I've been here many time and it's usually great the service and the atmosphere but this time around the service was poor no one to seat us and it was a bit annoying to see the servers stand right by our table talking in a large group instead of taking the time to make sure we where seated and got someone to take care of the table. Still one of my favorite places just wish the service was better

The food was good. I know it's New York and you gotta pay rent but you can probably find better, cheaper options. Probably a good place to watch sports though. I was honestly fine with it until I saw that they charged us for the coke refill. C'mon guys, it's a damn soft drink that was already like $4 for one.

Great location (33rd), great music, great atmosphere. The appetizers we ordered were flavorful and delicious! Burgers... Not so much. The entrees looked great but had zero flavor. I had the French onion burger, another had the mac n cheese burger... Even the mac n cheese was flavorless. I also had the cinnamon and peach cocktail and it tasted like a strong tea. Overall, I think it was way too pricey and not worth it. 3 stars for the appetizers, music and atmosphere.

The 3 stars are for the short ribs tacos. Celebrating a birthday with a pieces, so ofcourse she wants 14k gold wings . The wings are just okay. The service wasn't as good . I expected a lot more from a place that serves 14k gold wings accompanied by Ace of spades . First the waiter didnt introduce herself. This really bothers me in any restaurant. Second, she didnt already know if they were serving the special wings today. Third she only checked on us 1 time and never asked if we wanted dessert . She saw we were finished eating then brought over the check. Where is the customer service???? Also I am pretty sure the manager came by a few times and leaned on a table nearby until we left. He never said 1 word to us. That made me uncomfortable. Safe to say I do not recommend this place to anyone. I will Not go back , unless someone is paying for my short ribs beef tacos!

One of the best sports bars around. It's large and airy - though it can feel claustrophobic when it's packed for a big game. It's not cheap, but decent bar food, i.e., order the burgers and nachos not the steak or salmon. Also gets a nice crowd - including groups of attractive women there to meet real men ;-)

I've been here several times as I stayed at the Hilton in the same building. Drinks are fine, Food is good, burgers are great, ambiance alright, staff occasionally slow, some days just fine. Owner: want 5 stars? Whip some of ur staff some more. Waiter: The task is to look for empty drinks and plates, rounding up them orders and gaze over your area to see if guests try to make contact. Ur chatting with friends or colleagues is SECONDARY.

Good: Food was decent, especially for a sports bar. TVs, a good amount of them; easy to see games. Bad: Doorman didn't want to let me in based on how I was dressed. He is black. Friends complained to manager - I got in. Once inside, number of black guys dressed similar to me. I mean, I'm not even that guy, but it was a joke. AND...it's a SPORTS BAR! My waitress forgot my drink completely. Ordered Old Fash (rare occasion). Tasted like someone spilled an entire box of sugar into it. If you want to go to a sports bar there's ZERO reason to go to this place. Daddy O's will serve you best food and drinks with the games and you can bounce right next door to Village Tavern for full sports experience. It's always the answer.

Saw a picture of the gold dusted wings about a year ago and decided I wanted them the next time I was in New York. Got the venue, get seated and my friend and I each order 10 wings at $45 per order. We ask the waitress if we can get all drums and flats as we each had a preference. She told us we could only get flats.... I ask a staff member and he was as perplexed as I was. He then assured me we would get an even number of both, ok. We then asked for some Grand Marnier...same waitress said they didn't serve that there... again another staff member corrected her and then she proceeded to ask how we wanted it. Our wings arrive, I'm excited as I've waited for a year to try them...ate one and the disappointment that washed over my face was apparent. Same for my friend who ate 2 and then stopped to say "these really aren't good". Management removed one order from our bill as I couldn't eat them and even the smell started to bother me. Ordered the fried mac and cheese burger instead...it was bland, ate about half of it and pushed it away.. And I had to constantly ask our waitress for things throughout the time we were there that we'd asked for from the beginning because she'd forget then disappear for 15 mins at a time. This experience was unfortunately a bad one for us. But if you want some social media pics, it may be worth it to some.

This place truly sucks, I mean well done. Ate lunch here on three different occasions and each time was worse than the last. You are greeted by a hostess who does not even look up from her phone every single time. Then once seated, it takes about 10-15 minutes for anyone to even get you water. Then your food comes about 50 minutes after you have sat down. If all goes well you are in and out in about 65 mins. It is lunch people, the goal is to be in and out relatively quickly. Management grossly understaffs the place so there is literally one to two people working the entire place. Ainsworth you stink and your management is embarrassing. Please please truly reconsider what your doing with your business, if not you will not be around for long.

Awesome place to watch a game. A lot of Pros AND Cons: PROS: very social environment, I always meet people when I go here. In my own experience, there have also been a good handful of handsome MEN in this bar, wow. Lots of TVs, never a bad seat in the house for watching a game. CONS: It's EXTREMELY loud and extremely crowded. You have to keep in mind you're in a very social sports bar, so that's to be expected, but something to be prepared for. Also, I think the drinks are a little bit overpriced, I usually pay $11-14 for well drinks, which I think is a bit steep. But I will definitely go again!

This is a good bar most of the time. It's definitely on the nicer side to watch a game, but I wouldn't quite call it a sports bar (there are usually only a couple games on at a time). About half the time this place is too crowded for my taste and the bartenders aren't the best or quickest. Still, it can be an awesome place to get a drink after work and the food is better than you would expect for something that advertises itself as a sports bar.

Came here for a party for a friend, the front desk gal was a bit standoffish. I tried to give her info about the party, she did some searching, and then said I likely was at the wrong location. I wasn't. After my friends arrived and we did indeed have a reservation, we went to go get our first round. There were 3 girls behind the bar. 1 of them was making a drink. The other two were just standing there chatting. Overall, bad impression. The menu was good, happy hour was a bit disappointing, and staff was underwhelming.

I attended a birthday party celebration at this place tonight. Before going there, I checked their google reviews and was surprised of the low rating they received (3.9 at the time of this writing). So, I ended up reading all the one star reviews before going there to find out what people did not like at this place. I am happy to tell you that I did not experience and thing negative tonight at all. The place was clean, staff was polite and efficient, the service was fast, and the food was good in quality and in presentation. In addition, for a sport bar, it was very good to see that the quality of the monitors they had was very high and all were calibrated and displaying the same color schemes without any annoying deviation. One thing I noticed was that depending on where you are in the bar, the sound was a little muffled. However, this is typical in most bars in New York City, and I hope they can fix it.

One of those places for office parties or watch a march madness with friends. Great appetizers, quick service and good drinks. Love the crowd coming in, makes it lively and loud (which I like most days). Huge space so reservations are easy for big parties

The food was very good. I order a side of Buffalo wings and the famous Mac and Cheese burger. Both were very good. The only thing I did not like was that my friends and I had to sit on bar stools facing a wall. We had very little room to move. It just felt uncomfortable. The place was not busy and there were empty tables. So when I asked the hostess why we could not be seated at one of the tables she said they were reserved for a party. She said it with an attitude, like I'm bothering her. So I finished my food and probably stayed an extra 25min ordering more drinks. When we left I noticed the reserved tables were still empty and I asked the other hostess about the reserved tables for the party and she looked at me confused and said she was unaware about a party. Again the food deserves 5 STARS but the attitude from the first hostess made my first experience at The Ainsworth uncomfortable. My friends and I will not be returning to The Ainsworth.

I've been wanting to try this place for months, as I heard great things and it's just a short walk from my apartment. My dad was in town visiting, so it seemed like an opportunity to try it out. We went at noon on a Monday, and there were only 3 other tables the entire time we were there. The lunch menu was very limited, there's a couple starters, and a lunch special that comes with 2 sliders and a salad. It took at least 10 minutes for the server to approach our table at all. My dad ordered an iced tea and when she brought it out, it was a diet coke. No big deal, it happens. She didn't write our orders down, and while she was entering them she came back to double check that she had my order right. Thank god she did, because she had the wrong order. We then waited an hour for our food (2 sliders, in an almost empty restaurant). By the time we got the food, the sliders were cold. They were also about the size of my thumb, it would probably take 6 to fill you up in any way. I had ordered the caesar salad as part of the special, but asked that the chili crumbs be left out. Safe to say, they were on the salad when I got it. After I let the waitress know, she took it back to the kitchen. A worker from the kitchen brought another salad out to me a couple minutes later. But after about two bites, I realized that they didn't make me a new salad at all. They just removed the very visible pile of chili crumbs on top of the salad so that I would think it was changed. After I ate the top layer, it became clear there were plenty of chili crumbs still left in it. My dad and I were unhappy, but we had taken everything in stride up until this point. Once the salad was unchanged, we were both pretty pissed off, and couldn't get out of there fast enough. This was the worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant. I had heard good things and was looking forward to trying it out, but now, I would give it 0 stars if I could. The most enjoyable part of my cold meal was the pickle.

Disappointing experience overall. Waitstaff was disorganized and not helpful. Our waitress totally disappeared and we had to get up and find a new waiter to take our order after 10 min of waiting (and the place was not busy). Music in restaurant area was so loud it was difficult to have a conversation. The food was ok. Not bad but not great. It was very expensive for the portion size. It took a long time to get our food. The restaurant was unwilling to customize orders at all.

For being a pretty large bar by NYC standards, this place was beyond packed and mostly by bandwagon bama fans (always easy to pick them out, just ask about anything pre-Saban). Went here for the FSU game so I really didn't have a dog in this fight (state pride vs. SEC, I guess?). Honestly though, by the time we left, I almost wanted to root for the noles...and that's coming from a Gator. Hell, the number of times they played Sweet Home Alabama (a song by a Florida band no less), it's like the bar owners went to a Tennessee game and by the 50th rendition of Rocky Top realized this is what the tide have been missing this whole time. Less is more guys.

We took some customers here for lunch and were given a very limited lunch menu. 5 app choices and a choice of sliders with 6 salads. That was the complete lunch menu. We were there for an hour and 30 minutes before our meals were served. Some had pickles others did not. Servers have the wrong plates to almost all 11 of us. We were never asked if we wanted refills on drinks, if we wanted ketchup or were checked on until we called waitress over. I only give 1 star because food was pretty good but maybe that was due to the 90 minute wait for it. Disappointed because we had eaten here previously when they offered a complete menu. Not sure what changed but it has gone down a very steep hill. I will not be going back. Worst 2 hour lunch I have had.

Came here for an event, and had a great time. The venue has a rustic glam theme, featuring high barn-like woodplanked ceilings with chandeliers hanging immediately below. Green hedges section off the restaurant and lounge sections. Their sliders are great, especially the pulled pork. The bar had a great amount of variety, including the use of fresh herbs to muddle/infuse/garnish cocktails. Make a visit on a weekday to fully enjoy the spacious venue and relax with great food and drinks.

BEWARE: I wouldn’t recommend going to this place and I would most definitely not recommend paying by credit card. Me and my boyfriend went there last Sunday and he opened a tab. They ended up charging him 3 times from the credit card and we’ve been trying ever since to recover our money. We called many times and also went over to talk to the manager, but he was not available. Furthermore the manager is not calling my boyfriend back to resolve this issue despite the fact that he’s has been told he will call.. It’s starting to feel like a SCAM.

I went here to watch a Raptors game, and it was full of Raptors fans. Great sports bar with a long bar with plenty of seating. Lots of TVs showing multiple events. Hostess wanted a minimum spend of $350 to offer us a table of 4. Food was slow. I would definitely go again for the ambience.

What a comfortable, beautiful upscale gastropub. Perfect place for watching sports and having a bourbon. The entire bar is a lesson in how to make you feel you are in a spacious, relaxed environment for burgers and beers. The food is fantastic - try the steak sandwich or the Mac & Cheese Burger (this one is very messy!) The staff is wonderful, friendly, and they all seem to support Alabama football unquestioningly. So why four stars? Unfortunately, you won’t be able to hear one word of the conversation you’re having with your friends. They have a speaker system, and the attitude, of a nightclub in here, and in the mid-afternoon I don’t really want permanent hearing loss from Cardi B songs. If they would not play the music at nightclub volume, but perhaps bar volume, that would be better. I like the songs during the commercial breaks but good lord. Turn it down so we can talk and not have our ears hurt for hours after the game is over.

Service sucks. Came for brunch on Aug 6th. Ordered flat bread and french toast and it took over 20mins to get the food. When the food finally came out it wasn't even hot. It was more like like warm. And the server had an attitude.

Giant sports bar that's completely unmemorable. If you want to watch sports at a cozier place there are plenty more options, depending on the sport and team. Food was fine. Service was a bit slow last time I went, but it was during the election so I think it's definitely understandable and forgivable. That being said, if you come here during a big event (which people do), orders might take awhile.

A fancy sports bar? I don't get it and I don't need it. Made us wait in line for 45 minutes, knowing they wouldn't let us in until the game was over, but didn't tell us that information so we wouldn't know to leave and come back. And waiting in line for a sports bar really makes no sense. Only stayed out of loyalty to the friend that was housing his birthday there. No dance floor, so again, why is there a line? When we did get in, it was awkwardly empty. Freezing cold inside, because I guess when they were setting the temperature, they figured more people would want to come stand in line for a dressed up sports bar with no dancing on a Saturday night. Created a drag on the night. Crossing this off my list, never coming back.

I really don't want to write a two star review, but in this case it's warranted. We ordered lunch for 7 people, 5 salads and two burgers, the wait was over 25 minutes. I was recommended to their second most popular dish on the menu, the Mac n' cheese hamburger, and it was horrible. The actual meat was okay, but the Mac n' cheese had absolutely no flavor what so ever, it tasted like cardboard. I couldn't keep on eating. The saving grace was it was nice presentation and good ambiance. Overpriced, no flavor, and slow service.

The Ainsworth is now the bar for the Alabama alumni game watching gatherings, which I'm liking. They've got a ton of flat screen TVs located all throughout the bar. I've been other places where they have lots of TVs, but I think the Ainsworth takes the cake. Wow. Service is good and I like that they don't let it get too insufferably crowded. Big plus. One complaint is I finally ordered food the other day. Looked promising enough except for my turkey burger? Um not so much a turkey burger?!? It was more like a turkey breast sandwich... Not *bad*, but when you order a burger, that meat? It best be ground!!! Fries were very generic and bland. I'd recommend their sweet potato fries. I've had those and they're far superior!

The food was very fair. We had fish tacos, fish of the day (salmon), & a burger. Burger bun was very greasy & fries were fair. Fish tacos were 3, extremely small servings & fair tasting. I don’t typically eat a lot & not hungry after meals. But I was still hungry after this meal. The salmon was good but pricey for what you get. Service was very fair. Atmosphere was VERY loud. Probably ok if coming in for cocktails. Would not be recommend for dining.

Went there to just grab a drink and some food after work. Wow... talk about style over substance. The cocktails are nothing to write home about, especially for the price. I got an old fashioned and it was sickly sweet. Decided to try a few entrees between a few people and my god were they terrible. Burgers were tasteless and the chicken blt and short rib sandwiches somehow managed to be both dry and waaaaay over-sauced. Stay away, there are much better options just a few blocks away.

Wish I could give zero stars. Went here for my friends birthday with 6 people based on the great reviews. Absolutely shocked at the horrendous service. The website says open at 11 on Sunday’s and they took our reservation for 11 brunch. Upon arrival they told us they didn’t open until 12 but proceeded to seat us anyway. We were the only table in the restaurant, they didn’t take our orders for a half hour, we waited a half hour for coffee/tea and 45 min for food. The waitress never checked in, said no to all of our requests (such as if there is sugar for the coffee) and after all that the food was cold and subpar. Don’t order the stuffed French toast because it isn’t stuffed with anything except possibly cardboard. Other locations may be better, but 0/5 do not recommend this one.

Liked the decor and vibe but that was about it. Took about 30 minutes to get us water. We ordered oysters for an appetizer and two burgers. They brought them all out at the same time which was really strange. Who wants oysters with their burger? Oysters didn't seem fresh and had no taste. Not to mention that neither the waitress nor the guy who brought us the oysters knew what kind they were. Yea, maybe it was our mistake for getting oysters at a place like that, but why put them on the menu if you dont care about doing it right? Aside from that, the fries were cold and the burgers just ok. For 18 bucks a burger, it was really not worth it. Overall service felt slow and not on top of it. Long story short, had a bad experience and considering the price, don't think ill be going back

I came here for NYE this year and the whole event was actually pretty enjoyable. Packed, good music, drinks kept flowing. There wasn’t enough food going around even though it was advertised that there would be a lot more. The worst part about it was the cost check. At the end of the night people were trying to all get their coats. The people working really were doing their best to keep everything flowing and getting jackets as fast as possible. But the design of the coat check area was so horrendously poor that there was no room, nowhere for anyone to go, several fights broke out, and all security did was yell at everyone. Everyone was packed in so tight that we had nowhere to go, but there were guys working security screaming in everyone’s faces to move back. One of them broke my purse and yelled at me when I felt the strap tug off my arm. I was groped for about 30 minutes in this mess by a stranger who didn’t understand the word NO because security just kept pushing us back and I couldn’t get any of them to listen to me since they were so focused on yelling at everyone. Fun event, absolutely awful execution at the end of the night. Don’t hold big parties like this if you can’t handle that volume of people. And train your staff to know how to control a crowd in a less damaging way.

I'll start by saying that I came here during the slow time between lunch and dinner. We were seated right away and our waitress was attentive to the table and helpful. We came for the Mac and Cheeseburger and it didn't disappoint. The burger had good flavor and it was a good mac and cheese. The fries were also good and the pickle was a nice touch.

The waitressing staff needs training so that they can offer better service to large groups. We had to walk up to the waitress a couple of times to get her attention so that she could take our order. She was not busy with work. She was actually having fun with the other waitresses and/or at times just into her phone. My group of 7 people had to be patient while our waitress finished conversations with her friends. She took a while before deciding to put in our order into the kitchen. Other than that the place is nice and the food is great!

Horrible experience. After not leaving the bartender a tip (which of course is complementary, not required), he said he would no longer serve us drinks and instructed the other bartender to do the same. When a simple drink costs 20 dollars, you don't feel like leaving a tip. When this was brought to the managers attention, she defended the actions of the bartender. Horrible service. A tip is called a tip for a reason: it is complimentary. Rude and unwelcoming atmosphere. Go elsewhere.

The food was delicious . The staff was awesome, very friendly and personable. They were really on point. The truffle fries are out of this world. If you go there you must try them. The place has a great high endish atmosphere. It was a little pricey but definitely worth it. The only thing I could complain about is that they didn't give me a double servings..lol.. All and all was a great experience. Just be carful when pulling the steak knife out of the burger, I almost lost my finger, but it was my drunk fault.. I will definitely be back..

I really like the Ainsworth because the hospitality has always been top notch. The waiters I've encountered so far have been super friendly, helpful and courteous. The DJs play amazing music all night and is a great place to go, not just after work but at night as well for a good bite and some great time with friends. The food menu is really good as well, from their pressed chicken to their steaks, as well as their mac n cheese burger. They all taste pretty good, and they have an extensive drink list as well. The layout of the space is great because if you are there for dinner, you are a bit segmented from those who are there to just hang out at the bar. The noise gets a bit high, but the space is more of a clubstaurant, so you can't really expect quietness from such an establishment. It is great for sports games because they have an extensive list of games on at one time, across about 20 to 30 different screens.

Nothing special. Average marks for food/ drink and service. Superior marks for atmosphere. Came here for Brunch with a friend. I arrived earlier than she did. Upon arrival, there was no at the podium to greet me. Waited as the only two servers in sight chatted at the bar. The one not behind the bar eventually said hello... that's all. I informed her I had reservations and was waiting for the other half of my party to arrive. She said ok and continued her conversation. When my friend arrived, we asked to be seated at the rooftop. Rooftop wasn't ready despite the establishment being open for now 7 hours. Not a huge deal; we were told it'd be ready in about 10 minutes and we could wait at the bar on the main level in the meantime. Bartender was attentive. Drinks were subpar. Eventually moved up to the rooftop. Highlight of the outing. Lovely space despite the random utensils dropped on the floor... The menus were old and dirty and the glasses were greasy. We partook in the Bottomless Brunch special (the price of which differed from what was listed online) and our original drink option was not initially available as it was still being prepared. Again, this is at nearly 2pm. Not the biggest deal either because we were able to start off with a satisfactory substitution and switch when the drink was available. Our meals, while tasty for the most part, were not hot and the drinks continued to be subpar. Traffic was noticeably light leading me to believe this isn't the most popular venue. I'm willing to give it another shot to experience their evening vibe but my brunch experience was, at best, average.

We've been here before and haven't had an issue but today was definitely a bad experience. The place had maybe ten other people - tops - so you would expect service to be fast. Our first bar tender kept going to talk to her friends and left us sitting with empty glasses for over ten minutes. Then she left without telling us. The guy that replacex her was worse... if thats possible. We placed a food order which he forgot about. Then said he would put a rush on it... 30 minutes later we still had no food. We sat with empty glasses again for a long time. Not to mention trying to get our bill was a debacle in itself...

Horrible experience! We were seated for 30 minutes with no waitress or beverages. I had to get up from our table and ask the hosts where our waitress was and they could not give me an answer. They then sent a random waitress to our table and she gave off the impression that she did not even want to serve us. She placed a canister of water on our table and disappeared for another 30 minutes and didn’t even take our order. My boyfriend already knew that he wanted to order the 24k gold wings and also a order of hot wings for me 10 minutes after being seated. She finally came back to take our order and literally 1 minute later our original waitress asked us if we had been taken care of. We told her yes and then we waited another 45 minutes for our food. The food finally arrived and while the hot wings were good, the 24k gold wings were absolutely disgusting. We had never tasted anything that horrific before and we were greatly disappointed! The smell of the wings made me sick. We pushed the plate aside and eventually our waitress came back and we put in for another order of hot wings because my boyfriend was clearly still hungry . We waited and waited but our hot wings never came and the plate of gold wings were never cleared off our table. We then asked our waitress for the check and instead of bringing it she talked to couple at the table next to us and never went and got it. Our original waitress then came 10 mins later and asked us if we needed anything. We asked her for the check and she quickly brought it to the table. When we looked at our bill we were charged for the one order of hot wings that we never even received. I took the check to the hostess because at this point both waitresses had disappeared again! So then I had to get up from my table AGAIN and go up to the hostess about the issue on the bill she rolled her eyes and balled it up and tossed it to the side. She then brought an accurate bill to our table placed it down and did not say a word. We paid our check and got out of there. Never again! One of the worst dining experiences ever. Eat here at your own discretion!

Large sports bar, pretty awesome location. The staff is great, very friendly and deals with a lot, but they handle the situation really well. The bar itself has several TVs, very large area in case you need a large party, and very subtle cool to the design. I can't tell you about the food, mostly just the beer. Nothing bad to say, kinda wished I ordered something to eat. Overall, just a nice place to hang out and catch up with a co worker or enjoy yourself.

Came here for a private event sat 11/18 for my birthday. I was literally there 15-20 mins before a huge fight broke out and the event was shut down. The problem is I had bottle service in which I paid $550 to the manager Daniel. I understand he had no control over the situation but I never opened my bottles and was unable to take them with me. When i confronted Daniel about getting my money back he told me there was nothing he could do. After further going back and forth he gave me $150 back. Mind you I just got seated at my table with no bottles open. The bottle girls opened my moet but I was unable to drink it because of the fight we were told to leave. I'm still trying to figure out why can't i get atleast 400 out the 550 i paid back for my unopened bottles?! He said he will review the tape and call me back in which I find to be B.S. long story short, I want my money back for my unopened bottles Daniel!

The Ainsworth has always provided consistency in being a great spot to come eat, drink, and hang out with friends in a nice airy atmosphere. They have live DJs on the weekends and their cocktail and drink selections are great. The prices aren't outrageous for what you get as well so that adds to the experience. I would recommend this spot as a nice change up to the usual dark small bars and cafes.

The service was decent but the music was too loud (and mostly inappropriate), and food took forever to come (while the place was only 1\3 full) and when it finally arrived, it was cold. I left about 10 minutes ago and the service was so horrendous that I felt obligated to rate this place immediately! My boyfriend and I arrive and had a 2:30 PM reservation and there was no hostess at the front. A runner/busboy acknowledged our presence we stood waiting for about 3 minutes and said that he’d bring someone to seat us. We waited about 3 more minutes until the hostess actually came to the front and sat us. Our waitress Shelvey (I am assuming by our receipt print out as she did not introduce to us), took our order for water and immediately followed it with, “so are you guys getting food or no?” We had just sat down so the thought of us having any inclination as to what we would want to order seemed preposterous. My boyfriend kindly declined stating we were still looking. She came back with sparkling water and we then gave our drink orders, she then followed, “so can I get some food for you guys or no?” At this point, we order two burgers medium well, this would be the last time we see our waiter was. The runner brings out our food, we wanted a side of bbq sauce but our waitress hasn’t come back to our table, she was at the table 100 ft from us talking laughing and playing with her or the patrons cell phone. We ate and she sat for 10 minutes while we watched our waitress talk and talk and talk and not acknowledge us in the slightest. Finally, insulted and frustrated we ask the hostess for our check. She says sure, walks away and ANOTHER WAITRESS, not the one who has been serving us brings our check. All the while, our waitress is still at the table in clear view of us, entertaining the other patrons. We were vacationing, read a lot about Ainsworth and were very excited to dine there and the experience definitely left a terrible taste in our mouths. Will not be returning and if asked, will not recommend to anyone. Food was decent, service was terrible and draft was flat.

Ate here because we were staying in the adjoining hotel. Steaks were very tough, veggies undercooked, service almost non-existent. Due to lack of time to go anywhere else, we gave it another chance the next night. Stopped for an appetizer and a cocktail. How bad could that be? After being ignored for 15 minutes and asking busboy if we could get some attention, Server says "you want food?" Me: yes Him: what's up? Really? If you want happy hour, loud music and cocktails with friends....this is your place

Great rooftop bar terrace with full food menu. Was a quiet night so the atmosphere was relaxed and weather beautiful. Had the chicken BLT, well done fries, and side of roasted brussel sprouts. All delicious. Being more of a bar then table service, don't expect much customer service from the bartenders, although they were pleasant and attentive when I went up to the bar to ask for more ketchup and water refill.

I orders the 24k 10 piece wings ! And the Mac and cheese burger! If you’re looking for presentation you’re good to go but if you’re looking for FLAVOR ! Don’t order these . For the wings to be $48 w tax they were the blandest wings I’ve ever had in my my life . But they’re cool to look at !

2 times mixed up order with 3 other tables occupied. Good wings, bad old fashioned. Sorry put some love in your drinks if you have it on the menu or just offer beer only. I also was surprised to learn that you can't mix the wing sauces over 8 wings. First time I heard that. It's a competitive area for bars... The place overall is okay and the interior is nice and the staff is friendly... But not a 5 star as it is average (which is not horribly bad just not 5 star). I would come back, with set expectations.

Event type: drinks with friends and company happy hour. The Ainsworth is exactly what it comes off as - sports bar that aims for an upscale ambiance to enable over charging on some drinks and food. It’s one of the larger sports bars in the area, but not the only one. You won’t be disappointed, but a better option could be out there.

This restaurant was recommended to me by a NYC resident. My sons and I had a large salad, BBQ chicken sandwich and the Mac N Cheese Burger. The food was all excellent. The service was good and the place has a cool atmosphere. Two thumbs up!

As the picture shows I had the famous Mac'n Cheese Burger with fries and a side of Mac'n Cheese. The Ainsworth I went to is attached to a hotel and has a sports lounge feel to it. The environment is nice and the staff is friendly. The burger was actually pretty good and filling but the beef party itself lacked sufficient seasoning. If it wasn't adorn in Mac'n Cheese it would taste bland plus the menu is pricey. Can't have pricey menu and bland food. Not a good mix.

Waiter and host was very rude and the host kept staring us down, and they seemed very racist. They told me and my cousin and brother that our cards each declined when it was time to pay for the bill,when In fact we had more than enough money on our cards. I felt if so they did it to us purposely. Would never go there again!!! And the Mac and cheese burger isn't all that btw

This was not a good experience. A total of 50 minutes for a nice dinner, because the service was so rushed. The food was pretty good, based on our limited experience. I had a burger with salad, my wife had short-rib tacos, both of which were fine. The burger was cooked rare, as ordered. My wife’s cosmo was good, and our wine was exactly what we ordered. So why only two stars? Noise level and service!!! It was so loud that we could barely talk to each other, and the server had trouble understanding us despite standing right next to me. The music was (literally) painfully loud, and the excessively enthusiastic nearby conversations didn’t help. Apparently this is a sports bar, not a restaurant. Clearly the Ainsworth is aimed at 20-somethings, not 60-somethings; I wish we had known beforehand. Pricey for a meal with no appetizers and no desserts, especially for a burger and tacos rather than steak or something. Also, although the server was nice enough, she was clearly rushing us out the door, starting with asking for our order before we even had a chance to study the menu and before she had asked about drinks. All in all, seems odd for a restaurant attached to a hotel (Hilton Garden Inn).

Pretty dark atmosphere but it was a nice evening. I was here for an Internations event. In the beginning, I was informed right away that the bar would automatically charge a service tip fee. That was surprising. I had never seen that anywhere for ordering just a few drinks. But after i read the other comments here, i believe this place has some issues with bartenders or tipping guests. I did not have issues but the tip thing is kind of odd.

On a Monday, I met a friend for a drink at the bar and proceeded to a private event in back. It's a fairly large and open sparsely decorated space in the flat iron district. ( Where there are several other such hangouts available). Nothing imaginative about the food or drink selection. They call themselves a "sports bar", but had only the minimal size and number of broadcasting screens (TVs). Except for our party, I couldn't judge the crowd, as it was a quiet time. The staff was friendly. Pricing was standard for the area.

Don't come here. They give you an hour to get in free. Got here before the cut-off time and waited on line after they told me which of the 2 lines to stand in. Get to the front and they say if I didn't literally pay for the bottle/table I need to be on other line. I go to other line. I wait for 20 min. Then they tell me to go back to the other line. I finally get in and they tell me $20 :l ... go straight to hell...

2nd rate operation at best. Is this place a sports bar or Resturant? To me they fail at both. Seems like owners are confused since they have tv screens with games on but they only have music on full blast that u can't even have a normal conversation. Food is also mediocre and drinks are expensive. I give this place 6 months before they close Bottom line is Go somewhere else

Excellent food! I shared the PBJ, chicken sandwich with delicious peanut slaw and jalapeno jelly. Really good! Ordered a side of fries that were yummy. My friend had the mac n cheese and loved it. The menu looked great and we cant wait to go back.

Worse mixed drink in a tiny plastic cup, for a total of $29.00 . Others had reg.mixed drinks that looked good in a standard glass. I was told they glasses were probably all dirty when we ordered ours. That didn't bother me as much as they were worst drinks my hubby and I had ever had anywhere in the US. I wasn't going to say anything until we got the tab. No way those drinks were that much!! We don't mind paying more than that if it is a decent drink. Next visit to NY, we will still to the bar across the street. They were great!
