Amazing restaurant. Food is beyond impeccable. From the salad bar to the cuts of meat that are ushered around from table to table you will be completely satisfied with your experience at Texas de Brazil. Make sure to try their fried banana. I have to admit its my favorite thing about this restaurant even though its only meant as a palate cleanser.

Christmas party was incredible here. It's an amazing feast that just keeps coming... everything was enjoyable except for the lamb. The lamb is very gamey. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere is very nice. A little Christmas music would have been perfect.

OMG I LOVE THIS PLACE. The Salad bar is crazy. You get a little bit of everything. And they have soup and rice too. Don’t fill up here though, just make sure you have enough to pair with the delicious meats coming around. The food is so wonderfully flavorful and the staff is on point. The only complaint I have is the restroom, which felt more like a port-o-potty. The reason I took one star. So, GREAT place to eat and celebrate, just try to avoid the toilets.

Love everything here. Of you are into having lots of different types of meet this is your place. They have chicken, pork, beef, as well as plenty of soup and salad for a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend going during the Magic Dining time of year as our meal was reduced in comparison to previous visits. They can accommodate small to large groups throughout the year. A must of you're in the area!

Let's start by saying not my first time here!! The reason I keep coming back the service, the food, the staff are all excellent. We had two birthdays in our party and they made it awesome!!Managers close and attentive to service as well as servers and the meat guys faster than I can eat and that's saying something. Love this place can't get enough of it. Just must save room couple days so I can gorge on all they offer everything here is above standard and just wish I lived here lol. Annie tonight was great!! Food as always delicious and once again I'm packed to capacity!! Who cares about the super bowl!! I have been to a few of these as well as competitors and this was by far the worst culinary experience outside of a McDonald’s in a long time. If you expect anything cooked past rare, keep on pushing. I would try other locations maybe. Want drinks? Well fill up before they come, they won’t bother seeing if you want more. Place sucked.

Great venue for a large group or a small gathering. The service was excellent, and very accommodating to our needs. We reserved a semi-private area for a group of 35. We were pleased. The soup was amazing, and the salad bar even impressed my veggie wife. The meats were quite good as expected. The filet was a bit dry, but very tender. The sausage was tasty. Bacon wrapped chicken was good when fresh. BBQ ribs and flank steak were excellent! Parmesan chicken and garlic sirloin were ok. The top sirloin slices were by far my favorite, next to the soup. Drinks were a bit watered down, but the desert was good. We had bananas Foster and key lime pie. The banana was better in my opinion.

I usually go here a few times during the year. Either a special event with friends or showing friends from out of town a great, unique experience. The service is always great, the atmosphere is wonderful and the food is talked about for days after. Great salad bar and the meat is wonderful. The service is really good and they really are looking to make a great time for the entire table. The price may be a little high, but the experience, and food make the price worth it.

Meat overload! Lol we came to celebrate father's day and once again it did not disappoint. We had our 3 children with us. Our son was laughing because at one point there was 5 different servers at our table with different selections. Let me break it down. When you arrive you get coins with one side red and the other green. If you ordered both the salad bar and meats, you go to the salad bar first. Don't be deceived and load up here, you have to save room for the meats. They also bring unlimited mashed potatoes, bread and fried bananas to your table. Some drinks are free, like Sprite, but I don't remember every one. When you're ready, you turn your coin over to green and they begin coming around carving meat from large skewers. They have lamb, ribs, pork, steak, chicken and shrimp. I may have left something off. Either way, it's going to be a way for you to eat as much as you like and sample other things. When you've had enough, turn your coin over to red and they will just walk by your table. I personally love the shrimp and parmesan crusted chicken. It's like a grilled chicken wing with a lot meat on it for some reason, and its super tender. My husband doesn't eat pork, so instead of the bacon wrapped chicken, they cooked him some without bacon. It was good, but the salad bar needs more standard salad items, eggs, shredded cheeses, different dressings, etc. Also, don't forget to ask if they are running a dessert special. They come to the table when you get ready to go and ask if you saved room for dessert, but you're so full, you don't even want to think about it. I asked if they were running a special and she said yes that dessert is actually free, but they aren't allowed to tell you, that you have to ask, then they can say. Even if you're full right then, they pack it up for you to go. Crazy, but yes. It's about $50 per person, but its definitely something that everyone should experience.

Made a reservation for our fourth trip to this location. We were let down on the experience this time. Most of the meat that was served was over cooked and well done. Definitely not tender and juicy as past experiences. Also we were able to go on Labor Day which there was a special running for $20.00 off on dinner for two. I happened to have a gift card from a friend and planned on using it in conjunction to make it an inexpensive trip. I was told at the checkout that I wasn't able to use the gift card in conjunction with the Labor Day discount. This was disappointing and made absolutely no sense. My wife advised we should have had them split the check and she could get the Labor Day discount and I would get the gift card. I decided I would simply deduct my tip on the server. Won't be back.

Service is the best part about this restaurant. Hostess was extremely friendly and got us a seat immediately even though we were about 30 minutes early for our reservation. Waiter was also friendly and checked up on us regularly. The food itself is always good here as well. Salad bar is the better than all the other Brazilian steakhouses. Selection is a lot smaller but quality is great. Meat is all very flavorful and cooked to perfect medium rare. I am a little disappointed that they don't do grilled pineapple anymore and it is just served cold in the salad bar. Other than that, this place is miles above it's competitors.

Allow me to regale the reader with an accurate run-down of my experience, which in an ideal world would be reproduced for every person to dine at Texas De Brazil. I sit down with my girlfriend and a very knowledgeable waitress explains the whole experience; you will have a card to flip to either green or red depending on whether you would like to be served some of their Brazilian style meats. I always had it on green, but I ended up turning down some of the rounds after I tried them all once; not because they were bad, but because some of them were more worthy to be stuffed down my gullet. I was almost unable to begin eating the kale salad, many different cheeses amd salmon strip because of the sheer volume of cooked animals shedding strips of themselves before me. If you want my advice, the garlic sirloin, flank steak, and lamb chops are the best - but by request only, one should always, always try the rib cuts. Quite the fattiest, but most delicious cut of meat that I have ever had. All in all, this establishment is among the most unique and delicious dining experiences a couple could have in Birmingham.

This spot is basically the Brazilian charascuria(meat fest) concept. Great variety salad bar, but remember to leave room for the various meat offerings. Courteous service, although this establishment is quite spacious, the servers manage to make you feel that you're getting individual attention. Somewhat rare in a high volume restaurant like T de B. Food is always great and service is great, but the reason I give only 3 stars is the issues I’ve had with management and the hosting staff. On several occasions they have been rude and not accomdating. I can recall one evening where they would not seat us until the 5th person in our party showed up, I can understand this policy for a LARGe party, but 5 people, really? Honestly I wouldn’t even attempt coming here without a reservation because you will get scoffed at by whoever is at the host stand, and you better have your ENTIRE party there regardless of the size.

The Brazilian steakhouse idea is a great one, and Birmingham's Texas de Brazil is a good example: all you can eat of several kinds of meat (steak, lamb, pork, chicken, and shrimp), brought to your table by attentive roving servers. They have salad fixings and side dishes too, as well as delicious desserts -- if you can bring yourself to leave room for them! As they say at IHOP, "Come hungry, leave happy." Highly recommended. (Cost is $49 per person; well worth it!)

Delicious! What a wonderful location. I was very impressed with this restaurant! So much meat, such a HUGE selection from the salad bar. I couldn't stop eating and the service was AMAZING. We can't wait to return and enjoy this place over and over again. Our server was amazing and even decorated our dessert plate for our anniversary! Just a heads up, if dining for Magical Dining Month, you have to visit for dinner.

This resturant is a meat lovers dream, although they do have an amazing salad bar. We always get seated right away but I would recommend reservations. They have an outstanding standard of service and you can tell that this resrurant is managed well! The manager, Fabio Leal, always greets us at the door and walks to all the tables to make sure your service is above your expectations. We love coming to this resturant not only for the food but the amazing service!

Yes it is expensive but you certainly get what you pay for and then some!!! It is after all a top self all you can eat table side service meat buffet!!!! I promise you will not be disappointed just be sure to make reservations as they are almost always busy!

This was our second visit to this location. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. We were in and out of the restaurant in 45 minutes total. My only complaint is that the gauchos were a bit too overwhelming. At some points we had three different men at our table all talking over one another and asking us questions. A little more space would have been appreciated. Other than that I have no complaints though.

A few weeks ago I went to Texas de Brazil and had not such a good time. The food with the exception of the lamb wasn't seasoned the valet was terrible and when water started to fall on our table a manager never came. The reason I'm giving them a 5 is because once I got home and emailed them the response was immediate and the company asked what it could do to make it better. They sent a gift card and was polite thorough the whole ordeal.

Just went to this location in Birmingham, AL to celebrate Christmas with the family and me returning from a deployment. This is not my first time to Texas de Brazil but to this specific location. The food and server were great! Well ...at the completion of our meal I applied my 20% military discount and my $240 bill came down to $199.93 (I was ecstatic) because I had $200 in Gift Cards from Christmas. Our server then told me both discounts couldn’t be applied and I was confused because I only applied one discount, the military. I asked for the manager and he told me because the Gift Cards were purchased at Costco at a discounted rate I couldn’t apply “two discounts”. I am still super confused by this since the only discount I asked for was military... the manager continued to argue with me and he was incredibly rude. I will not be coming back to any Texas de Brazil ever and and the manager RUINED a nice family night. I can’t believe of the lack of customer service he provided. I always though the customer was right and he should have done the right thing for the circumstance and just discounted both. Texas de Brazil needs to reconsider him for management position. Leal was his last name and he needs to be removed or retaught customer service!! The worst part about it was I asked him to split the check at $200 and $40 if he wasn’t gonna honor the total discount. That way he could apply the 20% discount on the $40 and apply the gift cards to the $200. He then refused ... is it’s Texas de Brazil’s policy to not honor military discounts? Or just this particular one? I am still astounded.

At one time, this was my favorite Texas de Brazil location. Their focus was on customer service and creating a wonderful customer experience. Now the serving staff is pushy, condescending and and unprofessional. The food is great but the experience rates as substandard. They are obviously more interested in turning over tables than satisfying customers. After more than a dozen years, today will be my last visit! Orlando has other Brazilian steakhouses at lower prices.

Although it was pretty expensive, the food was AMAZING!! They bring meats out on skewers and it’s unlimited!!! You can eat all the meat you ever wanted too!! Once you want some meat to stop coming to the table, you flip this device on the table to red and when your ready for more, you flip it back to green! They also have a salad bar, sushi, and so much more!! The place is brand spanking new and is absolutely so clean! The location by The Village, made me and my family feel very welcome! Their hospitality is amazing! I would highly recommend you to go and try their restaurant/buffet out!!!

Our company Christmas party was held at Texas de Brazil, first our service and food was excellent. Our servers were very attentive and came to our table numerous times to check on our needs. Great atmosphere as well. Only drawback was we had reservations for 7:30 and had to wait about 10 minutes for our table. That was the only hiccup for the evening. Thank you for an enjoyable evening.

My family and I went to Texas de Brazil for my Birthday. As always, it did NOT disappoint. The delicious variety of meat was cooked to perfection. You couldn't ask for a better salad bar. The cocktails are great and the desert will round out the meal just right. (I recommend the Brazilian Cheesecake) If you have not visited Texas de Brazil, you must. It is phenomenal. It is worth every penny. If you are looking to make your experience even better; ask for David (pictured). David provides excellent service and will keep a smile on your face the entire night. Do NOT pass this restaurant by!!

I would have given it a 5, but there were a few issue... The noise level was unreal (maybe sound deadening tiles would help). They where forcing meat on us before we finished our salads. It seemed like they kept offering the same five cuts of meat. Parking is horrendous!

Saying this place is phenomenal is an understatement. They are a bit pricey; however, the quality is unmatched. The steaks they prepare are amazing. They come table to table and everything they serve tastes great. The flank steak is done to perfection, which is a hard piece of meat to do, it speaks volumes to how they prepare everything. Lets face it, its simply over priced. You can easily spend less for a better meal in Birmingham. All of us were sweating at one point and they said the ac was having issues, yet it started working once we said something. The gents walking around with meat were kind enough to put me a little extra meat juice on my shoulder as they walked by (FREE OF CHARGE). Cool theme just simply over priced. The bar tenders were awful and take forever as we waited on a table.

The food is delicious and the service is impeccable. A little pricey to take a family, but well worth it for the two of us. Depends on your budget, of course. If you go to their website they sometimes have gift cards on sale that you can send to yourself. Sign up for email updates and you can get $ off for birthdays and anniversaries. We also got 50% off for the Memorial Day weekend since we are retired military. Don't spend too much time at the salad bar since the meat is AYCE. Enjoy!

High class Viking-like. You have a card on your table you flip on green and they will bring you meat galore! Anything you ask the waiter is on it! You simply flip the card over to red if you feel you are done with the meat serving and when you are ready again you flip it back to green.They are keeping an eye on you at all times and u are never neglected. Great food, great service, great experience. Obviously the meats were the star of the night. However, the salad and hot bars were perfectly maintained. If you want the full meat experience, maybe skip some of the hot bar and salad bar food. Our server, Arthur, was very efficient and approachable. He gave great help and recommendations on mixed drinks for my wife and beers for me. It was my 30th Wedding Anniversary and I'm glad we spent it there. Highly recommend.

This is a great place for high quality meats, salad, soup and side bar. The service is great the rotation of meats is fantastic! The only thing we were disappointed about is when we asked for souvenir meat chips which are red/green on the flip sides they only gave us the green ones.

Texas de Brazil is an excellent place to eat. It has two huge Salad bars hot and cold. A sever comes around to you table with a variety of meats Sirloin, Fillet Minion, Leg of Lamb, and Grilled Shrimp.On the table is a small silver dish of Garlic Cream Mashed Potatoes and little Dinner Rolls. There are various Desserts to choose from. I would suggest making Reservations, they are very busy. ,

We’ve eaten at Texas de Brazil in other cities, but this was my first visit to the restaurant in Meridian. We had a wonderful dining experience. I decided to go for the salad bar only, as I wasn’t extremely hungry. The salad bar is exquisitely delicious. The lobster bisque and the cod (in coconut milk) were wonderful. I love the little cheesy rolls and the baked banana with cinnamon. If you order a Coke, it comes in a tiny ice-cold bottle. I look forward to returning soon, and going for the full dinner, enjoying the flank steak and garlic sirloin. The restaurant is very attractive and the employees are very nice.

Best steak house ever! They never fail to serve quality food, and greet you with a kindness. They always keep their restaurant nice and clean. Their salad bar is awesome and filled with multiple choices, including the never ending line of meat that is served fresh to your plate whenever you want; if you are a dessert fan like me, than you cannot leave without getting a slice of carrot cake! I don't think I will be going again. I walked in and no one was walking around offering meat to any of the guest. It appears the meat guys look at a seating chart and visit each table a certain amount of times. We had to leave our card on the green side the whole time jus to get meat. And we had to ask our waiter to have them come over. Seafood starts in April; however its on their website. The manager had to come approve a child meal and he as all that friendly. It was my mom's 60th bday... And she loved the cake. I went there before and enjoyed it. Its not upscale and not worth $50 a plate.

The staff there is great. The meat was the best one I've tried from the Rodízios here in Utah. Being a Brazilian myself I missed having some more typical food variety in the buffet and as well some typical foods like the chicken hearts and roasted pineapple. The service here is poor. I waited at the bar for someone to acknowledge me. I watched several employee's work on cutting fruit instead of greeting and attending to customers. I was given a wine glass for my beer with three lines on it. The bartender has no idea what she is doing. The bathroom stunk, the sinks we're so close to the faucet it was difficult to rinse off my hands. I came back from the bathroom, to find out what I ordered was not being served. This place sucks!!!!!!

Great venue for a large group or a small gathering. The service was excellent, and very accommodating to our needs. We reserved a semi-private area for a group of 35. We were pleased. The soup was amazing, and the salad bar even impressed my veggie wife. The meats were quite good as expected. The filet was a bit dry, but very tender. The sausage was tasty. Bacon wrapped chicken was good when fresh. BBQ ribs and flank steak were excellent! Parmesan chicken and garlic sirloin were ok. The top sirloin slices were by far my favorite, next to the soup. Drinks were a bit watered down, but the desert was good. We had bananas Foster and key lime pie. The banana was better in my opinion.

I feel I should start by saying I'm a bigger guy 6' 1" and 300+ lbs. I have eaten at many Brazilian Churrascaria style restaurants. Texas de Brazil is marketed to be more upscale. Upscale to me means a more romantic/ fancy ambiance and better food than the lesser rated restaurants. With this in mind I picked Texas de Brazil for my Anniversary dinner. My wife and I arrived at 8:15 pm Saturday night. It wasn't very busy. The 1st place the hostess seated my wife and me, my wife and I were basically pinned between the table and the people behind us. Since it was so uncomfortable I asked to be moved and was able to get a better spot. The waitress was kind and took our drink order. I ordered a Coke and my wife had a Sprite. Both of us had water along with our drinks. (Call me cheap but I dont like to pay for Coke or Pepsi products by the can, bottle etc.) As for the food...To me the only thing scaled up is the price. The meat was good but not any better than the other Churrascaria options in the area. The salad bar was small, bland and had very few options. Unfortunately the value of this dining experience was not there for me. There are many other restaurants in the Salt Lake area where you can spend the same amount and leave feeling like you got what you paid for. They did provide us with a complementary desert for our Anniversary which was a plus, but my overall experience was poor. I dont plan to come back and wouldn't recommend eating here to Family or Friends

Meat overload! Lol we came to celebrate father's day and once again it did not disappoint. We had our 3 children with us. Our son was laughing because at one point there was 5 different servers at our table with different selections. Let me break it down. When you arrive you get coins with one side red and the other green. If you ordered both the salad bar and meats, you go to the salad bar first. Don't be deceived and load up here, you have to save room for the meats. They also bring unlimited mashed potatoes, bread and fried bananas to your table. Some drinks are free, like Sprite, but I don't remember every one. When you're ready, you turn your coin over to green and they begin coming around carving meat from large skewers. They have lamb, ribs, pork, steak, chicken and shrimp. I may have left something off. Either way, it's going to be a way for you to eat as much as you like and sample other things. When you've had enough, turn your coin over to red and they will just walk by your table. I personally love the shrimp and parmesan crusted chicken. It's like a grilled chicken wing with a lot meat on it for some reason, and its super tender. My husband doesn't eat pork, so instead of the bacon wrapped chicken, they cooked him some without bacon. It was good, but the salad bar needs more standard salad items, eggs, shredded cheeses, different dressings, etc. Also, don't forget to ask if they are running a dessert special. They come to the table when you get ready to go and ask if you saved room for dessert, but you're so full, you don't even want to think about it. I asked if they were running a special and she said yes that dessert is actually free, but they aren't allowed to tell you, that you have to ask, then they can say. Even if you're full right then, they pack it up for you to go. Crazy, but yes. It's about $50 per person, but its definitely something that everyone should experience.

We went for my daughters 3rd birthday. The meat was excellent, especially the filet mignon and the barbecued pork ribs. We did the magical dining offer and thought it was a good deal. The service was great our water glasses were always full. We had a great time, my 3 year old thought it was a little loud but I live for the party so she'll just have to get used to things like that. Lol. If youre on a low carb or the keto diet this place is definitely for you.

Was the most amazing and beautiful restaurant I have ever been to. For new people the waiter will explain how to be severed and how the servers serve by walking around carrying freshly grilled meat and cutting off slices to put on then plate. Every piece of meat there was amazing whether you want it medium rare or well done. Every meat served here is cooked pretty precisely and I can tell the chefs here definitely have some experience under their belt. The dessert is amazing. You can choose from one of their delicious pies or cakes or if you just want to relax you can have a coffee with tequila cream. You heard me right. This is a high end place. For a family of 5 (4 adults 1 child) plus dessert it was $276. Don't come here if you don't want to pay lots of money for very good food. My only one concern was that one of the beef cuts were undercooked for medium raw to the point where it was almost a deep red. It was fine for me anyways because I like meat on the raw side. This is not part of the review, but still funny. Our table with 3 very large men in it were eating everything and I think the servers were planning against us because we were eating all the meat we saw them talking in a small group then looking over at us

My recommendation to management please fire your hostice for 02/13/2019 she was clearly intoxicated, she asked me the spelling of my name last name 4x (It’s 4 letters) and asked for our reservation 3x, gave us no wait time, sat 2x parties without reservations prior to use, after waiting an hour and a half I asked another member of the staff why we were still waiting to which he replied the 2 person party who had just walked in without a reservation was in front of us. Made a reservation for our fourth trip to this location. We were let down on the experience this time. Most of the meat that was served was over cooked and well done. Definitely not tender and juicy as past experiences. Also we were able to go on Labor Day which there was a special running for $20.00 off on dinner for two. I happened to have a gift card from a friend and planned on using it in conjunction to make it an inexpensive trip. I was told at the checkout that I wasn't able to use the gift card in conjunction with the Labor Day discount. This was disappointing and made absolutely no sense. My wife advised we should have had them split the check and she could get the Labor Day discount and I would get the gift card. I decided I would simply deduct my tip on the server. Won't be back.

We had a great dining experience tainted by Texas De Brazil's error and lack of a timely response to resolve it. The food was delicious and the server was excellent. We had been provided a $100 e-gift card to visit the Denver location. When cashing out, we were told that the gift card had only $38.15 left on it. We did not visit at any other time and had no idea where the other funds were used. This was pretty embarrassing to discuss on the dining room floor. We paid our higher-than-expected bill and was advised that someone would be calling us. After 48 business hours of no response, we called the restaurant again, only to be referred back to the customer relations department. We emailed that team on August 12th. Just today (Sept 9th) are we getting this resolved. We were told that someone used our card at the Palm Beach Garden location in Florida. How it made its way there, we do not know as the card did not go through the mail or exchange hands with anyone but the gift giver and myself. Texas De Brazil's initial offer was to credit the gift card back the $61.85 used. I asked that we be refunded that amount. That request was on 8/19. I did not receive a response from their 'customer relations' team until I went to Twitter to get their attention a week later. Even at that point, I was told to provide them with my information and they would assist. I did not receive a response until 9/6 that would offer to either refund the $61.85 to the gift giver's credit card or provide us with a $100 gift card to be used again. I decline the gift card as I will not be returning or telling anyone to go in the future. At this point, the time wasted was done so due to the principle of the matter. Their customer relations team was simply awful in resolving this matter in a reasonable amount of time. I do not expect this review to change anything on their side. My goal is to steer others clear of having to deal with such poor service if anything needs to be handled outside of the server assisting you when dining.

Leaving a 2-star review because of my latest experience here on 7/21/19. I have been a loyal customer for years, but on this visit, it was like they had a management change and things took a very bad turn. First of all, the beverage service was almost non-existent, I waited over 15 minutes with an empty water glass. Second, after the first round of meat was served, we waited over 20 minutes for the gauchos to visit again, we were only offered 5 selections of meat. After asking 4 times for filet mignon, we were finally offered bacon wrapped filet, not good since 2 members of my party cannot eat pork. I had a 1/2 off discount card, and asked that the members of my party be able to use punches from my card, but was informed we'd all have to be on one check for that to happen, this has never happened before, and I've visited this location at least 15 times over the last 3 years. After requesting to speak to the manager, the waitress finally split our check, but the manager never visited our table. On every other visit I've ever made, the manager made a checkup visit to my table, not this time! The food was still as good as ever, but the selection we were offered today, and the service in general was severely lacking. If this does not improve on my next visit, I won't be back again!

Allow me to regale the reader with an accurate run-down of my experience, which in an ideal world would be reproduced for every person to dine at Texas De Brazil. I sit down with my girlfriend and a very knowledgeable waitress explains the whole experience; you will have a card to flip to either green or red depending on whether you would like to be served some of their Brazilian style meats. I always had it on green, but I ended up turning down some of the rounds after I tried them all once; not because they were bad, but because some of them were more worthy to be stuffed down my gullet. I was almost unable to begin eating the kale salad, many different cheeses amd salmon strip because of the sheer volume of cooked animals shedding strips of themselves before me. If you want my advice, the garlic sirloin, flank steak, and lamb chops are the best - but by request only, one should always, always try the rib cuts. Quite the fattiest, but most delicious cut of meat that I have ever had. All in all, this establishment is among the most unique and delicious dining experiences a couple could have in Birmingham.

Food is always great and service is great, but the reason I give only 3 stars is the issues I’ve had with management and the hosting staff. On several occasions they have been rude and not accomdating. I can recall one evening where they would not seat us until the 5th person in our party showed up, I can understand this policy for a LARGe party, but 5 people, really? Honestly I wouldn’t even attempt coming here without a reservation because you will get scoffed at by whoever is at the host stand, and you better have your ENTIRE party there regardless of the size.

The Brazilian steakhouse idea is a great one, and Birmingham's Texas de Brazil is a good example: all you can eat of several kinds of meat (steak, lamb, pork, chicken, and shrimp), brought to your table by attentive roving servers. Great new Brazilian restaurant in the village. Went in for date night before a movie and we were not disappointed. Almost needed a wheelbarrow to roll us out after so much tasty food. The salad bar isn't huge, but there are several interesting choices, not just the same old usual suspects you find at most salad bars. The lobster bisque was the best I've ever tried and the meat choices the gauchos brought out were all cooked perfectly. Quick, attentive service and nice, classy decor and atmosphere. Give yourself ample time for dinner because you'll probably need to take a rest partway through and pace yourself so you can sample everything.

This was our second visit to this location. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. We were in and out of the restaurant in 45 minutes total. My only complaint is that the gauchos were a bit too overwhelming. At some points we had three different men at our table all talking over one another and asking us questions. A little more space would have been appreciated. Other than that I have no complaints though.

Usually a great experience but this time lots of meat never came around....never saw the pork or any chicken..super slow to get any meat to the table, and when it did come around it was the last piece. And slightly warm, more like room temperature. And the bartender was the worst! Sat at the bar for 15 minutes waiting on a table and he never even looked at us. His tip lost! Super bummed! Just went to this location in Birmingham, AL to celebrate Christmas with the family and me returning from a deployment. This is not my first time to Texas de Brazil but to this specific location. The food and server were great! Well ...at the completion of our meal I applied my 20% military discount and my $240 bill came down to $199.93 (I was ecstatic) because I had $200 in Gift Cards from Christmas. Our server then told me both discounts couldn’t be applied and I was confused because I only applied one discount, the military. I asked for the manager and he told me because the Gift Cards were purchased at Costco at a discounted rate I couldn’t apply “two discounts”. I am still super confused by this since the only discount I asked for was military... the manager continued to argue with me and he was incredibly rude. I will not be coming back to any Texas de Brazil ever and and the manager RUINED a nice family night. I can’t believe of the lack of customer service he provided. I always though the customer was right and he should have done the right thing for the circumstance and just discounted both. Texas de Brazil needs to reconsider him for management position. Leal was his last name and he needs to be removed or retaught customer service!! The worst part about it was I asked him to split the check at $200 and $40 if he wasn’t gonna honor the total discount. That way he could apply the 20% discount on the $40 and apply the gift cards to the $200. He then refused ... is it’s Texas de Brazil’s policy to not honor military discounts? Or just this particular one? I am still astounded.

We went on a Friday evening when the restaurant was not too busy, and we waited at least 35 minutes before any of the gauchos ever showed up to our table. We let our server know and he said he would make sure they started coming to us... we waited another 20 minutes with only 2 options of meat served to us during that time. After an hour, we finally started being served meat, but at that point the experience had been ruined. Save yourself the disappointment and go to Rodizio instead. We have been to Rodizio a number of times and have never had this problem. We went to Texas de Brazil because we knew it was similar and we wanted to try it out, but it was not worth the $100 tab. We left very disappointed, and we were unsatisfied with the service and experience!

We had a great meal, until things got a little awkward half way through--I mean very scary not so much awkward. We were sitting at a table close to the salad bar, when we heard (and saw) the manager SCREAMING at one of his employee's. I'm not sure what that employee did; however, I don't think it warranted screaming, being in the guys face, and the repeated use of the "F" word by the manager. Everyone in the restaurant could hear. I feel extremely sorry for that poor employee who was humiliated in front of an entire restaurant full of people. We were very unimpressed with the unprofessionalism of the manager, and do not plan on returning to such a hostile environment. We had had great service up to that point (by that employee that was being yelled at, and the rest of the meat carvers), and the food was delicious. If the manager could fly off the handle at an employee like that I hate to think what would happen if a customer had a complaint...

The cocktails are great and the desert will round out the meal just right. (I recommend the Brazilian Cheesecake) If you have not visited Texas de Brazil, you must. It is phenomenal. I stopped on the 2nd round of meat, and couldn't try the rest. I really wanted to try their lamb, but was way to full from trying the ribeye, and chicken. I would only suggest that they offer a smaller choice for women, with much smaller appetites! Other than that, it was fabulous. The hostess was very helpful and courteous as well. Checking on us often. The deserts looked fabulous, but who has room for desert? Another suggestion would be to allow customers to take their dessert home. It should come with the meal when the cost of a couple is $130.00 plus tip!

Me and my boyfriend were trying to celebrate our 3 Year Anniversary and did not get the service that we were hoping for. Right out the gate we were asked to show I.D. since we were looking over the wine selection, which of course is reasonable since we do look young, but decided not to order any. Then the waiter asked how we liked our steak, medium. Not only were we not served medium the entire night (all were either blue rare or medium rare) we had to request for more sides and water by flagging down a waiter that wasn't ours. When our waiter decided to show up, halfway through our meal, he took our plates and asked if we were thinking of dessert. We were obviously not done eating since we had just had new sides brought to our table. The entire experience felt as though we were not welcomed, that our money was no good there, and like they were rushing us out of the restaurant to free up our table. People tend to spend 1.5 or more hours there, sitting and enjoying the experience. We were there for no more than 45 minutes. This is the second time we have been here to celebrate our anniversary, both times being a horrible experience. I wanted to give this place a second chance, but I will no longer be giving it a third.

Loved this place the first time. Went back a second time, didn’t even last 20 minutes. Got seated right next to the kitchen and the meat servers didn’t even acknowledge our table regardless of our cards being faced up in green. Our waitress noticed and offered to let them know of any meat requests, which they did not bother to pay attention to. Also, they seem to only serve rare to medium rare, so asking your temperature preference is pointless. Being that we didn’t even get served, we decided to leave and won’t be back again. Plenty of other local steakhouses are much better and worth the money.

My husband and I have been coming here for special occasions for about 7 years now, and every experience is as amazing as the last. The ENTIRE staff is always welcoming and helpful. Though Texas de Brazil is a steakhouse, you dont have to be a huge meat eater to enjoy your experience - everything down to the salad bar and drinks are 5-star. How do you have a 5-star salad bar, you ask? By stocking much more than just salad and toppings, of course! They've got various types of quality greens and dressings, fresh shrimp so craveable that I've since learned to make a similar dish at home so i can enjoy it more often, high-end cheeses, vegetables, and toppings galore. And once you get back to your table, they provide their signature baked bananas (baked until soft with cinnamon sugar), mashed potatoes, and cheese bread (pão de queijo). There's no shortage of meat going around, either. Even picky eaters will find themselves with an assortment of options. From lamb and parmesan-crusted chicken to bacon-wrapped filet mignon and Brazilian sausage, their mouth-watering selections are all available at no additional cost (just pay the regular charge for your Churrasco meal, and everything but drinks and desserts is included!). If you're looking for something specific - an old favorite, perhaps, or a meat cooked to a specific level of done-ness - all you need to do is ask one of the servers and be amazed at how quickly your request is met. What a great place! It was simple but beautiful, the staff was attentive and courteous. The side bar was clean with a variety of mouthwatering dishes it was hard not to load up. As soon as we were ready the waiters started to come by with a variety of meats hot off the grill. After being served 9 different kinds of mouthwatering chicken, beef and pork we had to call it quits. Had to save room for desert. The atmosphere in the restaurant is kind of a rush rush thing. Tables are close together. I've been there twice.The last time I went the server was horrible. Salad bar is delicious, they have a variety of food. Variety of Meats that come to the table, but very salty. The one thing I noticed is that the shrimp that they serve at the table does not come around often. They have a Beautiful bar but drinks are very expensive. All in all, I would say if you've never been, you should definitely check it out.

I strongly suggest people just drive to ATL to go to Fogo de Chao instead. In fact, Texas de Brazil owners should go to see what good service looks like. We have been disappointed twice now. It took 40 minutes to get flank steak when we requested it, and when it came it was medium rare when we specifically asked for medium. Our waiter was nice and apologetic, but the meat service is slow. The meat itself is hardly ever medium even when requested, and then you only get one piece. That wouldn’t be an issue except it takes forever to get another piece. We filled up on potatoes and cheese bread, but that was hardly worth the $100 we paid.

Arrived at 12:15, starting eating about 10 minutes later, the gauchos came out with 5 different meat choices, and it seemed as if we got cut off after maybe 20 minutes of eating. They close at 2 to prep for dinner service, but at 1:30, people were still being seated and everyone was being served but us. Hopefully, it was just an off day, but because of it, it will be some time and a big if before I return.

The only problem I had was that we kept getting the same type of meat served over and over again while I saw other cuts of meat being served closer to the salad table. They had us sit all the way at the back away from everyone. Mind you we passed several empty tables that fit my party on the way in and on the way out we saw the same tables open. And I didnt have issue but a couple of the people had brought up was that they should have had well done or medium well that was actually medium well portions of steak instead of medium rare so often. I hyped this place up to the other party members and we left somewhat cheated. Only reason I gave it a four was that I've been there closer to the salad table and know how good it was. But you guys need to work on making sure all cuts of meat are walked everywhere not just one area. And the back being left with leftovers.

Fantastic place for the price. 100 dollars all you can eat meat of many cuts. Small appetizers on a table in the middle of the room. You can see the chefs in the back through a massive cut out in the wall. The food is so good it's hard to keep from touching the appetizers. The staff is amazing and very attentive. The servers are careful not to cross contaminate any of the food. If you want to impress a date the fancy food and drinks are the way to go. You can see how much care was put into this establishment the effort and hardwork put into it is all very well taken care of. You're close to a lot of other people dining but the position of the tables makes it easy to ignore the others.

If you're willing to pay a little extra ($$$) and experience something a little different, Texas de Brazil in Northfield is the restaurant to try. It's a little upscale and very popular. The website says business-casual dress, but I saw people there in shorts, t shirts and sandals. I was disappointed in some customers for that. I found the restaurant to be kind of exciting because of all the movement: the wait staff was on hand to get you whatever you needed, and gaucho-dressed men were walking around with huge skewers of meat. You have the choice of the huge hot/cold bar with no hot meat, or for a few dollars more can have the hot/cold bar with as much meat as you want. Considering there's about 10 different types of meat, the hot/cold bar and impeccable service, it's well worth the price. I couldn't try everything I wanted to try because there was just so much food, and so little stomach! All the food was absolutely delicious and well prepared. I did get to try some foods I've never had before, such as hearts of palm and fried plantains. I'll ensure I return to taste the food I didn't try. Make sure you call for a reservation, and don't try to book online as it doesn't work. See you there!

Located in Meridian ID near Eagle Rd and Fairview, I find it to be one of the best Restaurants in idaho to eat. Every Staff member makes you feel that they are there just to serve you. I'm kind of a nut for Brazilian steakhouses. And this one is definitely high on my list. All other meats were cooked right and season well. And the salad bar is extremely extensive with lots of great stuff. Our server was very attentive and nice and the price was reasonable for all that you got. If you have the money, and you like meat, this will be a great experience. At 45 dollars, which does not include tax, tip, drinks or dessert, you'll definitely be spending a decent amount if you come here. However, it's all you can eat meat, and good quality meat too. I went at a not particularly busy time, so I don't know how perfectly experience reflects a rush hour, but I was barely able to finish eating the piece of meat I got before the next kind was coming along. Of course, they have a card on your table you can flip when you need a break, so it's not like you'll get overwhelmed if you don't want to be. The meats were quite tasty too, and cooked medium rare. I'm not a huge fan of super fatty meats, so I wouldn't say I 100% liked every single one of them, but you aren't required to taste them all, so you can just ask for the ones you do like. I was quite impressed by the salad bar. They didn't just have random leaves, but a wide variety of foods, like multiple kinds of cheeses, cherry tomatoes, sushi, shrimp, hams, and a couple vegetables like mushrooms, asparagus and roasted bell pepper. Not only was there an extensive collection, but it was beautifully arranged. You know how on websites they tend to make all the foods look better than they really are? Well, if you look at a picture of their salad bar on their website, it looks pretty much exactly like the real thing. I didn't take a picture, but as I said, what you see is what you get. The servers stopped by my table to check on me fairly often, and they were quite friendly as well. I would definitely recommend this place if you like to eat large amounts of meat, and are willing to spend money. If that is not you, then you should probably go elsewhere.

Went to dinner there with our wonderful vendor Filpac. Filpac hosted close to 50 of us for the dinner. Usually with such a large group the service at restaurants isn’t as good due to the large # but that was not the case here. Service was great and the food was even better. Drink glasses stayed full and there was someone slicing meat for my plate until I was full. Great food, service and atmosphere. Thank you for the great service. It was by far the best meal I had during our 2019 annual conference.

I feel like a queen when I come in and love being treated like one. The staff is so kind and so caring for thier customers. The manager makes it a point to come over to your table and introduce himself to you and does everything right for you. Kiet was awsome sauce. Okay. Yikes. My theory is... I have been to a Brazilian steakhouse in Myrtle Beach and I think the two establishments got mixed up in the universe. Here you have almost midtown Nashville where the clientele is... about 200 lbs overweight and just barely had time to tuck their t-shirt into their shorts? The thing is, the meat is only just barely squeaking by what you can objectively call "decent." Not even the salad bar is vying for compliments. Then you have the manager, who seems nice enough, but really just projects the image of a stereotypical car salesman. Perhaps that's a little unfair but it was weird. The staff actually was pretty great here; it was just overall awkward. It was like we were all subconsciously asking me to pretend the food was delicious so that I could just pay and move on to not returning... which obviously I won't.

I went here with friends last week and have not been to this location/restaurant before although I have been to Fogo in the past, both is The US and Brazil. Although or service and main waiter were excellent, the other meat servers seems to be dreading their job and could work on their hospitality. Overall, way thumbs up!

Fantastic service, and although the price point is around double that of tucanos the quality around the board is much higher. The meat is a higher grade and the salad bar has more expensive fancy items you get what you pay for so I still love tucanos however it's like McDonald's compared to a steak house. I would give 5 stars if there was a larger selection of meat and free refills on non alcoholic drinks.

Salad bar was better than the other Brazilian meat restaurants around; however the meat service was slow. It could be because we had a huge event here. The lobster bisque was way too good, like way too good. The rice and beans were prepared well, and the coconut curry was delicious. I will come back again with a smaller group to enjoy the meat.

Loved this place the first time. Went back a second time, didn’t even last 20 minutes. Got seated right next to the kitchen and the meat servers didn’t even acknowledge our table regardless of our cards being faced up in green. Our waitress noticed and offered to let them know of any meat requests, which they did not bother to pay attention to. Also, they seem to only serve rare to medium rare, so asking your temperature preference is pointless. Being that we didn’t even get served, we decided to leave and won’t be back again. Plenty of other local steakhouses are much better and worth the money.

If you like meat, this is heaven... be sure to let them know how you like your meat, for instance, i like a good steak to barely touch the grill... most of what they bring around, by default, is med-well to well done... once i told them, they were happy to bring beautiful chunks of perfectly (barely) cooked steak... so good. Side note, i could live, just on the "salad bar", they had a great selection of fine cheeses and prosciutto, salami, stuffed olives and other great non-salad options.

The meats were delicious as advertised. The amounts of yummy foods on the buffet was equally delicious and the service was top level. They could have cooked the chicken items less since "well done" is not a juicy option for fowl. Overall, a great experience which nearly measured up to the size of the check. Lost one star for value. Gained one star for excellent manager who noticed I had a couscous item on my plate instead of the buckwheat item I intended to get. He saved me from a lot of stomach suffering. (moderate gluten problem)

The food was really great, no complaints. However; the service was pretty bad. It took over ten minutes to get my Moscow mule from the bar. And I didn’t even get it, they were out of ginger beer. I had a something else that the server didn’t bring to me until I asked where it was. Next I wanted another drink and I couldn’t find our server so I had to ask a meat server who then told her. Then we wanted dessert and asked for ice cream on top of the pie. We did not get ice cream or the pie heated. Good food bad service. Worth the money if the service was more attentive.

Go to Rodizio. They have better meat, better service, better tables for groups (round instead of rectangle) and better salad bar. Also they have their killer grilled pineapple. Only thing better about this place is the desserts. Actually, I'm not qualified to compare the desserts because I have never had dessert at Rodizio. I've never had room for it. Our plates sat empty for long periods. I had time to drink my and my wife's water and still be waiting between refills along with everyone else at our table. We ordered a pitcher or limeade and asked for more glasses after only receiving 3. Took 25 minutes for those to arrive. Asked several times for certain meets which had continuously bypassed our green coasters and still never had that option. Waiter got a pass when I smelled his vape pot in the bathroom because at that point I was just over the evening. I can't stress it enough... If you're interested in this type restaurant in Nashville go to Rodizio instead. Doing otherwise would be a mistake. There's a reason there are mentions aplenty of Rodizio in these reviews and none in theirs for Texas de Brazil.

It would be 5 stars but the price is way to high for me to justify frequent trips here which is a bummer because if the price was right (around $30) I'd go once a week. At this price maybe 3 to 4 times a year. $45 is just to much to justify frequent trips to Texas de Brazil over Tucanos even if I do feel this place is way better.

People are great, food and service as well. Got a free dessert for being our Anniversary (Thank you for that). Four things that brought rating to a 3 star: #1- The waiting time was a bit too much, plus bigger parties were getting called before us (party of 2). So if you want to be seated pretty quick, bring the whole family and friends lol. #2- A bit pricey for a Brazilian Steakhouse compared others we have been to (in my opinion). #3- The restrooms needed cleaning and maintenance. Charging that much for the meals you would figure that the whole restaurant would be able to afford couple of employees to maintain the restrooms. #4- Last but not least... The floors were greasy/oily making the floors slippery. Nice experience but would not come back unless the above were addressed.

My Sister reserved a table for us here, We went to a similar restaurant last year and couldn't get a table for all of us on a saturday night. We found the meats absolutely amazing, even my kids who don't eat a lot of things they don't know, tried more than I ever imagined, You couldn't my 9 year old son to stop eating, There were items for everyone. We found the salad bar a bit weak, and They appeared to be short handed on the wait staff, but not on the people running around feeding you meat. We never received dessert, ended up leaving before we had a chance, we were there for close to 3 hours. The reason they are getting the 3 stars is that the food was amazing as far as the meat went.

All of the red meat was ok, and the lamb was good. But the pork/chicken was all super dry and lacked any real flavor. It was also kind of annoying to have to keep remembering to flip the token over if I wanted to have a conversation without being interrupted by someone with a tower of meat. It was pretty good... but given that we have Tucanos... it was overpriced. It is extremely similar to Tucanos so that is what I will be comparing against. I would say the food quality was better but not by a significant amount. The location and atmosphere was better, but again, not by a whole lot... it's still loud. The food variety from the guys walking around was LESS! The salad bar was probably better quality but with less variety... I liked Tucanos lobster bisque quite a bit more. The price is the shocker... it was almost double what Tucanos charges! In the end we had a good time, the service was excellent, the location in the Village is nice, but while we have Tucanos, I doubt we'll come back here.

The food is always consistently amazing if you are a carnivore. The salad bar is also fantastic if you like a little green with your meat. The only downside for me is that if you're looking for a specific meat it can sometimes be difficult to get what you're looking for in a timely manner. We do most special occasions here and we love it. The soda situation is not the best as you get a tiny bottle of coke for $3 without refills. Very nice buffet and the best lobster bisque. My husband enjoys the meat greatly especially the Brazilian specialty cut. Lost a star for the soft drink otherwise everything is amazing. We were given a table in a covered patio once on valentines week and gave us a space heater haha, was an awkward situation. We also take family when they visit and we know it will always be great.
