We were visiting Selma and came by this place for dinner. The restaurant is super cozy with an old barn style, fireplace and rustic interior. Service was great and fast. Seafood gambo, catfish and oysters were fantastic. Super fresh and just melted inside the mouth. I'd say somewhat pricey for the area it is in but the quality is definitely worth every penny.

A well oiled machine! Upon entering, the hostess was on it with a wonderful greeting. Water was poured, the bread came out, order was taken, Paul (the owner) greeted us, salads came out, and dinner was served promptly after the salads were finished. Paul thanked us for dining at his establishment. The ribeye steak was perfectly medium rare with the fat melting in your mouth. The fried green tomatoes were on point and the mushrooms and onions were delicious. Thank you for a wonderful meal and an even better dining experience. Cheers and TALLY-HO!

The service was good but the food just wasn't up to the level it used to be. The steak I got wasn't the fattest I've ever gotten in my life... but it was definitely in the top 5. The cooking staff clearly isn't doing any hand picking of the meat coming in.

The food is usually pretty good, but it's hit or miss.. sometimes a great experience, other times they take forever to serve you (1+ hour). It's in Selma, not many decent places to sit down and eat, so it's worth a try, you might get lucky and get them on a good day.

Quaint restaurant, we had a great time! The Fried Green Stack was the bomb (amazing). Other dishes we had were good and presented well. Servers were friendly and somewhat attentive. My mom had a coffee and asked for a refill 3 times before it was filled. She had water so it wasn't that big of a deal. Over all a great spot just needs a little more polishing on the service. We will be back.

Fair....Was in town for the first time and Googled this spot. The food was good, but they have to give full disclosure on all the stuff they put in the food. I don't eat meat and they put Bacon in my food. My head starting hurting and I felt bad. I checked my food and inquired and they confirmed Bacon was in it. The waiter had the Chef remake it and it was delish. That issue and the heavy set Female/Host left a a kind of indifferent experience for me. She was not welcoming to my mother and I. However, she was more pleasnt with the guests that came after us.

One and done. Thought it would be a nice place to meet up with 6 friends to sit and unwind. Quiet? No....place to talk? Negative. Food? Terrible. Going back again? NEVER. Went to another room to eat a meal. Heat was on probably 75. Meal came out , the ribeye overcooked the potato same broccoli was way undercooked. We were sitting there after the terrible meal to be asked by the hostess to move out so they could close. Remanded back to the overcrowded lounge with the loud music. As far as the lounge? If you want way to many people piled in a small area and loud music...this is the place for you...just no lounging.
