Chocolate Shake with Malt added. Made of frozen custard so it’s rich and creamy. I’m always on the hunt for a great chocolate malt and this one doesn’t disappoint. It’s not watery, doesn’t have chunks of ice in it. I imagine this is like chocolate malts in the 50’s.

Lived up to the high expectations I had. The portions are smaller than you'd expect for the price but the taste is worth it. The shack burger is obviously delicious but would recommend trying the portobello burger as well. Fries were good as well. Quick service.

The cheeseburger with gluten free bun was fantastic! They care if you have a gluten allergy and will make sure that your food is not cross contaminated which alone is worth 5 stars. It’s hard finding a burger place that will actually do this so I appreciate it greatly. Very friendly customer service also.

I just experienced my first time at shake shack and it was very disappointing. I am willingly to pay whatever amount for a great meal and service. But the food was under par and the milkshake was already hot! The worse was the service and management. Will not return

Definitely enjoyed my experience here. The restaurant was packed, but the employees kept the chaos organized and the line moving. We still were able to find seating, even though so many people were there. I had the vegetarian sandwich and fries, and they were very, very good. I would definitely go back here again.

Amazing! The burgers taste like they just came off the grill in the backyard back in my suburban days. The cheese fries are 100% cravable which is what brought me in to the restaurant last night. The customer service is top notch, Brittany handled my order with the utmost care, accuracy, and kindness. They keep the dining room super clean with these wipes that I absolutely must find for my own kitchen at home. I have never had trouble finding the a place to sit so dont let what appears to be a large crowd deter you.

Bad service. I know it's fast food, but I don't like spending $20 on lunch when certain employees are rude. These employees clearly do not want to be there. Also, what is the point of the annoying, beeping, vibrating buzzer going off if I still have to wait for 5 minutes to get my food/shake? This place needs to get its act together. I have been to a Shake Shack out of state. That was a great experience. This place in Denver was completely different....but they had the logo and decor just like a real Shake Shack.

Been waiting to try this place and it did not disappoint. Burger is simple with a bun that is super soft and juicy meat patty. The chicken sandwich was just spicy enough and the fries were myfavorite, crinkle cut. Shake was phenomenal also, custard like flavor. Need to go again. Only issue is the price, $25 for four items... ouch.

Honestly not great. Why is there so much hype about this place? Came thinking this was Steak & shake. The wait was around 15 min and wasnt even fully packed. All for a soggy, small burger that i didnt enjoy. Really no better than what you would make on a grill. Had to eat it without ketchup too because the pump was out. They didnt seem to care or try to fill it either. The shake was OK but $13 for a mini burger and a shake? Go to a real burger joint

Chicken and mushroom sandwiches....to die for!! YUM! Their fries are really good as well! I still have yet to try their shakes. Great atmosphere. Large space. Nice customer service. Only thing is there’s only 1 stall for the men’s bathroom. Great addition to DTLA!

The food was good. If you get the Shack Attack chocolate concrete you better like chocolate. It is very very rich. I liked it so much that I forgot to take a picture of it. The fries are very good. I think it is the way they do the crinkles that makes them unique. The burger is decent. The hot dog is nothing to write home about but it was tolerable. I would say the food is worth a visit. When you come into the store for the first time don’t be surprised if you don’t get a greeting from a person. You place your order on a computer screen and pay with a card-reader. They will text you when your order is ready. Both times they notified me that the food was ready it was a false alarm and I had to stand waiting for a few minutes. It was no big deal but the whole thing is very impersonal. Some people like that so it is what it is.

GOOD FOOD- NOT ENOUGH SEATING True, I went on a high traffic day - SATURDAY- and in the summer- but there were so many frustrated people looking for seats that this was definitely impacting the dining experience of everyone else lucky enough to have a seat. In the 30 minutes we were there, we were aoproached 3 times by people asking us if "we are leaving soon". Several other people were just scanning all of the tables waiting to grab a table the second someone left. The food is reasonably priced. We ordered Classic Cheese burgers $5.79 but they are small and don't come with frys. Burgers were quite tasty. They also have a free self service water station with small plastic cups so you can have all the free water you want. When you order, you are given a buzzerthat vibrates when it's time to pick up your food - a GREAT feature with such a crowded place. Restrooms are only accessible with the password at bottom of receipt and are very small for all of the customers. There is seating outside and inside. Overall, I think this would be a great place to try on a weekday, but unless you are willinh to wait and fight for a table ,I would not recommend visiting on a weekend summer day.

Pretty delicious as far as food is concerned. Actually all the credit to the food, and none to the service. My buzzer didn't work and they said they called but they weren't calling anyone. You could tell the service could care less. You could also see the workers in the back chatting and on their phones. Really sucks to see that they just didn't seem to care.

They have WINE! And juicy, succulent tasty food. Good for families. Can get crowded yet this is one of the non-vegan, carb friendly, fill yo belly an feel good type places in Hollywood. The people who work there are very friendly and cheerful. Outdoor seating as well.

Everything I've tried is good! Cheese fries are a must. I only wish they had more sauce options for the burgers because my kids didn't really like the Shack Sauce. Also, I didn't see chili peppers available but I also didn't ask. It's pricey, which is why I don't go often, especially when buying for a family of four. The parking at this location sucks (it's DTLA after all). You're lucky if you can find street parking but you have to pay the parking meter. If not be prepared to pay at least $6 for those cash only parking lots that are all over DTLA.

Small overpriced shakes. Will not be back. Next time we want burgers and shakes will go to Johnny Rockets or Mooyah.

By far the worst customer service I have ever received in the Downtown location. The cashier had attitude and instead of helping me and giving me my milkshake, she was talking to her coworker while I was right in front of them. Keep in mind that it took 10 minutes to receive my milkshake.

More like Shake Sh...you know what I mean. This place is just gross and disappointing. How does this even have a 4.3 star rating? The burgers taste like Hamburger Helper and Spam had a baby, and then the baby burger was cooked on a grill at an abandon park using old dirty clothes found nearby as your kindling. I don't know...maybe people like that? The only good thing at this place were the fries and soda. Also, the service was pretty fast considering they were slammed. I do not recommend. This place is over priced and not worth your money.

Some burgers at other places are loaded with ingredients that can make the main focus drift away from the actual beef. This place is the exact opposite of that. At Shake Shack, the meat is the star. The Angus beef just has so much flavor that makes it almost irresistible, and the vegetables only compliment the flavor. Perfect portion size. Burgers are a little pricier than most fast food places, but the food is so delicious that it most definitely will be worth your time.

Put in an online order to be picked up at 6:15pm. Arrived at 6pm, waited until 6:25before I asked about my order. Had my order sitting in a corner, never called my name. Food was cold and shake was melted to the point it wasn't even cold. Should'nt have had to pay $21 for cold burger fries and milk slop. Second bad experience at this spot won't be returning.

Best burgers in LA. Period. No questions. I have tried the Shack Burger and the Smoke Shack. Both are amazing. Can't wait to eat there again before I fly out. The shakes are delicious too. Make sure you try a Shake Shack if you have never before and you will be pleasantly surprised. A little on the expensive side as they do not do combos and each item has to be ordered separately. However the taste justifies the price.

Food is great, but miniature. That means you have to get two burgers that equal one normal sized one. Fancy toppings, everything fresh and made when ordered. Very busy place, good for them. Not great for you. Order on an app and get it delivered. Feels hectic, very small space for ordering and pickup. Where people enter the restaurant is also the same space they pick up. We're they NOT planning on being busy? But they are busy because they use real ice cream in their shakes, and have many choices for all the individual ethnically fused taste buds out in LA. They leave no detail untouched. They have top buns, condiments and nothing is blah. Your taste buds will be happy. Great location. The open block tight seating leaves much to be desired. Feels like a university cafe instead of the higher price point gourmet shop that they are selling. Buy, just eat elsewhere.

The drive thru line didn't move smoothly. I ordered 1 kid's meal that order was incorrect. And due to the fact they have the doors locked I had to walk up on another customer in the drive thru getting his food to get the burger for the kid's meal. I ordered the $5 JBC meal. The burger wasn't the right one( should've checked that before I left) the fries was cold and the nuggets. Very disappointing experience at this Wendy's location.

Hardly anyone in there and for good reason, waited forever for my food with a buzzer to let me know when food was ready and after about 20 mins they came over and said your food is ready. While I would love to give this place 5 stars, I am unable to due to the fact that there was clearly about 3/4 inch of empty space in the top of my shake. The burger was amazing. I love the Smoke Shack burger. Just the right amount of spicy kick to wake me up when I am feeling sluggish in the late afternoon. I will still return to this location to see if service does improve.

It is conveniently located near Pantages on Hollywood Blvd. It has a nice outdoor patio that is heated and indoor seating as well. I also like the regular lemonade. The restaurant has alcoholic beverages for those who like to have a drink with their burger. They also have shakes and desserts.

Burgers were OK. Ordered a double shackburger. One patty was well done and the other was medium. Parking is horrendous in this area. For the price, I expected better since everyone raves about how good their burgers are. I do give them credit for quality of the burger in itself but overall I give it a 3 star.

It’s overpriced, slow, and has poor service. The food was pretty good, but no better than 5 guys, where you’ll pay less and get more. Ordered a shake from their app, was told to come in 5 mins and they’d text when ready. 30 mins later when I told them to just cancel it they pull it out and said mobile service went down. Really?? It magically went down right after they used it to receive the order, and not one of them had the ability to send a text?? I’ll never go back.

Burgers do not meet expectations. I work in DTLA and was so excited to hear that Shake Shack opened a store around the block. I've ordered a few times, always for pick up through the app, and have tried the cheeseburger, spicy chicken burger, and mushroom burger. They were all ok at best, filling but not delicious-delicious. One time, the bread was cold and soggy (fridge cold not room temp). Fries are good and plenty. The shakes and custards on the other hand are wonderful. If you're counting calories, split a serving into 2 or 3. Burgers were disappointing but definitely stop by for the sweets! Plenty of seats but crowded during lunchtime. Street parking available. Garage parking on the same building, not sure if they validate. Staff friendly and efficient.

I thought it was really good. I hadn't been to a shake shack before and hear some mixed things about this prior to ordering. I had a large order from the office I was trying to coordinate, tried calling the store and they don't take phone in, to go orders. They pointed me to the app. The app has a limit on the amount of things you can order at once and I had a bunch of items that were MENIALLY customized (no pickles etc) so that didn't work either. Order timed out and I would have had to place 3 orders and that's too much. I showed up with order printed instead. Counter person took order and punched it into the system in no time flat (THANKS!) and it was all ready to go in less than 10 minutes. Food was REALLY good and although they have some REALLY good to go packaging for the sandwiches (long, coffin style boxes that are super well made) they have some other to go packaging that is not so travel friendly. Most of the food was moderately warm when I got back to the office. All-In-All - a good experience. I'll be back at some point to dine in as I am sure it's much better.

This is the second time in the past two weeks that I have come here after 9p and you have to sit in drive thru and wait 10-15min before anyone takes your order even after we saw someone stick their head out of the drive thru window. While we waited at least 5 car drove off during the time it took us to get our food. Once someone finally came on the drive thru intercom, they said the system had to reboot and it would be another 15-20 min, right after he gets off the intercom a lady said can I take your order. They are always out of something, tonight it was chocolate frosty and last time it was baked potatoes. The the manager was the person taking our order and serving us, guess what. No hospitality what so ever just rudeness. The only reason I come here is because it is the closest one to my house, ugh. Very disappointed!

As a vegetarian that does not like mushrooms, I have to say the Shroom Burger tastes amazing and does not seem like a mushroom dominant dish at all. Pairs great with the cheese fries as well :)

The 'Bacon Cheeseburger ' with fries was pretty good. The three star rating comes from the fact that I got a cheeseburger even though I have cheeseburgers(haha). It didn't matter in the moment because I planned on pouring peanut butter on the burger, the cashier told me that they no longer offered peanut butter which made me sad. Without the peanut butter on my cheeseburger, that lead to the 3 star rating. The fries on the other hand was very good! I never go for crinkle fries, but Shake Shack made them so good! The crunch and seasoning was on point and I loved every second of the fries. I would definitely come back and instead get a chicken sandwich instead of a bacon cheeseburger.

Not worth the price. I spent $50 on what was essentially three combo meals but they don't offer combos so everything had to be ordered separate. This is a burger joint masquerading as a five star restaurant. The worst part is the burgers aren't even that good not bad have you, just not good enough to justify the cost. If you want a good burger for a reasonable price do yourself a favor and don't come here. It was clean and the staff were nice though.

Great place, it is a stop my wife and I always go to when we take take trips to Las Vegas. The burgers patties are thin roadside style so if you have a big appetite go for a double. Beware the chopped cherry peppers have a kick to them so if you do not like spicy food get them on the side or avoid. The local dish just for us in Alabama.... Big Bobs cheese fries, topped with bbq, damn shame they don’t get to have this at other locations. Be forewarned Friday and Saturday this place will be packed and there will be a wait. Pro tip order ahead with the Shack App on either Apple or the Google play store.

Was given a double that was messy and wasn’t even full, filled about 3/4 of the cup or less. The burger bun was so soggy it was as if it had been sitting in water before being prepared. 1/2 of the items that were supposed to be on the burger were outside the paper cover or mashed into the corner of it. Very sloppy and definitely not worth returning

The chicken was delicious. That was all that was good though. My daughter's burger was over cooked, the cheese fries were just ok. The shakes were over priced. I ordered a purple cow float and was given a cup with a little bit of ice cream and a lid for more than $5. I asked if I was supposed to put the soda in myself (yes) which we all know that if you try to add soda after the ice cream in a float it's a fizzy mess. Since it was supposed to be grape soda I used that but it ended up tasting like children's medicine. I was extremely disappointed and threw it away. My daughter and i love grape soda and she wouldn't drink it either. Tried to buy their featured flavor shake to get the medicine taste ot if my mouth but they were out.

Custard is my jam, and coming from New Jersey where it is a standard, it's been a struggle to find a good location that serves custard style ice cream deserving of the title. The manager is wonderful and always right in the expo area, or out and about in the dining area. I am a regular customer, as well as a food delivery contractor for most of the delivery companies in the area, and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious burger or some custard style ice cream. ❤️

Nice location with friendly service. Shake shack always has great burgers. The service is what made this location stand out. I ordered a lettuce burger and asked to be noted for egg allergy. So no sauce. When the burger came out, I could see there was cross contamination from the sauce. I mentioned it to the employees and they happily took care of it and made it right. They even apologize for the inconvenience. Great job doing the right thing and taking care of the customer.

Really good burgers. And I mean REALLY good, but service is slow. And I mean REALLY slow. While standing in line you’ll probably see 4 or 5 Grub Hub drivers and takeout customers come in and pick up their meals ahead of you. They need an efficiency expert to help them manage in-store customers and take-out folks separately. Because the entire dine-in experience is onerous and vexing. If watching poor operations unfold before your eyes puts your patience on tilt, then save the stress and go elsewhere.

Sister wanted to try it because of past ratings as one of the best chain burgers. Ordered the one regular burger, one chicken burger, fries, and fries with cheese, and two shakes. This was over #30. Its too expensive for what you get. The shakes are $5.50 but it is half the size of any other place. They are very good but not $5 good. The burger is nothing special. The chicken was good. But for $6 to $7 its not a value meal or even a meal that deserves those kind of prices. These are not large sandwiches. You may leave hungry if your a big eater. Nevertheless people seem to be enjoying themselves. In and Out or Habit burgers are better and certainly a better value.

The Lyft driver suggested I try this restaurant because I had a taste for a good burger. The service was excellent from the young man that took my order. The service took awhile, but you can’t expect it to be fast because it is located on Hollywood Boulevard. The food tasted great, the burger had awesome flavor, and everything was hotbed fresh (which is always impressive when it’s at a burger spot). I had a single burger add bacon with fries.

It's been a few weeks since my experience, but thinking back, I'm reminded of greasy food. Burger was okay, while the fries tasted good they are too flimsy for dipping, the custard shake tasted and felt like soft serve. The building is of inefficient design and provides awkward interaction between people entering and exciting. We could smell the bathroom. Bathroom equipment needed attention. Staff were friendly and helpful. I wouldn't recommend Shake Shack as a place to get a good burger.

I was looking forward to eating at Shake Shack since I did not have the opportunity to eat there while I was in New York and Las Vegas. So, I was delighted to hear that they were opening one at the Summit. I do love hamburgers as I am sure the majority of those who go are the same. I ordered the SmokeShack Double. It was tasty but a bit too salty due to the cherry peppers. It did not seem spicy but more like it was pickled so it gave the burger an overwhelming salty taste. I probably should have just ordered the Hamburger Double because I like the balance lettuce, tomatoes and onions give the overall taste of a burger. The fries were good as I do like crinkle fries; however, I prefer my fries a bit more cooked and thus a bit more crispy. The restaurant was packed. The drink station was tiny compared to the amount of customers that were trying to get drinks. At the time when I went with my family, they were out of root beer for root beer floats. We sat outside in one of those bench tables. One of the faux wood top was loose. The bench was built where there was a barrier at the end which made it inconvenient to sit. It made the place feel very cheap and it seemed out of place for the Summit. I would probably go back again just to try the Hamburger Double and ShackBurger; however, my favorite hamburger place is still Five Guys. They give you the ability to build the burger you want and the fries are good with a generous amount of it. Another place with great burgers and fries is Johnny Rockets which I would go over Shake Shack. I give this place 2.5 Stars but this site doesn't do half stars so 3 Stars because it was underwhelming in regards to their burger, restaurant size, and overall experience. 2nd x there Sept 9= We went on a Sunday around 4pm. They were not busy with plenty of tables available with a steady flow of customers trickling in. However, they only had one cashier working out of two cashiers possible. All three kiosks were out of order so it took a long time waiting in line to place an order. There were 13 other employees in and around the kitchen area that I could see. 4 to 5 employees stood around doing nothing. Only 1 really stayed active cleaning tables off. Over 10 mins later, they finally got the 2nd cashier up and running. The manager seemed to have a hard time making use of the employees and I could hear one giving her a hard time. All the employees were in their late teens or early 20's and some seemed to lack any good work ethic. This was all observed while waiting in line and we were like the 4th group waiting around 15 mins to place our order. We ordered the Hamburger with lettuce, tomatoes and onions. It was not too big or too small in my opinion. I had the double and it was good. The krinkle fries were good and crisp. We opted for no salt and seasoned it with black pepper. I like how the krinkle fries capture the pepper unlike straight fries. In the end, the ambience, size of the restaurant, employees and layout of the interior is so very lacking. If Shake Shack is supposed to be fine casual dining, I would say this place is anything but and just out of place for the Summit. To me this place has the feel of a place like a fair or a food stand so if you take the Shake Shack name off the place and give it some generic burger joint name, that is what it feels like to me. Again, Johnny Rockets which is close by has better ambience, food, employees and overall experience. Cowfish is also a whole lot better for fine casual. I am changing this from 3 stars to 2 stars.

SO disappointed after all the hype! A teeny, tiny burger with a greasy patty that falls apart. We also ordered 10 pieces of chicken nuggets and they gave us 8 nasty, over-cooked pieces with an awful taste to them. Gross. The lemonade is supposedly fresh but tastes like Country Time. One of my worst dining experiences in years. No one in my party was happy. I truly don't get why people like it. Yuck. Still starving after spending a ton of money. Have to go get more food. Hopefully, real food this time.

We already have plans to revisit the very cool neighborhood, we just won't be revisiting this location of Shake Shack. But there are tons of other restaurants and breweries and the street art is second to none we've seen in Denver so you should at least head down to the area and check it out.

Shake Shack My family visited the Shake Shack at the Summit on Friday, 2/22. It was so crowded we had to wait to get inside to order. Also every table was full and no empty tables were available. People were standing around with food waiting for others to leave. It took about 10 minutes to order and we finally got a table. The burgers, fries and shakes were very good, but not really worth the hassle of the crowd. I can drive down the road to Freddy's for basically the same food without the crowd. I doubt I will go out of my way to go back.

This is the best! Had cheeseburger and fries but also we sampled the chicken tenders which were flavorful, hot from the pot and moist. This is a cant go wrong place that we go to before heading down the street to the Pantages Theater. One of the other things we noticed was how staff was immediately on cleaning the tables with disinfecting towlettes. Lastly, when we got there there were a few ahead of us in line. Once seated we noticed how long the line was but soon there was no line again. They staff adequately to keep customers moving. Good job shake shack.

I was told this place is comparable to In-N-Out. Well it definitely is not. But it's still not a bad option. The menu is more complex than In-N-Out which is great for people who like more options, and I did like the crinkle fries more than the fries offered at In-N-Out, but the burger I ordered was literally just meat and bun with some peppers. There were no lettuce/tomato/onion or even pickles mentioned or even offered. It's one thing to not want them, but it's another not to even offer to make that choice. I was a little disappointed by that. I'd go back to this place again and just be more specific when ordering, but overall I am a true Cali girl and In-N-Out will win over most places compared.

I visited this location this past weekend. I had the Shack Burger, fries, and Abita draft rootbeer. The burger and the Root Beer were VERY tasty! The fries, as stated in other reviews, are just basic, bland crinkle fries. I'm not sure why everyone is bashing the burgers though; It was very good! Service here was also great, and the food was ready in a timely manner, even though the restaurant was very busy. The ONLY thing I "dislike" about this place is the price - I paid $14 for a single burger, fries, and a root beer. Would recommend if you're wanting to treat yourself!

I was under the assumption that the burgers were supposed to be “amazing”. They are small and not worth the asking price. If you’re a guy with a decent appetite, double up on the patties or drop even more coin and get 2 burgers. For 2 shack burgers 2 fries and 2 shakes we spent $31. The reason I dropped 1 star on this review is because of the service. Maybe we caught them on an off day, but the staff was not inviting and did not care that we were first timers in their restaurant. To top it all off, they hand you a buzzer that goes off when your food is done-this is fine. However they handed us a defective buzzer that never went off, and after waiting for 30 mins I went to check on the order and they had our food in a tray to the side of the pick up counter (not under the heat lamps, but where it wasn’t visible). When I asked the cashier for our food status she states, “oh, here it is”, takes our buzzer, drops it in a box and just stands there awkwardly. No apologies no attempt to try and make things right from anybody. The crew already looked like they were having a bad day and I wasn’t in the mood to engage in an argument seeing as how I was hungry. Bottom line, not better than in n out burger, it’s in a horrible location in regards to parking, just as expensive as 5 guys and totally not worth it. I would recommend 5 guys over this any day. You’re pretty much paying to be “cool” and hang out in a “modern” burger joint. PS-I threw the in n out burger comparison because that’s what drew my attention to this place, “better than in n out”. Not even remotely close.

I don’t usually write reviews when I’m eating out at regular places, but now I have to. It’s shake shack, burgers are great, shakes are amazing. Consistent everywhere. But now, at this particular branch, while I was in line, there was an Asian tourist who was being served by a staff named Allison (her name was on my receipt). Understandably, the Asian tourist had trouble communicating her orders to Allison. She tried her best to let Allison know what she wanted by pointing out on the menu. Allison however was being so rude and rolling her eyes, speaking to the tourist in the most horrible way. Not only that, but she had the nerves to actually talk about the Asian tourist to her colleague right in front of her. Now Allison, this is a message for you and I hope you read it. Don’t work in a tourist hotspot if you can’t handle tourists. Don’t work in hospitality if you can handle people. Don’t work anywhere because your attitude is terrible. Now you should also know that I have a video of you being horrible to that customer. Obviously I’m not going to post it anywhere now but I hope your managers do something about you.

Cooked perfectly and well-seasoned The fries were surprisingly really good and super crispy. The custard I ordered was pretty soupy (Culver's or Freddy's is better) and the cookie chunks were too big, but I still liked it.

Except that it had a couple pieces of cellophane /plastic it something that I sucked up through the straw. After flying in from London and being awake for 20 hours, this is exactly what I needed. Heavenly fries, a damn good burger and AMAZING strawberry-mint lemonade. My drink was missing from the order when I went to collect, but the server didn't hesitate to make it when I pointed this out. Later when I'd finished the drink, another server came out to me and offered me a free refill of my $4 lemonade. I don't know if this is normal in shake shack or just because of the earlier small mistake, but I was thrilled.

If you like a burger that reminds you of a homemade or diner style burger, this is the place for you. I tried the double shack burger with cheese fries. The burger was fairly large and the cheese fries were the star. Crispy on the outside, with a pillow-y center topped with plenty of melted cheddar cheese sauce. I placed the order to go so the cheese was provided on the side. If you dine in, they will top the fries instead. I also tried the strawberry oreo milkshake at the insistence of the door greeter. It was really rich and creamy and was topped with ground oreo cookie pieces and whipped cream. It wouldn't be right if I didn't make you aware of their pricing. For 3 double shack burgers, 1 single shack burger, 2 regular fries, 2 cheese fries, 1 milkshake and 1 lemonade, I spent about $53. You can find a cheaper burger around town but if you want the experience, please stop by. Really kind staff also make this a great place to add to your foodie list.

I was surprised by my reaction to the visit today. Ordered the double bacon cheeseburger and cheese fries. From 1st bite of the crispy patties, to the chopped cherry peppers and "crispy" bacon, it was a very "comfortable" experience. I was not overwhelmed by an inedible giant sandwich, and although it had mayo, their secret sauce was palatable. Add the fries smothered in their cheesy sauce and I call it a winner. I'll be back!

The flavor tsunami I was pummeled with brought me great joy. Truly. They have no service to speak of, you order and pay at the counter, after which you pick up your order at the same counter. It's the same as any other fast food establishment, or the majority thereof. The prices are high in comparison, and portion sizes are much smaller. That being said, do not be dissuaded from frequenting this establishment. I would wager, with the flavor and richness I experienced, that caloric intake is reasonably equal to others. I would, and this is just me personally, consider eating here an occasional treat. It's not sustenance, it's a treat in my less than humble opinion.

I love the shack shack! Best burgers, cheese fries, and shakes ever! This place is always crowded but they are well staffed and keep the line moving. The only problem is that the seating area is woefully inadequate. It is hard to find a place to sit! Get your food to go and then try to find a place to sit on one of the planter areas outside. The Pantages theatre is only a block away so stop by if you are headed to an event. I am getting hungry just thinking about the great food. Give it a try! As always your mileage may vary.

This location is excellent. Everyone is always very friendly and the service is fast even when they are extremely busy. And the food of course is awesome. I especially like the double burger with Swiss cheese and onions.

Really good food! Pretty fast. Love their shakes. Only thing I had an issue with was you have to ask for fries. Even if you order a drink you have to also order the fries. It was a bit expensive for burgers and shakes...but the cheese fries make up for it! I would highly recommend it.

This is not a 5 star restaurant :) but for a fast food/burger place, it is 5 stars. I'm not sure if many of the ingredients that they use are more fresh or better quality but they taste like it. I really like their fresh juices. Lemonade etc..

Way over-rated and hyped. The burgers are average at best, and while the shakes are good, the pricing on them of over $5 (more than a regular burger) is ridiculous. Best part of the meal was the mayonnaise with some herbs added, great for dipping the fries in. Better to spend your $ at another burger place.

This was my second time in a Shake Shack. Was I excited? Yes. Did I get more excited that they had beer? YES! Then the food came. I think I paid like $20 for all of this, which wasn't really worth the food I got. It wasn't amazing, and I left kind of sad. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't like $20 good, either. Next time I'll just find somewhere else.

Never been to a Shake Shack, but I enjoyed my first visit here. This Denver spot is fairly large and busy, but I still got my food in a fairly timely manner. I got the Smoke Shack burger, fries, and a cookies & cream shake. Burger was good, just a bit floppy and soggy. Maybe that's what Shake Shack's bit is, but after waiting for a good 15 minutes I was hoping for something less messy. Fries and shake were real good though! I'll probably be back, we'll see!

Terrible service at the drive thru. We waited 10 minutes while watching employees smoking and playing at the back door. No one bothered to tell us the drive thru was out of order. We finally pulled forward and the cashier told us it was out of order. She was very unapologetic and acted like she didn't care that we had waited so long. Where was the manager ? How can you run a shift like that ?

Best burger place in the United States. Extremely juicy meat, with an awesome crust that adds an extra layer of flavour and texture. The standard burger with meat cheese and sauce is just perfect. The fries are also amazing, and the fact that they have their own beer produced by Brooklyn shows a lot how amazing this place is.

Burgers were actually good but they were kinda pricey 32$ for two combos? Would have been worth it if the employees weren’t rude. I stood at the register waiting to order as two employees were having a convo ignoring me, they got genuinely mad because I was going to order. Didn’t greet me or anything just stared at me and said “WHAT!?” He was giving attitude to everyone else too. Not a pleasant experience at all

Great burgers. Had the smokeshack and a large lemonade. Really great burger, as expected. Have always heard the fries aren't great so I skipped them. Definitely didn't need them with the burger and drink though. Didn't take terribly long to get our food either. Indoor seating sucks. They put tables absolutely everywhere. In corners. Four inches from the exit. Seriously California. Stop putting a one and a half foot by one and a half foot table with two chairs that doesn't match any of the rest of your seating right by the door with only six inches of chair space. Just, don't put that table out, at all. Outdoor seating is excellent, and there's plenty of it.

I Hear that is got the best rating for quality of meat, and food supply compared to the other fast food joints, and it shows in the taste. I would have to say the chicken sandwich was one of the best ones I've ever had, just a hair below Honor Bar in BV hills and that is more of a sit down place. It was remodeled and felt new and fresh, highly recommended if your in Downtown LA.

The burgers are fresh, hearty, and delicious that has me coming back every time I'm in Birmingham. The Shack Stack is my go-to burger although you really can't go wrong with any of their choices here.

People working are very hard worker. They cook a lot of burger in short time. Refill for colorful drinks but not for shake. Name of place shake shack but no offer free refill for shake. I sad. Eagerly anticipated eating at the new Shake Shack in the Summit on 280. My sister ate there earlier this week and said it was good. They open at 11:00 a.m. and we arrived at 11:15 on today (09/01/18). The line was almost out the door. I suggest you look over the menu online before you come. If you are wanting to dine in have someone in your party secure your seats first. The newness has not worn off so securing your seat is the first priority. They did not have any concretes because their machine was broken and they had sold their last custard. How are you out of custard at 11:15 a.m. when you open at 11:00 a.m.? This screams poor management. Now to the food. The burgers are great. The fries are good. However, the price does not match the food. We paid $60.00 for 4 burgers, 4 fries, and 4 drinks. Say, what? Steak n Shake, and Freddy's are better options when you consider the price. On Friday's at Perry's Restaurant I can get 4 signature pork chops for this price. Also, if their dessert machine would have been working this would have pushed the bill upward of $80.00. Shake Shack I think not. Shake Down is the more appropriate name!

Tasty burgers, crispy, crinkle cut fries, and made to order shakes and concretes. Not quite as good as the original in Manhattan, but cheaper than a plane ticket.

Shake shack is like living like a lobster. It's great to be a lobster because you have big claws and you live in the sea. But also you're delicious and being delicious has the downside of wanting to be eaten. It's nice in shake shack though. It's high end high priced burgers. The wiggly fries remind me of McCoy's oven chips and the shakes are exuberantly overpriced. The patrons are good looking, it's no McDonald's. The whole experience is far removed from the lugubrious outside. It's a 4 star cuddle.

I walked into shake shack this afternoon, excited to try out something I've been hearing about for so long, but also weary of it's low rating. Well, it only took me about 30 seconds to figure out how it got it's rating. The place was dead, there was no line, about 10 employees standing around, but it took almost 5 minutes for someone to even acknowledge my presence. This was only to inform me that they were not yet ready to take my order. After another few minutes I was finally able to order, and then managed to sit down, only to see the managers just hanging out together at a table. There was not one employee in this establishment with any sense of urgency. I felt like if I had just walked away (which I seriously considered), the employees would have been happy to see me go. So, I will not be returning here. I urge anyone else considering it, don't bother with this place. Oh, the food was fine, but NOT worth the price.

Holy moly. 40 bucks for 2 burgers, 2 fries, and 2 small (I guess you could call them shakes) to go (with tax). The buns were good though. The place was a madhouse for what's basically the same thing as an A&W for pretentious people. I don't understand the appeal and can't justify going back. Also, I ordered through their app. Said they would text me when ready. We never got a text back so I finally went up there. Server said "aw your fries are already cold!" and had to give us a new batch of Ore Ida fries. So order through the app at your peril.

I’ve eaten Shake Shake in the north and idk what it is but it always seems better up north. It took a little long to get the food but everything was fresh and good, so I didn’t mind the wait. I just didn’t like their floor. It was super slippery and hard to walk on. It was wet and I felt like I was gonna fall at any moment.

The beef has a good flavor to it so I can give It 3 stars. The order process was ok. It took a very long time to get our meals. We asked for Green Chile on the side. It came with chilies on the burger and surprise... pickled non roasted green chile. The skin was hard to chew and added an unpleasant flavor. The shake was perfectly thick and delicious. I hope they get another chance but the hubby says no.
