This Restaurant corresponds to the category of Korean restaurant.
If only this place existed in Bend Oregon would I die happy. This is very good Korean food! I hold this one high when comparing to traditional style Korean food. I've ate at plenty of Korean places over the years and I personally had to compliment the Korean cook. She knows how to cook! 감사합니다
Fantastic food, service, and environment.
Only place I know to get Korean food
Food was decent
Very good food, friendly staff. Great change of pace from American food.
Great little place, food was awesome, first time having Korean cuisine and it was great!!
For real Korean food, with good appetizers and kimchi. Fine main courses. Probably best Korean in town. Capable wait staff.
Place seems clean but holy cow is it over priced. Food isn't all that great, I thought it was average, I order Korean pancake, and LA ribs
Great food. Great service. Large portions. The bento boxes for the kids made me a little jealous.
I realy enjoy seoul korean food!!! david that is korean BBQ place not seoul
Really good, authentic food. Casual and very reasonably priced.
Great food
This is a delicious shining star in the wilderness. Expect slow service, but the wait staff is friendly and accommodating. The food is fresh, savory and well seasoned with an excellent variety to accommodate different tastes. I do not believe there were American items as alternatives, but why would you want to do that. Introduce the kids to a world flavor. The sushi rolls are clean and flavorful and I had the Bento box And the Dashi sauce could have used more bonito flakes or katsuobushi for added flavor. It was a little bland for my taste. I also would’ve liked a side dish of pickled ginger or kimchi. Maybe that was a side order, I’m not sure. Keep up the good work.
Overpriced
My family and I were on the way from Jackson Hole, WY to Big Sky, MT. We stopped by Seoul and were pleasantly surprised by the authenticity of the food. The Galbi is excellent. The Soon Tofu was tasty and authentic. The only "bad" food was the udon, which I don't recommend. The Kimchi pancake was tasty and spicy. I love it.
The food was fantastic but the service was the WORST I’ve ever gotten. I’ve never had bad service here but this time we had Clara as our server she maybe filled our drinks once. She NEVER refilled our Bonchon and never checked in on us. We had to grab our own spoons from the back and didn’t have water to drink through the whole meal. I understand that some nights get busy but we watched her just hang out and talk with the other server while we had to try and wave her down. Unnaceptable.
This place is AMAZING! Every time! Our waitress was fantastic and the sushi is phenomenal! We have NEVER had a bad experience here! Our favorite sushi roll is the "Emily". It's delicious!
Awesome as always!
One of my favorite places to eat out...
맛나고 푸짐 합니다.. It's delicious and it's great
Very pleasant, delicious food and excellent service.
Best Spicy Bulgogi I have had in a long long time. Staff was great. Wait was short. If ever in the area again we will definitely eat here again.
Amazing service, always great tasting food & sushi and very well priced!
This place use to be my favorite Korean restaurant, but the owner changed. The prices had all went up several dollars and the portion of the food had gotten smaller. They did not put any red sauce in their Spicy Pork, which used to be so good. I will no longer be regular customers here.
Excellent food with many more gluten free options than the average restaurant. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The food tastes great and is reasonably priced, but the bill can add up quickly if you order a lot of sushi.
Great food and extremely nice people.
İf you want korean food.True place for you.
They're special people. The food is made with love and care and seasoned to perfection. The owners are simply beautiful people, very personable and kind. I try to get to Seoul as often as I can.
One word: fantastic. There wasn't one bite that was disastisfying. We ate there two nights in a row, and were amazed each time. I've eaten a lot of sushi, and nothing compares to this restaurant. The sushi chef even customized a desert for us which came out fabulous. You will love this!
Good food, but the place is awful.
YES
A bit expensive, but the food is delicious. It is worth it for sure. Very homey atmosphere. Great portions too! I would definitely frequent this place more often if they would bring the prices down a bit. I haven't sampled the menu, but I LOVE the Hot Pot Bibimbap!
Amazing food, wonderful customer service, and a great environment. This food has some of the best Korean food I have tried and the portions are huge! You get your meal, plus all the side dishes. And there are some great vegeterian and meat options. I will definitely be back here and highly recommend it!
Such good food
I have yet to eat here. Every time I try they have a handwritten closed sign in the window. They should update their hours on Google like other places do if they will be closed randomly or if they are closing multiple days due to an upcoming holiday. Both times their Google said they were open. I'll update this review when if actually get to eat here ever...
Food is okay not bad but nothing special. But relatively speaking quite pricy. Happened to stop by for a lunch. $100 for 4. Nothing fancy, just 3 noodle soups, and one rice. In New York city, these would be about 50$ for a small eatery place like this. We didn't see many ppl there (one group stepped out after looking at menu) , guess they have to have big profit on every meal? Would not go back...
Great Korean food!!
Good Korean food, kind service.
Such delicious Korean food with friendly service. I eat here often.
The food was good, not super authentic, and crazy overpriced. $20 for bibimbap??? most dishes were around the $20 mark for just 1 serving
Great food and, more importantly, great sushi chef.
This place is horrible. Go to see it first hand
Really great service and delicious food!
The best Korean. Leagues better than any other Asian restaurants in Driggs
The gentleman was nice, but the food is not a good example of Korean food and if this had been my first experience with Korean food, I'd never ,ever have bought it again! The side dishes were good, the tea watery, and the Bibimbap tasteless! Also the price for 4 people was $102.00!!!! Outrageous! At our local Korean Restaurant in Chattanooga TN,we could have gotten a tastier meal for $45.00! Maybe it is from a different area of Korea than the Korean food I eat at the Chattanooga TN restaurant.
Great food, nice quiet little restaurant and plenty of food to choose from
It was fine. I'm used to Southern CA Korean restaurants and I didn't have high expectations in a rural town in Idaho. We found the flavors pretty good, but the meat was tougher than we expected. The place probably doesn't get a tremendous amount of business so they have to watch their expenses closely which translates to buying beef of lesser grades. At least that's my theory. The ban chan was good but not much variety. I was mist disappointed in the meat. Otherwise the food was presented well and overall I was satisfied with the meal. Not bad but not great.
Excellent service, excellent food! Will be visiting often!
Not usually someone who goes for "Korean food," but this place is great. Wow!
Primarily Korean food with some Japanese. The sushi is the best you're going to get in Teton Valley and is pretty impressive for the Intermountain West. The owner is frequently on hand and the quality is always consistent. My favorite dish is the dolsot bibimbap.
Great food! Service was excellent despite massive crowds for the August 2017 solar eclipse.
Tasty and fresh!
I try to stop here for lunch every time I'm in Driggs. I've never had the Sushi; I stick to the traditional Korean menu and it's never failed me. Dolsot Bibimbap, Spicy Squid, Kimchi Jjigae, Galbi, you name it - every dish has been fantastic. And the Banchan (assortment of small dishes/appetizers served complimentary before the meal) is always something new, and very tasty.
Great authentic Korean food at reasonable prices. Quick friendly service. Owner is interested in the quality of your food.
The Seoul Restaurant has authentic Korean cuisine with great portions and affordable prices! A MUST VISIT!!!
We were traveling through and had one of the best Korean meals to date. Some of the dishes are better than popular NYC or Philly spots. What a great surprise.
You wouldn't expect to find good Korean food in eastern Idaho of all places, but this is some of the best I've had. Very tasty and good portions. You won't be disappointed.
Great food.
Good place to eat
The times I've gone are 50/50, some pretty bad and some good. But their food is always delicious. Their service last time I went was bad- they neglected my table and forgot half of what we ordered. I wish they could evenly distribute their attention to all customers. The people who came in after us got their food first.
Very good, very authentic!
I lived in Seoul for 17 years. This restaurant was surprisingly good. We got a bunch of dishes and all were good except for the Doenjjang Chigae. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t authentic. The soondubu and mandu were very good and authentic. I will be going back, for sure, whenever I need my Korean food fix. It is also a little pricey.
I normally do not write reviews on google. But I need to this time. Because I feel uncomfortable. The food here is okay. But I don’t like the way they treat customers. They add the tips directly to the check without asking me. I think it also violates the law. And bad communication with me. Charge two or three dollars for rice without showing on menu. Bad experience. Never go to this place again.
Locals and tourists must eat. Great owner and best sushi around
Great service and good food for the cost
Loved the food, and the people were very friendly, humorous, and helpful. I had the man doo gook (homemade dumpling soup)....oh so delicious! I surprised myself by eating it all, and almost all of the side dishes. Next time I travel to Birmingham, I will absolutely return here!
I stopped in for lunch. First time here and I will definitely be back. I had the bento box thinking it would be a small amount of food. Wow! Absolutely delicious with fresh veggie tempura, chicken teriyaki, rice and cabbage salad. So much food for a great price.
Terrible service and the owner cooks out front on a grill... very wierd and unsanitary ... strange place to say the least
We were traveling in the area and skeptical about getting tasty Asian food in Driggs, but decided to give it a try anyway. The reviews weren't lying! We didn't try the sushi, but the bibimbap was delicious, as were the spicy pork ribs, both standouts. The edamame, mandu, and seaweed salad weren't anything special, but totally competent was still tasty. Five stars is grading on a curve for sure, but that doesn't downplay the fact that it was a delight to get food like this in Driggs.
WAY OVER PRICED! It's not worth it. The food is ok but the portion size are laughable.
미국에서 먹는 한식 미국입맛에 맞는 요리법 약간 짠거 생각하고 먹으면 괜찮음.
Good food and service
Friendly and the food was good, although not amazing. However, this might be the most expensive Korean food I've ever had, and I'm not sure really why. However, the side dishes were very good and they have barley tea. I think they need to reconsider their pricing strategy, though.
Worst experience I've ever had in a public restaurant!!! Had food thrown at our table by one of the owners and hit my granddaughter in the head . We were Celebrating my daughter-in-law's 21st birthday. We had food come flying over to our table and hit our granddaughter in the head. I pick the food up and go over to a table of three women and asked if one of them threw food at our table that just hit my granddaughter. One of them replied, I was throwing it towards the window. I responded you are throwing food in a public restaurant? She said, I was trying to hit a screaming baby. (BTW- My granddaughter was not screaming and crying she was enjoying her time out and yes making noise.) Unbelievable a grown-ass adult, owner of a restaurant throwing food and hitting a child. Is this real? We have been in the valley for 20 some odd years and thought we would try the place out because my daughter-in-law loves sushi. In all actuality, Broulim's... our local grocery store servers better sushi then Seoul did. So disappointed... I feel like we were in a bad dream
Although Korean food is amazing, this is not the place to go, I got charged 21.99 for a dinner beef bulgogi, I opened the boxes to see how much food and I had to tell the guy to put more Rice and he humbly obliged, please do not eat here as a statement, to their price gauging.
Excelent service, wonderful food! Ill definitely be back!
This place is a gem. Some of the best Korean food I have had in a very long time. I'm so glad we stopped in on our trip. The Kimchi Pancake, Soon Doo Boo, Dolslot Bibimbap, and Bulgogi all had amazing flavor and were authentic. Highly recommend and wish we had place like this back home in Bend Oregon.
the menu is a bit difficult if you have never eaten Korean, but most everything on the menu is great!
One of the best kept secrets in Birmingham. Beautiful sample of small pickled dishes whet the appetite before the main meal is served. Of course, you can order an appetizer as well. The Hot Bi Bom Bip is probably their best entree but everything is good. Delightful people. Definitely authentic Korean food.
AMAZING food, AMAZING staff, AMAZING location! I loved it!!! Dolsot bibimbap (pictured) was so good! It was SIZZLING for a solid 10 minutes there on my table as I ate it!
food so was so terrible they have to mask it by making their dishes so spicy you can't taste anything else. I guess if you're a masochist you'll enjoy this place. Otherwise, stay away!
Very expensive but the food is definitely authentic.
Highly recommend Seoul Restaurant on Greensprings Hwy. next to Aldi, for some great authentic Korean cuisine. My boyfriend and I enjoyed lunch there today. We had the Hot Pot Bi Bim Bop and it was amazing. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They offered great recommendations for first time visitors and showed us the correct way to mix everything. I give the whole experience 5 stars!
Don't go unless you want to pay $20-$50+ for lunch. Food is not worth the price and it's so greasy. Don't recommend this place at all.
Great Korean restaurant. Very good dinner option when you stay on this side of the Teton range.
I am definitely coming back to this restaurant, the staff are friendly and the food is very delicious!
Great Korean food.
The food best food in had in years
Amazing food for lunch
Good sushi
The food here is probably one of the best in the area. Authentic and delicious.
Great!
I had beef bulgogi and girlfriend had chicken w veg . They were awsome.
I was very disappointed. I am very familair with authentic Asian food. So, I am willing to pay a little extra for genuine authenticity. However, we ended up walking out over the inflated prices. A tad ridiculous.
Good food. Authentic, but way too expensive for the ambiance and service. Plan on spending at least $30 per person. They even charge for water. No free refills on any drinks including water.
The food is authentic. I have never been there without local Korean population eating there. But the food is all really pricey. The food isn't anything special. The restaurant isn't fancy. No reason for it to be so expensive. It will cost $50-60 for two people at least. If you get the Korean BBQ it's going to cost at least $80 for two people. again good food but really overpriced.
We are staying in Driggs while visiting Yellowstone and the surrounding area. My wife was excited to see there was a Korean restaurant near our rental. Seoul Restaurant did not disappoint. Everyone cleaned their plates. The food was great. Thanks for a good meal.
Imagine! Excllent Korean food AND sushi! Great soups and stews for cold weather.
Pricey on Friday through Sunday. But the food was delicious. Water comes in bottles, unless otherwise specified. Staff easy helpful and friendly. I would go again and would bring a friend. I didn't see much in the way of kids meals.
From excitement to disappointment real quick! I was very excited when I saw the signage for Hawaiian BBQ. My wife and I generally travel to Atlanta for authentic Hawaiian style cuisine/BBQ. What we received from Seoul restaurant is not traditional Hawaiian BBQ! Even with me giving a fair amount of leeway for creative differences, this food falls short of my expectations. I ordered a beef plate and my wife had the chicken. Both plates were greasy. My beef did not taste like it was marinated and it was chewy to tough. The beef was over a bed of rice with a side of clear noodles, kimchi, a salad. Sprinkled over the beef and noodles was a traditional American BBQ sauce. Man!!! I wanted this meal to be good however it is woefully disappointing.
Best Korean we have had. We attempt to find hidden treasures and different kinds of food every time we travel. Korean has always been a favorite of ours. This place is the best we have ever had. My son had the teriyaki chicken bento box. I had the spicy chicken stir fry. While I did not find the spice level to be much more than a 2/5 this dish was simply amazing. The spicy tuna roll was spicy and delicious. 15/10 recommend.
Enjoyed it! Not best Korean I've had ... not very spicy and a bit on the sweet side, but still enjoyable.
So good, so hot!!! Everything tasted so fresh and the flavor of the food was outstanding, there's no better Korean food in town. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for vegan or vegetarian options in town as well.
Great food, great service and staff
This place is great. I was very surprised to see the food culture in this town. I ordered soon tofu. It was awesome. It rivals that of soon do bu in LA.
Great food!
Fantastic and authentic food! A little out of the way but definitely worth the drive. Love the dolsot bibimpap.
I should have read the review before I ate here. Food is not so good. It's ok. It is TO EXPENSIVE. I feel like I was robbed. Please DO NOT eat here.
It was good. I frequent the spot. It is a little pricey but customer service and good taste keeps me coming back!
Amazing Korean food in Eastern Idaho of all places. I love their Kimche Jagae and bulgogi.
So delicious, NO MSG, little bit pricy, but worthy it. Two thumbs-up !!
Excellent service. Good food.
Well flavored food, great as service. Decor just okay, but really, we go out for the food and experience so no big deal to us.
I would highly recommend this wonderful Korean restaurant. The food is authentic and fresh. This is one of only two Korean restaurants in the south that I would recommend to members of my family or friends who are from or lived in Korea. The owners are warm and down to earth.
The best Korean meal I've ever had since coming to the United States. Healthy and delicious and great service!!
Tasty authentic food!
Some of the best Korean food that I've ever had. The owner would answer any question that you had about anything on the menu. The wait staff was excellent.I read a few of you talking about the prices of the items on the menu. I would say the price is definitely worth what you get! I wish I lived closer so I could frequent this restaurant more often. It is kind of hidden in the strip mall. Don't let that scare you away.
Excellent food
Great food, awesome service.
(Translated by Google) Stone-cooked bibimbap, seafood soba, steamed egg, ribs (Original) 돌솥비빔밥, 해물 순두부, 계란찜, 갈비 먹었는데 너무 맛있었어요
Loved it
Terrible service, the price is the highest that I've ever seen in any Korean restaurant, the portion is too small, and the quality is subpar compare to other Korean restaurant that I have been to. All in all, don't waste your time going here, you are better off eating fast food.
Whoa. This place was unbelievable. Went here with my wife, got the spicy pork ribs and the dolsot bibimbap; we were blown away by both dishes, including the 6 sides that came with the spicy pork ribs. One of the better dining experiences I've had anywhere, let alone in Driggs. Don't miss this place if you're coming through the area.
Really good food, the staff has always been awesome and the have a lot to choose from. I prefer their specialty rolls and the jalapeno poppers!
Service was good. We got seated right away. They were fairly fast with serving the side dishes and our drinks. The food came in a timely manner as well. The side dishes were good. The jap chae noodle dish was good just a tad oily. But......! Yes the big but....! I have 5 complaints which took 2 stars away. I grew up in the restaurant business so unless the over all experience is bad then I would not give it too bad of a review. First is it’s very expensive. This is definitely the most expensive Korean place that I have ever been to. It’s at least $5 above average prices in other Korean restaurants I have been to for every dish! Second, they added their own tip to the bill. I know they do that for large groups but we only had 4 people. Third, their Galbi dish was not good. I love Korean food so I have tried a lot of different Galbi. Do not order the Galbi here. Fourth, they only served lunch specials from Monday to Thursday. So if you go other days look to spend at least $20 for one dish. Fifth, when you ask for water they give you water bottles. That’s the first in the hundreds of restaurants I have been too. It’s only .49 a bottle but still who does that unless we ask for bottle water. Over all because of their service and quality of some of the dishes I would recommend this place as long as you don’t mind spending the extra money. But then again some people said they don’t have good service. Lol!
Very good. A must visit.
Never thought I would find Korean food in Driggs. Nor did I expect it to be so good. Fresh flavorful and big portions. Gem of a find.
Great customer service & food. A little on the pricey side but still made me want to go back.
Finally, a Restaurant in the area that isn't Thai! I wanted for so long a place to eat Asian food that wasn't Thai. In Jackson and the Valley there are a abundance of Thai Restaurants which isn't a bad thing, but I've always wanted something different. Now there is a Restaurant serving authentic Korean Food and other Asian cuisine that's delicious. I would highly recommend this place to eat for lunch or a special occasion.
Food was excellent. I had the Fire Chicken box for lunch. It was a good portion for lunch and everything in the box from the chicken to the kimchi was spicy, flavorful, well cooked, and beautifully presented. Friend had the beef/rice stone pot, it was AWESOME. Egg on top was wonderful and it was fun trying all of the sides. Waitress was very helpful with the menu and very friendly. Service was good, but the restaurant wasn't particularly full, so I can see how service would suffer if the place was packed with only one waitstaff. My only complaint was the prices, everything was high. My fire chicken was $13, my friend's was $18. That's pretty steep for lunch.
The prices were outrageous for Korean food. They charge extra for additional side dishes (which are skimpy) and their portions are tiny. It wasn't the best Korean food. I won't be eating there again.
Great food!
Excelent Korean food
Expensive!!!
If you like Asian food, and you are visiting Teton area, you should try their food.
Superb food & service. So authentic you'll walk out speaking Korean.
(Translated by Google) Kukguksu, Sundae, and Seolongtang were delicious. It does not taste seasoning and side dish is delicious and is strong ^^ (Original) 칼국수,순두부,설렁탕 넘넘 맛있었어요. 조미료맛도 안나고 반찬도 맛있고 강추합니다 ^^
Excellent food and priced right, clean rooms and friendly staff !
Very good for out in the Bonnie’s!!
The tteokbokki was delicious. I am so glad I do not have to drive all the way to Atlanta to find it. When I moved back to Birmingham, I was afraid that i would miss out on this wonderful comfort food. I am so thankful that for this restaurant. Yummy!
Just okay food with high cost. Large portions.
Mia is great and good food as well. Try the Avalanche Roll
WARNING DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU ENJOY BEING RIPPED OFF... This place should not even deserve any stars. the waiter took her own tip in the check and added TWO times over %15 OF MY CHECK. the food tasted frozen...soooo much for authentic. The check had 3 food orders but ended up to be $105 plus the $25 dollars in tip. that a total rip off since the food was not even that great.
Excellent service. Food was excellent.
The food is amazing and the people are so nice
Located in a shopping center a few blocks from large Asian grocery store. They have 2 tables that have a tabletop grill to cook your food but pricing for that is separate and pretty steep (about $30/person for beef bulgogi). My husband and I went on a Sunday for an early dinner at around 430pm and there were only the 2 of us. They have authentic and traditional Korean dishes on the menu such which consists of appetizers, soup, bibbimbap, noodle bowls and of course Korean bbq. My husband had the beef bulgogi and I ordered fire chicken which were both really good. They served us with 6 banchan (side dishes) enough for 2 people, and of course 2 small bowls rice. Seving size per dish is enough for 2 people, we ended up having 1 to-go box for my leftovers. Our check was about $50+ for the 2 of us.
Loved the food
The location is convenient to the interstate and just off green springs hwy. You can see the sign from the main road. It's a small restaurant. But, it is cozy and the decor is nice. The owner was super nice and he and the waiter explained what items were on the menu. The food was good. I really enjoyed the seasoning on the marinated chicken with dipping sauce. The rice was also good. They have a good selection of tea as well. Very helpful and friendly staff. I highly recommend!
The owner of this restaurant sat by and watched a woman throw food at a jabbering baby. Seriously? 11 month old baby hit in the head with a pea pod and she did nothing to intervene. Obviously not a family friendly establishment. Waiting for owner to respond and explain her lack of involvement.
My family and I met some friends about 5 on Saturday. Some of our food was really quite good. Sushi was just ok and was extremely slow to come out. My group was finished eating before I received my sushi. I might have tried it again but the service or lack of it was horrible. 1 waiter for the whole place. We didn't get out of there until 7.
Amazing super authentic food. Stopped in on our way from/to Atlanta. Owner is really involved and fun and interested in customer satisfaction, even though we were high maintenance meat/dairy/gluten/sugar free customers!
Amazing sushi! Make sure to try the "avalanche" and the "don't ask". I also like the tempora veggies. The food is great quality and fresh.
Food was great!!! Had the Korean Barbecue pork, beef bulgogi and beef. Owners and service were exceptional. Will definitely go again soon.
The food was really good but on the expensive side. If you know that ahead of time, you won't be surprised when your meal is more than you anticipated. The old Korean gentleman there is very nice, the service is fast and the staff was friendly. There are very few Korean restaurants around here, do you either eat here or drive over to Ginza on 280.
Nice food, great service, but such a high price - it's still great how they give you a Häagen-Dazs ice cream bars after payment.
The food was amazing. But what really made the trip was the owner. Very personable. So good.
Best food and value in the valley. Love the owner. My go to place
korean restaurant in driggs idaho? surprisingly good, beef bulgogi real tasty. reasonably priced.
(Translated by Google) I traveled to Panama City, Florida and went back up to have lunch. Three of us had a different menu and shared the taste. I ate six dishes such as Dolso Bibimbap, regular Bibimbap, kalguksu, fried octopus, miso stew, kimchi stew, and all of them were fantastic. It was made with natural seasonings without using any artificial seasonings, so I could feel the unique taste of the ingredients. The side dishes were so wonderful that I brought all the leftovers. The sheep was so rich .... everything was satisfactory. Those who eat here will never regret it. Also, the kindness and kindness of the waitress serving Lindsay raised the dining atmosphere. It was an unforgettable good meal. It is recommended. This is the best Korean restaurant I've ever experienced in the area. There is no MSG in all foods but natural seasonings only. Great taste! Very satisfactory amount of food on each menu which 2 people can eat with one dish order. All side dishes are very delicious. Impressive service and great music for guests. Great view of the tetons as well as the greatest sushi in the valley A+++ satisfaction. 10/10 would dine at again.
OK first the food is good, but they are straight up legit crazy people with the prices! They need to be half of what they are.
Yes. Yes. Yes! My favorite Korean restaurant in the America. Wonderful sushi, and the Korean food is spot on. Prices are a bit high, but this is the Jackson area.
Not really well done Korean BBQ. Just look up the ones in Koreatown in LA and you will see what Korea BBQ is really supposed to be like.
Got the bento teriyaki beef box and it was amazing definitely getting again
Great experience with excellent food and a colorful staff. If you've never had Korean cuisine the owner will walk you through it. One of the best kept secrets in the city.
Fantastic food. The atmosphere is very informal. I felt like I was having my meal in someone's living room, which is the best sort of experience for me. We each ordered a dish and between splitting
Loved this restaurant! I Always go with family and friends when I'm in town. The food was wonderful. Large servings and very tasty. The owners and staff were very friendly. Will definitely be back.
Very tasty, authentic Korean dishes. The restaurant has a Korean living room feel, so it's a place I go to for the great food, not for any kind of fancy atmosphere. Unfortunately expensive compared ti Korean places in other cities, but for lack of competition they can afford it.
We had stopped by this Restaurant after a long day at Yellowstone Park. It was a shock that I was able to find a Restaurant that served authentic Korean, Japanese, and other Asian food in this small town of Idaho. It's about 45 minute drive from Jackson, WY. The menu consisted of many Korean food and Sushi selections and the food was delicious !!! The staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend this place for all travelers craving for tasty Asian food. I want to thank the owner (a petite korean lady with a hat) for a wonderful meal !!!
Authentic Korean food, sushi and good local beer. I drive an hour just to eat here. One of a kind in East Idaho.
An amazing diamond in the rough
Very unique dining experience. The food was good just needed a little salt. I am not sure if that is typical for Korean food to let you season it how you wish.
Very good! Also very busy!
This place has some AMAZING sushi!! Huge menu selection of authentic Asian cuisine for everyone. Thank you for a wonderful meal
There is so much price gouging here that I do not understand why it's being tolerated. Being the only Korean restaurant in the area seems to make the owners think that they can charge more than double for the food without doing anything to improve the decor or the general dirtiness of the restaurant. The same bi bim bap costs $7 elsewhere ($19.99). For the prices charged, the restaurant should be decorated and kept much cleaner at a minimum. The food was okay, but not the best I've tried. I ordered stir fried octopus. Some of the pieces were so chewy that I could not eat them (clear sign of overcooking or pieces repeatedly being frozen/defrosted). The greed of the owners will catch up to them sooner or later. I just want people to be aware that there are restaurants with better decor/atmosphere, better food AND cheaper prices throughout the state of Alabama. If you're in the mall where this restaurant is located, I would pay 1/3 of the price to eat here and go to one of the other restaurants in the mall (which I should have done). I asked for some more side dishes and was told it's $1.99 per side dish. I've never been to a Korean restaurant where they charge you for more kimchi. Also, at the end, the waiter asked if I was Korean. Apparently, hot barley tea is free for Koreans and not for non-Koreans. That's also pretty disturbing. I'll spend my hard earned cash somewhere else.
Yummy
Pretty good - nice service
Excellent. Authentic Korean food made fresh. Can't wait to go back!
My only thought is how the heck did this gem end up way out here?
We order 2 combination and it was only chicken and 6 shrimp inside which cost 128 USD,If u rich and wanna try,u can come.
Yummy
Food and service was excellent from the appetizers to the entrée. Price right for the amount of food.
I see the complaints of the prices of the food. First of all, my mom is from Seoul, South Korea. We grew up watching her make kimchi, bulgogi, japchae, jjigae and many other dishes. Im 33 now and I can tell you that these dishes are painstaking to make. I would watch my mom outside with huge steel bowls outside literally washing and curing kimchi, then seasoning it and jarring it. This is a long process, usually taking all day. The people who actually know about real Korean food and culture will know what Im talking about. Also having to get special seasonings from world markets bc regular stores don’t have what is needed for the food to be authentic. These people put so much work and love into their food. So I understand the pricing. To each their own though.
We were so surprised to find an authentic Korean restaurant in this small town in Idaho, but it was definitely a pleasant surprise! The food was absolutely authentic and so delicious, whether you live nearby and haven't tried it yet, or are passing through, I highly recommend a visit here for an amazing meal!
Excellent Korean cooking.
Kim chi soup was boiling hot and very spicy. Got a free ice cream after lunch. Excellent quality.
Always excellent food.
Man oh man, what a price. I'd rate the food below average. Definately not worth the price.
This seafood soup is amazing, I loved it
Love this place ! I wish they had one closer to where I am ! I try and come whenever I have the time . so worth the trip
I've been wanting to find an authentic Korean restaurant in the area and I was not disappointed. Good portions, nice atmosphere, and the staff is really nice. Not to mention the food is really good. High recommendation.
Absolutely love this place! We go there regularly!!
반찬이 다른집들과는 달리 너무 맛있어서 각반찬 추가시 $2.99
Delicious authentic Korean food!
Excellent food, more then we were able to eat which is usual for Korean style food. My new favorite restaurant! The service was great, very friendly we will definitely be returning.
Always good quality and service
Food tastes authentic. If you want the Korean food taste that is comparable to South Korea, then this is the place to be. I am so glad it is near where I work, tastes so good, I am coming back to this place. The price may be different than it was 10 years ago, but amount of preparations it takes for the food, the price is fair.
Every thing here is so good. I have tried several of the dish's and have loved everything. Only complaint might be it is a $20 plus minimum meal, but since I was introduced to this place I have been at least once a month.
(Translated by Google) The food seems to be tasted properly in Korean food, but the sanitary condition is generally suspected without removing the table at the time. (Original) 음식은 한식 제대로 맛을 내는것 같은데 제때 테이블 치우지 않고 전반적으로 위생상태가 의심됨.
It would surprise you to have an authentic korean restaurant there. Yummy and authentic.
Delicious! Really friendly service and fast take away.
Very good food.
Large portions. Spicy dishes are actually spicy. Delicious food. Quick and friendly service.
Waiters are attentive, Excellent sushi, local beer is great and a must try.
Extremely greedy establishment
The traditional short ribs were authentic and fantastic. The dessert was mind blowing. Will be back
I've only had the bulgogi and fire chicken boxes, but both are fantastic!
I have had only really good experiences here. The food is delightful, a bit more pricey than I usually go for but the service is excellent. I have been treated very well by the friendly staff and I absolutely love the final fantasy roll. Yum!
Tasted like authentic Korean cuisine! Just a bit more pricy. All in all, well done.
First time there. My son and I shared an excellent meal, friendly staff. The decor is very reminiscent of the time I have spent in Asia. Some of the items can be a bit pricey.
Great food the service was OK I guess
They serve many Korean favorites, including japchae, haemul pajeon, and tteokbokki. Everything we tried was delicious. Be warned they are on the expensive side, with some entrees being $18 or so, but they give you so much food, one dish is enough for two people. If I were on a budget, I would suggest just splitting an entree with someone. That said, the food was worth the price, especially considering there aren't many Korean restaurants in Bham. Highly recommended. We'll definitely go back.
We were driving cross-country and happened upon this place. Getting authentic-tasting Korean food on the edge of Idaho was the last thing I would expect but everyone in my group was shocked at just how good it was. Would absolutely come here again if I ever return to the area.
Too expensive price is going higher... Not different taste with before
Great for Birmingham
Great food, sushi, bentos, drinks. Friendly atmosphere.
Excellent food everytime I've been
It;s ok is stretching it... I have much experience since 1972 with Korea and food. I married into Korean family...love them much but this place is like, set up few tables on side of Asian food market...had to go back out and put on a jacket. Two people in back did not hear me come in...no one else in store or restaurant ,,,well I finally got their attention, I wanted to eat Korean food....side dishes were like I never seen before and small...Kimchee very mild and I think old...ordered bul go gi....she gets out of freezer, loaded with salt, I cooked at table and cooked longer to get salt out. I ordered two fried over easy eggs, how hard is it to cook eggs. She cooked them and burnt but somehow yoke still soft...did not add salt, mixed with rice and meat .Tasted Ok. Charged 3.99 for eggs. 3.99 for bud ( I said beer , so he brings me a Bud) No other beer I guess. Total bill 27 bucks...worth 10!! The place has no ambiance. They need help badly...Birmingham has no competition for Korean restaurant as far as I can see. Guess i'm spoiled after Chicago and Seoul for over 40 years. Could add more but think enough.
