SLOW DOWN IN THE KITCHEN. I like the food if they would ever give me my entire order. This is the third time I have ordered from Sacs and received only part of my food!!! If you are hungry, please don't make this your first stop; unless of course you are willing so deal with the lack of professionalism. They constantly put you on hold for several minutes and if you order the fried green tomatoes make sure they fry them correctly. I am trying to keep my support of black business but they are beginning to lose my vote. I recommend better staff training and a proper phone line.

Excellent country cooking , whole catfish were fresh and perfectly breaded and fried, shrimp were good as well as hamburger steak, corn, cabbage, cheese/macaroni , tea and bread. EXCELLENT sevice!!

Easily the best restaurant in the area. We get to the Ardmore / Huntsville area about once a month and have been really disappointed at the food choices until today when we stumbled upon Sac's kitchen. It's a traditional meat & 3 but with so much more charm and authenticity. Everyone there was super friendly, and the food was terrific. I couldn't choose between the liver / onions and the ribs so I did the ribs with a side of liver and onions. The blackberry cobbler is a must-try, and my girlfriend had the fried chicken which she loved. I will 100% be back next time we go down. Seriously, amazing food.

My first time visiting Sacs Kitchen was yesterday, 10/25/18 & I must say i was highly impressed!.. The set up is welcoming & you can feel the warmth of home when you walk in. The customer service was bright and speedy! The food was banging!!! I don’t eat pork or beef so I was thrilled to learn that they cook the veggies with turkey!!! Also, with options such as veggie patties, They have what it takes to be legendary in Huntsville!! I’m going back again today lol!! Keep up the amazing service y’all!!! I hate it when black businesses don't make it or stay in business because of lack of intellect to run a business... I don't care how good ur food is or how much money u got.. They're food is Ok..not the best to me.Anyway,if u mess up on an Ad regarding daily specials and you wouldn't fix or replace it because the customer got into the food! Wow, just can't wrap my head around that..yeah I may seem insignificant compared to all the other customers that keep u in business but u got to remember lil drops of water makes a mighty ocean..long story short.. Will never go back and wouldn't recommend anyone else to.

I got the hamburger steak it was l good, I would get that again...the sides were ok..the yams were ok beside a hair that was in them lol. The greens were the right texture, thought they would have more seasoning for a soul food restaurant. This was the smallest portion size I ever had from a soul food establishment, but it was ok for lunch. I did not like the cornbread, maybe just different then what I normally eat, I prefer moist cornbread. The peach cobbler was great.

The best southern cooking in Huntsville by far. My favorite main entrees are: Meat Loaf, Baked Lemon Pepper Chicken/Dressing, and Lasagna. My favorite sides: macaroni and cheese, yams, green beans, cabbage, and banana pudding. Please give this place a try you won't regret it.

Enjoyed my meat-and-three. Went for early weekday lunch. Not crowded when I arrived, filling up when I left. Got baked chicken, green beans and mac-n-cheese, plus cornbread and sweet tea. Quick in and out. Next time maybe I'll order off the menu, maybe catfish or pork chop.

I was out driving after work looking for some good homecooked food when Sac's Kitchen entered my radar. This place is great, from the people to the food. The food is just like how my Mom used to make it. I had the roasted chicken, the meat fell off the bone and tasted great. The stuffing and gravey had a great balance, just enough gravey that the stuffing did not get soggy. The green beans were good, a little dry but still worthy of mom's table. Now on to the real treat for me: Mac and Cheese, theirs is everything I like in this dish, the noodles are done, not over or under, the cheese is thick and tasty. I passed on the bread rolls only because I wanted to eat all of the real food. The dining room is small and inviting, very clean with fresh paint (no paint smell). Two TV's are on, one with the weather channel and the other has sports news. This is homecooked meal that my Mom would be proud to serve. Huntsville is blessed to have this restaurant in thier town. 2nd time eating here...such good food

This place has AMAZING soul food! The folks who run it are SUPER nice and the food is out of this world! I've had the daily specials (the mac n cheese is straight up made from crack - amaZing! Greens are cooked from fresh) and the best cheeseburger in Huntsville. If it weren't on the other side of town I would eat there every day!

I found a gem. Been in Huntsville nearly 8 years and never new about this place. Barely tasted a dish an associate ordered and my mouth knows there is more to try. I can't wait to explore this menu. The location is definitely hidden because I've driven this street a million times and never noticed the place. Though it's seemingly hidden the locals are definitely aware of this place. I look forward to adding a food review in the future. Update I went back and the dishes I tried blew my mind. I was so eager to eat I forgot to take a picture before digging in. Best lunch ever. I had lemon pepper chicken perfectly seasoned. Dressing & gravy to live for mashed potatoes like none other and cabbage with an edge. My Aunt had the same with mac and cheese that was heavenly, and just a side note I don't eat anybody mac & cheese but it was good and tasty! The sweet potatoes which were delicious. I just didnt have a taste for it.. They let me taste test the greens they were pretty good too. I will be dining here more often. Staff was extremely friendly fly and kind hearted. The owner was in the back making the dishes I guess. It's def one of the highlights of Huntsville but very well hidden. I bet they would get mamy more customers if the was a sign near the road.

Horrible...order took forever because they supposedly had to change the grease for the fries and literally gave me 13 fries. Yes I counted them!!! I waited over an hour for dry mac and cheese, bland non seasoned veggie plate and 13 fries and the food is cold.

My wife couldn’t make a decision on an entrée so she went with an order of four sides and loved them all. I had the catfish and it was excellent. Love this place they Catfish is BOMB! But thing I don’t like is they have a new girl who takes the to go orders and she messed up on my order twice so far. One time I care when order should’ve been ready and she didn’t even print out ticket for the cooks in the back to cook so I have to wait like 40-50 minutes total! They gave me a free desert for my trouble so that helped but I want the old girl back!

Good home cooked food. The Mac n cheese was delicious! It's a busy place during lunch too. All fresh veggies as I saw the greens going into the pot and lettuce chopped by hand as I was waiting. They offer many entrees, sides and desserts on the hot food bar but you can order off the menu if you want fried chicken or catfish, etc.
