If it were possible to rate no stars, I'd choose that option. I'm sure the food and service are great, BUT I never got the opportunity to eat there. Made reservations online for the Mobile, AL location, and received confirmation of those plans via email. I even called juuust to make sure. I get there the next evening with dinner guests in tow, mind you we drove over an hour for such an occasion, only to be turned away at the door because they gave our reservation away. I never received any word or call about the change. My consolation? Oh, we could sit at the bar and see if a table becomes available. I could understand giving a reservation away if the customer is late, but we got there 10 minutes early because we expected a delay in parking! I'm disappointed in the severe lack of customer service that was given by the wait and managerial staff I encountered, they couldn't have cared less and offered half-assed apologies for 'the misunderstanding' as if they played no role in it.

I went during Devour Indy. The portions were smaller but the ambience was great. The food was pretty good but my favorite part was the iceberg salad if that says anything but I wouldn't say this place is worth the prices they charge. And the service was terrible it took a confusing amount of time for someone to come over to get even our drink order and our waiter was in a noticeable rush.

Excellent service and food! Filet and carrot cake were my favorite! Visiting during Devour Indy is a tradition for our group of friends and Ruth's Chris never disappoints! This location, every single time we’ve been, everyone from valet to busser was friendly, professional and eager to make sure we’re happy. And that doesn’t even have anything to do with the food, which has always been on point. I’m usually not too gushy but we had a family get together here after about a year since we were last here and it came up as a topic of conversation how there’s no “downtown anxiety” coming here and never an issue with service. We were a party of just five this time, never an empty glass (I drink a stupid amount of water so after about the fifth refill I usually make a joke to the waiter or waitress, Megan didn’t miss a beat).

My husband and I finally had time to come to Ruth's Chris to celebrate our marriage and it was amazing! Sean was our waiter and he was so helpful and friendly! I would want him every time we visit. We had the small seafood tower which was delicious! Highly recommend! We also had the barbecued shrimp, lobster mac and cheese, and the bone in New York strip. All of it was cooked perfectly with such good flavor! The regular cheesecake is a must! So creamy! Sean also brought us out two chocolate strawberries with the word Congratulations written in chocolate! We will be back!

Absolutely over the top amazing!! Staff was over the top incredible! We were there celebrating our wedding anniversary. Upon hearing that the staff placed complimentary rose petals on our table. Our server was very knowledgeable on all items and drinks on the menu. He was professional, social, and attentive. The food was delicious. Ribeye and stuffed chicken were cooked to perfection. The presentation of the food was so beautiful!! (Banana creme pie in photo) to top off an already unbeatable meal they presented us with complementary chocolate covered strawberries for our anniversary. It was a special occasion that they made so much more special!! I couldn't have asked for anything better or more... so impressed with everything!! I will absolutely return!!

This was the first time we have dined at a Ruth Chris Steak House. The building is not impressive from the outside. We were greeted & had the door opened for us by a a very nice young lady & once inside were treated as though we were royality by each staff member who served us. We had a total of 5 people, plus the manager, making sure we had everything we wanted & that we were happy with the food. Our waitress was so professional yet so warm & friendly at the same time. Kudos to Ruth Chris for their choice of employees. Once inside we were very impressed with both the decor & the atmosphere of the restaurant. It was very comfortable & relaxing, a perfect setting for enjoying a fine meal. The food was delicious & the presentation was exceptional ! Although the prices were "$$$" there are choices on the menu for a " three course meal" which fall in the $45 to $55 price category. My husband enjoyed the filet & especially the appetizer "ahi tuna", both superbly prepared, grilled asparagus & the fresh tomato salad with balsamic demi-glaze & chopped mozzrela. I did not chose an "entree", instead I ordered from the appetizer , soup, salad & sides selections. My choices were the french onion soup, the chopped salad (now among my favorites) , the sizzling shrimp (my all time favorite, it is addictive) the seafood tower (lobster, blue crab, King crab and shrimp), scalloped potatoes, & white chocolate banana cream pie. I'm from the New Orleans area, that being said, the crusty but very light warm bread loaf they serve is the best bread I have ever eaten. My husband had a beer & the Ruth Chris martini (again addictive). The martini had vodka, a liquor (can't remember which one) & spices such as rosemary that one would not expect in a cocktail. I had never tasted a martini before, now I understand why people enjoy them. It was a very unusual taste for me, but one I enjoyed. My only suggestion, like/dislike, would be my personal preference, of serving the seafood tower not as cold. I would have preferred it warmer. It seemed the cold kept the flavors from being fully enjoyed. Our bill without tip was $237.00. Expensive, yes, by our standards, however we plan on returning once every 6 months & on special occasions. A memorial dinning experience in every way. I do not agree with serving a 50 dollar, med rare steak on a 500 degree plate. I think its essential to let the meat rest. Serving it on a 500 degree plate will just continue to cook the steak. Most importantly the service was excellent!

We experienced a truly exceptional dinner last evening at the Ruth's Chris in downtown Indy. Having been there for dinner many times before, this enjoyable restaurant is our fallback location for family celebrations such as birthdays and anniversaries. The restaurant is well appointed with a pleasant, welcoming decor. The lounge area with curving bar sits up front along with a row of dinner tables along the sidewalk facing windows. A melody of familiar and robust tunes emanated from the lounge piano musician throughout the evening. The hostess was very polite and engaging as were the wait/support staff in making our dinner event very successful.

The service is wonderful. The steaks are excellent. The sides are good. Everything is a la carte. The bar program is good. They have a fully stocked bar and can make most anything you order. Good wine list. The interior is wood panels and, in some rooms, upolstered walls. A well done steak house (pun intended).

Nice and fancy atmosphere to celebrate special days. Restaurant lights are dimmed so it creates romantic candle light experience. We tried their famous shrimp cocktail and it was great! Even pecan pie was delicious. But, the steaks we ordered came too raw. We usually eat “medium well” and what we receive was “rare” we asked the waiter to cook it more, second time he brought it, it was still rare so we take it to go and cooked it at home.

For 4 of us the total was around 400$. The drinks were surprisingly very reasonable and the food was great but the filet was 43$! I think they could lower that by at least 15$. The service was perfect, as expected.

First time at a Ruth Chris Steak House and I was not impressed at all with both the food nor the service. If I had a choice to give this place a 0 start I will have. I was a guess at the Embassy Suits hotel were this restaurant is located. Even thought they offer some sort of room service, I decided to come down to the restaurant and order some food to go for my wife and I. I arrived at the bar around 8:45 PM, it took me about 10 minutes to review the menu and see what my wife wanted, I ended up ordering two salads and a side order of shrimp (BTW $15 for 6 medium size shrimp, come on). The bartender place my order right away and a few minutes later he brought me the check, which I paid right away and even left an 18% tip (for basically giving me a water and taking my order, by hey I know tips are part of their salaries, so I always tip). I sat there and look at my phone and waited, and waited, and no food. 5 minutes after I arrived another person sat near me, a different bartender came over to this person and ask if he wanted to drink anything, the person order some wine and the bartender even offered him some bread and butter (where is my bread and butter?, I asked myself, but didn't ask for any). I continued to look at my phone and about 15 minutes later the person next to me got some nice looking stake and a side of something else, I even noticed that he was eating a side salad. So I started to wonder, where in the world is my two salad and the shrimp, I look at the bartender who took my order, he came over and asked if the other bartender had charged me already, no update on the food, I left it alone for to see what happened. I than see a waitress come over to the bartender and asked him something about an order, he responded and after about 30 minutes I finally got my two salads and the shrimp. I left to my room and had to come back to get another set of plastic ware, since they only gave me one set. I wish I had took a photo of the food, really tiny little salads, the shrimp weren't even that well cook, and the taste was ok. Definitely the first and last $40 something dollars that Ruth's Chris Steak House will see from my again.

Ruth Chris is not what it’s made up to be. I payed $130 for food that did not taste all that grate at all, the stake was really tough, the only good part were the salads. Next time I will pay $50 or less and go to O’charley’s or Texas Road house instead, the food is a lot better anyway.

I loved the taste and mood here. But the server was a racist I strongly believe(she was a caucasian and we are asians). It took 40min to order cause she didn’t show up even after we asked several times. (She didn’t even say hi when we came in while saying hello to others with a happy smile. It was very obvious.) After all, we had to complain, and the manager and replaced server were great and professional. It was our last honeymoon night and my husband was so upset that he was about to leave. But the other staff made up for it. Excellent taste, nice atmosphere. Just watch out for a racist server(she had a long blonde hair.)

I visited this place on Friday for my birthday and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I've got a lot to say about everything so I'll start at the beginning. Destiny was my host that evening and it looked as though she was by herself. She was nice once you drew a smile out of her. I offered a little joke to perk up her monotone voice but all in all she asked all the proper questions and ultimately did the job required of her so I have no complaints. Luke was my waiter and he definitely knew how to treat people so close to the holidays and once they told him it was their birthday. He was personable and well put together. I'd forgotten the last two side dishes offered and he listed them immediately along with his suggestions excellently. I was very impressed with how I might be thinking of a wine and he completed my sentence. He checked back on us moderately and didn't crowd the table. Wonderful service Luke. I was very pleased with everything you did that evening. Have a wonderful holiday home skillet! I loved the stuffed mushrooms and my t-bone steak was more than perfect. The manager did a table visit as soon as the entrees hit the table. He was precise and not overbearing. I would recommend this place over and over. Thank you so much.

The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because my appetizer veal pasta was good. My steak (filet) looked rotten and like no other steak I have ever seen. Totally gross. Blue and purple on the inside. Weird textured. Ordered medium rare. Sent it back and was so grossed out I didn't order anything else. Very dissappointed.

Came here at 7 PM on a Monday and it was surprisingly busy. The parking was free with validation and abundant. We ordered the shrimp cocktail to start. The shrimps were so big and succulent. The cocktail sauce has a slight kick or spice to it, almost like radish. The creamed spinacy tasted very creamy but did not have much flavor to it. I asked for my rib eye to be medium rare, which did happen.

I am afraid that Ruth Chris can no longer be classified as an elite restaurant chain. I came here this past weekend with a group of friends (3 couples total) and our experience was not "top notch". We made reservations and was seated shortly after we arrived. There was an extended time between the server coming over and taking our orders and getting those items out. After placing our order for cocktails there was at least a 10-15 minute wait time. Shortly afterwards our food orders were taken and there was fairly lengthy wait for our entrees to come out. Guess number 1 ordered the filet and it was not cooked to the desired temperature. The presentation was not appealing and the cut of meat was not the best quality. Guess number 2 ordered the lamb chops and they were slightly over cooked. My wife's medallions were not the best as they too were slightly over cooked. My New York strip was okay along with our side items, however at this point as a group we were all fairly disappointed. Needless to say that based on my experiences at another location (Kennesaw) I am officially done with the Ruth Chris restaurant chain. They promote themselves as an elite restaurant with excellent quality, however I have gone to Longhorns and paid way less and received far better quality and service. If you are looking for quality based on the prices I highly recommend you consider other options before settling here. Best of luck!

Awesome steaks and the service is good, some times it's a little slow, but not that big of a deal. I recommend this steakhouse. Remember it's a steakhouse not seafood restaurant. I don't recommend you getting seafood here, it was not fresh at all. But everything else is great. I recommend you get creamed spinach as a side because it is fantastic!

I have been to this particular Ruth's Chris at least 30 times due to staying at the hotel several times per year for a seminar. All I can say is that this place is absolute TRASH. I would give it less than one star if possible. The waitstaff / bartenders are the WORST I have ever experienced. Rude, not helpful, short and condescending. The service is incredibly slow and sub par. I keep thinking it will change and get better but it doesn't. I refuse to give another single dollar to this establishment. The franchise should fire every single person who works here and start over OR close the location as it does not represent the chain well.

Abysmal service! No one came to take our drink order for over 30 minutes, steak wasn't cooked to order (asked for medium, came out rare as confirmed by the GM Jessica Brown...and yes this is supposed to be a fine dining "steak" house). Waitress rude, manager just lost, GM Jessica Brown overly condescending. Everyone's excuse, "we are really busy due to the Super Bowl!" Really? No one had any idea when the Super Bowl was happening? A supposedly fine dining establishment such as this should have been properly staffed and prepared. I've written a note to CEO Cheryl Henry with an outline of these concerns in hopes that another patron doesn't have to experience these issues at this location!

I’ve been to Ruth Chis in every city that I visit , and this was by far the worst experience that I’ve had thus far. Not only was the environment less than what I would expect for a Ruth Chis establishment, but the service was Atrocious. I brought a group 8 lady friends with me to dinner and all were dressed to the nines in designer clothing... as soon as we walked through the front door we were treated with the upmost disrespect. We were told that our dress attire was not appropriate for the dining room area.. so, they sat us at a table in the back of the establishment. Upon walking to our table we walked through the dining room area ( the same one that we not allowed in) and people were dressed in basketball jerseys, hats turned around backwards, jeans, tennis shoes, some of the women were dressed in more provocative attire than my lady friends, I even saw a woman in her pajamas ( no lie). Once we was seated the staff continued to harass my friends and embarrass them by telling them cover themselves with jackets! It’s was beyond ridiculous to say the least. We spent well over a thousand dollars and were treated like second class people. The standard and rules were not implied to all parties, and it seemed that if you were a person of color that you could dress and wear what ever you liked with no objections. I’m appalled by the treatment we received.. I will be calling the corporate office and informing of them of horrendous experience and environment!!! It was more like The Golden Corral than a Ruth Chis. I’ve spent thousands and thousands of dollars with this company and they will never get another penny from me!

We were rushed through the meal: the salads on the table 2 minutes after being ordered and taken away as soon as we each put down our fork; the steaks served even before we had a change to eat half of the appetizers (and we aren't especially pokey eaters!). The menu was uninspiring, something along the lines of dinner at the grandparents' upscale senior-living center.

My husband and I finally had time to come to Ruth's Chris to celebrate our marriage and it was amazing! Sean was our waiter and he was so helpful and friendly! I would want him every time we visit. We had the small seafood tower which was delicious! Highly recommend! We also had the barbecued shrimp, lobster mac and cheese, and the bone in New York strip. All of it was cooked perfectly with such good flavor! The regular cheesecake is a must! So creamy! Sean also brought us out two chocolate strawberries with the word Congratulations written in chocolate! We will be back!

I give Ruth Chris 5 stars on not just food but hard work and dedication. This past Saterday we had big dinner party of over 14 people. Some additional guest arrived creating challenges for the staff and us. The manager and staff handled all our concerns to keep the event awesome and enjoyable. The steak and food were also at upmost quality temperature and melted in your mouth. I rarely take the time to make a review but the staff and management out did them thank you.

Came in from out of town. I eat at Ruth Chris all the time in Nashville. I went with 8 ladies for a birthday party. The moment we walked in the door the dining manager (female blonde) and the hostess was extremely rude. We where told that we where not properly dressed Because of our clevage and was told we had to stay covered! When we got sat down no one came over and took our drink order for 30min. I had to get up and speak with the damn manager again! My friend removed her jacket because she was cold and the FEMALE MANAGER came over and made her put her jacket on she HUMILIATED my friend in front of the whole dinning room.There was plenty of women with clevage in the room and we literally where being picked on !! I’ve never in my life been more humiliated!! I cannot believe that this staff harassed us the entire meal. We spent over $1,000, the waiter didn’t even pour me a glass of wine she just dumped the bottle in front of me. There was nothing special about this place. I will never go back to another Ruth Chris.

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and Ruth’s Chris is usually our choice. However this location lacked customer service. The food was excellent but our server was less attentive than we would’ve like. We literally had to flag another waiter down to have our water refilled. We also had a mandatory $21.34 tip which I thought was weird considering I’ve never had to do that before. I think we saw our waiter a total of four times throughout our visit. One time for the initial greeting, second time to bring our drinks and to take our order in which he rushed us to do because he stated “we have a lot of orders in”. The third time was to bring our food and the fourth was to bring the check. I was not pleased with the level of service here and probably won’t return to this location.

We experienced a truly exceptional dinner last evening at the Ruth's Chris in downtown Indy. Having been there for dinner many times before, this enjoyable restaurant is our fallback location for family celebrations such as birthdays and anniversaries. The restaurant is well appointed with a pleasant, welcoming decor. The lounge area with curving bar sits up front along with a row of dinner tables along the sidewalk facing windows. A melody of familiar and robust tunes emanated from the lounge piano musician throughout the evening. The hostess was very polite and engaging as were the wait/support staff in making our dinner event very successful.

Nice and fancy atmosphere to celebrate special days. Restaurant lights are dimmed so it creates romantic candle light experience. We tried their famous shrimp cocktail and it was great! Even pecan pie was delicious. But, the steaks we ordered came too raw. We usually eat “medium well” and what we receive was “rare” we asked the waiter to cook it more, second time he brought it, it was still rare so we take it to go and cooked it at home.

Looks like they have a couple of private rooms you could use for larger parties. My only disappointment was that they don't seem to have a dress code. So while visiting Alanta we ( a large group ) thought cant go wrong with Ruth Chris and made reservations. I was sadly disappointed. From the moment we walked in the tone was set. We were told we were against dress code. (Mind you we were all in dresses and nice designer clothes for a night out in Alanta. )I was shocked. As I looked around to see tennis shoes, jerseys, Jean and baseball caps. And I kid you not . A lady who looked to be in pjs! We adjusted our attire with over costs and such and was set in the dining room. After 30 mins of not being served we flagged down a waitress to take our drink order. Worst service ever. For a table that spent well over a grand on dinner we should have been treated with more respect. I will never dine or recommend Ruth Chris to anyone.

The food was served piping hot. Loved that. I had dinner reservations for a 9pm slot. The service was great and I did not have to repeatedly ask for refills on beverages. Try the cowboy ribeye medium as the plate comes sizzling right out of the oven and continues to cook the steak and keep it hot for the entire meal. The same for the lamb chops. The chops were marinated but could use some salt. Try the crab stuffed mushrooms, steamed broccoli, and sweet potato casserole. This place is pricey so be prepared.

For starters the Crab Cakes were disgusting, The dip for the calamari had way to much sugar in it & it had some gelatinous substance on top that would not dissolve or stir into the sauce. Salads were decent. The Lobster Bisque was not like it used to be. Ha better store bought Lobster Bisque. My fillets, lobster tail & shrimp were all over cooked & smothered in butter TONS & TONS of butter! Worst of all the garlic whipped mashed potatoes were INSTANT Potatoes. Our server, Theresa, did a good job.

Dessert here is always my favorite course, being that I never order dessert due to being too full-no room. I like that they don't over feed you, you will be full but it'll be a comfortable full, room to try the best piece of cheese cake ever or other dessert option. It's whipped fluffiness melts in your mouth. Now let me tell you that you CAN order a well done 11oz rib eye steak here & it keep its juicy flavor. This steak will come out on a 500° hot plate sizzling, charred lightly, the fat carmelized & edible, with juice & flavor intact. There is no need to feed yourself warmed raw meet... a pallet I've never indulged in my life & never will. So it's very important for me to be able to find a $55 plate of steak... well done. They have great seafood options according to my company. (Seafood pallet not my thing either) Sides are skimpy but enough surprisingly. Make reservation of course & valet service available. Formal dress code, great wine choices, open bar on lower level, and very nice/private bathroom quarters. They are also on the Devour Indy weekend, half off pricing. This is the only time we can afford to treat ourselves & even then it's pricy, gratuity expected based on percentage of bill. I only take 1 star away because their consistency varies on cooking; not always exactly the way it was made the last time I ate here. My well done steak a week ago did come slightly pink & the fat wasn't edible per usual. But out of a dozen visits that was the only inconsistency. When your paying $50 a plate you should expect the same service as before.

Dined at Ruths Chris Marietta Street Atlanta Ga 6:00pm July 5th 2019. I’m guessing the good staff were off for the July 4th Holiday because our waiter was M.I.A. I understand poor, non-service, at the all you can eat Chinese buffet but Ruths Chris? We spent over $400 at our table and had to beg for drinks, beg for bread, the salads were swimming in dressing, no water service, bills were in correct, super slow getting all courses. The steak quality was excellent! The sides when we did finally receive what we ordered was very good. The place was maybe half full with patrons. I now understand why. There are many top caliber streak houses to choose from in Atlanta. Great service separates the “excellent dinning experience” from the average restaurant meal.

Between your snobby Host Jordan and your alcoholic bartender Trinia who was obviously drunk on the job I dont know who was more unfit and equipped with a nasty spiteful attitude. Been in Atlanta Two weeks stayed in the Embassy Hotel ate here on the regular for the last two weeks and continued to be treated disrespectfully and put on the back burner. The host told me 5 minutes and it took 15-20 minutes every time to seat 1 person so i just went to the bar because it was late and i felt the host purposely refused to seat me because 10 minutes later he was going home!! the bartender was rude it was not packed or anything and Trinia smelled like Alcohol and seemed to be upset or irritated anytime I needed her for anything. I knew she was drunk or drinking because her breathe and how she stumbled on her own feet while walking back and forth to make a drink. All in all my food came out Ok.. wasnt surprised to see they have a Health Inspection score lower than 80 because she didnt wear gloves to get my bread and when she went to the back and came out with it..I smelled alcohol..A pretty bad experience, I hate being avoided when I need help or Silverware for this matter. The host was extremely disrespectful in tone saying its not his job to reset tables for new guest and so forth...Next time will try the buckhead location!! and Yes i took very close looks at names so when I got back DC I could leave a review!

Ambience and service are worth 5 stars, they take your name at the entrance and address you all the way. Low lighting is perfect for romantic celebrations and they have rose petals scattered around the table for you. Servers will offer to take photos for you, provide complimentary water etc. However the New York strip steak ($59) was rather tough (granted I ordered medium well) and too thick for my liking. It was also charred at the edges but I do like it’s smokiness. Steak was served with hot plate and butter on it, which is a very good touch and makes my dining experience much better. I love their grilled asparagus ($14) though. Well cooked with the bbq taste in it. The cocktails are good, $10-$14, strong in alcohol and flavour. Saw someone ordering a flaming dessert which is cool! Overall for the price tag, it’s too expensive for steaks like what we got.

I aways wanted to try this steakhouse and I was not disappointed, the live music was beautiful, The great staff. Martin and Nick, were probably the best I have ever had, very knowledgeable and courteous. We shared the Cowboy Ribeye and it was cooked to perfection. The sides we had were the mash potatoes, asparagus, spring mix salad with delicious blue cheese and lobster bisque was superb. I highly recommend if your in Indianapolis make this your stop, you will not be disappointed.

I was at the hotel attached to the restaurant for a convention. A very large planned far in advance convention. I made reservations for 2 for 730pm. When I arrived 5min early I was told it would be just a few minutes. 45 minutes later I am still waiting for a table, as well as several other people. I went to the front desk of the hotel to ask if they made it a point to notify the restaurant that they should expect to be busy. Of course, since the hotel is sold out, as well as the surrounding properties, the restaurant was not stuffed properly. After an hour we got seated, and then more or less ignored the remained of dinner. We ordered quick and left as soon as we could. Food was not as expected from Ruth's Chris, service was appalling and the fact that they were not prepared for a busy week of convention visitors disappointed me. Check out the surrounding bars and restaurants, I heard good reviews of them.

I came to the downtown Atlanta Ruth Chris Thursday 6/13/2019 and the staff were very professional, punctual and friendly which I appreciated however after visiting several Ruth Chris in several different states I was horribly disappointed by the lack of flavor in my food. I could tell the steak was of good quality however it lacked flavor, the Mac and cheese had a great tasting aged cheese however the dish itself had no flavor, the creamed spinach also had no flavor. You would think that dining in the south would have been a great time for my palette (so wrong) the best thing about dining at this place was my drink (patron and Red Bull) I love the Ruth Chris brand but will never waste my money here again. Left hungry and disappointed.

Before too many days pass me by I must write my review of Ruth’s Chris Steak House. In celebration of my wedding anniversary with my hubby, we decided to try this restaurant (yes, it was impromptu) after having spent a lovely afternoon walking and enjoying our city. It was our first time eating here, we normally go to dining spots like McCormick & Schmick's, White Oak Kitchen or Paschal’s just to name a few. I am very big on customer service, after having worked for a few large companies in the passed and now owning my own business, I understand the importance of providing high quality customer service. Many consumers will never care about how much something costs as long as the quality of service is of gold standards. Now, granted we may not have made a reservation (and I do apologize) I feel that as soon as we walked into the front doors we were instantly judged by our appearance from the host and hostess. (I’m also very good at reading people’s body language and facial expression) So, natural that put a bitter taste in my mouth. We were asked to sit at the bar while we wait for a table to be prepared, about 10 minutes. While at the bar we had the pleasure of meeting Milan the bar tender (my apologies if I spelled your name wrong) I too think he wasn’t sure as to how to read us in the beginning however after a few words of discussion he warmed up to us nicely. And after hearing us mentioned that we were there celebrating he offered to buy us an appetizer. (Thank You for that, you were too kind) Okay ten minutes had passed and another ten minutes was gone. The host never returned to see if we were ready for that table. We ended up having the assistant manager on duty that evening grace us with his presence. (Unfortunately I don’t remember his name however he was very kind) He was kindly apologetic for our wait and he helped my husband and I get settled at one of his tables. (It was humbling to have spoken with him, Thank You) Once we sat, our dining experience was amazing! We were greeted by our waitress Elizabeth, who was no less than perfection. She helped us in making a menu selection and she had perfect timing in checking in on us throughout our meal. Overall I enjoyed my experience at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse and I believe so did my husband. The food was pretty good, my favorite was the shrimp, the calamari and the lobster! The steaks were nice but I will say that because the plates were super hot our steaks kept cooking after we received them, so my husbands medium rare turned to medium well and my medium well steak turned to well done. Christian was exceptional in understanding and fulfilling my take-out request and the Wild berry Lemonade cocktail he made me was very tasty. We tried the chicken for the first time and it will bring us back! Ruth's Chris is known for steak but don't shy from the chicken!

Its been several years since we changed our eating habits & dined at Ruth Chris Steak House. We won't be returning. For starters the Crab Cakes were disgusting, The dip for the calamari had way to much sugar in it & it had some gelatinous substance on top that would not dissolve or stir into the sauce. Salads were decent. The Lobster Bisque was not like it used to be. Ha better store bought Lobster Bisque. My fillets, lobster tail & shrimp were all over cooked & smothered in butter TONS & TONS of butter! Worst of all the garlic whipped mashed potatoes were INSTANT Potatoes. Our server, Theresa, did a good job.

If there’s one issue I would say the parking... they only partially validate down to $7... I would think if you’re going to spend a pretty penny on the food that the valet would be complimentary like the one in Orlando. I definitely would visit again.

Our server Randy only came to check on us once during the entire visit & there was only about 5 families in the restaurant. Also we didn’t even get the desert that was included in our order. The cowboy ribeye steak done in medium with a seasoned hot plate is the way to go. When ordering the tomahawk ribeye done in medium rare, request for the server to cut it up in pupu style and served on a seasoned hot plate too. They can replace another hot plate when it cools down. This is the first time I have been disappointed with the service here! Our food came an hour after we ordered. We finished our water and it wasn’t refilled until after our dinner was completely gone. Both my sons drank someone else’s water who had ordered coffee and tea. At first we had a woman server and then a man came out and started helping us. He helped more than she did. He filled our water, got us butter, wrapped our left overs, etc. I asked the woman server for a dessert menu but she took long so I asked someone else for one. That server got someone else to do it. By this time I was so disappointed with the service I asked for the bill. Instead of waiting for the server to take my payment I brought it up to the hostess to pay and she said let me get your server. I refused to wait for our server so they asked someone else to do it. Uuummm maybe Ruth’s Chris Ala Moana employees should be more well rounded and everyone learn to do multiple tasks rather than waiting around for someone who can actually do the task. (Why can’t the hostess ring up the bill, there was three of them) Just saying! My boys loved their steaks but the lobster was dry. Outback cooks a better lobster and I don’t have an outrageous bill. Overall a disappointing experience! I will try Morton’s in April!

The Lobster Mac and cheese is awesome and it's so much it feed a table of three. And the cheesecake was amazing as well. All in All 10/10. Can't wait for next time

What can I NOT say about his restaurant.. it is one of the premier spots on the Avenue! Downtown Indianapolis/ and Ruth Chris.. Came in for our 9 year wedding anniversary looking forward to a great meal. I asked for my steak to be cooked medium well with very little pink. My steak was brought to the table with blood running out of it. They tried fixing it with a bucket of oil making it even worst. Finally the manager cooked another one but by that time I was full on my husband’s steak. Maybe I’ll try a different location next time.

Completely and fully a wonderful dining experience. Got seated on the lanai fairly quickly during a busy time, service was excellent and the staff was super friendly. Can be a bit pricey, but the New York Strip and Stuffed Chicken was absolutely amazing. Stesak was cooked perfectly to medium-rare and full of flavor. I am going there again, going to make a reservation next time though so I can sit in the dining room since it started sprinkling a bit on my wife and I. Huge MAHALO to everyone there, we had a great time!

Seein­g that the burger cam­e with fries (and not­ seeing any other sid­es on the special men­u), I asked if any ot­her sides were availa­ble. I was told (in a­ dry condescending wa­y) that he can read t­he menu for me if I w­anted. I ordered bro­ccoli (which wasn't ­listed as a side) and­ just left it at that­. Awhile after I got ­the burger, he asked ­if I got the broccoli­ (I already ate it by­ the time he came ove­r to check on me) and­ that was the last ti­me I saw him. Working­ in the service indus­try myself, I gave th­e benefit of the doub­t and assumed that it­ was just a bad/stres­sful workday – until ­I noticed him banteri­ng and joking around ­with the other custom­ers at the bar. Meanw­hile, I had to ask a ­random bartender (for­ the record, everyone­ else was extremely n­ice) for a knife/fork­/napkin and for my ch­eck so I could leave.­ The food was good, b­ut don’t think that I­’ll be making a repea­t visit.

I am very familiar with the CRIS Ruth steakhouse since we have two amazing one in DC. But this one in Atlanta is horrible!!!! The smell inside the restaurant is unbearable. THE BETTER LOCATION is in Waikiki. Don’t go here. Honestly , two stars because it’s Ruth Chris and the experience should be 5 star. First off, the service here is not welcoming or enthusiastic. For the prices we are paying, it has to include experience. Our waiter didn’t even look us in the face while he served us. He would be frustrated with any request and literally laughed at me for requesting roasted garlic and bernaise sauce with my steak. Bar tender was extremely unpleasant. I’ve heard from friends to avoid this location. I should have listened.

I commend your bar staff because that situation should have went differently. Recently went for our anniversary at this location. We went to a more local one (Wilmington NC) and absolutely LOVED the experience from the food, atmosphere, just everything. We were hoping for that exact sparkle this time and was highly disappointed. While we were dining, my husband said "This is Applebee's!" Our food wasn't as good, the staff was ok, and I feel as though we were rushed. Will be back to RC, just not this one.

The service was slow and haphazard. We ordered two steaks done medium, one was cooked all the way through, the other was bloody. All in all it was a serious disappointment.

The only _caveat_ I have concerning this review is that I came here either for the buffet or to have a beer in the afternoon and not their main menu. Regardless of that, the buffet was top notch and the bar was no disappointment either. I just wish I had the time to check out the dinner menu.

The T-bone steak was perfectly cooked but poorly seasoned (insufficient salt). If you need to add salt at the table, there's something wrong. Esp since the steak was of such high quality, thick, juicy and,,,, expensive. Shame,,,

Out of all the food establishments that I have tried, this one is my favorite. Their affordable meals are really worth more than its value. They are delicious and all mouthwatering. In addition, it is a friendly establishment with kind and approachable food servers. They really are mindful of how to please their customers. I am surely recommending this to my family and friends.

Food was fantastic as expected and advertised. Only wish our server was a little more on it because the beer drinkers in our party of 8 had empty glasses for more then 5 minutes several times during our 1.5 hours of dining and celebration. Recommend the calamari appetizer, delicious, and the steaks were cooked to perfection as ordered. Really appreciate that as there is nothing more satisfying then a perfectly cooked aged steak...
