If you like KFC, you'll love Popeyes! The side options here are better, I personally love the red beans & rice! They've been out of mac & cheese all three times that I've been there, so I'm guessing that's really good as well!

We are traveling across the southern states. We just love Popeyes spicy chicken as we don’t get it very often where we live. It is the best. However. In the last 3 states we have NOT gotten our spicy chicken. Just regular. I always order spicy! It is so very delicious. The last 3 places we stopped at starting in canton MS off of 55 south exit 119. Montgomery Al route 65 north exit 168. Not one piece of spicy. Even had to stand in line for about 20 minutes for the spicy to be cooked. Got back to the RV. Not one piece of spicy. Was so very disappointed. Ordered extra green beans.... didn’t happen. Again. Not the first time. we just don’t get it. Someone needs to make sure that Popeyes keep their great reputation. Shame on the workers!

I think seafood needs to come off the menu, because it stunk very bad and the rest of my food, which we had tenders was cold, except my biscuit, which was very good. They took over 5 minutes just to charge my card! The employees seemed nice, but this location, compared to the one on JBER are night and day. This place has some serious overhaul to deal with. Went around dinner time and fresh food that is hot or even warm should not have been a concern. The fish and shrimp smelled old and again was cold. I will never go to this location again.

This place is ridiculously slow. You can see the chicken sitting under the warmer and the sides are sitting there too, yet it took almost 20 min to get my order. I actually had to go up and ask for it. They clearly focus on the drive thru here and let customers stand around inside waiting.

They were talking about inappropriate subjects and made my family uncomfortable. The food is really good, so I'll just go through drive thru next time.

Arrived at the drive thru and waited for a few minutes just to be told "just a minute", waited for 5 minutes before I could even place my order. After that I sat in line for over 20 minutes along with 4 other cars even though the restaurant lobby was empty. Food was good but they had over 20 minutes to make it! Never going back there ever!

I've tried twice to go by since they reopened in Anchorage it's always a long Weight not very good service the last time I Went I ordered and all dark 4 pice there was a brand new fresh hot tray Of spicy chicken out The lady at the counter Chose to give me 3 cold pieces and 1 Hot one I wonder if that was to let the hot chicken get cold so she can serve some more cold chicken to people didn't make any sense to me I'm not sure if I'll go back with that type of treatment

they were out of straws so the cashier in the drive through have me an unwrapped straw that she placed in napkins. They gave me instant mashed potatoes that were undercooked, meaning that is was powdery. So powdery that I thought it was a buscuit. Terrible customer service. Sat in the drive through for 20 minutes. Twice. I love Popeyes which is why I went back again after the first thing, but this is repeated and disgusting.

Honestly the worst popeyes I have ever been to. took 5 mins waiting at the window before anyone even took my order. Took about 15 mins total to get through the line with 2 people in front of me who only ordered one small bag each. When I did get my food it was totally wrong. Not only did they not even give me my drink when I got my food and I had to park and go in, I recieved mashed potatoes instead of red beans and rice and the chicken was regular instead of spicy like I ordered. Seriously bad service. Food was decent, albeit wrong.

In the past, service was always slow and unprofessional at this location. So much so that I avoided it like the plague. Went in for lunch yesterday after my wife told me of a recent drive thru experience that she had here. She said that apparently there is new management at this location and they went above and beyond for her. After my recent lunch visit, I have to agree. Service was welcoming, swift, and proficient. My meal hot and fresh, the restaurant was clean, including the bathroom. Whatever the change is, keep it up! It's a very welcome change.

Pretty good location as far as fast food places go. There was a Coke Unlimited machine in the lobby so you can get 100+ variable flavors of soda & drinks and the lobby was clean.

I had to repeat much order 3 or 4 times, they still got it wrong. By the time I was able to go in and get my food the rest 2as cold. I was asked 8f I would like them to microwave my chicken. I just left at that point get to my shop and realized they still never gave me my slaw. The food I did get wasn't bad but the service is less than desirable.

Haven't eaten fried chicken for quite some time, perhaps a year. Is it me or are these chains now serving tiny portions? I vividly recall a thigh and a breast being satisfying. Along with some slaw and a biscuit and it was a meal. No longer. I got a 5 piece thinking I would snack on a piece later. It was not to be. When left with my carry out, the actual heft of my hard earned meal felt decidedly light. Unfortunately I was correct. Service was fine, taste as to be expected but it took 4 pieces together with slaw and rice, also in minimal portions to be adequately sated. So much for treating myself to a cook free Sunday dinner. Unless you've got money to burn save it and yourselves the disappointment.

I like Popeyes in general, but this location is pretty bad. First if all, it’s not that clean. Every time I go in it just looks closer to grimy than shiny. Second of all, they mess up orders, even when it’s very slow. I was in there a few weeks ago when no other customers were there. We ordered a dozen chicken tenders and biscuits to go. They asked if I wanted spicy and I said no, so they told me I’d have to wait while they cooked them. That was fine...I’ll wait for fresh chicken any time! But unfortunately, when I got the food home, the tenders were not only spicy, but VERY spicy. We couldn’t eat them due to stomach issues and so had to throw the whole box of chicken away. Dinner was 2 biscuits each...cost= about $24.00. Pretty expensive biscuits, huh? Very annoying considering I sat at a table and waited 15 minutes for them to cook non-spicy chicken. And it is ain’t like they confused my order with someone else’s, since we were the only ones there! It will be a while before I give this place another try. I don’t like throwing $24 in the garbage.

Worst place ever!!!! Ordered 2 simple meals. 2 # 3 one mild, one spicy both with a breast. When I got it home neither one was spicy and only 1 had a breast in it. I tried to call back 15 times with no answer. So I drove back to the store and asked for a manager. It took 15 mins for the manager to cone out and see me. While i was waiting i watched as the workers got 3 orders wrong back to back. They forgot to bring fries out to a woman they had pulled up to wait for fries. One of the workers kicked a metal object across the floor and then didnt bother to pick it up. When the manager came out she made me step outside and the only option i was given to make it right was to replace the food right then. I had already explained to her that I dropped it off for my daughter and I was downtown taking care of some business when I got the text that the order was wrong. So my daughter and her boyfriend had already eaten it. I asked for a refund and she said no because they ate the food. I asked What was she supposed to do....starve while she waited for me to finish my business downtown and she should make it right because of her employees incompetence. She told me the only option I had was to replace the food right then. She didn't even offer to replace it on a different day. And then she told me to have a good day and went inside. She Also told me at the begining of our conversation that she had to call the police on another customer because of a complaint.

I deliver for Postmates. I am in the drive thru placing an order. Popeyes is out of chicken sandwiches again so I must call my customer and see if they want to substitute. I say to the drive thru person (Itzo) to go ahead and make the first item and I will come in for fir the substitute item. When I go inside to fix the order. Kimberly barks at me to stand in line. First off it isn't my fault you are out of sandwiches. Secondly I placed the order and due to your fault needed it fix and then you are rude. Maybe us Postmates driver should boycott this Popeyes as the staff is rude and the management certainly can"t stick or staff the place effectively as it took 30 minutes from start to finish.

Dam popeyes is my splurge once ever few months. We recently moved to the part of town and was looking forward to some popeyes. First off the guy at the drive up window didn't understand very much and seemed very new. It took me at least 4 times to tell him what drink we ordered. Once we got home of course, we where missing 2 sides for my sons meal. I was to tired from working all day to deal with driving back. Theres no pride in work anymore. I get it, its fast food, employees aren't paid much. Come on just a little pride in the food. The chicken was not cooked enough. Cat fish was doughy inside. Gravy was ice cold. Just done with it.

When i got to the window to pick up my order I asked her about it and she said it co?s with the meal if I want it.. Wow train your people.during ordering When I asked about the buttermilk shrimp advertised on tv she said to me and I quote" I don't know what that is and I don't know if we have it."... Really??? Very seldom I have visited this Popeye's and my order has been correct! During my most recent visit to this Popeye's location for the Popeye's Bigger Box which includes 2 apple pies, I did not receive them, including additional items included in this order. (As I didn't on my previous visit, either. However, I didn't check my order before leaving so, I wasn't aware until I got home. Therefore, I didn't care to drive all the way back to this location so, I took it as a loss.) I attempted to inform the cashier immediately after checking my order before leaving the drive thur window. However, she adamantly continued to repeatedly tell me that everything that I had ordered was in the bag. I then just requested a refund rather than to argue with her. I definitely will not be returning to this location again.

So I've tried to go to this location a few times since its reopening. I can say that I have become accustomed to slightly slower service and longer than usual wait times for fulfillment. It doesn't appear that this reopening has changed much of the expectations concerning experience. At least the food makes the wait times worth it. It's still a pretty clean establishment!

A/C was out, but it wasn't unbearably hot inside. We ordered their new chicken sandwich combos, which come with a side and a drink. I asked for a bottled water and was charged an extra 20 cents although the water was listed as the same price as a small drink. I also had to ask twice for that bottled water.

Being from South Louisiana I know Cajun food, and this Popeyes is genuine! I highly recommend those who haven't had Popeyes yet to make it out there. My favorite thing they have is their homemade biscuits! Delight in a box!!

I love the Popeye's franchise, however this is probably the worst location to get chicken from. Waited 25 minutes for a 4 piece spicy meal, got home and only had 2 pieces, figured with that long of a wait I'd have extra chicken. They are consistent with the horrible service, thought things would change since they've recently reopened, same owner same service. If you can get on base they've got a really good Popeye's out there.

If your looking to waste money and not eat much at all this is the spot. We spent over $30 plus here on two people and this was a side. Most of it was over done and hard and only when we got home to eat it did we see just how bad it was. Plus no butter for the biscuits. We called to see what we could do and had the phone picked up and hung up on us. This place closed once and to be honest maybe should have stayed closed. We will not be eating hear again. KFC IS JUST DOWN THE ROAD.

I'm usually a huge fan of this chain but this location in particular has disappointed me both times I went in recently. The cashiers seem like its totally ruining their day to have a customer in there ordering food. I don't expect red carpet service but the eye rolls and overall attitude is so offensive. Also... they were out of all 3 of the dessert items they offer tonight.. the cashier waited to tell me until after I paid(no big deal.) But..... He then turned around and went back about bagging other orders and I asked if he was gonna refund me for the item they were out of... i got 1 of the 2 dollars back ... I'll never go in again.

I ordered 3 of the 3.99 specials... first they didn't have any spicey chicken... okay cool... then they were out of wings... well dang... then they were out of legs... so I got all thighs... I also ordered a large fry when I looked in the box it was barely a small so I said something to the cashier and she told me she thought I didn't want to wait any longer (since I waited so long for chicken and biscuits that were already done) she just put what they had in there... where was the manager you may wonder... well she was talking to her son CJ and an old friend I guess she hadn't seen in a while that just happen to come in... CJ has a son and her friend has a granddaughter a grandson and a grandson on the way... the manager visits this club every now and again but she hasn't been this year yet she's not interested in any of the men cause she doesn't need their lies but she likes to flirt... yeah I just threw that in because that's how long the convo lasted... 2 people walked out after I ordered because it was taking so long just to give their order... it was not busy just extremely unorganized and confusing

Messed up our order twice. My wife ordered mild chicken strips and when we get to the table she had 3 pieces of chicken. Seems like they've gotten a new crew in recently. The chicken was super hot and of course juicy. I'd give the seating area a 'B' for clealiness. The kitchen area appeared clean from what I could see. After being asked 3 times if I was sure I wanted to wait 15 to 20 minutes for them to cook chicken for my 9 piece order .. which is bad when a chicken place runs out of chicken an hour and a half before they close .. and the employees ask 3 times to confirm the order and wait time as a way of trying to get you to not order .. which shows alot of poor management but when you order a nine piece meal with mashed potatoes and get rice ..and it turns out the manager appears to be the person that took the order plus it takes 38 minutes to get the order ...I would say your in the wrong business and you should probably close the doors until you can properly staff

In fact, the employee rang up the guy right before us and then literally turned his back on us without a greeting. "I'll be right with you" or anything to that effect would have sufficed. I waited a few few seconds and tried to make eye contact with anyone working and NOT ONE EMPLOYEE stopped to say anything. 7 to 10 minutes is unacceptable for initial contact or greeting of any kind especially in a "fast food" restaurant. Even more so during lunch hour. I had to literally yell "is anyone going to help us". Only then did a girl say "we'll be right with you". Terrible.

Good chicken but the portions are very small. It’s like fried mini chicken. Today I got my chicken and I ordered an apple pie and they gave me an apple pie that had not been baked yet or deep-fried or however they cook them. I also noticed that they had a whole new crew because the last time I was there the service was horrible!!! I waited 40 minutes for my food and before that I waited 20 minutes in line! I am a southern gentleman who definitely loves his friend chicken and Popeye's easily satisfies my cravings. The flavor of the chicken never dissapoints and the sides are great. The only drawback is (and this varies from location to location) that they can get skimpy on the sides. Sometimes they are filled to the brim and others it will be half full. All in all, if you love fried chicken then don't bother with the competition. Popeye's is where it's at!

Super hit or miss. Either it takes 20-30 minutes to get your food, but it’s great, or it takes 10 minutes and it’s just ok. I feel like they either have to make food fresh (which I’m ok with when I know to expect a wait) or you’re getting chicken that’s been under a heat lamp for an hour. I have yet to have a short wait time and food that tastes relatively fresh. It’s always at least ok, and it’s getting better, but they still need some work.

Unless you just really, really want a piece of chicken from an establishment with the name Popeyes, save yourself some wear and tear. There's not enough space here to talk about it fairly. It just seems like the owners must not care. I've worked in cash strapped restaurants that have done better.

Staff was non helpful, couldn't get the order right, I'll paint a picture: "Welcome to Popeye's" Can I get a number 7 combo and a second number 7 combo with spicy chicken? " Total is (inaudible) at the second window" I asked for the combo " Oh that's 3 dollars more" That's fine. I wanted the combo for both. "Here you go" (hands me two boxes that feel suspiciously light) I ordered the combo "That's 3 dollars more" I know you charged me for it. (showing the receipt) "Let me get a manager"

Went tonight and ordered 12 piece spicy. Was told there would be a wait of 20 minutes, agreed to wait and was offered a complementary drink while waiting. Got my order but it was the wrong one given to me by mistake. Called and the manager apologized, i told him i hadn't touched the food and would bring it back and he told me it was alright to keep for the inconvenience. He said he'd fry up a new batch and asked if i could return to receive it. I arrived and both he and the employee apologized for the mix up and again offered a complementary drink. The food was very hot and fresh and myself and my family really enjoyed the chicken. Very pleasant and overall experience!

I usually don't eat at this location, because I had an awful first experience with the food here in the past. It was just hard, nasty, and old. But I only live like 5 minutes away. So I really wanted to try the chicken strips, and fried shrimp meal they were advertising. Its been awhile since my first experience with them. Everything was so good. It was very fresh, and the portions were nice. I was very satisfied and full. All I thought about was the food. So the next day, for dinner, I couldn't wait to get there to order the same meal. Got home, I was so very disappointed. It tasted nothing like the day before. It was hard, and old. The portions were much smaller then the day before. Very disappointed.

I have been here 3 times since reopening. I waited 45 minutes the first time 28 minutes the second, and today I came in One last time. I waited 10 minutes to be waited on (nobody ahead of me in line) 5 tables sitting in restaurant. I have now been waiting for my fish platter for 1 person for 20 MINUTES and now, was just told, sorry no green beans. At 11:40 am. 20 minutes into my order. Service is horrible. I went here in my lunch break and ordered my food and was asked if I would like a drink added on to my meal. I proceeded to tell the young lady yes. So I pull around to pay for my food and the lady at the window tells me that they long rung me up for my food and not a drink and that she can’t add it to my meal at the window. WHAT TYPE OF BS IS THAT. So after 3 mins of telling this idiot at the window I ordered a drink, I decided to call in the store and complain to the manager. They didn’t even answer the phone! So I called corporate. I will continue to complain and until this issue is fixed with these people with nasty attitude that are mad because THEY MESSED UP!

This was my review from a year ago. Always the best Chicken and Biscuits, no one comes close. If you like KFC, you will love Popeyes My Latest Experience, 100% Disappointed, actually pretty upset. Went in to order a $48 family meal. No one at counter, two ladies to the side, talking, not business, actually nothing about how she doesn't like this and that employee because they ignore her and don't listen. I am being 100% hear. I stood there waiting being ignored, yet in plain site to both of them for at least four minutes. Never said a word to me, never attempted to take my order, just kept talking and ignoring me. So I finally turned to walk out, and the witch, says have a good day. For the management, she was Caucasian,s like a supervisor, oversized, with no customer service skills. Serious change needs to happen there.

Drive thru service is terrible. They can't hear you and you can't hear them. The chicken is never ready when you come after 3 pm. Whether it's drumsticks Wings breasts or thighs you always have to wait 20 minutes in addition to the time it takes to order. The good thing is they run the specials but the time it takes you to get the special is not worth it. Hopefully their Corporate Offices will realize that they need to come and overhaul this location otherwise people will start going to other cities.

Omg... I don't know what to tell you... But the last couple times I have been there especially tonight, we have waited over 30 minutes in the Drive-Thru. There was one poor girl working the drive-thru window and that's it. I felt so sorry for her... I saw the manager outside of the restaurant screaming to someone on her phone & it looked all hell was breaking loose inside the restaurant... the manager didn't seem to be very concerned that there was a huge line of cars at the drive-thru and the traffic was moving so darn slow. Terrible. We ordered a 16 piece family meal. We initially asked for all spicy, but we're told that they only had spicy wings and breasts and it would take about 15 minutes. In the meantime, we also ordered three drinks and a water. We were charged $1.79 for a water cup. The water was the color of soda initially, but after letting it run, it appeared clear but tasted like the sewer. My husband and children attempted to get their drinks but there was no sweet tea or lemonade only watered down soda. We informed the employees but they simply said ,"we know". As a family, we spent $7.47 on drinks we couldn't drink and we're not offered any solutions. We continued to wait on our food. At about the 20 minute mark we saw the chicken boxed but were still waiting. We asked about it and they said we were waiting on the biscuits. We waited over 30 minutes and again inquired about our food, the manager then said, the biscuit machine was acting up. She hadn't volunteered this info nor thought to ask if a substitution could be accepted. Since we were now past the 30 minute mark, we asked for a refund. Would you believe the manager deducted the cost of the drinks, which we left on the table and didn't drink because of the taste. I'm beyond disappointed in the service we received and WILL NOT return to any Popeyes in the foreseeable future.
