Price is high considering the portion size. If you are really hungry I would not recommend. You will leave hungry. I was wondering if this was just dine - in. However, I order a to-go plate for my daughter. The desert was ridiculous, so disappointing. My I ordered baked beans. There were about a dozen beans the rest was soup. Mac-n-Cheese was good but two bites and it was gone. Roast beef was tasty but again a few bits and it was all over. My wife had apple pie for dessert. It was more like apple dough. Exchange for the blueberry pie. It was good but again I'm amazed at how little they can serve in an already tiny bowl. So I say again; Price is high considering the portion size. If you are really hungry I would not recommend. Price is high considering the portion size, or lack there of. Bon Appétit.

The prices are outrageously high for 2 all you can eat salad bars 1 sweet potato and 2 drinks was $28.94. And 1 plate is all they brought out for the all you could eat. But the only good thing I can say about the place is the salad bar was good and our little waiter was good

This is one of my favorite lunch spots when in Winfield. The food is good, and you get a lot for reasonable prices. The environment is dark in a good way, as you feel a sense of privacy in the room.

Absouloutly the worst place to eat..cold service and a cold dinner ensures I won't be back anytime soon...great theme, not great service...for my first time I had to wait 30 min and have other customers served before me when I know I ordered 20 min before anyone else was there

Visited eith friends. Busy place decorated with pictures of current local high school athletes and cheerleaders. Fairly standard menu for restaurants in northern Alabama. Nothing distinct from other restaurants in the area. You see one, you seen them all, in terms of the selection. Think burgers, chicken, pork BBQ and fried catfish. We were amused that considering the amount of clipart in the menu featuring compass roses, boats, fish, ocean scenes, there are only 3 seafood dishes on the entire menu

Went to hear Joseph Baldwin, an Alabama musician, play. Had dinner as well. Local restaurant, good food and salad bar. Friendly management and staff. I had a wonderful time, and a great dance with a pretty and gracious host.

Great little place in the middle of nowhere. Excellent burger and service. Interesting lighting but it fit the asthetic well. The place is clean and service was relatively quick.

Not impressed, totally blackened toast, old baked potato, would have told the waitress yes, but she never returned to the table after our food was served. Salad bar was good but two entrees with one side and side salad and water was $28 for lunch.

PIRATES DEN in Winfield you were rude we WERE the only people there when we walked in FACT if you have cameras check them boo boo not only did you DELIBERATELY ignore us after taking our order you served people who were there AFTER us also FACT when we asked for the check for our drinks you had the audacity to say we were there after your big table here is a hint do your job especially for people that are there for their VERY FIRST TIME again CHECK YOUR CAMERAS

Wonderful atmosphere, FANTASTIC staff, and delicious food. The steak I ordered was hands down the BEST steak I have ever had!! I was absolutely impressed. And the salad bar has a large variety and is my favorite in the area. Kudos Pirate's Den!!

If you're hungry and want your meal the way you want it ,make a bologna sandwich with your favorite chips before you go here, at least then you will have something made right. I've been here three times which turned out to be three times too many. Overpriced, LONG wait for our food, and every meat I ordered was either way over or way undercooked. They have a good salad bar but that's it as far as my experience showed. One visit I ordered a steak that took three times to get my plate right. When they brought my steak back which was then cooked right, they forgot to bring back my side with it. My last visit I decided to order something simple, a cheeseburger with a salad as my side, no mustard, no tomato, which in fact came back with both. After removing them I bit into a chard piece of meat that about chipped a tooth. When I went to pay they removed the burger from the bill but charged me for a full salad price rather than a side price saying that the waitress shouldn't have offered me a salad as a side since burgers usually comes with fries. Guess that was my fault though, I should have studied their food rules before I ordered. I usually don't make remarks or leave reviews but this place really got to me.
