The only positive thing I can say is that they got my drink order correct through the drive through. At 6:40 AM I proceeded to the drive through ordered a Number 10 - Steak,egg,cheese bagel. There was one car ahead of me when I arrived and I waited about 5 minutes for that order to be filled. At my turn, I proceeded to the "2nd window", paid my $7.36 and received my soda. I was instructed to go to the double door entrance and my order would be out. I proceeded and after waiting 11 minutes, I turned off my car, walked in. Ok...still no-one to acknowledge my presence. Finally, I asked the woman who kept looking if my bagel was ready and she handed me a bag...You got it right. When I got to work, opened my breakfast - no steak, egg, and cheese...rather a bacon and egg. I hate bacon! Never again and I'm a local to this McDonalds in Gulf Shores, AL.

Homeless people everywhere inside and out harassing you. Restaurant is filthy, employees are rude. Ordered the 8 strips meal for 9.69 and I'm told the total is 13.85 after tax. When I question the 40% tax I'm told by "the manager" if I want the food that's what I'm going to pay. So I left. Worst McDonald's around.

Love this place. My 5 month old baby had a appointment with her cardiologist at Women's and infants. I was driving a vehicle too large for parking in their lot or the parking decks. No one around would allow me to use their parking spaces. So, I went in this McDonalds and offered to pay for a parking place, even though I wasn't eating there. The lady behind the counter was really sweet and allowed me to park for no charge. Bless these people who still have a heart.

Will never return to this location . Had to go inside due to 5 cars in drive through all with there parking lights on due to long wait .while inside the one person taking orders told me to “hang on” after waiting in line. She then proceeded to get a water for someone behind me and then went to get a wipe for a table and then walked away with out even looking up again . Myself and two other customers walked right out . No need for you to be in business if you can to take orders ! Also this “employee” needs to be trained on what her job is ? I was unaware that McDonalds makes any profit on giving it water and wiping down tables over taking orders form paying customers !!!

If you can actually get service, help or your food right... it’s a miracle. If someone picks the phone up your lucky. The store manager is rude. Other employees don’t seem to care. I mean even as a local all year round it’s a disappointment. After thirty minutes of calling and trying to revisit the store no one seems to care about quality or issues. It’s pretty pathetic. Went to get some ice cream and shakes at 11 pm. They said the lobby was closed but we just made it in the back door. They said the shake machine was broken. Best show of incompetency i've ever witnessed by a fast food location! I stood and watched for 10 mins at the front counter while waiting on the cashier to check out the lady in front of me, then me. She could not check us out because she was too busy chasing a woman down in the parking lot who had not paid for her mcflurry. (The cashier never asked her for her money?!?) Over 8 employees/managers were crowded around counting a drawer down that apparently had come up short, all the while, not paying any attention to customers, waiting to have their orders taken. I even knew how much was in that drawer because the shift manager was yelling it across the store to the cashier who was using the drawer. Needless to say, I left because of the long wait and the bold incompetency that I was witnessing. I think a regional manager should babysit this store for awhile..

McDonald's get your act together. I use the mobile app to order & pay for my food. Recently there has been some changes to the app & now when I order & pay for my food through the app I get to the restaurant and get told that it didn't go through & I have to pay again. Now before paying the 2nd time I have been able to check recent activity & I have seen where there is a charge & then a cancelation of the charge. Okay so I go through the drive-thru becauseI'm short on time for work and I sit there for about 10 minutes finally make it to the window repeat my order to the lady running the counter her name was Morgan and she realizes that she didn't mark extra onions when she had my sandwiches sitting in the window so what she did was still take my money still hand me my order and grabs my receipt crumbles it up throw it in the trash well I'm still there looking at her so I didn't notice that it said no onions I come around the building realize there is no extra onions she put no onions the whole order was wrong and the menu board outside the digital menu board did not even show my order as I was ringing it up as I was telling it to her so I am highly dissatisfied with her and the service that I experienced today and I'll probably be going to Foley McDonald's from now on this is ridiculous and she should have fixed my order when she noticed there was a mistake the unfortunate thing is is the manager on duty at the time was standing at the window you could replay the recording on the tapes and knew that I said extra onion still didn't do nothing about it I came inside she fix the problem without an issue whatsoever and was nice but she knew there was an issue in the beginning

This is one of the worst locations in Birmingham. I ordered quite a few things in the drive-thru. Of course I had to pull up only to wait about 10 minutes on my food to be brought out. As soon as I checked the bag I noticed that some the gs were missing out of the bag. I went back in to get what was missing (so I thought). After leaving with what I thought was everyhting, I get half way down the street I ly to realize that I was still missing the 2 biscuits. Unfortunately when I went in my bag to look for the receipt to my surprise there was NO RECIEPT!!!!!! I just decided to charge it to the game because it was just too much to go back and ask for the biscuits. However, this is not the first time this has happened at this restaurant. It happened to me before a year ago and I vowed NEVER to return. I forgot. But this is so unfortunate to keep having this to keep happening. There is always something missing off of the order. Especially when its a larger order. And you qould think that with all of the managers on the floor they wouldnt make mistakes like this.

There should be a zero rating for this one. I've waited up to 20 minutes at the menu before being acknowledged at least 3 times (I was stuck with cars in front and back of me, so I've been trapped), and every time I actually get my order, it's always wrong. The only reason we went to McDonald's is because our son likes the chicken nuggets. The food was horrible and cold with the stale French fries. I ordered the Big Mac with bacon. It had 1 half of a piece of bacon on it, NO Mac sauce.....and the 2 burnt day old meat patties were smaller and thinner than my nieces cheese burger happy meal patty. Probably the fastest McDonalds breakfast I've ever received. I think they had on the counter hot and ready before I had the receipt in my pocket. They have sweet tea and iced tea beside the fountain drink dispenser and that was very cool. This place is horrible, my mother in law is in the hospital at UAB, my sis in law and I walked here for early supper yesterday, she ordered 3Mcchikens only ketchup, large fries and 2large drinks, the other half of our order was 2 cheeseburger meals, two plain, and the other two only ketchup and pickles, the cashier didn't ring it up right, and then said they couldn't make them plain, and she tried to give us two large cokes, and left off the two that came with meal, had to tell her again we had 4, then she charged me for another large drink, and kept my change, then they left out a cheeseburger, and said they didn't, and it was still wrong, none were plain and only one was pickle and ketchup, the manager did that she was told 4times how it was supposed to be fixed, and they were rude to both of us, another worker got mad because another customer asked for sweet tea, because it was out in the lobby, she says well thats not my job! Oh but it is! I have worked for McDonalds before, and that's not how you treat people, and the place was nasty! I hope your corporate office sees this! I think they all need fired!

The line was running a bit slow so we were like "Oh yeah, we're getting fresh food and hot fries!" WRONG. We get to the window and the guy could barely speak english. I use to love McDonald's as a kid but now i see more the customer service side. Everytime ive ever walked up to the receiving counter to ask for something i get completely ignored by the staff for a good five six minutes sometimes long. I understand they are very busy but they should at least acknowledge the customer to reassure them there going to be waited momentarily. I have 4 children and take them to McDonald's sparingly using our visits there as a special treat; because of this, we always enjoy our visits and leave happy. We most often utilize the drive thru; however, whether inside the establishment or out, the service we've received has been polite, quick, efficient, and accurate. Also, the interior, and exterior, of this McDonald's is clean and well cared for. Well deserving of a 5-star rating. Of note: For those visiting McDonald's, with children, the indoor play place for kiddos is mainly for smalls. Any child, of average height and weight, who is 7 years old or younger would find the play equipment fun and enjoyable; however, kiddos aged 8 and up would most likely find it to be a bit boring/too small for them to play on.

I love going to McDonalds. They are always very clean, the service is prompt, and usually a smile is included. Today was no exception! The young man who took care of me made sure the chocolate chip cookies were just as I asked. This location has earned 3 stars because the food was hot and the gentleman at the delivery/food window (if that's what it's called). However, the person taking the payments wasn't friendly at all. It was almost as if they were mad to be at work, or they were pissed they had to work the window. However, on the bright side as aformentioned the woman at the payment window was a pain to deal with. The line was extremely long, but I have no complaints there because it was lunch time in a busy city. This place is terrible. Both drive ways to order sign said open but that was untrue. We had to back up and go to the other drive way. We started saying hello after no one said anything for 2-3 minutes. Then worker comes on stating that they ate only doing cash. I said okay and she just stated to pull up. Never took my order. Two cars were ahead of me in line. Waited 10 minutes then a worker comes out talking loud to someone and stated someone put there hands on her so I guess she was quitting since she left. I just backed up and went home. Bad business to be down town!

McDonald's advertises that you can receive a fresh grilled quarterpounder on request. Most locations behave as if they do not understand my request for a fresh grilled sandwich... include this location reacting to my request in the same perplexing manner .When I asked for grilled onions it is as if I asked for prosciutto on my burger, or they state they no longer serve crispy onions or they put more raw onions on my sandwich. Yes I've contacted corporate. The response from McDonald's was inadequate no reason to go into details. However, what set me on fire is after telling me that they don't grill my onions I was served a pink burger.... really

I’ve been going to this McDonalds for a while now and this by far has been the worst experience hands down. After dealing with this girl at the drive through part who could not take my order to save her life, she got the main things we asked for wrong. Both of our quarter pounder burgers were still fairly pink on the inside, yet the buns were covered in grease. One of the burgers were supposed to have no onions, we found it covered with them. After confirming we want cheese on our burgers we get home and find no cheese on them. The fries were soggy and lukewarm after a 5 minute drive home. I’m baffled by this experience and utterly disappointed. Will not be going to the Gulf Shores McDonald’s ever again after this.

I just went to this McDonald's. I ordered. I received a bag. When I got home and opened it, it had less than half of what I ordered in the bag. I went back, gave them my receipt and explained what happened. The hag at the front then proceeded to tell me that I was mistaken, and I didn't just open an almost completely empty bag. I spent 10 minutes arguing with this moron, and by the time I got my damn food, I was furious. It's now obvious why these people make minimum wage. Don't ever go here. For the rest of my life, I will never come to this McDonald's again.

Went to McDonald's for strawberry milkshake for a friend at providence extended care. Was told machine was broken. We t to another McDonalds close by. They also had a broken milkshake machine. Next week went back to first McDonald's. Asked for strawberry shake again. Don't have strawberry. Settled for chocolate. Disappointed in McDonald's service. What can I say, more often than not the drive thru is littered with employees that have never worked in their life. More training is needed for these high turn over staff members. But even if this store had 0.1 stars on google, I doubt their business would be affected. It's a standard McDonald's, except this specific one seems to mix up orders and give you unpaid for food more often than not so 2/5 from me.

I emailed the owner once about trash in the drive through and parking lot, instead of addressing the issue they told me it was due to a concert in Orange Beach, "rough crowd" was the term they used. Left a bad feeling that lingers still, everyone that owns a business here should do their part to make the island the best place in Alabama to visit, or they should leave. The restaurant itself is ok, we eat here occasionally, but I will never forget how the owner responded to a report of trash at their business. The owners name phone and email is posted at the drive through

The service sucks and the Manager today got an attitude with me because I didn’t pick up my order when she called out the wrong ticket number! She called out 311 and my ticket said 111, so I hesitated and stayed that it wasn’t my ticket number. She argued with me that I ordered the same thing and should have known that was my order! Obviously, she doesn’t make mistakes, or she just can’t apologize and be civil about it.

The manager on duty was a scrooge. Not friendly at all. However, the employee that waited on us at the register was super nice. The manager put our trays of food together. We had 2 separate orders. Pancakes on each. I got 1 syrup. The next tray got 2. He asked for another one. The manager pointed at his tray and started " There's 2 on there." He told her he wanted another one. She huffed and have him one. The one employee came by our table and asked if we were fine. That's when I asked for another syrup. I got one without hesitation.

My mother and a friend and I went to this location to have breakfast this Morning, I failed to note the young man's name but he was polite, he delivered us our coffee to us early snd later our meals. He was very young, probably his first job, but he was cheerful, respectful, accommodating and it was refreshing to see such a good work attitude from such a young man eager to be so happy in his work and happy to serve us. This young man really stood out with his cheerful attitude. This young man will go far in his working life with a work ethic like that. Whatever he does, where ever he goes, I just know he'll be a success. I'm going to phone up the location tomorrow because I believe he deserves to know how McDonald's made a right choice in hiring him and how he has done his job so joyfully and sincerely. He truly cared about the people he served. It made the whole day take on a nice note because of him. I wanted to edit this because I forgot to add that a person like this is Management material. This young man will go far, he knows how to work, he knows how to treat people, he's just a people person. I never met this young man before, but If I owned a company, I'd pay him three times as much to work for me! I was that impressed.

Worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. The drive through takes forever. Allow for 40 minutes if you’re planning on using the drive through. It doesn’t matter if there is only three cars in the line, it still takes way too long. The management and customer service are horrible. They are hateful to their customers. I would say my order is wrong 75% of the time. If I could give zero stars, I would.
