Ordered take out, fried chicken w. mashed potatoes, green beans and Banana Pudding for two which costs $26,00. The chicken was dry and small, and the Banana Pudding really not that great. The veggies were too greasy, beans too salty. $26 are not justified

Good food but NOT worth the price. For 2 adults and 1 child it was $52!! When we asked the owner to explain the bill he was super rude. We’ve been going after church for 2 years now and the prices keep going up. We won’t be back again. They totally nickel and dimed us. Upcharge for pot roast, $.50 for water and a fee for using our debit card. Outrageous.

The prices are unreal high. Charges for water! 1 meat & 2 veggies & water = $13.19 Food was average. Compared to Hartleys in Chelsea where the food is better and the price for same is $10 for same meal. I will not eat here again.

Met a friend here for lunch last week and really enjoyed it. This is a no thrills cafeteria style meat & 3, but everything was spot on. I got the pecan chicken and would definitely have it again. The food is priced reasonably and the portions were large enough to fill me up. A must try if you are in the mood for some good southern cooking.

Food was delicious! Good southern cooking, perfectly seasoned. Staff was very friendly, cafe was clean. I was disappointed in the price though, our bill was over $30 for lunch! It was great and we may go back if on that side of town, but it was definitely priced too high for lunch in my opinion. Would have given 5 stars if it was cheaper

Food was really good and worth 4 stars. The price however was outrageous. 1 meat 2 sides and a water costs 14 dollars. Portions are pretty small too. Service was nice and would return but it’s hard to choose here over much cheaper lunch options.

The food is good. It is fast. But I think they over value their food. For 3 people: meat and 3, kids plate, 3 veggies; the cost with tip was $48. It is in a good location and has a good Southern atmosphere.

Food was good but nothing out of the ordinary and actually lacking in choices and originality On the plus side, they were very friendly and cleanliness is obviously a priority. I am in the food industry and appreciate the concept. $30 is just two kuch for two people at lunch for chicken breast, limes, green beans and water..period

I saw the cafeteria style and thought it would be reasonable pricing. Nothing fancy about place or elaborate. When I went to pay was shocked. Food was good But Not that good. Too many other places have same type good food for half price and and people who cater to tables. Will Never go back or refer anyone.

Would not go there to eat because they add a fee for different meats, they add a feee for using a credit card. Too DAMN pricey for my family My wife and my meal for one meat and two veg's. was over 32.00 with my card, and wasn't told about the card fee until I called about the cost. The man at the register give me a menu for possible future visits. After we got home, I tried to figure the amount charged to my card, according to the menu with prices. So, I called to try understand the charges. Was told the market price on beef was up that day and told about the card fee.. After the fact, my feeling is it is a royal rip off to eat there. We won't be back

Let me just tell you how overrated, overpriced, and how below average this place really is. Any meat with two 2 veggies and drink shouldn't cost you $15 anywhere! Below average taste, below average portions, and below average staff. Remember Morrison's Cafe and Piccadilly restaurants?!?! Those restaurants were five stars compared to this retirement facility! Save your money and your taste buds; go somewhere else!

Food is fine but prices are out of control. My wife and I each had 1 piece of catfish and two sides and the price out the door was right at $32.00 ....AND WE HAD WATER TO DRINK. Totally out of control for steam table meet and veggie place. (Charged extra because we used a debit card also). Not going back.

We try to eat at Magnolia Cafe often. Their food is always delicious and priced reasonable. They are wonderful hosts and give fine service. My favorite Sunday lunch is pot roast with all the trimmings! Desserts are the best and my sons love banana pudding.

Wow. Prices are way high. $7.50 for ONE catfish filet. I ended up paying $15.00 for that one filet, greens and tomatoes. Didn’t even get a drink.

Food was sub-par, (not flavorful, overcooked) -and grossly overpriced. I had baked chicken breast, green beans, okra, sweet potatoes and a sweet tea. It came to 17.88 after tax and included their .68 cent charge for using a card for payment! Cashier (older man) was indifferent and unfriendly. They don’t seem interested in having new customers. Seems like one of those places that will stay in business because of loyal customers who are used to settling for less.

A homey clean restaurant that is a bit pricey. They incorporate tons of hot sauce in their recipes. I’ve never had fried green tomatoes battered in hot sauce before and was shocked when my mouth was set on fire! If this isn’t hot enough there are 3 different kinds of hot sauce on each table. The cook said they do not add pepper to their food but add hot sauce. Other food items were saucy. (By the way they charge 50c per water with self service.)Owner was indifferent. My advice is go to Cracker Barrel for better food and be served for less money. We will not return.
