Food was great! Fajita quesadillas were fabulous. My mom got fish tacos. They asked about veggies or slaw and she went with veggies (thinking on the side) and they were actually on the taco but it was still very good. A lot of fish on there! My brother went with a combo of a burrito, beef and cheese taco, and something else very cheesy (the C combo) and thought it was good. Service was good, lots of tv's but the atmosphere was quiet. (3:30 on a football Alabama is playing Saturday)

My family and I had lunch at La Fiesta yesterday. There were eight of us. They were busy but not jammed at all. It was one of the worst experiences and service I've ever had. And the food was mediocre at best. Some of the items we ordered didn't arrive until we finished with our meal. The waiter acted like he was just plain angry to be there and then tossed the check on the table when he brought it like he couldn't be bothered to ask who should receive the check. Even when I paid at the register no one asked how our meal was. We have eaten here over the years and found it to be a decent Resturant but I doubt I will ever go back. I'm done.

I hadn't been to La Fiesta in quite some time until tonight. I was pleasantly surprised. The dining room is a little tightly packed and service was slow but we were in at a peak time. Nothing was so bad that I wouldn't go back. Portions were good and the taste was great. I'd eat here again for sure.

A Hoover local told me about La Fiesta, so even though I lived in Homewood I made the trek over to try it out. Ever since then, I drive 20-25 minutes for *this* Mexican food. It’s a family-run establishment frequented by families, and the atmosphere is so fun. The food is your classic Mexican fare, but La Fiesta does it even better than most. Brag on new boutique taco joints all you want, but sometimes you just need good down-home Mexican...sometimes you just need la fiesta.

My family and I had lunch at La Fiesta yesterday. There were eight of us. They were busy but not jammed at all. It was one of the worst experiences and service I've ever had. And the food was mediocre at best. Some of the items we ordered didn't arrive until we finished with our meal. The waiter acted like he was just plain angry to be there and then tossed the check on the table when he brought it like he couldn't be bothered to ask who should receive the check. Even when I paid at the register no one asked how our meal was. We have eaten here over the years and found it to be a decent Resturant but I doubt I will ever go back. I'm done.
