The menu and cook changed. Very confusing menu. Particularly the meal part of the menu. It's not a meal. This used to be a great restaurant. I ate here very often with my family. I had the worst restaurant experience here on father's day. Very slow service, our appetizer came out after all our food. Then it got worse! No rice at all! They ran out of cooked rice. Everything came out but no rice. We were hungry and starting eating without the rice. The rice came out after we're done eating. Honestly the food aren't as good as before. Not to mention the price is too high for an awful restaurant experience.

We came in a little after 130pm, ordered the meal set with spicy pork and tofu soup, spicy stir fry squid and egg soufle. There brought out five bon chons side dishes, all were nicely pickled. Spicy stir fried squid was a big plate! That's surprising. We always order this dish at other restaurants and never got this much. Squid could be a tad spicier, sauce was a tad too thin, but tasted fine. Bbq pork and tofu soup was amazing. I live in Cali and this place is on the top 5 best tofu soup I've had in the U.S. probably the best in the South. I never finish my soup, but I finished theirs. Was just a tad disappointed that my tofu soup didn't come out piping hot to where I can cook a raw egg in it. It doesn't come with a raw egg and it wasn't bubbling hot. The egg soufle was also big for $3.99 I was expecting it to come out in a smaller stone pot. Overall food was great, wished there was more assortment of bonchons and a raw egg for my soup, but everything was fine. We will be back the next time we're in town.

Stopped by and the sign on the door said they were closed but the owner Lee saw us and opened up. That was worth 5 stars in itself. He was our server as well. The food was great and even offered to fix an item not on the menu if we gave advanced notice next time. Highly recommend you try them when your in the mood for Korean!
