Steaks were so so at best. Outside needs a good power washing. It's just dirty outside. I was not impressed. Southwood Kitchen on 4 lane 98 in Daphne, opened by ex Jesse's chef, is 100 times better. If going on the weekend make reservations!!!!!

First time visitor. We stopped for a quick afternoon bite; I got the salmon salad and my wife got the grilled chicken salad. The salmon was cooked to perfection and I thoroughly enjoyed it! My wife really enjoyed the chicken salad as well. The Bloody Mary's are pretty good too. Must try this restaurant!!

Very good Lunch, met some friends here and we enjoyed a great lunch and we're given some privacy to talk. I enjoyed a chicken breast with a local vegetable medley and fresh mashed potatoes with gravy. I loved all of it, the sauce had concentrated down too much so it was a bit salty. Everything was good, looked good, smelled great and distinctly simple.

We went last year for Valentine's day and loved it. This year however we was unhappy when we left. My husband chose on special only for the fact it came with asparagus and he got 3 pieces. Our service and our fell a little short granted we was 10 minutes late for our reservation it still took 20 minutes to get seated and another 30 to get food menus. Our drinks were empty for a long while as well

First time to Jesse’s today for lunch.... and it was wonderful! We were cutting through Magnolia Springs on our way to Foley, saw all of the cars and decided to stop. We will definitely go back! My favorite was the Southern BLT with bacon, pimento cheese, and avocado. My family loved the raw oysters, club sandwich and house salad. Everything was delicious, fresh and the perfect temperature. Our service was very good, and the atmosphere was relaxed. We highly recommend it!

The food here is absolutely delicious. Atmosphere also outstanding. You must have a reservation. I reduced a star only for the speed of food coming out. We were seated at 7 and didn’t leave until 9:30. It was an hour before the salad was served! Get your reservation early is my advise! Try the shrimp and grits- you won’t be disappointed!

Jesse's is one of the two best places to eat in Baldwin County and usually has fab service. We've been there many times. Dinner is a little pricey, as all truly fine dinning is, but lunch is very affordable, and still with great service. Order the salmon for lunch. O.M.G. There is a good selection of wines for even a connoisseur, which I definitley know. Hubby and I took his BFFs here and they are the kind of people who take vacations to wineries in the US and abroad because of their wine-love. They found a wine there they really liked which they hadn't tried before. Troublemaker, I think? Go. Eat. Drink. Be happy.

My new favorite restaurant in Baldwin County! The food selection was small but varied and everything we had was fantastic with portion sizes that were of good size and didn't leave you feeling like you needed a wheel chair to roll yourself out of the building. Also, the wait staff was impeccable and very accommodating. We will definitely be going back soon.

Very nice, intimate, local white tablecloth restaurant in Magnolia Springs. The food is always excellent. Service always good and they know how to make a good cocktail. Usually order fresh fish, always good choice. Steaks are also done well. You will need reservations. Wear at least a collared, polo style shirt, it's a nice place, a jacket won't kill you.

We were celebrating family. We had the best waiter, Morgan. He was so knowledgeable about Jesse’s and shared it with us. He told us the history of the restaurant and was very helpful in explaining all the dishes. We all were very satisfied with our choices. All our meals were done to our liking. Terrible food & atmosphere. Chairs very uncomfortable. They haven't upgraded restaurant in 20+ years & it smells like it. They need to close for a week & do a top to bottom clean & upgrade. Ordered medium well steak, got rare. Then I did not get my steak back right away. It was served after my tablemates had finished their meal. Then it was served well done. Could not eat it but my neighbor's dog like it. Mashed garlic potatoes & gouda grits were extra salty. Tea not sweet enough. Bread was stale & butter had absorbed the refrigerator odors. French fries were over cooked. Skimpy veggie dish of zucchini, squash & onions was over cooked. Chicken pasta dish had unusual flavor & chicken was old. Husband could not eat.

This was our third visit and the first time to be disappointed at Jesse's. Everything was good except for the entrees. They were dried out (even the cheese grits and potatoes were lumpy and dry). The filet's juices were dried on the plate even. However, the fried green tomatoes were excellent and the service was good as always.

I just can’t say enough good things about this precious little restaurant located in the historical town of Magnolia, Florida. Service was outstanding! Food was ah-amazing! The setting was so tranquil. A tad pricey but well worth the money! Only complaint, I bought a t-shirt and was told they were pre-shrink, they were not, now I have a $24 dollar t-shirt I can’t wear.

My husband Steve and I have lived here for 20 years. We've always heard about this place but just tonight dining here. Frank took my reservation for 530 midday the Friday we came. He said they were very busy but made sure we had a table equiped for our friend in a wheelchair. Awesome. Taylor was wonderful as our waiter. He new the menu as well as the wine list (which is special). He was very attentive and didn't let our glasses go empty. We got the baked brie pastry as an appetizer. Wow. Just melt in your mouth yumminess. My husband and I both got the 8oz Filet for dinner. This is one of very few places I've found that knows what a true Pittsburgh steak is. Wow. The thickness of the sear on the steak was truly unbelievable while the interior was rare. They must have a very hot cooking surface! The steak melts in your mouth. As a surprise the parmesan rissoto was heaven! I cleaned my plate and I'm paying for it now. Lol. Wine list was extensive and very good. Everyone should try this place!!

This place is SO good. I got the Mahi fish with bacon crust, green beans, and garlic mashed potatoes. it actually wasn’t that expensive for a lunch place. Hidden gem! So glad we stumbled across this restaurant. We had raw oysters (which were huge), my husband had the salad with shrimp, I had the one with chicken. Both were outstanding and loved the vinaigrette dressings. Atmosphere, service, food presentation were all excellent.

Elegance and atmosphere is outstanding, really like this place. We stopped in for appetizers and got the duck spring rolls and heaping crab crackers. Fabulous flavors and good portions, extensive wine list and great informative staff make this a must visit. Good handicap access, however and note bathrooms are on the east side of the building so if you have mobility issues get seated on the east side its a long walk from the west side of the building.

We saw they got a good review on Trip Advisor so we tried it. The drive was roughly 30 minutes north and boy was it worth it. The setting was in a quaint little town, Magnolia Springs. It's a historic spot. Service was great and our waiter was even better. He was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Great food and desert, including specialty drinks. We had a filet with toppings and creme brulee to finish. Top 10 dinner for me. Hope to go back sometime.

Best restaurant on the Gulf Coast. Bar none. I got fired from there and will rave about it to anybody willing to listen. The attention to ingredients, cleanliness, training, guest experience are all top notch. I've worked in a lot of restaurants in the area, nicer ones, more casual they all take half steps and lie to their visitors about it. There are zero half steps at Jesse's. You pay more because this is what dining without half steps and amazing ingredients costs. Steve and Angie put every bit of themselves into everything about this place.

WOW!!! What a gem hidden in a small town!!! The establishment is quaint, clean, and enriched with history. My dad ordered rack of lamb and everyone else had a 16 oz ribeye. The meat melted in our mouths!!! So delicious!!

Used to work here and can honestly say it's the best restaurant in the area. Compared to other places the food is always fresh, aways comes where they say it comes from, everything is scratch. I've never worked for a place with more integrity and with more attention to detail. I was proud of everything I served there and I've never been able to say that in twenety years working as a waiter at other places. It shows on their plates and in the reviews. There is no better restaurant in the area.

If you could order tap water off the menu Jesse's would find a way to do it better than the next guy! The steaks came out amazing although we didnt order one. Old school local fare with new school attention to detail. Flavors took me back to restaurants from the past like executive club.. the driftwood and even some Pensacola country club memories... locally sourced base items traditional and adjusted will keep Jesse's in my pallet's heart and remind me of home... eating along the gulf coast...the only thing was our server was.... out of sorts?? stayed out too late?? recovering from a... ?? he was nice, knowledgeable w menu, just.. not devoting attentions..

unusual and eclectic menu. smoked duct and bleu cheese spring rolls w/ red cabbage and lightly sweet Thai chilli was amazing. could tast everything, perfectly balanced. the brie w/ praline sauce, intriguing. grouper w/ light creole sauce and almonds was very delicious and had a nice crunch to the crust, nice with the delicate flesh. the dry aged 16 oz rib eye had just right tooth. moist, perfect sear and flavor. creme brulee among the best anywhere. bread pudding w/ praline sauce & a scoop of icecream, superb. the place beats Ruth's Chris hands down. it's locally owned, locally sourced. resides in a old post office and general store. quaint, relaxed and quiet, in Magnolia Springs/ Bon Secure area well worth the drive. forgot the service, none better.

So far I have eaten at Jesse's Restaurant twice. The first time was for lunch and second time for dinner. Both dining experiences were excellent. Lunch provides an excellent value. The steak salad that I had was excellent with generous portions for lunch. For dinner I had the wet aged petit delmonico cooked medium rare which just melts in your mouth. Their raw regular oysters and their raw specialty oysters are excellent and are a very fair price. Overall, this is the best restaurant in Mobile and Baldwin County.

This was our first time, but definitely not our last time. We were there for late lunch and I had a club sandwich and fries. You've never seen such a great sandwich! Perfectly arranged and the fried were delicious. We shared tasty Praline Bread Pudding with a wonderful pecan-caramel glaze. Everything was ideally served to us by Eric, who was both attentive and efficient. A great dining experience!

Magnolia Springs is the cutest town I have ever seen. You want to go there just to see the streets completely covered with live oak trees. Jesse’s is a great spot for lunch. I highly recommend the mimosas! Take a girlfriend and enjoy!

On August 5th ,2019 my husband and I celebrated our 43rd anniversary there at Jesse ‘s . We are from the area but live in Tennessee now. We had a terrible experience at our meal. Our server was Andrew and he was was not attentive at all . Took forever to even take our order and then I had told him that I wanted to take my leftovers home with me .. the Ashley farm chicken , potatoes ,green beans and Romain wedge. When I got back to our bed and breakfast I only had salad in my box! We were VERY disappointed to have paid your price!

A 5 star restaurant! The service is out of this world. The food is the best in baldwin county. The setting is beautiful. Outdoor seating is a plus. Lunch or dinner can't be beat. It would be a good idea to back for a reservation before going. Especially at night. Sometimes at lunch you need a reservation as well. Must try if your in the area

This place is just amazing. We always have my birthday meal here and this year did not disappoint! Everything is so delicious at Jesse's. Ribeye Steak, Shrimp and Grits, Oak Street Linguine, Cold Hole Burger and Tiramisu!! Don't miss this restaurant when you are in the Gulf Shores, Foley and Fairhope area. It is so worth the drive.

My husband and I went to Jesse's today upon the recommendation of a couple of friends. It was absolutely one of the most enjoyable lunches we have had in the area. Our waitress was Cherie and she was absolutely wonderful, attentive and always eager to be sure we were happy with the service and the food. My husband had the salmon and said it was some of the best he had ever had. I had the melted duck sandwich and it was phenomenal. Our waitress heard us mention we had celebrated my birthday the other day at another recommended restaurant which turned out to be a disaster and told us they would be glad to provide the free dessert. We had the bread pudding and it was absolutely delicious. Lunch pricing was very reasonable and we will definitely be going back often.

Great service and the food was delicious! My hubby got the dry aged steak and enjoyed it and I got the shrimp and grits... not my normal shrimp and grits... a little spicy, but awesome!! A little more pricey than what I would prefer, but very worth a special night! Would definitely recommend!

Don't care for aged steaks. If you like aged steaks, this is where you want to go. Service was very slow , but we got there at the same time as a few others. Cajun soup was outstanding. Don't plan on being in a hurry.

Amazing steaks! Husband got the bone in Kings cut filet. He said it was the best steak he has ever had. So tender like butter in his mouth. I got the dry aged ribeye steak and it was so flavorful and cooked just perfect. Great service and great dessert. What a gem of a place!

Absolutely the best restaurant in the area. Get the Jack Daniels Whiskey marinated steak (make sure you get it cooked at medium temp) and you will not be disappointed. If your feeling up to it get the Kings Filet, a huge filet mignon a bit pricey but worth the money. The only place to take someone who you are trying to impress....Even though it is a bit pricey I never regret my bill at this place.
