Awesome. Some of the best Indian food I've had in the world (TBF, I haven't been to India, but I have had Indian food in many US states, multiple UK cities, multiple Japan cities, South Korea, Middle East, Canada, Latin America). LOVED it. Service was bueno and price was good. Yelp has it as 2 Euros for price, but I think it was more between 1 and 2. We had a good dinner for two with some extras for about 33 Euro. Highly recommend.
It is one of the best food in city so far. I tried couple of restaurant and they are not good. Food, quantity, stuff, location and presentation are awesome. * * * * * * *
Nice food
Wonderful cosy restaurant, the food was amazing, everything we ordered was delicious. The lamb biryani might be the best I’ve ever had.
Food is really good .. and not dumb down with heavy cheese infusion ... being a food critic myself I will highly recommend this place ...
Probably the most authentic Indian restaurant in the area!
Awesome service. Great Indian taste.
Amazing food with perfect Indian taste.. Stayed for 3 days in Madrid and visited twice this restaurant. Must visit for Indians..
Great food. Very authentic flavors. Great delivery service with Deliveroo.
A good place to immerse yourself in indian cuisine, very good treatment and good atmosphere, excellent food, thoroughly recmmend it
The ambience was very relaxed. And the service was efficient with English speaking staff. We ordered two appetizers and three main courses and two naan breads, two rice bowls and 3 cokes and a bottle of water by the side which was more than enough for three people. The food arrived hot, and was very tasty. For those who care about it, the chicken was halal. We had two mint teas by the end and we paid 82€ in total. This is one of the better Indian restaurants in Madrid and we definitely recommend it. We give it 4 stars because it was slightly expensive.
Very good food and nice staff. I tried Lamb Vandaloo and Butter Chicken with Naan bread and rice. everything was great! beware that its a busy place and a reservation before coming is a good idea ;)
TOP
لذيذ جدا Perfect and delicious I really recommend this restaurant
An Indian restaurant that delivers what you expect. Get a table without a reservation, big menu with recognizable dishes, food within ten minutes, big portions, decent prices. Enjoyed the lamb chili and especially their garlic naan. Would definitely go their again if I'm hungry, looking for a quick dinner.
Very nice place and tasty food, I love it..
Best Indian food we had so far in Spain. Mango lassi was yummy. It was bit expensive though.
I was visiting Madrid on business, travelling across Europe for a month and was already missing my Indian food. Luckily I stumbled upon this joint, in the heart of the city a few blocks away from my stay. So I came in with a lot of expectations and the food did not disappoint me. I like the way they serve Papad as if they were Nachos...Out of the 3 chutneys served one was a fantastic Spicy Mango chutney and the other which I think is date with tamarind was done exquisitely.. the chicken biryani I ordered had Bay leaves in it which gave it a very eastern flavour....not the westernised junk Indian most other Indian restaurants in West, I have come, across serve... oh I almost forgot..the deserts are equally good too...keep it up.. overall you made me feel like home..
Good Indian restaurant
Great little Indian. Freshly made food without the fuss. We had onion bhaji, aloo tikki, paneer tikki, swag aloo, tarka daal and assorted naans. All were good
Very good Indian restaurant . Recommend to Indian food lovers. Nice butter chicken and halal food in chicken dishes
Nice food. The Chicken Biriyani was delightful. Recommended.
Very decent Indian restaurant, probably one of the better ones in Madrid. Attended on a Saturday evening without a reservation and got a table without issue. We had onion bhaji & vegetable pakora starters and to be honest I couldn’t fault them. Accompanied with the normal condiments, they were delicious. For main we had the Chicken Korma. Certainly not the best I’ve had, but was more than acceptable. Could have done with the chicken being marinated for longer, as although cooked ok, was a little dry, which is typical of chicken thrown into the sauce not long before serving. No desert on this occasion but they had a small selection of traditional Indian sweets on the menu. Service was acceptable. We arrived pretty soon after opening and it wasn’t too busy during out visit. Definitely a little more expensive than it should have been in my opinion. Over €60 for starters & main for 2 people, but overall the restaurant didn’t disappoint. Would definitely go there again.
Been to more Indian restaurants than I can count but this one took me by surprise. Very well done food. Delicious. Did not expect that in Madrid. May I suggest a Sangria with the curry? It's an awesome combo...
Excellent indian restaurant in city center of Madrid. They offer great tikka and curry and amazing pista kulfi. Highly recommend
Had a dinner there. Very reaponsive and nice guys managing the resturant. A must visit place if you want to have a desi food in Madrid centre
Excellent food, nice service. Try jalfreezi and naan great combination. Recommended
You can always measure the quality of an indian restaurant by its raita and lassi....the simple ingredients are done right
Not the vezt6in Madrid but still good one. Not many space inside
Lovely Indian cuisine
Nice quaint little restaurant. We had garlic naan, butter chicken and vegetable briyani. The portion for these are just nice for two person. I love how the butter chicken came in a little copper bowl with its own warmer. Tastewise, we both love the garlic naan and the butter chicken. If you are looking for HALAL food, in this restaurant, ONLY the CHICKEN is HALAL. The lamb is not.
I've lived in over 10 countries and THIS is the best curry I have ever had. Go! You won't be disappointed!
Bad food and absolutely rude and indifferent staff.
Indian Aroma is my choice in Madrid for Indian food. Always delicious, well attended and good price. Been many times already, will pop in everytime I visit Madrid.
Expensive but delicious! Great place if you are an English speaker feeling overwhelmed in Madrid. A tikka masala at home is a tikka masala in Madrid. The waiters are very attentive and I was able to order in English. The music and lighting is very calming and the food is great. I highly recommend it.
Good tasty Indian Good, and stuff speaks English
Very good indian restaurant. The staff were friendly and the food tasted really fresh and well.
Highly recommended. The service was super professional and even asked how spiced you like the food.
Food and service were quite good!
great authentic food
Cozy place but good food. I got to talk with the owner who was very friendly. Server had good knowledge of indian food. Asked a special kind of Tea without masala, although they were busy but they were able to make that for me.
Avg But good location
As good as anything I’ve eaten in India!!
Great food, great staff.
Expensive. Curries 13€ + rice 4.80€ + naan 3€. Cheaper elsewhere
Great tasting food and fast service.
We had gone to Madrid at the end of our trip and were craving some good Indian Food. We had ordered Panner Makhani, Chicken Vindaloo and dal makhani. Out of which the chicken vindaloo was amazing. The presentation was also great every thing was up to the mark.
It’s very overpriced and food (veg) is very average
Excellent service and food at a very good price.
Tasty but over priced. Came for lunch but we're not offered the menú del día despite asking. Service is good and the place is well kept. Basing on the reviews expected much more. The vegan options were few and not exciting to say the least. To sum it up, a nice restaurant, reasonable plus food but not worth the price.
Good restaurant with test full food but expensive
Very nice atmosphere and delicious food.
Amazing service, great taste and reasonable prices. Would highly recommend.
Very Nice and Authentic Indian food.
Best Indian restaurant in Madrid period.
I went back to India omg
Just when I was about to give up on Indian restaurants in Spain so found this jewel! Great service and authentic full of flavour Indian food! :)
Food was good service was also good.
Fabulous food, friendly staff...Had a wonderful meal with my family!
Delicious food, excellent service and wonderful staff. Chicken vindaloo, Salted lassi and Peshawari naan were very yum
Awesome experience! Tasty and delicious food. One of the Best Indian restaurants I have visited in Europe. A big thumbs up. Lassi was too good, absolutely authentic!
Visited on 2nd may 2012 with family ,tasty indian food, homely staff, best hotel in my europe tour. Amit from thane mumbai
Good place for vegetarian. Finger licking good food. We had samosa, tandoori roti, kadaai paneer, mango lassi. The roti was whole wheat and we agreed for mild spicy curry, which was very tasty. The service was really good. They gave my wi Fi when needed, as well. Highly recommended for tasty Indian food.
Way too salty. Mediocre qualily. Pretty high prices.
I kid you not. This is the best Indian food outside of a grandmas kitchen. The staff were fluent in English and Spanish. The service was great, and they were very accommodating. We were seated quickly and eating quickly. Everything that we ordered was wonderful. The bread was incredible as well as the Kashmir rice. Chicken saag, butter chicken, etc. literally everything was incredible and the meal wasn’t expensive.
The food was decent but the staff was extremely rude! The waiter serving was frowning upon us through out. When we asked for serving spoons for our curries he asked us to use our plate spoons and when we insisted on separate curry spoons he said "that's not how normal people do it" The way they all served lacked warmth!
This place has great food and ambience. Everything is authentic Indian right from music to service to menu to taste of food. We had dal fry, parantha, tandoori roti, kadai paneer and raita. All items were delicious and spicy. They offered complementary mango lassi. Highly recommend this place for authentic north indian food.
Very good indian food. Lots of vegetarian options. Polite staff , elegant interiors. The place looks fresh.
Delicious and well priced! I recommend the chicken massala curry ;)
Good Indian food.
Ordered the degustation menu for 2. It is not a degustation were they bring a lot of tiny portions of a lot of the dishes. It is rather they choosing for you two entrees, two mains and a desert. Nevertheless the quality was good and service fast. O lot of locals in the other tables.
Ridiculously expensive. 5.7 eu for plain rice. I walked out paying just for a beer and water. Lunch would have cost over 20 eu. The place was empty.
Delicious indian food
Food quality is good ... But the waiters take off the plates before the food is eaten fully without the customer's concent... this hospitality is not a healthy one .. Rest all was good :-)
Great service. Amazing food. Just a little heavy on the salt side of things. Must try mushroom rice and if you like it spicy go for vindalo
Fantastic food.
Curry to hot asked for medium couldn't eat and was expensive
Last day of a 10 day trip to spain, and we were craving Indian food. And Indian Aroma in Madrid delivered exactly what we needed. The restaurant is well kept, great ambiance. The wait staff and the owner are warm and welcoming. We got butter chicken, kadhai paneer, bhendi bhaaji (okra), butter naan and basmati rice. The food was top class, authentic Indian taste. The bhendi bhaaji in particular was spectacular. Highly recommended. We also got mango lassi and Kingfisher beer to complement an excellent meal. The kids and us give it a 5 thumbs up!!! Thank you Indian Aroma.
Superb food good service and very nice staff. Best restaurent in Madrid. Best part of restaurent is tawa roti lived it.
Good quality food and service. Real taste of India in Madrid.
Good Ambience, Fast Service, Delicious food. A bit Cramped on space.
This restaurant happened to be on our way and we were craving Indian food so we walked in. The food was good and the service was fast BUT THE STAFF WERE EXTREMELY RUDE. Wouldn’t go again and wouldn’t recommend
Good, though not as good as all the tourists claim. Quite standard fare with the heat suitable to Spanish palates. I was hoping to find a greater variety of dishes instead of the usual bog standard fare.
Best restaurant in this area.
Authentic Indian restaurant. Excellent food
Super food, and good service.
Had a great Indian meal here. Staff is great 5 min walk from the Westin.
This is my second time in indianaroma restaurant I tasted different plates. I will be back again. I recomend every ones who searches typical Indian cuisin. You should taste the good tanddori and massala dishes. The waiters are the competand of this work
Good Indian food
One of the best Samosa preparation with great Chutney combination. Best I've had outside India...
Takes lot of time to prepare simple meals. Especially, if its a takeaway.
Proper Indian food, nicely spiced up and a great array of options, it was so difficult to choose! We had the King Prawn Tandoori and the chicken tikka masala, both delicious and perfectly made..and can't forget that delish starter we had (prawnpuri), the lovely mango lassi or my perfect cup of masala chai
Very good restaurant and indian food taste awesome. Must visit place for indians and bangladesh people. Even many europeans eat indian food. Reachable from tourist locations like el retiro park, palace etc.
Extremely good. I have visited indianaroma four or five times now and each time is as good as the last. The staff are friendly .
Good vegetarian options. Good rather than great food. Moderately expensive. Good portions. Charge for the water!!
All food were excellent and very delicious.
Excellent food - excellent service Chicken dishes and of course the shrimps are HALAL
Food good but very expensive and unbelievable for the ambience and type of restaurant. A meal costed me 20 euro, highest paid by me all across Spain in similar category restaurant, which should have costed me 10-13 euro max. Ordered veg biryani with raita, papad and cola. Portions were relatively small. Will try again, since have no option and lastly food was good.
Excellent food, a bit pricy but worth it, great staff
Tasty food, large portions, swift and friendly service, nice interior, easy reservation online, you even get some fennel seed candy with your bill - very authentic. Try the kulfi for dessert - lots of cardamom, lovely!
Very nice and cozy authentic Indian restaurant in Madrid. Excellent Paneer dishes and naan!!
food was so delicious as i expected
Best Indian restaurant in Madrid
Food is really good. It's costly when compared to other restaurants
Excellent fast service. very delicious food. Clean.Worth the price.
Nice food & restaurant and professional waiters... Little expensive
Authentic Indian food here otherwise I was so disappointed trying Indian restaurant in Madrid, one was named Delhi and other one was also nearyby. This restaurant has best in all 4 restaurant I gone in Madrid.
The food was average and the interior was very dull and dim. The staff behaviour was horrendous. We complained about one dish being too spicy. The waiter outrightly rejected our claim and was insistent that it is not spicy and very rude.
Good Indian food, nice helpful waitors in a cozy back alley. We had butter chicken, lamb saag, garlic naan and mango lassi - all was very tastey and the portion sizes were very generous.
Offering nice indian foods but little expensive.
Simply awesome food with superb service & lovely ambiance. Worth a visit & a special shout out to Farhad & Lutfur Thanks.
Taste was good. But they primarily caters the natives; the approach to Indians was not good. We had to call several times to get service. Hospitality was not good compared to many other Indian restaurants in Madrid.
Food here tasted like it does back in India. Decent size portions, friendly staff and really really tasty food. I've eaten in many Indian restaurants outside the country and while many of them try, this place seems to have got the taste spot on. When I visit Madrid again, I'm definitely going to this place for sure!
We were a group of friends passing by and the smell was so good so u entered. The dinner was really fantastic, food was really delicious, waiting staffs were really enthusiastic...! Highly recommend..!
The best biryani I've ever eaten! And they gave us mango lassis on the house after the meal! Wonderful meal :)
So disappointed with this restaurant. I’ve eaten here several times and have always enjoyed the food, the wait staff and the ambiance. I ordered through a delivery service since it is one of my favorite places and found a cockroach cooked in my food. The restaurant refused to issue a refund claiming it was a piece of clove. I have a large family and 90€ worth of food had to be tossed in the garbage. If we would have been sitting in the restaurant we would have walked out. It’s terrible business practice. Here’s a pic. You be the judge.
Frankly a great small place with great food.We got recommended this place by hotel ritz madrid.A great find, and very small and cozy. Food prepared from scratch in the kitchen, and good service. We will be back again for sure.
For the price, the food was mediocre. Too salty and low quality. Naan bread was dry and tasted bad.
Great food and great service. Amazing place. Must visit for great Indian food , in Madrid. For Europeans, you get your great "curry" , tikkas and samosa s here, go for it
Taste of india.. is all I can say..❤
One of the best Indian restraunts in Madrid
good place to be for indian delicacies!!
Excellent higher end Indian restaurant in the heart of Madrid. Excellent meal and service with great attention to detail.
Delicious Indian food! We had the saag paneer and paneer kadhai and both were delicious. Also very accommodating, they made Jain food for one of our family members. Very nice!
Decent food and service but quite expensive overall!
The service was VERY bad, I came to the restaurant with my family and their waiter told me that I had to wait for ONE hour to get a table . I waited 5 minutes only and I got my table. All of this happened because I came to the same restaurant before and I ordered a non spicy food for my kid and the same waiter brought me a spicy one by mistake and I asked him to change it. I think that was the reason for his bad behavior at this time. While I was in the restaurants, more than 6 tables were available during my stay.
Excellent. Nice smash of spice (if you ask for it) and tasty starters right in the middle of town.
Nice food and ambience, with efficient stewards. Tourist looking for good Indian food, must visit.
Fois Indian restaurant with fine service, fine food and a nice menu. Dont forget to book at night and of course to try the naans.
I've been here quite a few times and I enjoy it a lot. I'm not a big fan of strong curry flavors but this restaurant serves dishes which are tasty but soft and pleasant at the same time. Price is OK and service is absolutely friendly. I'm eager to see the chance to come back.
Good taste, courteous staff and great location. Is a little pricey though....
Ok, not so good
Having enjoyed Indian cuisine in many locations I found the quality of the food, the service, and the price second to none.
Really good food and good service
Best Indian restaurant in madrid
Food was okay. The service is decent. Definitely worth visiting for Indian food, good, but not extraordinary in food or service.
Good Indian food option in Madrid
Great food, great service. Nice atmosphere, will recommend
Food is very good but the time taken for service is very long and the quantity is also quiet less
Great restaurant everything vas perfect big portions great starters nice indian cuisine. Waiters very polite and helpfull. I will definitely come back.
Good food but expsive
This restaurant cooks the best dishes ever.I ordered my usual chicken kadai with pilau rice and I was blown away by the exquisite effort of their presentation brought to my table. It smelt and tasted as good as it looks.Definitely recommend it.I just moved to this area and I am so happy this is my local indian restaurant, they will be seeing me again soon. Thank you
A good Indian restaurant in Madrid. Try paneer makhani, it’s delicious.
The food was incredible and highly flavorful. The service was truly attentive and delightful (some of the best I've had in Madrid). The prices are a little higher than other Indian restaurants nearby, but it's worth it for the great service!
Good quality and service! Really nice experience :)
One of the best Indian restaurants in Madrid. Vegan and Veggy options
Good indian food
Service was slow. Paneer tikka that we order was too salty and had to be returned. Otherwise the food was ok. Nothing special for the price!
Excellent food, cheap and great atmosphere
The food is alright, but not as exciting as i had expected. Priced are a bit high and there was no menú del día option when we came in, although it was lunch time. Notice that the curry dishes come without rice which is priced separately for nearly 6 euros. Very few healthy vegan dishes which again were ok but not as exciting as they should have been. Stuff was very professional and the place is very well kept. I am sure that if it's the food you are looking for, there are better indian restaurants in madrid.
Very traditional Indian flavors.everything was delicious. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for great taste. Ambiance could use some improvement, but all in all it was a great experience that I would repeat.
My favorite Indian restaurant in Madrid
Absolutely 5 Star ***** Great food, nice music, fab wine. Really lovely experience, the street is very cute as well.
Some of the best Indian food I've ever had.
Out of the way gem. Lovely traditional Indian food. Good portions, me and my dad shared 2 starters and main and we're quite satisfied. Friendly staff and attentive. Would recommend to others confidently.
Good restaurants with authentic Indian Flavour... If someone looking for Indian food in Madrid then definitely think about it
Incredible taste for the chicken tikka masala. Will return for sure
Nice place Loved food there Try pista kulfi there .. amazing
