I really enjoy Drake's! Fun and upbeat atmosphere, good service and great food. If you're not happy, they fix it immediately and do it with a smile. We have never had issues at Drake's and everything comes out HOT! I am a stickler for hot food at restaurants and just don't think it should be difficult to get it out to the customers that way. Will definitely be coming back in the future. One of my favorites in town due to the variety of foods and options they provide.

Nice casual atmosphere. We love sitting in the open air section, the wait staff is great, the food is good, and beer selection is nice and always changing. My husband loves the wings, pretzels and beer cheese, and the sushi. I like their spicy bean burger and sweet potato fries.

I went on a rainy day, so I cant speak for the service during their busiest times, but our waitress was attentive and friendly. The menu options were interesting, and being able to order sushi was nice, however the tempura roll we ordered was a bit chewy.

I rated this a 3 ONLY because it is not the type of place I enjoy going to. That being said, it is a very trendy place with a crowd to match. It is mostly barstools around hi-top tables. While I was there, they had a trivia game going on. It's a great place to get a burger and a drink, but it was too expensive for me. But I know many people will enjoy their atmosphere and the food they offer.. I recall spicy things being a theme..which I don't like. But do not let this low rating stop you from going there. I suggest going at least once for the experience!

Just went for trivia night, but it was fun and the wait staff were friendly enough. I got a few beers and a giant chocolate chip cookie which were all very good. Great food and service. Service was sort of lacking at first but the restaurant was very busy. Once some of it started clearing out the service improved dramatically. We ordered the Bloody Mary bar, which is an interesting concept. The sushi was better than I expected from an American food restaurant and I would put it on par with authentic sushi bars. Chips and dip (salsa, beans, guacamole) were good. Burgers were delicious, along with the other foods (buffalo chicken and wraps).

I work right across the street from this place and my work friends and I always go here after we get off work (10pm usually) to get dinner. Never once have they said anything about us being under 21. Tonight we go in, our ids are checked at the door (most of us are under 21) and we are told that typically no one under 21 is allowed after 10:30. I explained we were only getting dinner and the security said that would be fine and let us in. We ordered waters and an app while we waiting for our other friends to get off work. An employee comes to the table saying the same policy and I explained the door guy said it was okay if we ate our dinner, he then says that would be fine but we would need to leave by 10:45. We said okay, as it wasn’t even 10 yet we knew we’d be done before then we just wanted to wait until our other friend arrived to order. Again the door man comes to our table and says we have to order or leave and we explained that the other employee said we had until 10:45. Also we hadn’t seen our waitress since our waters were brought out so we weren’t even able to order our entrees if we wanted to. All in all we were annoyed at this point that there was no sign indicating this policy in the first place, we payed for our app and left. We have come here many times after work for dinner and love the food but we will not come back.

Drake's is one of the great hang-out places I would definitely recommend. I like the interiors, the bars, the tall tables and chairs and they even have tall high chairs for kids if needed. They serve burgers, fillets, sushi and alcoholoc beverages. We ordered teriyaki chicken bowl, Drake's nachos, burgers and fillet with crab rangoon roll. We also tried Drake's beers and the food combo with the beers and wine are awesome! They also have games inside such as Drake's dart, Shuffle Board and Jenga! Such a nice place to eat and spend time with family or friends! They also have a sushi bar!

My husband and I were in the area for the Truck show. We asked for a good place to eat. And we were sent to another place that felt to pricey.. we ended up at DRAKE'S.. wow we never been there before but we sat at the bar. And had an awesome time watching the bartenders they really worked well together.. enjoyed the food.. very delicious burger.it was most wonderful!! Would definitely be going back...

Love to go to Drake's. They have a great menu of food, and have a great sushi menu too. The craft beer is excellent. Personally I like the indoors, and it was well air conditioned, but if you like to eat outside, this is the place for you. Service was excellent

To have a "trainer bartender" get a attitude because I would like my liqour drink in a tall pint glass because it is "technically" a water glass seems a bit absurd. JUMPSTART Redirection is in order. Went to Drakes in the Paddock last night to watch March Madness and ended up very disappointed. The state of Kentucky had 2 teams playing in the Sweet 16 and guess which team they decided not to televise due to Patrons not being ‘into women’s basketball’ per a Manager. Not into women’s basketball!?!????? I asked the Manager if there was a poll taken at the front door because I must have missed it!!! He stated that most the patrons were in blue and it wasn’t had to judge. I told him I was in blue, with blue hat and I wanted to support women’s basketball; especially since the UL women were ranked #1. The kicker was UK game hadn’t even started. I told the Manager that if they are going to remain a business in Louisville they should have the moral responsibility and passion to play women’s sports side by side with Men’s sports. Especially since we have 2 highly ranked D1 teams. We need to start supporting women’s sports and making business take responsibility in teaching that one gender is not more important than the other. All our Kentucky college athletics need to be supported!!!

Usually love this place. Normally a great atmosphere and a great selection of beer. Today, on St. Patty’s day we went in for some green beer and to watch some Michigan State basketball. After ordering we were told they didn’t have any green beer left at 3:24 in the afternoon. Pretty sure they opened at 11:00, and they had an advertisement to come in for $3.00 Green beers. On top of that, after 15 min they couldn’t get the MSU game on any tv near us. When your a sports bar advertising St. Patrick’s day, this is pretty poor. I’ll go to “The Corner” every time from now on.

Popular bar in summit. They have an outside and an inside bar. I went for couple of drinks. Apart from traditional bar food they also offer sushi which is made when ordered. I personally am not comfortable ordering sushi at a bar. I have Louisville gets fresh seafood daily but that does not mean this place does. They have trivia night on Sunday. There were 2 bartenders, one of them saw me and walked away instead of taking my order so I had to wait for the bartender whose side I was sitting on. Go customer service.
