Good bbq, no buns included with lbs and at 13 for a lb. Of pork and 14.50 for a lb of chicken I don't think buns should be .40 cents a piece. They should come with it. At least an 8 pack of buns. Also got given a tad bit of a hard time about wanting extra bbq sauce

Best pulled pork in Baldwin county! The Cornbread sandwich is amazing! It's enough food to feed two people but you won't want to share it! The only bad thing about it is that you'll hurt yourself trying to finish the whole thing!

I had a wedding on Saturday and the guests were a combination of picky eaters, food snobs, great cooks, Yankees, true southerners and every thing in between. I haven't stopped hearing praise for how fantastic the catering was. We have all been to plenty of weddings of mediocre food and I was thrilled to break that cycle with the help of down south bbq. I am so thankful I had them do our wedding!

Ordered food for our reception and only needed a 24 hour notice and the price was great. When we picked up the food they walked us through how to warm it up and extra BBQ sauce for all the food. Only downside was that the coleslaw could use some seasoning and vinegar.

We moved down here 3 years ago and FINALLY found some good, no... great BBQ. For a little place they have pieced together in the back of a gas station in a gravel parking lot, they make the best bbq around. Don't let the look of the place fool you! What you might think they lack in aesthetics they more than make up for in the pit. They close early, so you better get there early. Do yourself a favor. I personally am not a big fan of horseradish, but they make the best horseradish potato salad. I had never even heard of it before, but my wife convinced me to try it. It's amazing.

Pulled pork platter with baked beans and macaroni was great. Wife's brisket platter potato salad was good. Her brisket tasted like old meat and tough. Good sweet tea.

Just had lunch here for the second time. I tried the brisket. It was super tender and flavorful. Almost a little salty but still very good. My sides were coleslaw which comes shredded - awesome! And baked beans. They tasted like they may have had some apple cider vinegar? Pretty good. The bbq sauce tasted homemade and I love the fact that the meat vines out naked. You can sauce it if you want which is why they also provide you with horseradish dipping sauce. It was wonderful. I really prefer potato salad with my bbq but theirs is mustard which I highly dislike. I took a picture of my generously portioned lunch but don't see an option to include one? Oh well, I enjoyed the lunch very much but thought the tea was only ok and the price kind of high at $12.50. That's not going to deter me from coming back.

This is the best BBQ I have ever had. It has probably been 2 years since I have been there and am counting down the days to our return trip in April. Authentic southern style with rotisserie smokers that run all day. We have had relatives drive their pulled pork and brisket up North to us on multiple occasions and it reheats pretty darn well. I will be sure to update the review and post some pictures when we return. This is our favorite spot in Bama for BBQ.

Cost is over rated... ribs where over cooked ends, chicken over cooked and dry, Mac & cheese had no taste, and pork n beans out of a can with sprouts of pork was labeled baked beans. What a joke and I read the reviews before I stopped... majority won and now I'm effed out of $40.

Been by this place many many times, never thought to stop. Well today coming back from the Beach, wife and I said let's try it, if isn't any good we won't come back. Big mistake, ordered the RIB Plate, with homade baked beans and mustard potato salad. The ribs, were 20 on a scale of ten, juicy tender fall of the bone just plain great, BBQ sauce was outstanding, the beans, and salad we perfectly seasoned. If your down that way on CR 10, please stop, you won't be disappointed, it'll make your tongue reach up an slap your forehead good!!!!! Y'all come, ya heauh!!!! YUMMMM!!!!

Ordered the days special, jalapeno stuffed sausage sandwich for $7 and also a pulled pork sandwich. The pork was fantastic. The sausage was a zero. A bun filled with mustard, chopped jalapenos and onions and a few slivers of sausage. Slivers is an understatement! I should have driven back and given them their bun but threw it out instead. My wife let me have half of her sandwich. So disappointing.

We used to go to the other location till we found this one closer to us. The food is just as good. The waitress is very nice. My husband loves the pulled pork and I love the brisket.

Fabulous! Just Fabulous!!! Dont expect an inside dining room or cocktails, but they do have an outdoor screened in seating area. Just good old fashioned BBQ, with southern hospitality... I had the SOB sandwich, pulled bbq pork, vinegar coleslaw and purple onions in a texas toast sandwich.... Yum! The bbq sauce was delicious without being yucky sweet....OMG! Prices are fabulous too....they smoke on site with pecan wood.♡♡♡♡♡

Ordered ahead and was ready when I arrived. Pickup place no seating. BBQ Baked potato was very large, enough for 2 females. Small pork sandwich was not very small. Ribs so tender they fell off the bone. Delicious sauce, not to hot. We tried mustard potato salad, slaw, and baked beans. All good.

Great food!! The ribs were so tender. Don't let the the outside scare you off. It is a hole in the wall and sketchy location, but it was the best bbq I've had in a long time.
