Crazy busy after the fireworks show. We almost did not go in because of the crowd but we decided to try it. We ordered quickly and got our food pretty fast. Our order was a little mixed up but the staff handled it quickly and professionally. Everything was delicious especially the onion rings!!

Ice cream melted as soon as we got it. All 5, long wait, can barely hear them when ordering. I ordered the Zero Gravity, more like zero gravy. It was gray! No toppings, half full, def will not be back. Wish I could leave lower scores. Save your time and go three minutes up the road the Sweet Cone Alabama, at least it isn’t melted

Guy taking order could not get our order right. Took twenty minutes to explain we were ordering from the 2 for $4 menu. Two 2piece chicken strips with 2 chocolate sundaes, a cheeseburger and another chocolate sundae. Two sandwiches, two large fries, two mini blizzards. Twenty minutes. Still not right. Got over charged because by the time we got it all on the menu he didn't pair everything so that we got the 2 for $4 deal. Handed out our food but didn't give us a chicken strip basket, one order of fries or our blizzards... This place keeps getting worse.

I am only giving it a 4 star because the employees were dealing with what they had with a smile on their face. The registers were not working properly and they were out of a lot of items. Not getting a delivery due to a possible hurricane was probably the main reason. Good job to the staff for continuing to have friendly service.

Today i was at dairy queen and im watching has they are serving customers. To my surprise out 6 maybe 7 employees working there was only 2 that wearing gloves. I watch the manager fixing orders without gloves touching customers items and wiping his face. Even when i told him about what i saw Jeremy offer no apology. He simply went back to what he was doing. Awful customer service. He should be setting an example in leadership.

The drive-thru line wasn't moving so I went inside where there were people leaving before getting their food because they waited too long. One lady I struck up a chat with also went through the drive-thru to no success and said she had been waiting thirty minutes and at that point in time said, "I'll take anything just resembling my order" because she, like myself, was running late to be somewhere else. The whole staff looked like barely-trained teenagers with no supervisor in sight. The food itself wasn't bad which is the only reason I gave this review two stars instead of one. I highly suggest avoiding Dairy Queen. It's nothing like it used to be.

I have been to this store many time in the past year. I was at this store on Monday Feb 4th with a friend of mine. There was a young man there working, his name was Anthony. He was moving the chairs, sweeping the floor, wiping down the tables and chairs, the soda fountain was spotless and napkins, straws and the sort were all neatly organized. He himself was clean, neatly dressed, hair groomed, and polite. When he brought us our food order, he asked if we needed or wanted anything. I was quite impressed with this young man. In the fast food industry, you seldom see the young people taking pride in their work and doing a through job. I hope this young mans boss/manager is paying attention. PS The food was good too. The $5. chicken strip basket with fries, drink and a hot fudge Sunday can't be beat. Thank you. B. Day

Worse Dairy Queen I've been to in my 58 years. They were so cheap on toppings that I had to make sure I was in a DQ. On my Banana Split I had less than one strawberry, 1/4 teaspoon of pineapple, and less than teaspoon on chocolate syrup. The ice cream was light as well. My spouse was given attitude by the cashier & Ray the Manager on duty. She was told that they gave us the standard amount. We know this to be less than honest because we have family that owns a franchise as well that we travel the US extensively. When I spoke with Ray and informed him of these facts he changed his words to their standard and alluded to it being because of "what's going on there". I will never go back to this DQ again.

Visited this place because there was absolutely nothing else nearby and my son wanted to go here, because you know, dairy queen is known for their awesome chicken tenders baskets with gravy and sweet treats. Except this place looks like it was forgotten in time and the shipments of chicken and gravy and anything nice had stopped long time ago. There is absolutely nothing nice about this place. DO NOT GO HERE. You will get asked what type of sauce you want for your chicken tenders, and when you point out it should come with gravy, you will get told it doesnt and will get offered ketchup. You will also get a cone that has about one inch of ice cream on it, nothing else. My dog didnt even want to eat the fries (she loves fries) that's how bad it was. If you are traveling and hungry and have hungry kids in your car for what seems an eternity, go somewhere else, it will not be worth it Sharon, trust me. Now if you live here and you actually choose to go here, I cant help you there, just know you could do much better, much, much better.

Slowest fast food place I have ever been to. Cashier had no clue what, when or where ,she wasn't sure what she was doing, when she was doing it, or where. Lunch was 30+ wait and 30+ min for a small sundae after lunch. Workers from across the street said it is the same every day. Food was fair but not even up to being comparable to other DQs. No Ice in the machine so waited 10 minutes to get ice in our cups from drive thru ice machine, lady grab our cups with her fingers inside the cups. She finally did put ice in the dining room machine after it had been out for over an hour.I would spend the extra time and drive somewhere else even though DQ is across the street from our hotel.

This place has gotten some pretty bad reviews so I've decided to take a trip and try it out for myself with my family. The service was fast, the area was clean. I ordered the Oreo brownie earthquake and a triple berry smoothie. They were both incredibly delicious. We sat down with a number and 2 minutes later, they brought us our orders. great service, in my opinion. I would definitely eat here again. We'd eaten here a few months back and ordered meals and it was a great experience. They let us eat there even though it was near closing and the food was very delicious.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I was in the drive thru and I ordered a single dessert. I got told to pull around to the front of the store. 20 minutes later I still didn't have my order even though I watched countless other cars and customers get their order before me. I was on break for my work so I couldn't stick around any longer than 20 mins. When I tried to call the store they wouldn't answer. Don't waste your money and time at this DQ. Stay away. You might not even get your food. Worst service I have ever had the displeasure to come across. I ordered 1 item and they couldn't get it to me. Enjoy my 5 dollars I'll never get back DQ.

First of all, my car along with just two others were in the line for almost an hour. When i finally got my food they messed up my order and gave me all the toppings on my burgers when I specifically ordered them PLAIN with JUST CHEESE AND THE PATTY so they eventually gave me the right burgers. Which gave me and my friend awful food poisoning. We both had the cheeseburger and fries (not sure which gave us food poisoning) and we couldnt eat the rest of the day. Just warning future customers !!!

The manager Jennifer was very rude and is unprofessional. I ordered in drive thru got the wrong order when I came is to get order fixed she said did you order wrong thing huh? I said no ordered what’s on receipt I was given wrong thing and my chicken strips you got right are frozen and fries are cold and hard soda was just seltzer. Well this sent her over the edge because all she had to do is apologize and get me. New order but no Jennifer wanted to get combative with a person that argues for a living . Either way check your orders before leaving drive thru if asked to pull up say no I payed here my service should be here . By the way stop in say hi to angry unprofessional Jennifer that not only isn’t a good manager and doesn’t do well under pressure . Don’t be like Jennifer ,rude and unprofessional .

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I've been here many times for lunch over the years and it's bad more often than good. Consistently inconsistent food and service. Orders are wrong, burgers are burnt and crispy. It seems the only thing Ive gotten that wasn't bad is the ice cream, I guess they do that right at least. I don't usually give bad reviews but I've given them plenty of chances and I'm not sure why I keep coming back. Even my surveys that I fill out are met with zero response. Your mileage may vary but this is a fill up somewhere else kind of place.

I have received the wrong food, been told once I got to the window that they couldn’t make my order because the machine was broken (so waited on a long line for nothing. The machine wasn’t broken when I ordered?) and finally, waited on a long line to be told when I got to the window that they were closed. I like their blizzards and their pretzel sticks, but the service is so hit or miss (mostly miss) that I won’t go back.

What is with this place!? Seriously, who doesn't serve chocolate ice cream! Drove for 20 minutes just to find out they don't have chocolate ice cream OR sprinkles. Was in the area again a week later and decided to try again......guess what.....NO CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM. (After we asked if they had it and they fumbled with the question finally saying yes, everything is working) They then said the machine is broken, it's not freezing anymore. But when we went to drive away they flagged us down and suddenly the chocolate ice cream machine is working. So I guess they pick and choose who they give chocolate ice cream to, or the employees don't know how to do their job and make ice cream. Btw the sprinkles lmao what a joke, big round sprinkles that are sparse, not the traditional Dairy Queen sprinkles that cover the entire ice cream and taste good. Get your act together your embarrassing yourself and the Dairy Queen brand.

Is this really a Dairy Queen?? This was the worst food I’ve ever had. The meat was like rubber. I ordered a double cheese burger and it came with pickles, ketchup, and cheese. The interior was well kempt, service was excellent. The food was nice and fresh. I could actually see my burger steaming! Prices were the same as in the lower 48, which was refreshing in an area where price inflation is high. The only problem was how cold it was. It was only 65 or so degrees outside, but I was COLDER inside. Maybe don't crank the AC up so high DQ... you'd save some energy that way.

They said that there was a 2 for $4 deal on Tuesday nights, but we arrived only to find they “haven’t started it yet.” There was a hand written post it that said “coming soon” when we arrived. I’m a big dq fan, but this has greatly tarnished their image. I don’t plan on returning to this location, and I’ll be more hesitant to go to other dq’s in the future. The military taught me many things, but "Hurry Up and Wait" is definetly fitting for this DQ. When we got in, there were three, maybe four guest, all waiting on food. That should of told us something. After ording, one lady said she had been there 20 minutes. We actually saw our food go into the window after about 5 minutes of waiting. Then it sat there for another 5 minutes. While waiting, other diners walked in, but walked out as they saw the look of desperation on everyone's face waiting. The crew seemed to be short handed and more concered with the drive through then guest in house. This seemed to be a patern every evening from what we could see from the hotel balacony.

I usually love dairy queen. They have great ice cream, but this experience was very different. My boyfriend and I went at 9:00 and pulled in. The drive thru is very confusing to get around and with the way it’s set up you can’t hear what the worker is saying and they can’t hear you. We ordered a cookie dough concrete and a medium chocolate cone. They gave us the correct cookie dough concrete, but they gave me a chocolate covered vanilla ice cream cone. I went inside to switch it out for what I ordered, and it was clear they were extremely understaffed. It was obvious everyone waiting had been waiting there for a while and they were all getting frustrated. When I finally asked to switch it out, the worker told me that they were out of chocolate ice cream. Moral of the story, I left without my ice cream cone or my money back.

I used to work here, there is a reason why I don't anymore. They never call me and tell me when I have to go in to work. When I would call, they would tell me that I am not on the schedule. I would also go in and they would also tell me the same thing. Very bad experience. My daughter ordered a blizzard that she did not like I simply asked if they could make her something else. The manager said no and that was final. Did not try to fix the issue at all. We just spent $40 on food there and the cashier actually charged us for an extra sundae that we did not order but we kept it anyway. Dairy queen only landed in Anchorage not very long ago. They never disappoint with thier ice cream. Whether it's when they flip it to show you how frozen it is. Or all if their ice cream babies mixtures and toppings. Ok now we talk about thier food. Not my favorite and the gravy is awesome though. Just because you are a customer does not give you the excuse to be rude and disrespectful to the workers, they have their own lives outside of their job so they don’t need you coming through the drive through or the front counter and being disrespectful. My sister and I ate here today. The lady in front of me said she didn't have any money and she was giving her order for free. It was close to $5 . Not that much but not the point. We were headed to the car and one of our ice-cream cones dropped to the ground. Keep in mind now we paid for our food. So my sister wanted to go see about another cone and they wanted to charge her full price to get another one. I can't believe after giving away a higher price item because the lady said she didn't have any money they would not replace the ice cream cone that was paid for and dropped. That just wasn't right. If they could give away that item they just gave away they could have replaced her ice-cream cone or maybe even half price. It was the Dairy Queen off southern Blvd. and high way 31. I don't think its fair. And will not spend any more of my hard earned money there. If you can't treat customer fair you shouldn't be open. Just my opinion......

(I created a fake profile so no one will know who I am.) We visit Dairy Queen every time we come to Orange Beach. This particular time made us rethink our traditions. Brodenia took our order tonight. She was completely rude to my father in law when he was ordering saying things like “huh” and “what?” And laughing at him When she couldn’t understand him. She was also unprofessional because she never took her mic off so we could hear everything she was saying to her coworker next to her about us. After we took 7 whole minutes trying to order our 5 ice cream/drinks she still got 3 of the orders wrong. When we tried to tell her that we ordered a hot fudge shake and an extreme frappe and that she gave us a regular shake (?) and an Oreo frappe she argues with us for 5 minutes. My diabetic father in law ordered a SUGAR FREE dilly bar and we just asked if it was sugar free and she said LOOK ON THE FRONT ITS CLEARLY RIGHT THERE. We had to throw away 2 items because 1 we didn’t order it and 1 the person who ordered a regular frappe hates oreos. The only reason we put 2 stars was because the 2 people who got their order right actually enjoyed their order. We won’t be back.

Wife wanted something quick and hot for lunch while through with a hospital visit. Right down the road we went to DQ. I enjoyed a 1/2 lb flamethrower burger with no fries. She enjoyed a crispy chicken grilled sandwhich and a plain cheeseburger both with no fries. We really enjoyed their burgers. The chicken sandwhich needed a little extra sauce which we didnt think it would need.

we ordered 4 blizzards and 3 burgers. 20 minutes later, they brought the blizzards, half melted and they didn't even bother turning it upside down. after inquiring about the food, the server's / employees reply was 'i don't know'. it took 3 trips up front before the manager made the 3 burgers. of course that was after he clocked people in and out. when you have hungry kids, 30 minutes is a long time to wait for food, ESPECIALLY in / at a fast food restaurant. oh, but their was an act of kindness. a free coupon for a small blizzard. yeah, like thats going to make up for bad management, bad employees and down right crappy customer service. i am forced to give 1 star to post about bad service, should be an option available to give negative stars.

Tried to go through the drive-through last week and the drive through headsets we're not working. No sign or nothing so I drove around and was told by the young lady at the window that they were not working. She took my order and it was good. Tried again today and again no answer at the drive-through speaker. Assuming the headsets were still not working I drove around to the window. A young lady comes over and unlock the window and says that they are not open because they don't have a manager there. 4-5 employees there from what I could tell. I gave it two stars because the cashier girl was so polite and helpful. she was running around like a chicken with her head cut off because the place was packed and she was the only cashier and there was one manager running around assisting her making sure everybody got their orders. But it was still a mess we waited 20 minutes for a blizzard and an orange Julius nothing else and it took that long only to have messed up both desserts. I ordered an Oreo blizzard but got a mint Oreo blizzard which I didn’t want an orange Julius was so liquidy it was gross I understood that it was busy and I’ve worked in shops where you never get a second to slow down to just stop doing and going fast fast fast hurry up hurry up but when I was rushing I still made sure the quality was there behind what I was making, these kids just didnt give a damn.

We always love to get their 5 or 6 dollar lunch and upgrade to a blizzard for a buck. My favorite is the mint oreo. Their chicken strips are the best! The burgers are a little dry and too much mustard, except the one with mayo and lettuce and tomato. I wish they had a location in North Anchorage or Eagle River. We'd be there every day! The drive thru at Dairy Queen around 12:00-2:30pm is insane. So if you have lunch around this time your average wait time in the drive through would be probably 10-15 sometimes 20 minutes. It’s definitely slower than McDonald’s by a ton. But this is just a heads up. I’m here a lot during that time because it’s usually when I take my lunch breaks from work. I love the food here and the staff here are great. I’ve never been the picky person. So if you are someone who expects the world around you to be perfect or get whatever you want the second you want it from the from the employee- don’t come here. And if you come here regardless of the fact and are rude don’t expect the employee to be happy to serve you. I’ve seen too many rude and idiotic people come through the drive through. Be patient or leave. It’s easy. The human being behind the counter makes mistakes too sometimes. If they do make a mistake you can politely tell them about it. Every time I have came to the drive through and they have forgotten a drink or what have you- once I bring it up to them they are apologetic and fix it for me simple as that.

I love DQ!! Fast and friendly service, and pretty exceptional in quality menu (when it comes to fast food anyhow) ! Always clean, short waiting period. I really like that they will bring your food to the table as it comes (if time permits of course), so for example you can snack on your hot, salted pretzel sticks w/ mildly spicy white queso dip while you're waiting for your A1 Angus Steak Burger or your 5$ buck lunch (+dessert=✓)!

The worst food and experience ever. I order the crispy chicken sandwich and what I got was 2 small chicken tenders that were dry. I paid almost $7 for the meal. I waste of money

I just wasted 25 minutes waiting for cold chicken and it's been 30 minutes and she's just now making my blizzard when three guests have been in and out of the door with thier blizzards and food.... I don't write bad reviews cause I know how it is but this was ridiculous!

We came and ordered inside around 2pm on a weekday. We were the only people inside the restaurant, aside from a couple who came in after us. Service was very slow - it took us about ten minutes to get our food (which was just two sandwiches), then another five minutes after to get our shakes. The sandwiches were not very warm and holy cow, layoff the mustard...my burger was swimming in it! While this is a new and convenient location, and very clean inside, I don't think we'll be back. We spent $25 on just two mediocre sandwiches and two shakes.

Seems to be a recurring problem with DQ through out the country. Out of chocolate soft serve. Happened twice in NC &, SC recently. Hey DQ get your act together or you'll go the way of K Mart...

Only come for DQ’s ice cream. This location made me a great ice cream cake once before and the Arab guy who I think is the manager was pretty nice. However the rest of the staff never have smiles on their faces. Went today and the lady said the basics, have a great day, and wasn’t rude but had the same “blah”, dull expression on her face the entire time. Also some staff are always outside taking smoke breaks or going around in the parking lot with other people. Can be quite slow service sometimes too. It’s a hit or miss with this place

By far the worst restaurant I have been to. My hamburger had more sauce on the outside of it than it did on the inside took him 10 minutes to make one hot dog. The toast was cold and soggy, they put in half a chicken strip and counted that as one. The people were nice but their food and the way that they handle their food is baffling I will not be going back.

Food was dry and overcooked like it had been made 2 hours earlier and heated up in the microwave. I ordered a Turkey BLT and for some reason it didn't have lettuce and came with a chicken breast on it. I brought it back thinking I might have gotten someone else order and they tried to tell me that is they way its made. Lied right to my face. Not coming back any time soon, if at all.

HavIng not been to a Dairy Queen for many years, I was unfamiliar with the menu. But Jenny and David were very helpful and personable, so I felt comfortable and enjoyed my dinner and visit. Congratulations to Anchorage, Alaska DQ!

The food is hot, fresh and cheap but you get what you pay for. The fries taste like fish and are cover in little black specs which make me think the oil hasn't been changed enough. The wait times are barely acceptable. I ordered a small Reeses' blizzard and they tried to charge me for a medium butterfinger blizzard. And they forgot to give me my drink. Spend a couple dollars elsewhere and save yourself the trouble. Asked for no ketchup on my burger and it appears they gave me a extra mustard instead.

If I could give zero stars I would. The cashier was friendly and courteous, but the food was bad. I've been going to DQ for years and I don't know what happened, but I won't be back. My mom's burger was raw, my sister's toast was so hard it was inedible, the lettuce and pickles on the sandwiches were old, soggy and had changed colors, and the mayo tasted old or like it hadn't been properly stored. I've worked fast food and I suspect that they haven't had a truck come in and they're selling old food that should've been thrown out. Disguisting.

The food wasn’t fresh at all .Me and my friends were looking for a fast food place to eat on our vacation we got the chicken baskets there really wasn’t chicken it was breading .Not only that it wasn’t fresh , barely warm !Fries weren’t done not crisp had no flavor . Burgers were ok .Bathrooms fairly decent.We spent over 30 dollars and this was a disappointment.
