Their food tasted like a carnival trucks food and I ordered their new ice cream mixer and specifically said I wanted caramel and Twix and vanilla ice cream and I got every syrup topping including strawberry mixed with caramel mixed with chocolate on top of cheesecake and vanilla ice cream it seemed like they just took every topping and every syrup that came with their machine for this new item and put it into my cup because they were not sure what they were even supposed to do to make this new item. If that wasn't the case then the person completely didn't listen to what I said at all. I drove through around a second time and ordered a milkshake instead and honestly it wasn't the best strawberry shake I ever had they really over do the strawberry sauce or whatever it is that causes it to be pink I felt like it was drinking cavity. I had never been to Checkers before and I expected at least a cheeseburger there to taste like a yummy cheeseburger but I'd put this level of craftsmanship and a cheeseburger below McDonald's any day. Checkers has lost my customer repoir.

They put out great coupons in Valpak mailings & app, but this one in Davenport in East Locust Street employees were not friendly about using coupons ... This Checker's is one of the best in the Quad cities!!! Very fast service with a very friendly staff that makes sure your food is very hot and fresh!!! Especially on big orders they like to cook everything freah to ensure the food is hot when you get home! They make sure the order is right when you pull up so nothing is messed up at all! Managers are also nice and helpful they make sure there staff is well trained and fast also that the food is made with great quality!!! Other Checker's need to be like this place!!!

Sold out of fries and could not substitute anything for them. Sold out of basic ingredients like lettuce. If you really want Checkers just keep driving to the standalone locations in Dothan. Trust me.

Waited forever for two combo meals which wouldn't have been a big deal if the food was fresh and made correctly but that wasn't the case. We were missing an order of fries which we noticed before we left the parking lot so we went inside to get it. Then we get home and see that our burgers didn't have cheese or tomato (which is supposed come on the burger we ordered) and the patties were old. It was so nasty we couldn't eat it and ended up trashing it and going to bed without dinner. I'm a reasonable person and don't mind waiting if it's worth it, but it's absolutely ridiculous for a customer to wait so long and be missing food, get nasty or old food, and/or the order be made wrong. We ordered the burgers the way they come, nothing special and they couldn't even get that right!?!?! Won't be eating here ever again.

It's not bad. Not great either. Service is hit or miss. I go there for milkshakes and boneless chicken wings especially when the McDonald's across the street runs out of food. The Checkers @ 4301 North Market Street Wilmington Delaware sucks so bad. The Boneless Wings inside were cold. The chicken bite box the bites were cold. There was no sauce in my bag nor any napkins. When I want back to discuss the matter with the three people behind the counter one look like she was on drugs and the two other girls were very disrespectful. I went there tonight December 2nd around 7:15 7:25. I love that Checkers I've been going there for a very long time and it has changed. Seems like the employees there doesn't even care. Inside the store is disgusting it looks as if no one cleans. I was scared to even put my hands on the counter because of the trash people left in the smudge marks on the windows and counter. This store now needs a good blessing.

So much for "fast food." It literally took 33 minutes to get through the drive thru at this location. Once I finally made it to the window, 20 minutes after placing my order at the speaker, my food was not ready and the cashier was alternating between taking my payment, cooking and bagging my food, though it appeared to be at least two other employees in the establishment. Unfortunately, the horror didn't stop there because once I made it home to feed my children one of their meals were missing! My child was completely upset seeing as though the whole reason for going was for them to have their favorite item, boneless chicken bites. I'm BEYOND disappointed that after more than a half hour wait, I still ended up having to go home and cook something for my family to eat. I cannot say that I will be back, so if you're pressed for time and looking for real fast food, this is NOT the place for you!

When I called the store the girl told “it is what it is, and that’s what you get for a 1.79” she gave me the wrong number for corporate so I had to get the number from a different store, the little girl that claimed she is the manger kept telling me different times to call fo a refund and when I called the phone would be answered and hung up or just not answered. So I had a long talk with corporate and they sounded disgusted by this locations actions. I did do a pop up on announced at the store and it held the line up till I got a full refund

If I could choose a star to represent zero I would for this restaurant. I truly enjoy a good checker's burger; however, each time I visit my local checker's burger joint I leave frustrated and sometimes empty handed. For example, one of my visits I was asked to pull over and they would bring it out to me. I did and did not mind. About 20 minutes roll by and I start to wonder. I walk inside to see to wait rather than wait in the car. The manager looks at me and say "ma'am, we are still waiting on your fries." I said ok and waited about two minutes before I realized he was steadily handing out fries out the drive thru window. I went home empty handed. Today he pulled me aside again. Sure no problem another test God has thrown my way. Bring it on! I walked next door to pick up the pizza and when I return my passenger said the manager came out and asked what I wanted free for the wait and she said a med fry please. Well I didn't look in the bag out of good faith. I get home no free fry and no pie that should have originally came with the order. I waited at least 10 min for an incomplete order with an incomplete courteous thought. Not mad, didn't go get the pie, which I really wanted. Just disappointed I literally do not go there on purpose a lot just because I already know what to expect. Crappy service with no smile and an incomplete order with a hamburger instead of some chocolate.

Cheap food done cheaply. The gizmo that lets drive-through patrons place their orders was broken so the line was extremely slow. Patrons had to order at the window where they pay. French fries way better than McDonald's. They had a crispy outside with seasonings on them. Nothing wimpy or mushy. Burger was pretty unremarkable. It was small, covered with stuff so you can hardly taste it. Apple pie was okay. Skipped the drink because you can't get just seltzer water. It has to have soda syrup in it. I never tried Checkers before and I don't think I'll go back except maybe for the fries.

One of the worst fast food experiences ever. We waited forever in line at the window. Then, two of our sandwiches were wrong. I told the manager and he took the incorrect sandwiches and he said he would correct it. We waited another twenty minutes without being acknowledged. When my husband asked again about the sandwiches, the manager said they hadn't even made them. Due to time constraints, I had to leave without my food.

She offered me a medium or large on my combo so I selected medium. She charged me an extra dollar because the combo is only supposed to come with a small which you aren't informed of on the menu or by the staff. She asked me if I wanted bacon on my burger for an extra charge. I informed her my burger already comes with bacon. This burger has been on the menu for a long time so I can see they are trying to rip people off. When they talk to you they talk fast like some Auctioneer or something. They never smile and are serving us cattle to eat and at the same time they are treating us like cattle LOL. They put so much ice in our cups we only got a few sips out of them LOL. I went back for a refill and a couple people stared at me through the window & never offered to help me. When they finally opened a window to hand a customer their food is the only chance I got to ask for a refill. Despite all of this our meals were delicious! The bacon was very full flavor and the fries were good.

Unless you go through the drive thru it will take them about 20 minutes to get to you to even take your order, they appear to be VERY understaffed. The last time I was at this location the food was cold as soon as it was handed to me, and the fries were hard as if they had been made and then sat for a little while. Don't try to go inside to order, the people in the drive thru take precedence over anyone standing inside. Not to mention that the inside is VERY dirty as if they never mop the floor or clean off anything.. Semi understandable because they don't ever go out there, but still unappealing as a customer.

I paid $11.54 for my meal because I upsized to a large for the drink. Plus I ordered a sundae that was to have strawberries, cheese cake and graham crackers on it that I don't want on it which I got. Icecream and strawberries only, which was only 3/4 full. You'd think they'd fill it since I paid the same price for the thing and saved them on cheese cake and graham crackers and only got the strawberries which is cheaper then the other two products. And then I was to get a large fry and got a medium and then they put it in a small bag. I'm sorry, but, a sandwich and a large fry do not fit in a small bag. And also then to have to wait on fries. You have 8 cars in your drive thru you have more then one basket of fries down. Everyone I know loves your fries. I'm so tried of going here. And I really love the food. But, I hate the wait time. And not getting what I can pay for. I guess my dollars will have to be contributed somewhere else.
