I came in today on my lunch break and ordered the lunch special. My order was prepared in correctly . When I brought it to the attention of the waitress, she went an spoke with the manager who refused to replace my order or give me a discount. The manager was not very professional when it came to handling the situation.This is the first time I ever received service like this .

Stopped in for lunch and chose the buffet which was a good value for the money. We will definitely be back to try some menu items. The homemade hot sauce was very good. Service was great and our waiter was very attentive to our needs.

Wonderful Mexican food at a decent price. They have a good buffet bar from 11am till 2 pm each day, even Sunday. Very nice staff also, and since I'm a vegetarian I look and rate restaurants for there selections. They a very tasty selection of veggie dishes. The only criticism is that the place is understaffed and takes a little longer to get your food then i would like.

Carlos is my go to for chicken fajitas. This has been a local fave of mine for years. The also have a lunch buffet but I prefer to order from the menu so that I can have it made the way I like it. The buffet prices are reasonable and great for individuals that's pressed for time but still wants a good meal. Try your salsa on your fajitas it gives them an extra kick.

Food is great but the service sucks if you don't get the one taller waiter. Otherwise you get service like we had the other night. The waiter would look at us and just walk by without coming to see if we need anything. We both ran out if drink and had to go pay our bill without a ticket because he never came back. He didn't get a tip either.

Sat down with a group of friends that made it there before me, they had already ordered their drinks but not the meals. They told the waiter more people would be joining. I sat there 15 mins waiting to give my drink order. I decided to order some chips and dip to go when everyone ordered their meals. They did not bring my cheese dip and guacamole until after everyone had already finished eating. My intention was to leave before then. Service was absolutely Terrible!!!

Carlos is good in Alex. City. I may have La Posado ranked a little higher based on food. However, you pay more at La Posado. Carlos is still a great choice. The owner Cesar is a really good person who does a lot for the community. I enjoy eating there.

We waited forever for drink order after chips salsa put on table..after another customer told their waitress we had been waiting...they did too...probably 15+minutes. So their waitress waited on us. Food was good...but never asked on a drink refil til almost finished

Great little Mexican spot in Alex City. They have a buffet for the lunch not sure about dinner. But the buffet is usually pretty good Limited types of food but they have their queso dip on the buffet so you can get as much cheese as you want! Everything is better with queso dip! Very friendly staff really big on the inside so can accommodate groups. There is a bar on one side of it restaurant on the other.

WE LOVE CARLOS MEXICAN GRILL! We eat here once in a while, when we're in town. It's always a good experience. They have the best Margaritas around, as far as I'm concerned. We usually go during the lunch hours. I really like the decor. I know they have music in the evenings, but we've not been there to see it. I like the Camarones Al la Diablo. My husband gets the chicken and steak fajitas. Great price point & more than fair on alcohol beverages.

It has gone down lately. I ordered a Ricardo steak(which is usually very good) and it was ruined meat. It has a bad smell too. They did replace it. On a different day I asked the waiter for a small margarita and he said they don't have small only the 16oz so I told him ok. I found out later he lied so he could make a bigger sale. I used to love this place but looks like time for a change.

Super slow service and way over priced. The food is not that wonderful. The staff is not friendly either. Very slow service even when there are barely any customers around. Service is average at best, the food is bland with no seasoning. If you want to eat at a good Mexican reaturant... try La Posada or Cazadores. Friendly service and delicious food at both restaurants
