Food is decent, but rude staff. The multiple times I've been here, there's one woman who works behind counter very rude. Poor social skills. Typically seating is not a problem. Take out is slow.

We were led to a booth with a threadbare seat. The server was personable and kind and took our order quickly. I ordered the wild mushroom pizza with a $1.78 side of truffle oil and a thin crust. What I got was a pizza with a dark, dark brown crust, tasteless, nondescript mushrooms and a small saucer of what tasted like olive oil with a small drop of truffle oil stirred in. My husband ordered artichoke and chicken pizza. There was no chicken to be found on the pizza and the artichokes were completely tasteless. Paying $16 + each for tasteless, nearly burnt food is not what I'd call a good dinner.

I'm sorry. We walked out. Not because of the server or hostess (they were wonderful) but because the state of the restaurant was shabby and depressing. My seat was all torn up. It's seen better days and for the price of the food, we expect a better atmosphere.

There was a cockroach inside our to go box. A big fella. Our server was apologetic and asked if we wanted a new pizza but we declined. The manager, after I called to see if we could get a refund, sent us a gift card - but to be honest, I doubt we’ll be returning.

Great place for lunch. I didn't have pizza and it was very good. I had salad and half a sandwich and both were good. It was not crowded, so easy to get in and out on a lunch break.

Never ordering food for delivery again from here. Twice has this place delivered the wrong order - and it wasn’t a complicated order either! It’s very annoying when you have to wait an hour and a half to get a chicken item when you are vegetarian. Try at your own risk! Wish there was an option of 0 stars.

Great food! Service was awesome. Good menu selection, pasta, pizza, salads, desserts, drinks, beer, bread, etc! Bread and oil is brought to table first, and that is really yummy! We sat outside when we went, and the outside seating has a nice view and relaxing atmosphere.

Good variety of food beyond pizza. Lettuce wrap apps are great. Pizza is thinner (California style) but tasty with unique combos of toppings. The service was very good. Our server looked like Andy Richter and had a great sense of humor.

We were underwhelmed. I hate to say it, but when we were there, we walked in and noiced a stale dishwater smell that permeated the whole restaurant. The food quality was ok and the service was excellent, but for the price, we probably won't go back anytime soon.

I will have to admit that I have not been here in while! And how this location has changed and I must say not for the better. The waitress is subpar to say the least. And the overall cleanliness of the whole restaurant is appalling. For this I put total blame on management or rather the lack of!

Horrible. They don't offer refill for drinks. I ordered pizza the menu price was 14.99 they charged me 15.99. O. The top the service was very bad they don't give me fork or knife until I asked for them. Guys stay away from them

The standards have dropped substantially over the past few months, the menu has changed to far more deep fried options. On a Saturday night at 7:30, this location had no wait, which should've been a red flag. The restaraunt was understaffed, the food was greasy and left with an uneasy feeling. Wait staff was nice, only reason for two stars.

Went in with a group of friends. Was told wait would be 5 to 10 Minutes. Waited 45 minutes. Took forever to get service once seated and then the food was nothing to write home about. One persons food still hadn't come out when the rest of us had eaten appetizers, salads, and our main course. Asked to see manager and he had no excuse. Looks like staff need better training, including management. Won't be back as it's not worth the 15 minute drive. Only reason I didn't give one star is because the food was edible and the server looked like he was overworked and trying his best. Also overpriced.

If the big black lady with short blonde hair at the take out counter gives me attitude 1 more time for absolutely NO reason at all im gonna cuss her up and down in front of the entire restaurant!! She either needs a raise in salary or a big hug because she is the most fowl woman ive ever encountered. I walked in and casually asked how she was doing today and she just mean mugs me and throws the bags of food on the counter. This happens EVERY time im not exaggerating. 0 stars if possible

Ate at CPK at The Summit with a large group and was very pleased. They masterfully accommodated our group of 14. The manager was friendly and welcoming and our waitress was excellent. Not a single empty glass on a 14-top, and she split the check six different ways without batting an eyelash. Gotta love a well-run restaurant—not easy to find these days. 5-star experience all around.

Great service. The food was good. However, it was overpriced. My wife and I had two pizzas and 2 drinks and after a 20% tip it was a $60 dinner for pizza that was worth more like $10 each and drinks that should have been $5 each. I think they think they are an upscale place making food worthy of such a high cost. This is a cookie cutter mall chain.

The pizza was amazing; the service was terrible. When we ordered our pizza, our server offered to bring us some bread sticks while we waited. We love bread sticks and were excited to try them, but they never came. We did not even see our server until 15 minutes later when the pizza was brought out. The server did not tell us about the $5 take home deal. We had to ask about it ourselves, and then we had to ask if our order qualified us for the deal. And I never received a refill of my drink.

On 9-22-17 I Ordered the MARGHERITA Pizza, The classic. Italian tomatoes with fresh Mozzarella, fresh basil and Parmesan. Once again, started shoveling the goodness in before taking a pic! The service was great, but it was much louder this time around. But I guess that's normal for a place with good reviews :)

I like the food here. Haven't been in a while but stopped in recently with family. Unfortunately they're pushing a new loyalty program, and it has the wait staff distracted. Must be important for thme to make some sort of quota. Our waitress was more concerned with these forms than our request for extra napkins or refills.

The place was 60% occupied. They asked us to wait 10mins to be seated because they wanted to clear the tables. Finally got seated after 15mins of waiting only to sit another 15mins and still no waiter. We left!

Sweet tea wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. Neither was the flavoring in their peach tea. Pasta was wonderful, along with their chicken dumplings. Most definitely will be coming back again.

I first went to California Pizza Kitchen because I got a gift card. It was at another location. I was not really impressed. But, I was told the location, staffing, and menu had changed so I visited again. I brought my children. The food was fabulous, the service excellent, and the bartender very friendly and quick. Have been back once and plan to return again soon.

We were told it would be a 5 minute wait and it ended up being 47. Get to our table and finally order and get my food and my daughters food. My food (steak) was ok but definitely nothing to write home about. My daughter's food (pizza) was so greasy it soaked a few napkins. But my wifes food....never came. I asked to speak to a manager and his english was so bad i couldnt understand what he was trying to tell me. The only thing i understood was "i have been working alot and we just busy". Dont understand what that was supposed to fix but we just cancelled my wifes order. So after a total of 3 hours amd only 2 meals that were sub par they ended up with only $20 of my money.

Anytime we are in a city that has a California Pizza Kitchen we tried to make an effort to stop there for lunch. The food is consistently good. They have an appetizer that is an avocado dip that we love. You cannot go wrong with this choice!

I came to pick up a pizza and the kitchen was very behind. The takeout cashier was apologetic and offered a free drink. I asked for a water. I finished it and when I came home I opened the cup to pour more water over there ice. I looked and saw something in the bottom of the cup so I poured it out and there was a fingernail in my drink. I drank a whole cup of water with someone's nasty fake nail complete with pearl nail polish in the bottom of my cup. Thank God I didn't suck it up my straw and eat it. I loved their Jamaican Jerk pizza. Guess I'll have to find it somewhere else. Edit: Regional and local manager were very apologetic and said they would make sure it would not happen again and gave me a gift card. Hope it doesn't happen again but may be a while before I go back. Still appreciate them trying their best to resolve the problem.

My friend and i had a horrible experience here. I felt like i should let the “manager” David know, and he basically told me that if i didn’t like the service then don’t come back! I explained that i wasn’t looking for a free meal but that i just simply wanted him to know and just smiled and walked off. I overheard him tell his staff that i was an idiot. I will never be back and i will report this to corporate.

Not sure what happened to this place, used to be good, but I've had better frozen pizzas from the grocery store. Maybe that's what it was, they ran out of dough and just went to Walmart and picked up some of their pizza from the frozen section.
