Food not as good as it was with the previous owners. Service was terrible, one waitress sat us down, then another waitress came to us while we were waiting for the rest of our party she ask us to move, I ask why she stated that on Friday's the are busy and the other customers like sitting at the tables with the built in grills because they make more money at those tables. I told her that we were not moving, but she kept on saying that we needed to move, I turned my head from her because I didn't want to get nasty. So once we got finished eating our dinner there were a total of 11 people in the whole place. I will not be back.

Went here 30 minutes before close and was met at the door by a waitress asking, “Is it for here or to go?”. Which seemed odd since we hadn’t even ordered yet. We replied with for here. And she told us oh we close soon. We sat there staring at each other for a second and had to ask if we could still order or if we should go somewhere else. She “let” us order. Another family came in after we got our food and the waitress told them that the restaurant was closed. This family still ordered because the restaurant was not closed. Our food was okay but not good. Rice wasn’t really cooked through but I do say it did taste fresh. The only reason I do not give this restaurant one star is that the food is good most, and before this occurrence, all of the time. I like going here but the restaurant already has things going against it such as not taking credit cards, not being open on the weekends, and not a lot of seating. Service does not need to be added to this list. I understand wanting to close by the hours posted but as a fellow service industry member, sometimes it’s unrealistic. Cafe Korea, would you rather lock your doors at 8 or have returning, local customers?

This restaurant has really gone downhill lately. They were probably our favorite place to eat but since changing owners the quality of food and service has really gone down. The last time we were visited here our food was delivered to another table. The server gave us the other tables order (which was similar but too spicy for the kids) 20 minutes later. When we sent it back, she argued it wasn’t spicy (it was). Eventually she took it back to the kitchen and brought us back one of the two entrees. After another 30 minutes I finally found our server and asked for the rest of our food, to which she told me we had already eaten it and I was lying. Fortunately, the table next to us came to our defense. She finally agreed I had never received my meal and brought me a to-go plate because they wanted to close. Hugely disappointing performance from a restaurant that used to be so good.

You can tell there is a new owner. Food is slightly lower on quality and the overall service is awful. Waiter seems annoyed to be here. Fork was dirty with some gross looking white crust. Yakimondu is mostly air now. 10/10 wouldn't recommend. Just go to house of chen.

The atmosphere is cozy, and the restaurant is small and cute. The wait isn't that long, around 20 minutes or so. Most importantly, the food is delicious! The serving is worth it's price. I recommend it.

Food was good, but the rest was horrible. The first waitress was rude and acted like she didn't want to be there. The sides dishes were so small that it couldn't be shared among 3 people. I'm talking a small slice of kimchee cucumber (1 circle) was to be shared among 3 people. Had to flag down a different waitress just to get a refill on our sodas which isn't free and they don't tell you that. Only difference between the lunch and dinner portions of beef bulgogi eas that the lunch had less meat and more rice, dinner was a little more meat and less rice. The yakimando was strange tasting and had a bitter taste to it. For the price we paid and the quality and service that was given, we won't be returning any time soon!

Food was good, service was below par. My girls had to ask for everything. Refills, straws, even had to go find her to place our order. Plus at check out, we all got charged differently. We all had the same thing, the lunch special with tea. Didn't make sense, and they don't give receipts. Like I said, the food was good though. I had the Chicken Bulgogi lunch special.

Cafe Korea is a delicious Korean restaurant in St. Robert. I went for dinner and it was quite busy. I was greeted right away but still had about a 10 minute wait before a table was ready. It was worth the wait though. I ordered the Kim Bop and Dolsot Bibimbap (sp?). The food was piping hot and delicious. Definitely a good option if you're hungry for some Korean food in St. Robert.

The only reason it got 4 stars is location. Not many people know it here. It back behind the dodge dealership on the backroad. If it was towards the road it would be perfect other then that the staff and inside are great. The lunch special is something worth getting. It comes with alittle bit of everything for just $10 and it will fill you up. Very happy with place besides location otherwise come eat here.

Stopped in for lunch. Bibimbop was good, tasty, plenty of ingredients/good portion size. Kimchi, pickled daikon, and cucumber salad were all tasty too. Egg roll was homemade and decent. Food = 4 stars, giving it 5 because there's no other Korean food anywhere in the vicinity. Will be back for sure.

When I arrived back in the States in Dec 2012. I had a Korean Food Craving. My wife and I went to the Cafe Korea. We have been back several times now. Best Korean Food in the area. The Ladies who work there are always friendly and service is great. Make sure you ask for HOT HOT HOT. If you forgot cash they have an ATM on site

I was amazed to find this Korean place middle of Missouri. Food is very authentic except for the few American Chinese dishes they have on the menu. I ordered the dolsut bibimbob, bulgogi, and kimchi jeon. The Bibimbob and bulgogi was on point and delicious, hard to mess up rice and vegetables or stir fried beef. Kimchi jeon, aka Korean kimchi pancake was very delicious and not too oily. I recommend the Kimchi jeon if you had not tried kimchi before, the process of cooking kimchi makes it's taste milder. One thing to note is that they are cash only. They do have an ATM inside the restaurant if you forget to bring cash.

One of the best restaurants I have ever been to. From the moment you enter the strip mall storefront, you can tell you are in a family owned restaurant. The food is excellent, second only to the best service provided by some really great folks. Relax with your friends as they bring out the platters of appetizers. The menu is extremely accommodating to the different pallets in your social circle. Order the same dish you have at your favorite Chinese restaurant (crab Rangoon) or distance yourself from the usual and try the best authentic Korean food In the states.

The food is great but waiting time is the bad part for this Korean restaurant as well as using cash only to pay is not a good idea -2 star for time and -1 star for cash only for payment options. I would suggest they need to offer buffet for lunch too so that people would put more time with them and seeing people eating not from local foods is making this small restaurant a good change in the communities eating lifestyle habits. That means sharing another culture and becoming diverse is what we want after all.

Cute little family business. When you get there you have to wait to be seated. I had the spicy ramen with egg and beef bulgogi. It came with 7 side dishes which were fun to try. They have the option to spice it up. I went with their hottest option which actually made my nose run (I love spicy foods). We had to go up to the counter to pay (cash only) and the to go boxes are on the shelf which we grabbed ourselves. Waitresses were so cute and we never had to ask for a refill.

The staff is pleasant and very fast. The food I've eaten tasted fine, I especially enjoy the fried rice and beef bulgogi. My favorite is the egg drop soup, it's simple and delicious. Sometimes the fried chicken dishes (general tsao's and sweet and sour) taste hastily put together and barely warmed through, I personally find that quite unappetizing. Everything else I've had there is quite good though.

My family was in town for my son's graduation at Fort Leonard Wood and was looking for some local places to try. Coming from a big city with plenty of Korean restaurants, this place is definitely a jewel for the area. Food, service and atmosphere was great. I totally recommend this place to anyone looking for some good Korean food. I would definitely come back if I am ever in the area.

Was really looking forward to eating here, unfortunately as soon as we walked in the door a employee/owner, walked up to us and basically told us to leave. She informed us it would be a 30, 45 min wait. We told her that would be ok, she said no tommorow is bwtter...come back. Very disappointed.

A great place to have authentic Korean food. I do not liked their cabbage kimchi, it has an odd taste to it, but their radish and cucumber is amazing!

Took my wife here for lunch! I grew up in Hawaii and have been eating Korean food just about my whole life. Food was awesome. If your looking for a place to get your Korean food fix this is the spot. Gonna be stopping here more often now that I know it's here.

My fiance and I had our first Korean food experience here today and are very pleased. We had prompt and attentive service, wonderful food, and we were greeted by the owner/cook during our meal. This place definitely needs a newer, more accessible location to take full advantage of the experience. It's definitely a gem in Anniston and highly rated for a good reason.

This was our first visit. The kimchi was amazing, all of the dishes were extremely well prepared buy a grandmother in the back kitchen that we could watch as we dined. The food was delicious, and we will be back!

Food and service wasn’t terrible but not the best either. Being so close to a military installation, it’s a good option but in the bigger cities you’ll get better quality and service. Also note, they only take cash. They have a sign on the door that states this and if you don’t have cash, they have an ATM on site that will charge you $2 for a convenience fee. Our server was no nonsense and to the point of wanting our drink order and food order. So don’t expect the warmest of service.

Conveniently located just off base. Very busy lunch time hours. No debit/credit cards accepted but ATM located inside. Seating was tight. Service was good, food was good. Portion sizes were acceptable. Chicken strips and French fries also available on menu. Prices were fair.

Cafe Korea has the best crab rangoons in the area. I always order those and the chicken teriyaki or the beef bulgogi. The prices are a bit high, and they don't accept cards, but those are small sacrifices for such delicious food.

We stopped in off the highway during a road trip. The food was fine, but I was very annoyed that they couldn't take plastic and didn't bother to mention this until we went to pay. So... A sign that says "cash only" would be helpful. We were running on credit cards and would have been in seriously huge trouble if the bill had been any larger since we don't typically do cash out on our cards (and thus don't know the PINs). Food was another issue. It was definitely on par with fare in bigger cities. No complaints, but keep in mind that if you're used to eating in a bigger city, the menu is smaller. It has all the basics, plus a grill menu, which is cool.

A great restaurant with Korean classics, try the pipin hot bowl with rice, beef and veggies (Dom...... I forgot the name, it's on the back page towards the bottom). It's a real treat, plus it comes with egg drop soup.

CASH ONLY...but they have a ATM, which they own and charge you $2. Food great, waitstaff slow and not attentive. I think the cash only-ATM thing is a scam but it was good honest food.

I love the food. I spent a year in Korea and loved the food there. This is the closest thing to actually being their that I have found so far in Alabama. I have tried Korean restaurants in Birmingham and Huntsville and this is the best. The place is not fancy, but the owner serves authentic food with the great flavors I love. The Boolgogi is very good. I love the Mandu, it is the best I ever had. The Kimbob is excellent. Love the Kimchi. The lady that runs it is real nice and provides great service. The veggy side dishes are scrumptious and plentiful. Just a note, I ask for spicy, the food here is then medium spicy for me.

By far, the best place for Korean food in the Waynesville/St. Robert/Fort Leonard Wood area. I have never been disappointed with any meal I've eaten at this restaurant, and I've always walked out satisfied, maybe even taking a little extra home for later. The staff stay busy and constructive but are friendly. It is a cash only establishment but they do have an ATM inside. It's well, well worth it for the delicious food. I highly recommend the lunch special with fried rice. However, I would also recommend being bold and trying something new that might appeal to you. The menu options might surprise you with a few new favorites. This place is a top pick for me, my family, and friends.
