Food was great but cashier over charged us almost $10!!!! So needless to say we won't be eating there again. We had 2 buffets, 2 drinks, and 2 deserts. I don't know about you but I can add and it doesn't add up to $ 36. It adds up to $28 plus tax and I don't believe tax would come to $8. Plus we left the waitress a generous tip.

First time diners at Bruce's today. All of the food was excellent EXCEPT the banana pudding. It was awful. It tasted like flour paste. It didn't contain any vanilla extract or eggs or anything. It was white. Never seen or eaten white banana pudding. Until now. I WILL be eating here again. Just not the banana pudding!

Went to Bruce’s at 6:27, and sign states the restaurant closes at 7:00 p.m. The lady behind the register says,“ They’ve decided to close earlier.” Why have an hours of operation sign-just close and open whenever you want.

BEST fried chicken & chicken livers!! Vegetable casserole is Amazing!!! I can't ever leave with out banana pudding!! Owners Ruth Ann & Randy are soooo sweet & care for everyone who comes in! Service is great! I would highly recommend anyone to go to Bruce's!!!

Home cooked food at a reasonable price. Seems to have a limited menu to order from. The country cooking buffet is the main feature of this restaurant. I will say that the local people seem to be loyal. The staff was very friendly and seemed to know everyone that came in. We loved the fried chicken and lima beans!

Great buffet after a day at the beach. Parking lot was packed on Sunday evening with majority of restaurant choices across the bridge closer to the lake. Left happy & full. Friendly service. Home cooking.

1st time to eat there. Stopped by close to closing on a Friday night. Employees were very friendly & considerate. I got a carry out plate from the buffet. I enjoyed the tasty variety of home cooked vegetables. Will try again sometime when in the area.

Terrible absolutely no flavor. I had to put hot sauce on everything just to eat it. Differently not country cooking nice try but no. Sweet tea was bad and $36 for 2 people why so much for food probably cooked to day before.

We used to eat here often when I was a kid & it was always delicious. Today we were in the area & decided to give Bruce's a try (it's been years). We were so glad we did! The food was delicious!! Just as good as when I was a kid. Vegetable Casserole was my favorite. If you're the area, give it a try. You'll be glad you did!

What a diamond in the rough! I had little hope as we pulled up and saw the building. We were passing through town and wanted something quick and easy that wasn’t fast food. The food was excellent and just like my Granny used to make! The wait staff was also extremely friendly! Don’t let the building deter you.

It wasn't the BEST food I've ever had. It was unseasoned and bland. The customer service was good. Other than after we sat down we went to the restaurant and came out to find a worker moving our stuff for us to another table after telling us to sit wherever we liked.

Bruce's is great for southern cooking. A nice buffet stocked with all your favorites. I like in the summer they have peppers out of their garden on the bar. The service is always excellent.

LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED this place!!!! The fried chicken is unlike any other I have ever tasted. The onion rings (you have to order them, not part of the buffet) absolutely delicious!!!! There wasn't much there on the bar that my kids would eat which is my only complaint. But they are picky little eaters anyways. Everything ee tasted was delicious! And our waitress was absolutely awesome!!! So nice and friendly and stayed on top of my husbands sweet tea (which is also AMAZING tea, like I've been dreaming about the tea lol) he drinks soda and tea like someone is gonna take it from him and most servers can't keep up with him....but Rachel did!!! I just can't express how awesome and sweet she is and how great the food is! We have to go to Guntersville once a week to go to our bank, pretty sure this place will be a regular occurrence!
