Wonderful Korean place with great, attentive staff and very good food. The portions are pretty big, and most plates come with dumplings and kimchi. This place is hidden right to Jimmy Johns near the courthouse. They have table service, and a nice spacious upstairs dining area. They serve beer, wine, and soju, but no liquor. Would certainly go again.

The portions are large for the price. Like, ridiculously reasonable. It's wonderful. My husband and I love the house salad and the egg drop noodle soup. The spicy& sweet entrees they offer are amazing. Definitely going back.

This is the second time I have eaten here. The food was very good both times. Also I was waited on, both times, by Blake who was very friendly, had a good knowledge of the menu, and the beers. He was really good with suggestions on what to order when I asked. The place is very welcoming. I want some coupons from them on the raffle a few years ago and regret that I never came in soon enough to use them. The place was a great surprise!

My friends and I stopped here to look for a meal together and I highly recommended it after my last visit which was right around the time it first opened. I was embarrassed to have recommended this place after our service was not it’s best. I work in a restaurant, I know food doesn’t come out all at once and I understand it takes time but this was just silly. Two of our dishes, what should have been quick dinners of quesadillas and tacos took nearly 20 min after our two other friends received their meals. Another reason why I give 3 stars instead of more is when I asked for warm water, you know something you mix with half hot water and half cold water to produce a warm water, I got a steaming hot cup of water, in a glass! Not even a mug... that was placed RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY 1 YEAR OLD CHILD! I was like hold up, let me move that away...Besides all that, the food was delicious! I don’t see myself coming in to eat any time soon though. I’ll probably order through GrubSouth or take out if I ever decide I’m craving it.

I absolutely LOVED Big Oh's. I went with my husband and son (9 years) so they are kid-friendly. We sat upstairs and the atmosphere is so nice, it's quiet and comfortable. They also had tables on the street but it was hot...I ordered the Kimchi fried rice and it was Amazing!!! I will definitely be going back and even though there were a lot of choices on the menu that I'd like to try, I'm not sure I can get away from the Kimchi rice. We ordered an appetizer of fried dumplings and they were hands-down the best I ever had. The prices were reasonable, service was great and the staff was friendly (even after my son accidentally spilled an entire glass of sweet tea!) If you're looking for a nice downtown eat, definitely check out Big-Oh's!!!

FANTASTIC FOOD--active, trendy atmosphere. We sat at the bar & truly enjoyed watching Chef Oh & his team freshly prepare each visually inviting plate from the menu. Our yakimandu surpassed delicious. My bulgogi burger & my husband's "Boomer" burger were slow grilled to perfection, and the fries were a properly portioned complement. I was genuinely sad eating my last bite! Worth the slight wait and $$---we cannot wait to go back and try something new!

Quite surprised by how authentic the food was I had the spare ribs and my fiance had the beef bulgoi both were delish. I tried one for their Korean beers as well Hite it was similar to a pale ale, if you like that sort of thing. Will definitely be making my way back sometime...

Wonderful food!!! The ramyan with pork cutlet is my go to, but the spicy pork is also amazing. They don't have all of the little dishes you get at other Korean restaurants, but the quality of the main course makes up for it. This is a must stop place when downtown

If you like spicy food you’ll love this place. I order the dishes extra spicy. Today I had the spicy pork lunch extra spicy and it was great. Not all food is spicy. Ive never had wings like the way they prepare them but they are awesome. Crunchy and flavorful Some of the servers are newer and are “learning” and that’s fine with me. They are all friendly. I believe it’s always good to support local and because the food is so good here it’s a win win.

Bulgogi beef was the order of the night. Lettuce wraps and burritos were the media. A prime table with a view of the square was the setting. A wonderful experience for a couple of parents with appetites and a short time before a concert at the VBCC

My boyfriend and I go here once every 2 weeks or so. Their shrimp fried rice is my favorite, hard for me to try new menu items because that's how much I like it. We always get the specialty wings - must get them hot. It seems like they deep fry them twice? They are super crunchy and covered in sauce. He always orders the ramen, you have an option to put cheese on it which is new to me. He loves it! They have specials quite a bit, the Korean new year soup was great. It came out steaming hot in a black kettle, it was spicy and full of clams. Very tasty. They are very good about posting their specials on social media. If you are playing Pokemon Go, you can get a Korean dessert called "bingsu" for 3$!

The hot stone bibimbap comes with soup or salad for appetizer. The price is reasonable, the portion is also reasonable. The flavor combo is good, especially, the beef. The rice is well cooked (not mushy). I guess, I was expecting more vegetable, and another layer of flavors to kick in. It didn't happen. But, overall, as a traveler, if you only have 30 minutes to eat as you're passing through. You can't go wrong by stopping at Big Oh's. It's was a nice light meal, which didn't make me sleepy afterwards. Thumbs up!

Really nice lunch, convenient to courthouse if you have business there. Spicy pork is tasty but not all that spicy. Excellent flavor. Mandu that came with lunch were a little meh, obviously bought frozen, not made fresh. Got a side of fries because I was hungry but would have been fine. Turns out the fries are good too.

Pretty good food but a long wait The menu is large and they're flexible about adding or changing anything. The food is good, very flavorful. Portions are large and the sides are great. There's on cook, and that seriously affects time. A friend and I waited 40 minutes for our meals, and that's with a nearly empty restaurant. I don't think they can improve it, just good to keep in mind.

Fantastic!! I never had a kimchi/bacon pancake before - it was truly spectacular! Big Oh's is a small place but is very quaint and friendly. Don't miss it - the food is all excellent.

I loved both, the food tasted great, food quality food and amazing kimchi- it's a cute place located downtown in the same building where that pizza place was once by Jimmie johns! I say check out this place! I actually plan on going back very soon!

The bibimbap is pretty decent, but other dishes I’ve tried there aren’t very good. Beef dishes are very stringy and use poor quality meat. I wouldn’t think much about it if they didn’t charge “on the square” prices for mediocre quality. Expect to pay 15-20 for your lunch.

The food was great and well prepared. Our server didn't seem too sure of himself, which led to some awkward interaction with out table, but he was very friendly. The pricing structure seems to be a little flat, in the sense that items which should cost less don't. Much of the menu costs exactly the same, whether it be an appetizer, entree, or other item.

Very hit or miss. Not the most vegetarian friendly and the prices dont quite align to the quality of food. I've had some fantastic experiences and some experiences that are pretty bad, primarily due to the sevice provided. The cold noodle is awesome but only offered during the spring or summer.

It was a different menu than I'm used to but I like to try new things. My family and I went on a Friday night and it was pretty busy. The service was good but it appeared they weren't used to a busy night. I had the hot stone bibam bap as pictured. It was ok. It tasted a little more earthy than for my tasting but it was plenty enough food. My mother had the bulgolgi and it was excellent. We ordered the specialty wings as an appetizer and they are probably the best thing on the menu! The sauce is to die for! I would recommend this place.

So I've been in the military for 18 years and I have experienced a lot of Korean food to being stationed there for four of the 18 years. This is by far the most authentic Korean restaurant that I went to today I had the ramen and the yaki mandu and they were amazing. The owner and the staff are amazing as well they are very kind and very patient and the food came out very fast. If you are around the Huntsville area I highly recommend this location and restaurant because there's a lot of people walking around and you get to see a great restaurant that serves Korean food.

I visited this place for lunch as was mildly impressed...sat down at the counter and waited several minutes before a cashier spoke to me, informing me to order at the register...the nearest waitress had completely ignored me. I ordered the beef lettuce wraps and it took forever. Food was ok...but other dishes I noticed being served looked very good....having been to Korea seeing Hite and Cass beers again was cool. Will have to try the place again to gain a clearer picture...

I've eaten here 3 separate times, and each time I get a different experience. The atmosphere and location are great, but there are only a few delicious items on the menu. They win big, but they lose just as drastically. Their service/management is very obviously lacking. Very inconsistent. I'd love to see this place shape up and do well, they have great potential. Definitely worth giving them a shot.
