I do not recommend. Service was bad. Staff was more concerned with fixing their food instead of the customers. Food was just ok, when we finally received. It took over an hour to get our food and the place was not even crowded.

I have never had the worst experience ever at this restaurant. I love their chicken finger salads. The best around. I went and purchased 2 salads earlier this month and they barely had lettuce in it. I called the manager and ask what comes in the salad. She told me. I told her I just came through the drive thru and ordered 2 salads. They only had lettuce and cheese on them. So she was suppose to put my name in the book to replace our meals. I called..my name was never put in it. They should close down like goal post did. Giving them 1 star is way too much. People please check you food before leaving this hole in a wall restaurant!!!!!!!

Don’t let the name fool you. Betty’s is so much more than bar-b-que. it is beans and greens. It is double dipped fried green tomatoes. As a matter of fact the next time I go I am actually going to try the bar-b-que. I can’t ever seem to get past the special of the day or the vegetable plate. This place gives Cracker Barrel a run for down home southern cooking. The service here is also awesome. Always friendly and they don’t rush you. Way to go guys.

I was very disappointed in my experience here today. I made a call in order at 6:40 pm and was told 15 minutes my food would be ready. At 7:10pm I arrived at to pick up my order which was not ready. I understand sometimes on a Friday night they could be extremely busy. I stood there for 5, 10, 15 minutes Still no food. I watched as people who ordered while I stood there got their food before me. (I had already payed.) After an additional 10 minutes I asked what the hold up was to which I was told, they just started cooking or dropped your food. I was seriously irritated after waiting almost and hour so my wife and I could eat dinner together. Needless to say, I cancelled my order, had to wait on my money to be returned and STILL the food was not ready. I am beyond disappointed with my service and lack of food. This was the second time in a row I had to wait an exceptional amount of time. This time I just didn't get my food. Totally Disappointed!!

Came here on a trip to Cheaha and had such a great meal. The food was exactly what we expected - hot, simple, and tasty. The atmosphere was warm, and it seemed like the customers and servers all knew each other. The double fried tomatoes are an absolute must if you're stopping by.

Nice & quaint bbq joint. The portions are great for the ~$8/plate price. Tea is sweet and servers are polite. Restroom is clean & atmosphere is quiet. Definitely a locals favorite!

Sweet waitress and great service but the absolute worst BBQ beef and fried okra i have ever been served. It was just a dried out roast cooked hours before and served with bbq sauce. My wife's was the same. We got a good laugh. They seriously need to stop selling beef bbq or someone needs to take away their sign.

I had not eaten here in a while because our last experience was bad, but tonight I thought I will try again. Big mistake! After trying to order through the drive thru, I finally just pulled away because the lady kept being so rude and nasty. I decided to call in an order and wait a minute in the parking lot and pick ot up. NOPE! They couldnt even be bothered to answer the phone. I will not have a third bad experience here, they will not get my business again! Service is always rude and food is mediocre at best.

This was a staple when I was growing up in Oxford. Today was my first visit in several years. Wow, it has gone down over the years. Slow service, barely saw my waitress. The food that was the best in the County is now limited and Extremely bland. Will not go back. Price point is above average too.

I posted Thursday about the meal I recieved. Chicken and Dressing is one of my families favorite things, my Dad had to have it every Thursday. He passed away in Oct, so Thursday, being Fathers Day weekend, I went for hus favorite meal in his hinir. Ive never been nore disapointed in a meal ever!!! There MIGHT have been 5 bites of dressing, maybe 1 bite of chicken in that, maybe 4 bites of corn. The sweet potato was not even done. Ive never had one complaint about this place, but you should be embarrassed, the portions should be huge compared to the price of them! And no, I didnt pay for the small size!!!

I use to work here and it's nasty in the kitchen. Plus the owner is raciest Cathy is her name. I wouldn't recommend nobody to eat here. I've seen food get dropped on the floor and didn't go to the trash. It went straight from the floor to the grease or straight on the grill. When I worked there I fixed my own food. Because they don't wash they meat before cooking it. That's just nasty.. my opinion about this place is just don't go eat here.

I sat in the drive through line for 30 mins waiting on a simple grill cheese and fries. After waiting 20 mins behind two other cars I finally get to the window and pay. Then I sit and wait for another ten minutes watching cars pull up people go in and come out the entire time. The foods good but not enough to justify pitiful service, I won’t be back. This was at 2pm in the afternoon, well after the lunch time rush.

Great BBQ! My waitress was fantastic. The only thing this place needs is lemon slices for tea instead of lemon juice packets. Heard two other people ask for lemon and it had to be explained to them about the packets. It will definitely be a destination location for me now.

They need to think up a better plan for picking up to go orders because the way it's setup now is dangerous. Walking right in the path of the drive thru and then opening the door to step right out in the drive thru. I'm truly surprised it has been able to be setup this way and no one has ever tried to change it. It's unsafe.

The fried green tomatoes are good the customer service questionable. Just know you have to ask for BBQ sauce if you order a bbq salad or loaded bbq potatoe. I phoned my order in and gheesh the girl was rude and rushed me off phone, no thank you, just click.

The food was good it’s kind of different than the other bbq restaurants I’ve been to but that’s okay. I had the bbq beef plate with the three sides and it was joy eating it, I may have to admit I think I had too many sides to go along with it. The atmosphere was not so loud when we went in there which was okay in comparison to other restaurants I’ve been to. I enjoyed the sweet potato fries, it’s been a long time I have ever tried it. My moms chicken tenders were quite small today when we were there today which I don’t know why but she enjoyed the veggie sides.
