I find it absolutely ridiculous that someone is forced to buy a meal even if they are going in with a party. They offer no vegetarian options so we had people in our party that couldn't eat anything they offered. So we just left and took our business elsewhere.

I have being going to bama side since I was a little girl and have never been disappointed! The food always makes you feel at home and so do the employees! If you are ever on Sand Mountain and want some good southern cooking, you have to stop at Bamaside! I would go as far as to say this is my favorite restaurant on the planet! Its reasonably priced with great portions and a comfortable environment!

The atmosphere is inviting. The waitresses are very friendly and helpful if you have questions. The owner is always there sitting and talking with the patrons which gives it a nice "home-feel" type atmosphere. There is plenty of parking but the restaurant itself is easily missed due to the lack of signs and the close proximity to another business. The food is wonderful, large-proportioned southern home cooking. The only thing that I don't like is they run out of certain items on the menu but overall I will recommend it and will be returning for some good old fashioned comfort food!
