We got take out and it was very good! We could tell that the food was prepared fresh and hadn't been sitting around waiting for an order. We had egg drop soup and also wonton soup. Beef in the beef and broccoli was very tender and the veggies were cooked just right. General Tso's chicken was delicious! It had a bite to it but wasn't too hot. They have some of the best crab rangoon I've ever tasted! We also enjoyed a Philly roll to see how their sushi was. All in all, we were glad we discovered them and plan to visit often. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone!

Loved the food! I got shrimp yaki udon.. best I’ve had. Love the shrimp there was plenty in my plate and they were cooked right. My husband got 2 sushi rolls. He said it was the best sushi he’s had. The service was good. Loved it here. Totally recommend this place.

Had the Szechuan chicken... super sweet syrupy sauce and no spicy heat. Szechuan style is supposed to be hot and spicy! This stuff reminded me of airport buffet ‘Chinese’ food, I guess some people like it but don’t call it Asian. Large quantity though, of food that is barely edible. What to do with the leftovers? No need to take it home...

I have to say I has general chicken, I literally didnt have any meat. It was all breading. I am not recommending this restaurant for its food. As far as the service we had to get up and get the waitress to refill our tea. We were one table if two tables filled. I dont like leaving bad reviews, but I also dont like paying for food that wasn't as good.

I went here with a large group of friends while we were on vacation down in gulf shores. We had a group of 15 people and we called ahead and were seated rather quickly which is good. The service from there on out was terrible and probably the worst that I have ever experienced at a restaurant. We arrived at the restaurant at 7:30 and placed our orders in shortly thereafter. We did not get our food until 9:30, 30 minutes before the place closed. I have never waited that long for food in my entire life. I ordered the seafood soup which was alright but definitely not worth the wait. I work in a restaurant myself and soup doesn’t not take that long to prepare as it is usually made before hand in the morning upon opening and kept heated throughout the day. At the sushi bar, there was only 1 chef working. This was a Friday night and while it was not busy, Friday nights at restaurants are usually busy and the staff should’ve been prepared for it. The sushi chef had food out on the counter for a long time and the waitress neglected to give it to us as she was waiting for all the food to be done, which is customary at restaurants however we had people in our group starting to leave and ask for it to go. Our group size dropped by half. The staff did not apologize for the wait either. I deserve to have gotten this food for free or at least half price considering what happened. We left after 10:00, when the restaurant was closed. We spent over 3 hours there for subpar food. I would definitely avoid this place at all costs.

Went with my family for dinner. Uncooked chicken in fried rice and soup with disgusting smell. I don't know how it got so many good reviews, food is absolutely disgusting to my taste and will never go back again and will never refer anyone going to this restaurant. We left the restaurant bill paid in full and hungry.

I have eaten there twice in the last week. The wait staff was very friendly and they acknowldged you the minute you walked thru the door. We had a mix up on one of the dishes and the cook came out to personally get the order exactly how the diner wanted it. Huge menu! My diet coke never was empty. The decorating was totally unexpected and gave it a wonderful vibe. Bathrooms were clean and beautifully decorated. Prices were reasonable. Food was DELICIOUS! I totally recommend dining here.

Don't order curry seafood hot pot, not real hot pot. The crab in seafood hot pot and seafood deluxe is not real crab, it's crab stick. Sushi is fine. They have a sushi special menu, "buy one get one". It's a scam. The "one" you get will definitely surprise you.

Service is ok But the food need more love. Four season plate was horrible lobster and shrimp under cook dry chicken and raw vegetables broccoli was cool. The Mongolian chicken just have wok flavor no sauce no scallions. Chicken noddles was ok the chicken dry but good flavor on the noodles. Sushi is ok. Our server bring to us a good service.

THE. ONLY. TIME. I HAVE NOT TIPPED. even if the service is bad I will tip 20% and with as much as I love sushi that will be a pretty good tip. Anyway. My boyfriend ordered the green curry and my mom ordered hibachi. They did not ask my mom wow she wanted her steak cooked which was fine cause she likes it to sit on the fire. The curry was off. And when they brought the food out we had to wait another 45 minutes to get our sushi and there was only 4 tables in the place. When we got our sushi it was lukewarm completely different from fresh sushi. It felt like we had been eating it and brought it home. And the ginger tasted rancid. Do yourself a favor and eat at Mikato across the street. Better sushi menu and better service!

Walked in to a warm welcome. Seated almost instantly, and drinks were ordered and brought to us within the first 3 minutes of walking in. Waitresses were awesome, the food was great. I ordered Pad Thai Chicken Pad Thai hot and boy did they make it perfect. Definitely recommended.

The people were nice and the service was really good but there was a sushi dinner that was $20 and the sushi wasnt so good and there was very little of it other than that it was really good the miso soup is really good. I'd go ba k but I think I'd order something different and come with less people.

We went there for family vacation, as this was “4 star” from the reviews. When we went inside we ordered FIVE plates. Now heres the problem, we ordered 2 Rainbow Roll Dishes, it came with 15 rolls. That already is 26$. Then we ordered 2 plates of Lo Mein and 1 plate of Fried Rice. That should make it around 65$~. When the waitress came to give us our utensils, she dropped the spoon, this might not seem important but we paid 65$+. The food was mediocre even a fast food chain might even taste better. When we asked for our check, they said 85$. So, we paid 85$ and left, but remember how I said it was 65$? Well while we were in the car we checked through the prices. They. Added. 20. Extra. Dollars. Please do not go here, we got mediocre food, long wait times, “okay” service and scammed from 20$.

I came with a group of friends for vacation! I thought we were going to find a good restaurant to go eat at. The service was horrible probably the longest I’ve ever sat inside a restaurant! We went at 7:00 and left at 10:00! 3 hours of straight waiting for food! Like the people we went to eat with left the restaurant without their food! I ordered 1 roll of California rolls and chicken fried rice! The man that was behind the sushi bar had sushi sitting on the counter for atleast an hour and when they brought the food out they were literally yelling the orders and they told my friend that we need to pay attention but we were so mad when they brought the food out because we were literally there first and everyone had already got their food and their tables were cleaned off maybe an hour and a half before we got our food! The sushi looked uneven and was poorly put together! The chicken fried rice was cold and dried out when it came out it tasted like I was chewing on skittles or something! My friend sitting beside me his meat looked undercooked and it was the chewyest meat he’s ever put in his mouth! So I highly recommend to not eat their and I hope they get put out of business or fire everyone and get a new staff! I would rather eat at churches chicken! Makes me never want to go to the beach again!

We spent a week last spring vacationing in Gulf Shores and of all the restaurants we went to Aji Sai stood out. We love pan-Asian food and sushi and Aji Sai did not disappoint. The egg drop soup was fantastic, as was the ginger vinaigrette dressing on their salads. We ate there three times during our trip. Twice for dinner and once for lunch on our way out of town.

The food was great! We had the basic Sweet and Sour Chicken, Beef Yaki Soba, Curry Vegetables and Avocado Salad with Spring Rolls, Hot and Sour Soup, and Coconut Curry Soup, White Rice and Fried Rice.. The chicken was All white meat, small pieces. The breading on the chicken was just right... the Beef Yaki Soba was very tasty. Those with delicate palates beware th at the curry vegetables were a little heavy on Curry..Spicy!

We discovered this spot by accident, but we sure were happy we did! We drive 30 minutes each time we go to Gulf Shores or Foley, but each and every trip includes a meal at Aji Sai! The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, the prices are more than reasonable, and after trying many different menu items have yet to find anything that we do not like! We highly recommend!

Do not be deterred by the outside appearance! The inside is lovely decorated and the food is both delicious, authentic, and well priced. Definitely a new favorite spot, highly recommend if you're in the area and want some Chinese cuisine. The staff was courteous and nice as well.

I don't normally write reviews but the food was just really THAT horrible. They managed to cook fried rice poorly. Tasted like they just reheated rice multiple times and served it to us--the peas were rock hard. The pad thai was not traditional pad thai: the sauce they used was syrupy sweet and the noodles also tasted like they were reheated. Lastly, the sushi was probably the worst sushi I have ever had. Grocery store sushi tasted better than their sushi. The tuna they used was alarmingly chewy.

The food was not good. I really wanted to like this place, because the waitress was really awesome. But the food was bad. I had the udon noodles with veggies, noodles were bland, veggies not cooked all the way. My husband had the coconut curry with tofu, it was disgusting! The tofu was soft and barely cooked. The only thing that was okay we're the 4 spring rolls. The decor is nice, but I am not going back again. They're too many Thai/Asian restaurants here that's way better... don't recommend unless the cook changes.

5/5 stars we came when we were the only ones so that might be a different situation I ordered sushi and my mother ordered the crab rangune it was a little pricey I think it was definitely worth it. We will be going back before the end of our trip also the dragon roll was very fresh with a crisp taste.

I am a former restaurant manager. Staff delivered our food to the wrong table. Carried it back to the sushi bar. Then attempted to serve it to us. When I refused to accept the food, staff argued with me. A third staff member then intervened. My order was then put behind all others in the restaurant. Food was edible. Staff should be required to read the health codes and should be scripted on how to accommodate guests when they make a mistake. I won’t be back.

Waitress was very nice and we got seating right away. Variety of lunch menu choices! My brother and father got shrimp tempura bento, my other brother got a chicken teriyaki bento, and my mother got tofu teriyaki bento. Bentos came with miso soup, rice, main dish, dumplings, salad, and California rolls! They all said their food was very good! I personally love sushi so I got a speciality roll that also came with a free roll (good deal). I got the Ocean Safari roll and a Philly roll, both were amazing, especially the aesthetically pleasing Safari roll! Overall very good food and nice atmosphere, would recommend for lunch bento or sushi!

Disclaimer: overall my experience was OK. This wasn't my first time eating here, and up until now I have always held the place in decently high regard because my food was usually good and the service has always been excellent. Today, however, my overall experience was rather alarming. I ordered the chirashi - my usual order. When I received it, the salmon had visibly started to turn brown, and upon inspection the texture and smell were both completely off-putting. I promptly returned the dish and the staff seemed understanding. They removed the item from my bill immediately without any prompt on my part. The concerning part, however, is how it got to me in the first place. The meat was obviously - visibly - past its prime, and that's to say nothing of the smell. Especially with regards to sashimi, a sushi place lives or dies off the freshness of its meat. The very fact that expired meat made its way to my plate seems to me to be a bad sign, and I honestly can't say I'd eat there again. The service is great, and on the cooked items the flavor is good, but I'm genuinely worried about the quality of the sushi ingredients. Raw fish is not something you let the quality slip on, not even once. Ultimately, while it pains me because I ate here on my honeymoon, I won't be returning. Take that for what you will.

We went to this place while on family vacation Food was average Not nothing over the top My husband and I ordered sweet tea took one sip and it tasted awful asked for a coke instead and the waitress told me I’ll be charged for the both tea and a charge for the cokes too I noticed that they had their children at work with them running around and playing around at the sushi bar while the sushi chef make the rolls The children was touching each plate the sushi chef place on the bar I also took my daughter to the restroom and noticed an employee in the restroom with her apron on which is very nasty and she flushed the toilet and just walked out WITHOUT washing her hands!!!! This is the most disgusting place I’ve ever eaten at nasty and should be shut down NOT safe to eat!!!!!!!!!

Bad service and long waiting to be served. The server takes her time and the place is not busy at the moment. Waiting and seated for 20 min. Ordering drinks took 8 min to deliver. Server didn't come back to take orders after drinks handle which held us waiting for extra 15 min. Decide pay the drinks and left otherwise we would have got up and left right away. Will not come back again.

I obviously went on the wrong day or something. Noon on a Wednesday. Barely anyone in there. Took twenty minutes to get my "ten minute" to go order of shrimp tempura and fried rice. The tempura was still warm, but soggy. The shrimp was overdone. When I asked about the condition of the tempura, he said they made the tempura first because it was an appetizer and then waited a few minutes to make the fried rice! I'd give less stars, but this many people can't be wrong. I'll try again another time.

Great food and service. Love there sushi! My little one loved the sweet and sour chicken. We had 10 people at our table. The server was very accommodating. I will be back again.

My daughter and I went here for lunch last week while vacationing in Gulf Shores. We happened upon it somewhat by accident while searching for a Thai restaurant. The decor was quite elegant, more so than most Asian (Thai, Chinese, Japanese, etc.) restaurants. They offer numerous lunch specials for $10 or less. All offer soup, rice and an entree. My daughters Japanese lunch special also included a generous California roll and mine (a curry dish) included several tasty spring rolls. Both of our meals were very tasty. The freshness of the ingredients and the preparation was evident. We were both extremely surprised and pleased to have found this wonderful Asian restaurant. Our server was very attentive and pleasant as well as helpful with our questions regarding our lunch entree selections. We will certainly go back when in the area and I would highly recommend it if you're looking for a wonderful meal in a pleasant atmosphere.

This restaurant has a very extensive menu and many sushi choices. The tiger roll I ordered and the kids' shrimp lo mein was very good. My husband's wok grilled shrimp and scallops was good despite it swimming in sauce. The restaurant itself is clean and has a large open concept space. The service was also good.

Just moved here from Texas and it is the first place we tried. Absolutely worth every penny. Great friendly staff, food was amazing and was prepared very promptly. The place is very well kept and has a nice atmosphere and well designed. We tried the General Tso chicken with veggie lo mein and the teriyaki chicken lunchbox. It will be our favorite new place to go.
