The price is right if you are wanting to pig out at a buffet. I personally think the food is gross. The chicken is very tough. The pastries have zero taste at all. Actually none of it had any taste.

My daughter and I went for lunch/early dinner today... The host seated us and took our drink order then brought our drink and went back to the host station... My daughter ate 2 plates of food while I ate 1 and we ran out of drink in the middle... At the end of our meals we sat there forever waiting until I finally had to send my daughter for our check... The waitress stood there while I got my cash out of my wallet, then counted my cash and said to me "NO TIP??" I was like FOR WHAT?! First of all it's RUDE to ask a customer for a tip, second of all you haven't come to our table NOT ONCE since we were seated... You didn't refill our drinks, you didn't clear the empty plates, I had to clean up my own table and we had to come and ask you for my check and you had the NERVE to ask me for a tip..?! Let me enlighten you on something miss waitress... TIPS stand for TO INSURE PROPER SERVICE... You gave us NO SERVICE so NO TIP..!! And the food there isn't worth what they charge either..!!

Came back to give this place another shot and well we were let down once again. We were sat quickly mind you we came in around 9 pm for an late dinner. With that said a fair amount of waiters and waitresses just milling around. With that said got to point where I was taking our cups to the drink station to refill for us, however a manager saw and intercepted me as the waitress finally became super helpful 2 feet away from the drink station. There is more but that's just beating a dead horse. Do not recommend.

we haven't been there in a while until today I forgot what we had missed. I enjoyed it the food was great service was great. Very clean as usual. The restrooms extremely clean. Everybody's always got a smile. As far as Oriental restaurants goes in the Tennessee Valley the 88 Buffet is my pic.

I like it...ok, it has a lot of verity but sometimes it does not taste the same. Again...Lots of food and a grill that will cook the food the way you want. I will, and do eat here BUT I do prefer another restaurant better, where food always taste the same and good. My favorite here is the teriyaki chicken, the soups, fried brown rice,beef broccoli, and dumplings or pot stickers.

Had a bad day, hubby decided to take me out for dinner. We go to 88 buffet. Got my plate had 3 bites got some bad beef, spat it out waited for waitress to appear. Manager appeared, said she would have to charge me for hibachi only, got to register and then it was a plate price and a lbs price for the hibachi. Really are you kidding me for bad beef

For a buffet, it has good food at a good price! I think it's a little higher than some other buffets but cleanliness and better food is worth it. My favorites are the fried rice, crab legs, and of course the ice cream at the end of your meal!

Google Maps reviews 5 star option really needs the ability to add 1/2 Stars cuz this is really a three and a half Star Chinese Buffet but it is one of the two buffets I prefer in Huntsville. Us elections good they have four types of soup as opposed to most of them having three they have a sushi and they have Hibachi Hibachi Bar grill whatever excuse me and plenty of room for seating

Went to dinner here based on a sign that said something about great sushi. Not so much. The buffet food was good, but the sushi was poor, even by buffet standards. I've been to other buffets with sushi and it was at least fesh.

My mom absolutely loves 88 Buffet. It's not too pricey, the staff is attentive and the selection is great. So great that I didn't even notice the sushi chef during my first visit. For anyone who is wondering, there is a variety of sushi as well. Don't be intimidated. 88 is definitely a family favorite.

I was 10 min ago and this hoster had a very bad attitude with me she didnt tell me hi or something. she was so mean and tell me to go just because i tell her to sit me in another table. I was angry that i didnt want to argue with this lady. I dont recommend this place at all

Good place to fill up with alright options. The lack of healthy options is replaced with a lot of the same fried and sweeter options, but the wide array of dishes allows you to pick out great picks. Look for the sushi and crab bake for great choices.

Really great bang for your buck if you go at the right time, the staff is attentive but a little standoffish. I always leave feeling wayy too full, which I don't care for, and I am a "foodie" so eating a lot isn't abnormal.

Great buffet with a sushi bar that has raw salmon slices, salmon skin salad, seaweed salad, and great sushi. The buffet also has great seafood, Asian dishes, chicken and steak. Last but not least, it has a hibachi bar with fruits, veggies, and meats. For desert they have fruit, puddings and ice cream.

The spread of great tasting food here is immense! I tried as much of it as I could before leaving stuffed. Come hungry, you won't be disappointed. We ran out of stomach space so we will have to try the hibachi grill next time!

I had heard bad things previously about this place, and after visiting most of those issues brought to my attention didn't seem to hold water. The food overall was pretty good & the selection was plenty varied. The only thing I'd say I didn't like was some of the meat is a bit too chewy.

I'm usually very skeptical of buffets, however this buffet was clean and had tons of options. I went here because I heard they had good sushi, I heard correctly. The coconut shrimp is also really good. The price per person is very reasonable for dinner.

Food was okay, but chicken was super chewy. Service was mediocre in that they cleared plates but didn't bring refills. Finally, it was 32 dollars for 2 people which seemed kind of high for what we got. However, we didn't do the hibachi grill portion, but I'm sure they charge more because of offering it. Finally, it was kind of frustrating because I downloaded a coupon on my phone from their website and they refused to honor it. If it was expired I'd understand but it's the same coupon they send out in every coupon book and paper so based on some other reviews I think they look for reasons not to honor them.

For heaven sakes I’m just trying to celebrate my 9 year old birthday and they just ruined the moment. As a rule I only go you buffets at peak times. When I go here the food is always fresh as well as the sushi(I used to work at a sushi joint). Of course most of the food is Americanized. I only wish there would be less fried options and more authentic healthier options.

Food was okay. Got there in mid afternoon and some things were cold and dry, but over all had a fairly good meal. Had the hot and sour soup and I am still paying for it . Stomach just can't handle spicey food. It was good though. I enjoyed the chicken wings best. Had a great vanilla ice cream for dessert. Server kept my sweet tea glass full and that is very important to me.

Large selections of Asian food that are very appetizing. The sushi bar is good with a variety of rolls to select from and I always see a sushi chef behind the bar. The hibachi grill is always great, make you a plate the way you want with a selection of sauces to have it cooked in. Excellent lunch value, and quick too!

The food is decent. Better than most Chinese buffets, and the sushi is good and fresh. The service is a little off. We had a large party. Almost 20. We asked to be seated near an outlet for a member of our party with medical needs, and as they had already set up the large table we were told no. We were eventually accommodated. I also think that the sign at the hosts station is a little harsh. Oh, and if you think you're using multiple coupons for a large party, forget it. We had multiple people pay for different families in the party, and we were told one coupon per PARTY. When it's a group of three or four, I can understand. But 20? Come on.

We love this place a lot! We moved from Vegas where buffets like this can cost you around $50, so we’re very happy to find an affordable place like this. The food is good and not very oily and greasy as it usually happens for cheap places like this. We used to go there almost every day when we first found the place! Really recommend it, especially if you like seafood.

The food is ok, typical buffet fare. The service however is horrible. Every time I've been here the server tried to rush me off after a few plates and I usually have to ask for my drink to be refilled, even when it's not busy.

Absolutely the best Chinese American Buffet in Atlanta and Huntsville! The food is always always fresh, the food is delicious and the waiters are gracious and accommodating. I consider myself a connoisseur of American and Chinese food and it stops all of the Chinese buffet restaurants. It is very very moderately priced and you can even get takeout per pound which is very affordable! I love this place.♡♡♡♡

Regular Chinese food at buffet and sushi bar is good but there are a lot of American style foods at the buffet like French fries, ice cream, donuts, Apple strudel, pizza, jello, banana pudding, and various salad fixings. I don't recommend the pizza

Went in for dinner last night, was $32 for me and my wife. Food was okay, service could have been better. Paid and went home, knew how much was left on my card after paying. Went to another store and when i went to pay, my card was declined. Got home and looked, they had changed the amount charged to include a 20% tip on my cardafter we left cash on the table. Called the manager and was pretty much called a liar claiming we didnt use that card to oay. I mentioned filing a report and was hung up on. Called back and was told i would get a call back. The idiot of a manager changed the amount charged to my card before calling me back not realizing that the card company would show the different charge amounts. Be warned if you pay with a card, they will add a 20% tip to your card even if you use cash as a tip. Theres no telling how many people they have done this to that have not noticed the wxtra charged amount.

Decent quality food for a buffet with a wide selection. The sushi bar has a decent selection as well. There seems to be some quality issues sometimes. For instance some of the chicken dishes tend to have some tough very dry/over done pieces. I'm not sure if they are over done at times or if they just get stale/over done from being under the heat lamps/warming trays. The sushi suffers from similar issues. The rice might be a bit dry or things that are breaded/fried might be mushy. Most likely due to making a lot and then it sits for awhile. I think they should have smaller portions made for items during non peak times so they will go faster and can be replenished instead of sitting for extended periods of time. Overall not bad, but sometimes the smaller Chinese buffets are better quality due to being fresh food that's cooked more frequently.

Best Chinese buffet in Huntsville/Madison. Lots of selections to choose from, including hibachi and sushi. Everything is fresh and the fried food is pretty good. Sushi is probably the best I've had from a buffet outside of Vegas. There are also a lot of salad and dessert options, as well as some healthier offerings.

Significant downturn in quality. 7/11 evening, almost all entrees overcooked, sweet-sour chicken like rubber, chicken on stick burned crisp, poor peelandeat shrimp, very stringy beef on hibachi grill station (INEDIBLE). Extremely disappointing for five adults. Be a long, long time if we ever go back. Just not worth the increased prices. Used to be a favorite...

WASTE OF MONEY I got sick and puked before my 1st plate was even dented we showed up a little after 3 and it said lunch till 3:30 but they charged us for dinner and when I told the girl at the register I got sick she snatched my credit card out of my hand and swiped it for $52 DOLLARS THEY DIDNT EVEN GIVE US FORTUNE COOKIES WE WILL NEVER EAT HERE EVER AGIAN AND I SUGGEST YOU DONT EITHER SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO CHEDDARS ITS CHEAPER
