There was nobody in the store. As in the doors were locked during business hours. When I called, they were completely unaware of the reservation I'd made and accused me of being at the wrong location.

They deserve ZERO STARS. Took my money, gave me a confirmation, I get to the location (had to take a cab) and am told there is NO CAR FOR ME...... At either location because the airport requires an airline ticket if you use a debit card?? I'm driving across the country why would I have an airline ticket? Customer service was not empathetic at all, obviously I'm frustrated and I had to walk along the side of busy roads to get home. Suggestion: do not tell a customer to be more professional when you can't even have the proper information on your sites. I will never use them again, budget for a reason. Big thanks to NATIONAL CAR RENTAL for saving the day.

Small location but good service. In and out quick. Rented a one way from Virginia to RDU airport. Everything worked out good.

Rented a 16’ truck and car dolly weeks in advanced. Called the day before to make sure and they said I could pick it up. Got a call the following day saying they didn’t have a truck for me and the nearest one was 3 HOURS AWAY!. Budget will screw you over and they do not care at all!.

Car (large SUV) was ready as promised. Clean and quick in and out. If you plan to leave a vehicle there while you rent, be sure to check ahead as parking is limited.

We have had two good experiences with Budget on Lakeside Dr. We've rented a van both times., It's been ready, clean and ready to go both times we rented. I think there is only one person working the desk, so be patient when calling. :)

Rented a car from Minneapolis airport and dropped it off here! It's a nice place. I usually rent with Enterprise but Budget wasn't bad either

Dropped off a truck, thought everything was good. Get a call from them 4 days later saying I forgot something. Went to go pick up what I forgot. Turns out they wanted me to pay a refuel charge of 20 dollars. They said the truck was not filled up all the way, which is strange as when you hear the click at the pump that usually means it filled. The truck was not filled up when I first picked it up also, so I figured it must of been something faulty. Bottom line STAY AWAY from all Budget rentals, these are a bunch of lying, scheming, degenerates who will scam you out of every dollar they can.

Not worth time renting if credit score below 700 they wont rent to u ,very bad business I was told this after waiting about hour for employee to detail the vehicle we had made the over phone registration for our trip...and SN They want major credit card an run credit check so u will get inquire on ur credit score could bring score points down! Fyi

The rep was kind, but they did not have the car category that I reserved when I arrived. I accepted that because I needed to travel. When I called customer service regarding the big snowstorm in the area, I received the "run around"; constant transfers without a solution to the problem. I am very disappointed in Budget. The Lakeside Drive location is not answering their phones today (clearly because of the snowstorm), but corporate insists that they are open and if I don't return the vehicle, I will be penalized. I did not have any problems connecting with the Lakeside location by phone before today. They will not recognize that the snowstorm has something to do with that. Poor customer care will keep me from renting from them again.

Dear Budget, I am highly dissatisfied with your services and how I was treated by your telephone customer service team. On 06/02/19 I went to pick up my 16 Ft. Budget Truck and car carrier only to find that there was never one reserved! I reserved everything a month prior. Here’s my confirmation number Confirmation #: 1808334028532. As much as I would have loved to do business with Budget because I enjoy their products I was forced to make a switch to a different company because Budget couldn’t accommodate me! This caused my trip to be delayed and I had to spend more money than I had planned! Please take ownership of your mistake and make it right!!

Absolute creeps/criminals !! Had a car rental scheduled, went to the 2018 Lakeside Drive location, the guy behind the desk had "forgotten" to call me notifying me he had no car for me. The topper is he said he contacted the local airport and they had no cars available. I was angry & decided to drive to the airport and immediately the girl there had me a car. She wouldn't honor the online price i had in hand printed out. Charged me $70 more than the online rate. The creep at the Lakeside Drive location should be fired for pure stupidity. I called the 1-800 number to try to satisfy the online rate and the guy told me that he would but it NEVER was refunded to me in any shape, form, or fashion. If you go Budget, open your wallets and prepare to donate blood as well !! Avoid at all cost !!!
