I can’t believe I ever rented a car anywhere else. The employees are amazing (Kaylee!), and the whole process was fast and easy. We were in and out in less than 10 minutes. The car was very clean and ran well. Really happy my insurance sent us to these guys!

I had a problem come up with my car just before we were about to head out to Yellowstone. For some reason everywhere we looked had outrageous rates and were completely out of our budget. We called this place as a last attempt and Kaylee answered the phone and was friendly and seemed like she cared about our situation and wanted to help us. She found us a vehicle that would fit all of us and gave us a great rate! Almost half of what the others were asking. The vehicle we got was brand new, in great shape, and had plenty of room. The Mechanic came out and showed us where the spare tire was in case of an emergency and went through all of the vehicles features with us so that we knew how to work everything. I was super impressed with this company and I will be recommending them to everyone! Thanks Affordable Rent A Car

This was probably the worst place my boyfriend and I have rented from. They charged us $250 for smoke damage without even smoking in there. I definitely will NEVER go there again. Worst place ever. I will not recommend it to anyone either.

I recently went to Affordable Rent A Car to rent a minivan so I could take my family from out of town around the city. It was a very last minute decision, I’m talking within a matter of 20 minutes of having the idea we had a car and we’re out and about. Kailie and Chass were extremely nice and helpful. I met a few other employees and the owners who couldn’t be nicer. If you’re in town and in need of a car to rent, definitely go to Affordable Rent A Car, you won’t regret it!

Avoid this company at all costs! I had a vacation planned that started in SLC, and 4 days before we were set to leave, these people called and said they had a "glitch" with their system that allowed me to reserve a car that they didn't have. They canceled on us with 4 days notice. When we started to look for alternatives with only a few days notice, obviously the costs had increased immensely. Our reservation was quoted at $327, and now our only option is to go with Avis for $1,120. Thanks to these unprofessional idiots, I am now forking over $800 more for a reservation when I had planned this trip MONTHS ago. My guess is they found out they could make more money because of the upcoming solar eclipse, and they just decided to screw over me and 22 other clients that experienced this "glitch." I would consider any reservation you make to be completely up in the air, as they'll pull the rug from under you if they feel like it. What's worse is that I have been waiting for several days for a call from the owner "Dave" so we can discuss this and talk about a solution, which I think should logically be a check covering the difference for my new rental. Dave has yet to call, and his own employees say he is ignoring their texts and calls. When I got his cell number myself, OF COURSE he didn't answer, and he had a full voicemail. Dave , you're a terrible businessman and you should be ashamed. To all potential customers, pay a bit more for one of the big names who won't screw over your vacation.

Terrible service and very unethical! We drove the first vehicle off the lot and couldn't go over 40 Mph without feeling like the tires were going to fall off. Turned around to get another car and wasted more of our time! We needed a replacement car while our car was being fixed and rented from them for several weeks. They increased our rate without consent and I am currently in dispute with them for charging my card well over $1,000 after the car was returned. And no... there were no damages to the vehicle it was brought back in great shape and checked off by their employee. Still unsure what these charges are for as the gals at the service desk will tell you they need to get with the Owner before they have any information... and I have yet to hear from them! If you want hassle, headache and unauthorized charges to your bank account then this is your company!

Chris sold me my old Chevy Silverado and i have put almost 100k miles on that thing with no major issues whatsoever, it's still runnin' strong and hauls my camper everywhere! They are good peeps and good to do business with, check them out if you are looking for some wheels

Purchased an automobile from people piranha used car sales lot out of this building I don't know if there is sociated but I've certainly would never recommend they were 2 Fast to add figures wrong and refused to even give me back my deposit that they made me give them while I ran blocks away to get cash off of my card when they told me they would take it card I forgot to get give it to them the receipt and then they said no they weren't going to give you the deposit back added $100 additional to the car it was just the poorest experience I ever had with a used car lot

Staff was friendly & helpful. Car was clean, priced right, and gave us no trouble. We requested a minivan and were given a 2016 Grand Caravan with ~50k miles on it. Dropped us off at the airport in our rented van, so we didn't have to lug all of the luggage into a different vehicle. Overall a great experience! Notes: - Spouse is included as a driver for free - Additional drivers are $5/day (i think - I could be wrong on the exact fee) - They require a copy of a proof of insurance (from your own car) when you pick up. This was a surprise to us, but luckily we could get to it online. - They take note of the fuel level and expect it to be returned at or above that level. $6/gal charge otherwise. This is pretty normal, the only difference is that the big guys usually start you with a full tank and expect it to be returned full.

I have to say one of the best car rental experiences I've ever had. I was taking a trip up to Island Park, ID with some friends and the team at Affordable went above and beyond with getting us the van for our large group and making sure the weather wouldn't slow Us down. . It was cold & dark the night we dropped off the van and my son's Go-Pro fell out of his bag... Becky and Heather we're able to track it down and stuck it in the mail for Us... I highly recommend them for any future trips you have in Salt Lake City...

We saved lots of $$! with Affordable. They worked with our budget to get us into the car we needed for our family vacation. Easy pick-up from the airport and car drop-off, even after hours the Park n Jet van was quick and comfortable. I spoke to customer service and I got a decision maker that made things easy - not some operator in the Philippines that has no clue. I can't say enough good things about Affordable Car Rental. I needed to secure transportation for a college student conducting field research in Utah for the summer. The big companies rip you off with extra fees and policies if you're under Age 25. Under Age 21? FORGET EVEN ASKING. I contacted Affordable Car Rental and their agent (Ashley) took great car of us straight away. Excellent customer service, accurate monthly billing, friendly advice. The vehicle provided was an upgrade over what was discussed...a pleasant, safe rental experience. All business was conducted promptly and efficiently over the phone. I am happy to give Affordabel Car Rental and Sales my highest recommendation.

Sorry but we had a bit of confusion about my rent a car, there was a mix up about when my own car was repaired, that wasn't their fault, and some people would say they were just being bluntly honest, but I thought they were just rude. They really need to improve their people skills. I won't be back.
