I decided to bring my classic automobile to this dealership because of the assistant service manager, Ray Greene. I met Ray previously while I was having routine maintenance on my Chevrolet Malibu. During that time, I discovered that Ray was a classic car guy, and he understood the care that is needed to repair a classic automobile. After our conversation, I decided that I would call Ray at Tasca when my antique needed repair. It was a great decision, and now I feel comfortable knowing that I have a reliable, knowledgeable, and clean repair shop to do my repairs.

Tasca was excellent. Katrina did an outstanding job, she emailed me right away and set up a time convenient for me. Alex was my sales representative. He greeted us right away, he was a very friendly guy. He had the vehicle ready to test drive. I found Alex to be confident, knowledgeable and professional. The managers were also very helpful and friendly. This vehicle was replacing my Grand Am of 14 years and Tasca did not have that "dealership" attitude. No pressure and they sold me Mercedes Benz Blue Tech. I was looking for a diesel and they sold me a well maintained ML 350 turbo diesel out of a Chevy lot. It was just what I was looking for. These guys don't follow through with promises. Had a 20 day temp plate after purchasing a new truck. A week before the plate was going to expire my salesman called and told me the car was registered and was going to send plates. He never did. I called 3 days before the temp plate was going to expire and was told by the salesman that the plates and reg wasn't sent yet and he would over-night them to me. I never received them. I called again today, the last day the temp plates are legal, and the salesman once again tells me he will overnight the plates and they will be here tomorrow. I asked why they hadn't sent them a few days ago like he said he would and he took no responsibility. He said he gave the plates to some one and they never mailed them. On top of this, when I bought the vehicle brand new, for some reason the owner manual was missing. I was told they would mail me one. Still haven't received that and it's been 3 weeks.. So now my vehicle is not legal to drive until they get me the plates and reg. They've had almost 3 weeks to get this done. Go some where else. "You will not be satisfied" if you buy a vehicle from this place.

My only negative comment is, they offer complimentary car wash which I took advantage of.. my car was still a bit dirty. It's a white car, so very noticeable...right on the hood, still some bugs that met their demise. Overall good work:)

Had a wonderful experience at Tasca with my salesman Erik. If you are procrastinating or even just thinking about a new (or new for you) vehicle i would highly recommend this dealership in particular and MY salesman specifically. I knew that I was purchasing a vehicle relatively quickly and did my online research, and visited several dealers. I have some true car salesman horror stories to tell- until I walked into Tasca in Woonsocket. I was greeted politely as I walked in the door and left to look around until I was ready to speak to someone. Erik looked up my online selections and asked real questions about what I was looking for. He made arrangements to deliver cars from other Tasca dealerships to my local store so that I could test drive at my convenience. He also listened carefully to what I was interested in and made suggestions, including new car opportunities, which was the way I decided to go. At no time was I pressured, spoken down to or made to feel like I HAD to make a quick decision. I am so very happy to have my new Chevy Trax in time for the summer. Thank you, Erik and thanks Tasca for having a customer driven dealership. Like the ad says, "You will be satisfied"!

My only experience with Tasca Chevrolet has been with their service department. So far I'd rate them 4 stars, although the only service I needed was to have a front license plate bracket installed. I was hoping to establish a service relationship with Tasca for two Chevy vehicles I own, but I admit I'm a leery about relying on Tasca Chevy after reading the reviews of other service center customers.

Clean waiting area..they actually keep the tv remote on the table so you don't get stuck watching cartoons. Nice, friendly people. Mr. Greene is very courteous and always smiling.. Overall, a good experience. Like everyone, I just can't stand waiting..but it's a fact of life.

My buying experience was great. I had an awesome sales person & the staff was very patient with my children. I will definitely consider buying from them in the future. Only 4 stars because I had to come back for a manual and floor mats, which out of the 4 mats 1 didn't fit and it's the one i needed most. Also when I went to pick up my manual & mats i had a VIN check sprung on me. He told me 15 mins & I waited over an hour. Besides those few issues I would recommend buying from Tasca to anyone.

This was my first Tasca service visit. It was OK. Changed the oil and rotated the tires. Also looked for the source of a rattle. It is better but I still hear it. Finally, I asked them to replace the front and back wipers. They did. However, when it was complete, I found out it cost $80 to do it. Wow. Wish I had been warned before they were installed.

Horrible after care service. Car with a warranty is treated with every reason in the book to prevent. Managers, service department and sales rep all end the after care of your car's purchase once you sign. Ensure you test drive the car for longer than an hour and don't sign until every problem in the car is taken care of PRIOR to signing. The prices are industry average just like every other place, except you can definitely find better service elsewhere and I suggest it.

Tasca is by far the worst car dealer we have ever dealt with. From the moment we finalized paperwork it was a nightmare. We purchased our GMC Acadia from Tasca Used Car Dealer. It was down the street from Tasca Chevy. The day after we signed papers we received a call that the paperwork with seller was wrong and therefore the car was not technically ours and could not be registered. We went back they gave us a dealer plate until it was resolved. Several days later we called to check and Tasca Chevy answers and says the used car dealer was abruptly shut down. Mind u we are still driving with dealer plates(which is illegal to do). We explained we needed to know what was going on. We were told they had no record of us purchasing the car. Thank god for copies. We were told the contract is probably in a box somewhere. Meanwhile we had to take it back to have several repairs done where the service department told me we purchased in Dec. not March so they could claim the warranty expired. Again thank god for contract copies. Finally they were able to resolve the contract issue after a month driving with dealer plates. Less than 2 weeks after we purchased there was a squeaking in the engine. Again to the dealer which an hour from our home. They “go through the entire car”. Say there is nothing wrong but a piece of broken plastic which they zip tied. Squeak goes away temporarily. 2 days after the warranty expired engine light went on. Called again was told we just checked it it’s probably the gas cap. Fast forward to April 2019 need a new inspection sticker which we could not get because the engine light was one. We bring it to our mechanic who said I hate telling u this but the engine is destroyed and has been for extended period of time. We call the dealer and are told we’ll if it needs a new engine we can’t offer a decent trade because it isn’t worth anything. Obviously they deny anything was wrong with the engine when they sold it to us. We brought the car to another dealer who pulls the report on the vehicle and we find to our horror the car was in 3 separate accidents the year it was traded all which caused damage to the working parts IE the engine. So basically they sold a car to parents with 3 small children knowing full well the engine was in late stage failure and could give out at any time. Also were told we will clean it up to get the engine light off and sell it at auction meaning nothing will get fixed and on to the next victim. Please do your research and don’t rely on this company to tell u the truth.

All the staff I had the pleasure talking with were very friendly and non intrusive. The showroom looks modern and cozy. The client waiting area along with refreshments is very nice and stocked with quality goods. The selection of vehicles is good I even got the impression if I was looking for a specific model of car the staff would do all they could to get it for me. Negotiating and financing was a very good experience. Jay did all he could to meet my requirements. The options were clearly laid out making it better for me to get where I needed to be. Tim Guilette my sales representative is awesome. I think I could hangout with him all day long. He worked hard to get me into my car ASAP. If you are looking for a good car shopping experience I would recommend going to Tasca in Woonsocket RI and ask for Tim.

I have mixed reviews they are not military friendly and every time we purchased a New vehicle the General Manager would come out and introduce themselves plus this was a cash deal maybe East Coast people are not social. After a pretty substantial search of similar vehicle on cargurus.com, I found what I felt was the newest, lowest mileage, fairly-priced, Jeep Patriot at Tasca Chevrolet in Woonsocket. Called Tuesday evening to check that the vehicle was still there. Spoke to Tim who confirmed and told me he would be happy to show it to me the next morning. I showed up about 8 hours late on Wednesday evening and Tim was still very happy to show me the vehicle and give it a test drive. I had seen the price history of the vehicle on cargurus and felt that it was at a great level for the value. Still, I told Tim I was expecting to walk out the door not paying more than X dollars including all tax and fees. No hand-wringing or pushback, he just asked for a few minutes to see if it can be approved. Following approval, he gave me a timeline for when it would be registered and new plates would be on it. Timeframe was accurate and I drove it off the lot without a single hitch in the process. I was in downtown Boston with the vehicle that night, and the White Mountains of New Hampshire the next day. This is the perfect vehicle for me, thank you Tim and the Tasca team for a no-pressure, no-hassle experience.

I am from Indiana and was searching everywhere for a new 2016 Chevy 3500 diesel which was a needle in a haystack at the time. Bobby got the call but unfortunately the truck was already sold. He went ahead and searched the entire country for me anyways knowing that he was not going to be able to earn my business but wanted to offer his help anyways. He found me one out in Texas which I flew out and purchased the following week. He gave me all of the specs on every truck he could find and was the best salesperson I have ever dealt with in my entire life. Call and ask for Bobby Z and you won't regret it. I had gotten a diagnostic from a mechanic I was seeing. I wanted it verified and wanted to find out everything else wrong with the truck (2003 S10) before I put money into it. I'm happy with the job they did. I wasn't thrilled with how long it took to put a cost on things after the inspection and wish they would have broken it up into parts and labor. Ultimately, they gave me the information I needed.

I have always found Tasca to perform reliable, expedited service. The service level standards exceed other dealerships I have dealt with. From Stacey and Jay on the sales side to Carl and Ray on the service side, their team is stellar. I feel that when I call and talk to Ray in service, I know I am not being provided bad advice or being taken advantage of. I had to buy a replacement car quickly for mine that was rear ended. I spoke to Jim and within minutes we found two cars that fit my requirements. He was very knowledgeable about all of the particulars and extremely efficient. I had a new car, transferred the plates, signed the financial papers, performed the insurance transfer and even notified the rental company to pick up my rental at Tasca within a couple of hours. Jim went out of his way after the purchase to take care of sending me the garage remote I forgot and also sending me an owners manual. I have purchased at least 20 cars in my lifetime. Purchased a 2017 Ford Mustang and received a very fair price. However, that is the only positive thing I have to say about this dealership. Allow me to provide you with a running list of my experiences with them: - Started with an online ad that incorrectly stated the car was a manual (was clearly an automatic) and had the incorrect mileage listed (16,300 instead of 13,600) - Was sold an after-market warranty that began immediately even though the car still had 2 years on the original factory warranty and I explicitly stated I wanted to extend THAT WARRANTY - It took almost 2 weeks to sort out the warranty issue and submit paperwork to cancel it. It took 4 weeks of no responses for me to finally get an answer to its status from the warranty company, not the dealership. Took another 2 weeks of conflicting information to find out where the refund check was sent and what was done with it. - Dealership waited until the day my temporary plates were expiring to attempt to register my vehicle (in spite of repeated inquiries from me asking about its status). Due to an error with the DMV and my town the application was rejected resulting in my inability to drive the car for 4 days while it was resolved. - When I went in to express my displeasure at the overall experience (no yelling, nothing "personal", just a few salty words in the manager’s office, not on the floor) I was verbally mocked and then physically confronted by Shane Young, an individual who wasn’t involved in the conversation up to that point. - Throughout the whole 2 month process the sales representative, Jose, was uncommunicative for days/weeks at a time and provided misleading or incorrect information when he did respond. I went to Tasca specifically because I have heard nothing but rave reviews about the experience. Apparently that experience does not extend to the Woonsocket Chevy location, a feeling that was echoed by the new manager (I believe Matt) who indicated he was brought in to clean up this troubled location. Unfortunately it is too late for this customer, who will not be a repeat client and who is going to make sure others learn of my unbelievably negative experience.

First time customer. Great service and friendly staff! Went in for oil change and tire rotation. They advised me of a recall that I was not aware of and took care of it. Best part was they did not try to up sell me with "recommended" services like some other dealers do. Will definitely go back!

Crooks, cheats, and unpleasant to deal with. One star is generous. We bought a used truck that as part of the sales contract, they agreed to do some body work. It was done improperly, and had another body shop confirm in writing they did a horrendous job. They managed to spray undercoating material on the plastic fenders that stained them permanently, check out the pictures. Getting a hold of anyone to discuss it, and get an explicit agreement that how they would fix it, was impossible. The second time they tried to fix it, our sales person wasn't there, it wasn't on a lift as agreed, and they just wanted to hand us the keys and have us leave. It was a slightly better job, but they didn't clean up the original damage they did, and parts of the undercoating are still peeling. I had to demand three times for the sales manager to come out and look with me at what they did; he refused and and started screaming at us. Well, you win, Tasca. I don't have the energy or the time to deal with this, but rest assured no one I know will ever visit your dealership and I will never own another GM. I don't know how you stay in business.

The only 2 things I would advise is a bigger space for customers, and when getting service from other services they've vacuumed my car. I felt like that was a plus plus. Had a Corvette for sale ( used) called and not much info. So I set an appointment on line and someone called to confirm. Took time off from work to purchase vehicle only to find out it was already sold a few days previous to my appointment. Talked to the sales folks and took a while to figure out what was going on. Once they said the vehicle was sold I was left in the show room. Would never purchase a vehicle from this dealer regardless of their offerings? They appeared they could care less. I usually could care less if things do not work out regardless of purchase but my experience over 30 plus years, theses folks are the worst! Totally was not usual, actually was in the show room for 20 minutes before I had to ask a sales person to help me!

All of the dealers would not schedule service for my vehicle due to liability contingent upon the age of the vehicle. However, Tasca Chevy has compiled some fine technicians, and those more than capable in diagnosing early model vehicles. We began to have a problem with our brakes. They seemed to feel funny when applied, and it took some time for us to stop the vehicle. My husband called and made an appointment. We had had the vehicle inspected end of March, and at that time the brakes passed, according to the inspection report. It turns out the brakes had gotten rusty and were stuck, and we needed new ones. They also diagnosed a couple of other problems and corrected them. I still find it odd that the brakes passed inspection 3 months prior, and were deemed unsafe end of June. We admittedly don't use that vehicle a lot, which is the cause of the rust and early brake failure, but I don't think we put more that 1600 miles, if that, on the brakes in those three months, so I am surprised that this happened so soon after inspection. Leaves me to wonder if the person inspecting was as alert as they should have been. I don't feel comfortable driving with unsafe brakes. That said, they've been repaired and I'm happy about it.
