My experience involved an interaction on the phone. The rep said that no amount of money was sufficient for renting a car without a credit card. Debit cards are not accepted regardless of how much balance you have in your account. The rep even refused to consider a cash payment in excess of the total value of the car for a 48 hour rental. He wouldn't rent a $7K vehicle for $10K in cash or debit card hold. This defies logic. There is no reason to refuse an offer like this unless you just don't understand basic business. Additionally, the rep was far from courteous on the phone.

My girlfriend and I rented a car there and the lady who helped us failed to put my insurance on the rental agreement even though she put my girlfriends insurance on. It even states in their policy the BOTH drivers must have insurance on the agreement to even rent the car. She broke her own company's rules and still rented the car to us. Well I was involved in an accident and now may possibly be sued by a recovery company because the lady at the rental place failed to put my insurance on the agreement and my girlfriends insurance won't cover me because I'm not on her plan. Horrible service, horrible experience, I will never rent from them again and will tell everyone I know never to rent from them.

Have utilized rental trucks multiple times with little hassle. The old weekend girl (Heather?) was always pleasant to work with and made sure all was communicated in an easily understood manner. The last time we rented a vehicle, there was confusion with the length of the storage area plus the length of the rental. Had to rent a different truck to finish the move which was poor management on their part. Things happen but the clear decline in comprehensive service is too blatant to ignore.
