Small airport with only 6 gates but it's a new facility and is quite nice. I got stuck here for 15 hours one day because of bad weather in my destination city. Friendly staff at the little lunch counter made a difficult situation bearable by being friendly and putting up with a number of grumpy stranded passengers all day. I won't hesitate to fly into here again when I need to return to the area.

Fantastic Airport that is easily accessible for all civilian aircraft or military. Lots of fueling options available with staff available many times of the day. Definitely recommend stopping here when you need to get some fuel and helicopter or small plane or large plane. Restrooms are clean and the main terminal is very short distance away. Thank god they're building a new terminal. Unfortunately it came a little too late for the oil boom. The TSA is usless and the baggage check takes about an hour. You wait for about 30 minutes to get your bag even though the plane is parked 30 feet from the baggage area.

The airport is fine. The Hangar Snack Shack on the other hand is horrible! They ought to kick this guy out! He is rude ....to PAYING customers. No one deserves this treatment. His presence is holding back progress.

Literally the worst air port in the continental US. My friend missed a flight and the attendant at the desk said "20 minutes" to get back to them about flying out a different day. 20 minutes turned into two hours of looking around this empty airport for any form of help. And they insisted you have to be there 2 1/2 hours before your departure time. A joke.

Minot International Airport is one of the smallest airports that I've ever been in. You step off the plane into the terminal. About 20 steps later you are out of the terminal area and into the check-in/rental car/baggage claim area. They are currently building a new terminal that appears to be significantly larger than the current one, however that's not supposed to be done until early 2016. This is a typical mini-airport. The security line was quick, but only because there there very few people coming and going. As far as I can tell, flights are basically back and forth to Minneapolis. After you pass security, there is a single food option - "The Hanger Snack Bar." One plus - if you get a beer at the hanger snack bar, you can drink it anywhere past security (this is still a small area). I posted a picture with some prices. It's still $3 for a bottle of coke, but I suppose they have to make $ somehow! The people are generally friendly and it's moderately easy to get in and out of, but the current setup leaves something to be desired. I'd still fly in and out of here, but it's certainly nothing to write home about.

No outlets for block heaters in the parking that you have to pay $14 a day for. So if you travel during subzero months your vehicle will be stranded if it needs heat to start a -33F. Then no rental cars available this place is a joke. Would rather travel to Billings international airport and fly out. Much better everything at that airport.

It's okay until you need to talk to a person. Then, good luck finding anyone! If you lose a bag when arriving into this airport, expect to wait 12+ hours to get it back! No one answers the phone there either.

The new airport is very nice. Didn't catch her name, but the bag check women with blonde hair for Allegiant was very unreasonable and refused to hear anything anyone had to say. On a bit of a power trip perhaps.

Nice facility, very clean. The TSA agents are so kind and friendly. You don't need to come as early as you do for most airports in busy areas. About an hour is more than enough time to get through screening and find your gate. It took me less than 20 mins from the time I parked my car to be fully screened and sitting at the gate. I don't hold the airport accountable for the specific airlines, I review them separately. I do wish their parking was covered though.

I travel a lot and the new airport is very nice. However, baggage check is pretty silly - I get OKed with my carryon @ the front desk, but get checked again @ the Gate. TSA Check is extreme 2nd to none in the US and the Coffe Shop/Gift Shop is extremely under Staff with long waiting lines. I think I will start flying in/out Bismarck in the future.

Get ready to wait in line. The ticket counter line is 45minutes followed by a 30min wait to check your bag then another hour,to make it,through TSA. But the ticket counter only opens 2 hours prior to takeoff. Every departure is a gamble to make your flight. This airport is extremely small and catastropilhically understaffed. Avoid at all costs.

Wife’s plane landed and they waited on the tarmac for 30 mins + as they waited for the one other plane at the airport to move. Way to go Minot, build a beautiful 6 gate airport, use 2 of them. What a waste.

Brand new airport, but don't get here any earlier then 2 hours before your flight. They will not let you back to your gate. Which sucks because that's where the food and everything else is. Not cool Minot!

I am very surprised at all the low, 1-star rating reviews that I am seeing on here. Minot International Airport, I feel like deserves a 5-star rating and review. Why? Because all the staff here including Security truly do their ultimate best in helping you get to your destination quickly and smoothly. I was amazed at how convenient it was flying into this airport. A few things that might make you want to fly into Minot International Airport next time: 1. This airport was recently remodeled a few years ago and has new, advanced technology in the Terminal as well as Security checkpoint to get you to your destination faster and easier! 2. The staff here are very friendly and kind! They care about your traveling needs and will go all out to make sure that you are satisfied! 3. The airport itself is very clean! Restrooms are sparkling, and everywhere you look, it all appears "spick and span." 4. Your bags arrive off of the plane on the baggage claim in record time! Some airports have problems with not getting customer's bags on the baggage claim soon enough - NOT Minot International Airport. My bag was on the baggage claim in no time at all in less than 20 minutes after I disembarked the plane! So... what are you waiting for? Fly into this friendly airport and enjoy supreme service with a smile!

Got through ticketing and security in about 10-15 minutes. It is a small airport, so if you are flying at a busy time get there early. My flight happened to leave early so it was not an issue.

Had a 5 a.m flight, arrived at 4:32. No one at the check in counter for Delta. Asked women at a different check in counter where they were. They said they were upstairs working the gate and that they go up there 30 minutes prior to departure. My husband missed his flight, and had to pay a $75 change fee. I’ve never had this happen at any other airport in my life. The two women could not have cared any less; they probably could have helped us out with something if they wanted to.

Worst airport I've been to in my life. Had to call the airport to get someone to come down to the baggage check in. Then get up to security and then have to call the TSA office just to put us through security. Flight before ours was cancelled so they jammed everyone on our flight. Had to burn fuel on runway cost us even more time. Absolute joke of an airport!!!

Disappointed!! It's a shame I can't leave NO stars because this place deserved it. I put a complaint in with delta themselves because I thought they would handle the situation. Took almost a month to reply back to me on this matter. I had a puppy shipped to me through Delta. When I arrived at the airport there wasn't 1 employee available for 30mins. I literally walked around knocking on all doors looking for someone. When someone finally came out I was told, "we take all of the baggage off the plane first, then the animals" okay...not a problem. I tried again when the baggage was running on the baggage claim. Keep in mind that was 15 mins later. Her response, " We don't get the animals until the baggage has stopped moving." She was able to go back and get three large bags over 50lbs for someone, but couldn't get my puppy?? I started getting irritated, and made the comment that shouldn't the animals be a top priority here. Her response, "we care more about the luggage than we do dogs." Clothes over a living thing, really?? Horrible customer service. I would expect more from delta airlines considering all the animal deaths they've had. Truly disgusted by their "priorities". I was not the ONLY person waiting to receive something living either.

I really didn't have any trouble except for one person, at the delta counter, who seemingly didn't really want to do their job. All in all for being socked in because of Minneapolis being snowed in, the encounter wasn't bad at all.

Terrible customer service here(TSA, gate agents, restaurant). I was the only person in line for TSA and it took over 20 minutes. I had 4 different people pat me down/search my belongings. I’ve spent less time immigrating through different countries than this airport. Getting anything to eat or drink here is an ordeal too. No sense of urgency from anyone and rude throughout the process. Please fire everyone and start again.
