I came by late in the evening, after hours, to window shop the pre-owned section. Cody was still working & happened to park a car nearby. He offered assistance & we chatted a bit. He was genuinely friendly with me. I came back the next day to test drive & John Schatz helped us. He was also genuinely friendly & really listened to me. I felt my entire experience was about me getting into a vehicle that I needed, whether it was that day or another, not about their sales. (I had a trade in that I was hoping to get a certain amount for. I told Cody the amount & he was so honest he told me he’d give me the actual value of it, even after knowing my amount. He kept his word & I got $1,000 more than I was hoping for!) They were laid back, but responsive, not pushy, but helpful. I’ve owned a few cars from dealerships from California to Texas and even two different dealerships in Minot & after this, I’ll never go anywhere else. Took my truck in for a howling differential and another noise at start up for them to troubleshoot. Chaeck in was easy and eexplained what I needed accompplished and looked at. First issue was they called me verifythat they indeed hear the differential making noice and that they make sure there was no metal in the gear oil. I had asked if they pulled the cover to look at the wear pattern on the ring and pinion and they said no, but wanted to talk about the noise ay start up. To which I replied, if you cant duplicate it dont worry about, but are you goi g to remove the differential cover and inspect the gears? No answer except we would like to keep it over night if possible. Sure... Get a call this morning to come and have them start it with me to verify the noise at start up. Ok, on my way...stood there for about 45 minutes before the shop foreman showed up to go throught starting it. No noise, again I said dont worry about it but what about the rear end? He replys I don't know as I have 140 cars a day in here and cant know everything about yours. (Ok...kinda rude, but I get it. But how about saying I'm not sure let me check) So we go back to the service counter only to find out they NEVER pulled the cover for an inspection and that I have to come back again for that to happen, then a third if, and only if they find something wrong! Seriously! Apparently my time is not of any concern of yours. I also had the oil changed and the tires rotated and they f'ed that up too. Rotated the tires and never adjust the air pressure from front to back. How do you accomplish that when the TPMS went off as soon as I started the truck. Back in I go to inform them of this issue. 31 minutes later I finally get the air pressure adjusted, and its STILL WRONG! Screw it I'm leaving as I'm leaving I scroll through my engine oil life monitor and that was not reset. Really even the simplest of tasks your techs can't do correctly. For gods sake! Even the simplest tasks cant be performed correctly. I left this dealership 15 years ago due to piss poor service and figured I'd give you another shot... well that bit me in the butt again. So to summarize, you all had my truck for two days, never looked at one of the issues correctly and botched two very common tasks that are perfromed daily, and not to mention, Mr. Newberry who obviously could tell that I was NOT happy never once offered an apology. Although, another service manger, niticed that I was upset did say she was sorry. An employee should NEVER have to make an apology for a coworker. Completely unacceptable and not to mention a complete waste of MY TIME! If you would like to discuss this you have my information on record and can call me as I should/WILL NOT have to reach out to you for the complete incompetence of your service department to get a warranty issue looked at.

I told him that price was a huge factor in my decision and not once did he ever try to push a more expensive vehicle on me and I appreciate that above all else. I live about an hour away from town and the car i wanted wasn’t available that day so he met me half way between and offered to drive it all the way. He really went above and beyond. I knew I would be charged sales tax, license and title fees, but the ADDITIONAL $140 fee seemed excessive, since it is of minimal benefit to me ..... just EXTRA PROFIT for the dealership.

My first time financing a vehicle! I went through the clearance center and purchased a 2011 GMC Terrain SLT. It’s a clearance center so you can’t really expect much. The gentlemen that helped me was really polite and not your typical pushy salesman. I had already had a loan set up through my bank so the whole process was really smooth. The only reason why I didn’t give 5-stars is because I feel like the staff should be a little more knowledgeable about the known issues with the vehicles. That’s the biggest risk you take buying used vehicles. None of the vehicles on the clearance lot are mechanically inspected. No big deal, just would like to know a little more about what I’m getting into. Overall, my first time car buying experience was successful and went smoothly. I would recommend this place to people looking to further establish their credit while getting something worth their dollar.

This is probably the best shop I've ever had to take any vehicle to. There were some hiccups on my warranty because of the company it was through so I ended up having to wait 8 hours before my car could be worked on but even then it was still a great experience. They were patient with my warranty and made sure to get it cleared so they could get my car done that day. I stayed in the lobby the whole time because my husband had to work and they were nothing but nice and several of the salesmen and mechanics checked up on me some even sat down to talk a bit. I am just now having another issue with my car and just called to get an opinion and they are not like other shops that just want you to bring the car in so they can get paid. They let me know what it could possibly be and some of the things I thought it could be they assured me they weren't because they were able to tell me the software update record on my car over the phone. They dont force you to come it at every little thing and I genuinely love that. Brings the love for cars back by encouraging you to run diagnostics at home if you are able. I'm beyond happy with my experience here so far.

The technicians here don't know anything. I took my vehicle in for recall work and they tried telling me my vehicle was 2 quarts low on oil. I told them I had just changed the oil and NOT to overfill it. I got there to pick it up and it was 2 quarts overfull.

I started by needing a seat belt retractor replaced. When I showed up for the time and day they scheduled, I wasn't on the schedule, so it took another day to fix it. When I picked it up to take home, the rear door close button didn't work, which was fine before I took it in. Scheduled another appointment to get that fixed correctly! They fixed that, then when I got home the key fob wasn't working like it did previously, so scheduled another appointment. This time they found when they were working on the seatbelt retractor or the close button they had broken the receiver for the fob. So on to scheduling another appointment, brought it back and they replaced the receiver, but the key fob is still not working. They said I needed to schedule another appointment with their electrical specialist to find the problem. So brought it in the day and time they specifically scheduled their specialist for and low and behold I was not on the schedule and by the end of that day no work had been done. I guess I am a glutton for punishment and am going to reschedule again. If they had not done the original work I would have been done with them. I will never do any business with this company for as long as I live here, which I hate to say, because I try to support local businesses, but it is amazing how they have such an unorganized and poorly run service department.

When we bought our car from their smaller branc; cartiva clearance, we called to let dealer know we were on our way with form of payment and when we pulled up we saw the dealer in car with food pulling up and then when we were going to do paper work the dealer was texting and sending messages to wife as I saw them constantly popping up o computer screen he was using.

EDIT: (From 17 June 19) The dealership contacted us 2 days after this occurred and offered us $18,200 for our trade in, which we felt was enough to justify going back. The staff openly apologized that they had instituted a policy that they did not know 100%, particularly Ron from sales (my apologies, can't remember his last name). Long story short, we left very happy and with a new 4Runner. Can't give 5 stars due to them not knowing the policy to start, but I can up it from 2 to 4 for them fixing themselves and sticking to their word to the best of their ability. We will be back for maintenance, absolutely. On 15 June 2019, my wife and I went here for a new 4Runner and left pretty disappointed. First things first, I want to say that our salesman, Jesse Baker, did fantastic in regards to trying to get us taken care of in any way he could. Our review is not based on his service because he was great. My issue came with our trade-in. We were trading a 2017 Subaru Crosstrek and they kept saying they'll beat the KBB cash value. We put our Subaru through it's paces and KBB valued it at $18,350. However, when it came time to crunch numbers, they wouldn't offer more than $16,500. Why advertise something so fervently when you are unwilling to follow through with it? You take pride in partnering with KBB but when it benefits the customer and not you, it isn't honored. Needless to say, we did not purchase the 4Runner. It will be very difficult for us to justify going back.

Bought my Jeep here. Sales department was fine for the most part. The service department is the reason for the poor review. God help you if you need something fixed. It took multiple DAYS to have a single tire replaced. It took me coming in multiple times asking about it to have it fixed. To the point I came in on I believe day 3 or so to see my wheel leaning against one of the service desks, cracked tire still on it. Then when I explained it must be a defect in the tire (cracked open with no puncture with less than half of the rated mileage life used), I was told the tire would be sent to the manufacturer for review and I should come back and check in about 5 days or so for the results. When I came back, I was told the tire was never sent to the company and that the technician disposed of it! In order to soothe an irate customer, management offered me a $100 card (to be used towards service, of course). I accepted and lo and behold, the card never showed up. I was called once about it and after providing my address an additional time, still no gift card. Add in the horrible, long past estimated wait times for repairs or routine services and it's a mess. I'm glad I switched to Tires Plus for my time in Minot and now that I've moved, have better options to have my Jeep and Ram serviced.
