He found the vehicle I was looking for, took pictures of the exterior and interior, and sent them directly to my phone. He also helped us get the best deal possible by finding rebates that were available which we didn’t know about. Once the vehicle was in his possession he had Jodie drive it to my house-which was very convenient for me. She was awesome! She went through many of the options familiarizing me with my new vehicle. We also went for a test drive so she could show me some of the newest features-which was nice to learn with someone who knew how it all worked. She was very friendly and told me to give her a shout if I had any questions that may come up. I will definitely do business with them again.

My salesmen Ryan did a great job finding me a good deal. I had been looking for about a year and hadn’t quite found something in my budget and what I wanted. Monday I reached out to him and within hours I had prices and a trade in value. Yesterday I drove home a 2018 Ford Escape and I’m pretty happy with it so far. The only thing that was a little much was when in the finance office the finance officer Dave wouldn’t take no for their protection plans. After telling him 6 times that I did not want it and stating multiple reasons, he finally moved on. I did not appreciate him talking around me coming up with several different scenarios for over an hour persuading me to buy it. I recommend working with Ryan! He’s super helpful and will get you what you want.

The sales team was excellent, but soon after purchase I started noticing a sound that was like a "thunk" when I accelerated from a dead stop and when I decelerated right before coming to a complete stop. It was amplified in 4 wheel drive. While the vehicle was under factory warranty I decided to bring it in so they could put it up on the rack and get a better look. They informed me that everything was fine. Now I am 30 hours and 2000 miles away from the dealership and the factory warranty has expired. Thank God I purchased an extended warranty.

I had a horrible experience with the quick lube Dept at Marketplace motors on June 3, 2016. I had my oil changed and the car inspected. They said that I needed to have my battery changes as it was only at half charge. I did so but took the old battery with me so that I could have it tested and make sure that they were being truthful! I found out the next day that they were not and the battery was working at full capacity. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau of Minn and ND and sent a copy of the correspondence to the ND Attorney Generals office. I feel that I was completely taken advantage of at their place of business. I feel that the level of integrity at this dealership is much to be desired!!! I spoke with the service manage and got a less than adequate response on June 4th, when I called about the battery! I sent letters this past week and relieved a call from the VP of the business. He apologized for the situation and plans to send a refund. Not sure how much but am still very disappointed in the situation!!!!!

This is the second time now over the past couple years that I've driven to Devil's Lake to buy from a Bergstrom dealer (once Lake Toyota and now Marketplace Ford). Both times I was shopping around and had far less than customer friendly experiences at a couple of the big Grand Forks dealers. Marketplace treated us like an old friend of the family and not like a sales number. Even the sales manager was out of his office hanging out with us having friendly conversation while we waited. We worked with Travis on purchasing a new F-150 who was very professional and friendly, as well as the entire team down there. They offered a reasonable trade-in on my previous vehicle that we were happy with and even stayed late after closing on a Saturday to finish up the paperwork without seeming irritated or anything. This family of dealers are the only ones we've ever been to that treat you like a person and not like a sale quota. They don't pressure you into anything you don't want and they don't follow you around while you're shopping. Seriously, if you live in the area, make the drive to Devil's Lake to see these folks, I highly doubt you'll be anything less than impressed.

My wife stopped for oil change at Market Place Quick Lube and Express, the attendant mentioned it would be a 1 1/2 hours before getting to her vehicle. After 3 1/2 hours later they finally were able to get the oil changed. Not sure if Quick should be listed in their title, nothing quick about the service provided at this location. After my wife arrived at home, I open doors of vehicle to notice they didn't even vacuum the vehicle. For an oil change that took 2 hours and not even vacuuming the front out, all for little less than $68.00. Neither my wife or myself will ever stop back at this establishment. Ridiculous experience.

My wife went in there with her young cousin to help her buy a pickup. The sales manager told her the transmission was going out of her trade-in vehicle and offered her $500. It was a 2012 Ford Escape in very nice condition and the transmission is not going out. They were trying to take advantage of them because they figured they could fool two women. Not a good way to do business. Also I noticed some of the positive reviews on here are posted by employees or former employees.

I was pulling into town, coming west from Minneapolis when my car took its last breath in Devil's Lake. The guys in service and sales at MP Ford made this horrible situation turn out for the better in the end. They were conveniently still open when I came in at friday around 5:30. Terry in service was very kind and understanding to my cussing over the phone at hearing the bad news about my car. He did everything he could, but he had to hand me over to sales so I could get a car to drive home. Steve, Dan, Dave, and Devon were all very friendly and helpful. The helped me find an excellent car with not a ton of used choices on the lot in my price range. (it's hard to find a fuel efficient tiny car in North Dakota...everyone buys and sells big snow loving vehicles!) but the 16 ford focus I drove away with grew on me so fast. My husband & I just bought a newer used pick-up on Oct 30th. We had been looking for a specific type for our ranch. When we saw it on Carfax, we called very early in the morning. We spoke to the young man Devon. Within a few hours over the phone, we were approved for financing by Steve's efforts. We have never financed a vehicle, always paying cash. This time we wanted to finance. It was AMAZINGLY easy, with a call back in a phone interview and cell app questionnaire. I've never done anything like this and it was so easy. They met us in Bismarck same day! Everything they said about the vehicle was true. We test drove it, then bought it right there on the spot at the meeting place. They had all the contracts ready to sign, everything explained, no surprises, and also had our copies of the documents ready to give us. We were asked to provide a color copy our both of our driver's licenses and a copy of our insurance card. We were also asked to text a photo to the salesman of both of our licenses so he knew we were who we said we were. I have never been so satisfied and amazed in the vehicle buying experience! I am sure the vehicle has no issues. But we were given a dealership 3 month, or 3K miles (whichever comes first) 'lemon' warranty, just in case. And it covers quite a bit besides mechanical basics. We are very pleased with this dealership's efficiency and quickness to sell us a vehicle. Still cannot believe it was so fast and easy! UPDATE: Still satisfied with our vehicle and service. There was a recall for something, but that's not their issue. They provide you with four free oil changes but we live too far away to take advantage of them.

We purchased a used Lincoln MKX for our kids to drive. I know this sounds like a pretty luxurious vehicle for kids, but it is about the same as the Ford Edge. I figured somebody that had a Lincoln would probably take better care of it than a run of the mill vehicle. Dave, our salesman, was excellent to work with!!! I think he would have brushed off the snow and warmed up every vehicle on the lot that very cold day we decided to shop for a vehicle! We thought about it for a couple of days and made the deal with them, and yes they do deliver!! Later we were notified that the MKX had an air bag recall. Ford/Lincoln does not want anybody driving these vehicles and have offered a vehicle to use until the parts are available to fix the recall. Here again we were treated with professionalism by the service department and and the rental division. They got us into a Lincoln MKZ! I guess its a Lincoln for a Lincoln and a Ford for a Ford thing. A Ford would have been sufficient. The only issue with the rental is that no one under the age of 21 can drive it, so we had to do some vehicle swapping within the family. We have Ford/Lincoln dealers closer to us but with the excellent service we have had here it would be hard to go any place else. Thanks

Not impressed. I feel the only reason they taIked to me at all was they were trying to meet their month end quota. I identified missing parts and contacted the sales man he said he would look into it. But never replied. I re contacted him and he told me "thanks for reminding him" . a month had passed, I showed up at the store. Let the salesman know I was in route. He was not there so i Spoke to a different salesman who tried to follow up and told me he would run a resolution by the manager. Another week has passed. Still no contact.

I don’t normally leave reviews but this case was worthy because of so many things that could have gone wrong but instead went flawlessly because of the people I worked with (sales and finance), namely Keith (sales) was key and his constant communication with me through the process gave me the trust I needed to make the trip. I traveled just under 1,000 miles round trip; if anything wasn’t as advertised or any paperwork was not ready to go; the experience would have been awful. I got the pickup I absolutely love at the best price with quality additions installed correctly and I am very particular. I was looking for a car that I thought i would never find. I remember my father having mercury cars since 1956. I just sold my buick 2003 to a friend and was looking at a lincoln. It was sold before I got to the dealers. So I went on a search and there it was a 2010 mercury marquis. the dealership was great . even though it was probably one of the cheapest cars on the lot . they treated me like I was buying a new one. will consider them when I am looking for a vehicle in the future.thanks dennis
