Last Wednesday I purchased a 2016 F150 4x4 Sport. I've always driven F150s and love them. When I saw this new truck I knew I wanted it. I went inside and started talking with Sean one of the salesman. He was fantastic. He didn't pressure me or even try to talk me into buying. After taking the new truck for a test drive, I came back inside and told Sean I had to have it! I picked it up the next day and it was all ready to hit the road and it looked beautiful. It just happens that my wife and I were going on a road trip that weekend. We put some nice miles on it and it drove like a dream! Good thing we had a lot of time while driving. It gave my wife plenty of time to read the manual and figure out what all of the Buttons were for! From a long time Ford F150 owner, I'm telling you. You should check out the new trucks. There awesome and so we're all the people at the Portsmouth Ford dealership...... They will get my business again, that's for sure. Thanks guys!!!!!!! Kevin R.

I was happy with the buying experience, nice they have no delivery and licensing fees, however, we were told they were going to give us a new battery and fill the tires (we bought a 2017 with a dead battery on the lot) and the car wouldn't start the next morning. Tires were also never filled to full! Had to go back the next day and they were quick to fix the problem but I don't trust their service department at all!

Just left the dealership. Originally my daughter went in looking at the ford edge. Test drove it, loved it. Robert was the salesman dealing with us. Had him go in to pull numbers. Had to keep at a payment as my daughter is a full time nursing student. Those numbers didn't work for her. So she test drive a fusion, still not in her price range, but he was trying to show price with year was better but still, couldn't pull the #s she truly needed. So we went in got his card and let him know that my daughter and husband would bicker it out and let him know. Here lies the issue: That's when he got a little aggravated, then we leave, realize we don't have the registration, so I called him up and let him know. His response, I gave it to her, what benefit would it to be for me to keep it? I said it won't but still need it.. offers for us to come back, we go look around, nothing! He looks around and says you are welcome to look but I have never lost a registration before! Story short after him insisting not only to myself, walking out to my daughter and telling he he gave it to her and to his coworkers...he still repeated, several times how it wouldnt benefit him.. NO KIDDING ROBERT! Well guess where it was? Wrinkled up in his trash!! Thanks for the apology, after trying to make me look like a moron! Never again..

Very unpleasant experience. I heard there was a change in ownership a few years ago. Seems like things have went down hill since then. After asking for an accommodation that the other dealerships were willing to make but I was denied at port ford, I asked to speak to the manager and was told "He was busy eating Chinese food." There is a good reason they have high employee turnover here. I never see the same people there. I have moved the service of my vehicles and all future purchases to Rochester Ford.

What an amazing experience purchasing a used car here. I was able to purchase the car at 1 PM on a Saturday, and by 5 PM I drove out with my dream car. The whole car was completely cleaned and detailed including the whole engine compartment, and the car only had 17,000 miles on it. I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant car buying experience.

I have had my 2011 F-150 serviced at this dealership since new. I have never encountered any issues with service. Everything has been taken care swiftly and completely. Last summer I purchased new Michelin tires and had a problem, the new tires would not balance. The tires were replaced with another set, that set also would not balance, my service rep checked the codes on the bad tires and found all were from the same batch manufactured on the same day. Service rep called around for a third set, seeking tires from a different batch. New tires came in, were installed and to this day are fine. Many customers would write this up as a horrible experience, however, I think what if I purchased these tires from a local tire shop? My guess is that I would still be fighting with them. Best Service Around Also purchase my truck at this dealership and got a great deal.

Our initial contact was Mike MacDonald and he was very helpful on the phone considering we live in CT. We drove to NH and looked at the 2017 F350 dual wheel King Ranch that we had seen on line. On arrival Yasser Elaziz went through some paperwork and provided an information session with us. He was knowledgeable and courteous. Yasser directed us to Jon Ackerson who provided financial information. He also was as professional and courteous as Yasser. Due to our personal schedule and not theirs, we picked up our new truck the next week which took less than an hour and headed back to CT. I do not recommend anyone purchase a vehicle from this dealership. My girlfriend and her Mom who is disabled was completely taken advantage of and pushed into purchasing a vehicle that has had nothing but issues. Shortly after purchase the service now light came on and brought it back found out there was NO OIL at all. How can you sell a car without oil in it?? A month later brake light came on and yet another trip showed the brakes were basically gone and they also were concerned about how the car was running and the service person told them that’s how the car should sound and nothing was wrong. Apparently they were wrong,!! Just had issue with all the warning lights coming on and saying to shut car off immediately while visiting for holiday in MA took car to local shop who stated there is a serious issue with the engine and basically needs to be replaced and were sold a vehicle that had existing engine issues. Her Mom used life savings and paid $14000 for a car that is now in need of a new engine!! They’ve had the car for less than 1 year and do not have money to fix it or purchase another vehicle. It’s a disgrace!!!

Because they were so busy we were fortunate to meet two very nice salesmen. Our experience was more about the car and not the people who did the paperwork. They left us alone to make our decision and were very quick with the paperwork. They even cleaned up the car and made it ready to go. From the time we stepped on the lot until we drove away was a short period of time and the overall experience was simple and stress-free. I am totally in LOVE with my new red 2013 Ford Focus. The car sold itself and the salesmen knew this and did not interfere. My husband also bought his 2010 Ford F-150 at Portsmouth Ford and we both have used their service department. We like this dealership and plan on doing business with them in the future.

I call Sunday and was told I have a appointment with Bryan on Monday at 1pm the truck would be pulled out front for me to review at one I got there on time 40 mile drive from Maine my attention that day was to by your truck stock number P81856 he was with another customer . I waited for about 5 minutes and Bryan then asked him how long this was going to look at the truck . He then passed me and said he was going to get the truck for me but came back with the other customers car for them to review . He then left for about 15 minutes and said he had found the truck but the battery was dead . At that time I had enough and left . Number one why didn't he have another salesman help me and I drove a total of 80 miles to get that type of service I own my on business and that would never happen with me . The excuse was everyone was cleaning off cars whats better cleaning off cars or serving your customers and selling a truck .

So far I've left 7 messages in 3 weeks to cancel an extended service contract because I traded the car in. Not one phone call back from the GM down to the business manager. I had to call Ford direct to process the cancellation. Beyond disappointed. They'll call you right back before the sale, but don't expect much afterwards.

I hate bringing my car into the shop - let's face it, waiting is not fun. However Portsmouth Ford has coffee, snacks, cold water, and popcorn. They have a van to bring you places while you wait. I have Easy Care and asked for a rental car overnight. At first the answer was the visit was not qualified. Well apparently they were busy so I got my free rental - a black Dodge Charger - and yes you can rent right on site. Anyhow all the folks at Portsmouth Ford are super friendly. It's a 30 minute drive for me so I still drag my feet to go there - but at least I have many options while there. Check it out!

My F150 Lariat decided that at 50,000 miles, that it wanted to part ways with the torque converter. The service department went beyond the expected level of just satisfactory. I was pleasantly surprised with how they managed to find a way to keep the financial hit as minimal as possible. It restores my faith in customer service. I had my eye on a 2017 Ford Fiesta SE Hatchback for over a month at the Portsmouth Ford Used Car Center. I was easily able to see the CARFAX & details on the website.I knew what I was looking for but also took a look around at other options as backup. I had inquired online if it was still available & one day finally went to look in person with my father. Correy came out & greeted my father & I after a few minutes of us poking around. I felt bad for him at first because it was blazing hot & he was in dark pants & a dark long-sleeve shirt, but he was dressed very professionally. He greeted us with a smile & firm handshake. We got to talking about what I was looking for & so on. After considering a few options, he ended up confirming that the Fiesta I wanted was going to be the best deal for me after explaining that it was a "CPO" (Certified Pre-Owned) & took the time to explain the benefits of that. To me. that sealed the deal & I was ready to see how it drove. I felt confident that this was the car & Correy brought it around out front for my father & I to take for a test drive. No pressure, no pushy sales jargon or anything uncomfortable about Correy. It was like talking to a friend; he & my father were conversing like they knew each other for a long time. It was a very pleasant experience. Once my father & I got back from the test drive, I was ready to do the paperwork. We sat at Correy's very tidy desk & started the process. He explained everything to me & turned his computer screen so that I could see everything that he was doing. Again, I mention how comfortable the whole process was. I take a lot of advice from my father & he was at ease, so I was as well. Everything was going very well & I was waiting for the rate & such to come back. Ben came over & introduced himself; it was nice to have a salesperson & a financial person to explain everything. Ben was very patient in explaining the financial end of things & we negotiated a Premium Extended Warranty. I had to take a moment to think about it, just from a financial standpoint on my end, but I realized that it would be a great benefit for me to go with it. He was not pushy, either & he had actual facts to back up what he was telling me. I easily did my down payment using my debit card & signed all the paperwork that was explained to me in full detail. I felt very secure & knew I could ask even the simplest of questions if I didn't understand something.I was very comfortable with Ben, as well. After getting most of the paperwork out of the way (which was not that bad at all) I told Ben & Correy that I would be back the following week to pick up the car. They had it ready to go when I picked it up last evening & Correy took the time to give me a brief rundown of the car (though I had a Fiesta previously & not much changed) but he helped me with setting up my phone to the car & showed me the features involved. The only thing they had forgotten to do was fill up the gas tank, but they said they would fill it at my next oil change, which works for me. Overall, I am very pleased with my experience. I look forward to having my car serviced at the Quick Lane service center & continue to do business with them. I would highly recommend Portsmouth Ford Used Car Center!

Just purchased a new F-150 Lariat crew cab here last week. Extremely happy with the purchase, value I got for my trade-in, and the very professional and courteous staff. This was by far the smoothest sales process I have ever been through when purchasing a vehicle from any dealership, and my expectations were exceeded on all fronts. I bought a spray-in bed liner in addition to vehicle, and that was turned around inside of 24 hours so that I could drive away with the truck the following day. I would highly recommend checking out Portsmouth Ford Lincoln if you're in the market for a new vehicle. They are very up front about the entire sales process, leaving no room for doubt or disappointment.

Every time I have gone to Portsmouth Ford it’s been a more than positive experience. You walk in and someone helps you right away. Most recently I worked with Michael Shannon, who was so great and I really appreciated how he told me right up front what my options were and made the whole process really painless. At most dealerships, when you go in alone (especially as a female) it can feel like you need to be really on your toes because people don’t take you seriously or think they can take advantage of you with the right sales techniques. Not at Portsmouth Ford. This is my second time buying from them and I’d do it again. Highly recommend this - all car buying experiences should be like this. I went into Portsmouth Ford and met this really nice gentleman named Correy Estano. He was very pleasant and very knowledgeable about the car I wanted. I took a test drive and decided I really wanted this car. He made the paperwork go very smoothly. That next day I noticed that I couldn't get my front plate on because there was no bracket. Correy took care of that immediately. The staff of Portsmouth Ford are an amazing group of people, but Correy was very unique in that he was there no matter what. This dealership is among the worst I have visited. They have very rude car salesman that fabricate stories about other transactions. (very dishonest and shady). I was verbally assaulted by the manager when I tried to speak with him about what had happened. He swore at me and said they did nothing wrong. The whole situation was handled very inappropriately! 8/9 I was contacted 2 days after posting this review. Thankfully the transmission wasn't acting up, they explained that the new transmission works differently than my old Fiesta. I was given a loaner car for the duration of the work, which was one day, and got my car back as I left it with them. They should invest in new rags or a different soap, because when I bought the car it had streaks on every window, the loaner had streaks on every window, and my car had streaks again when I got it back. Not really a big deal, but just be aware that you may or may not need to clean your windows after work is done on your vehicle. 8/4 I scheduled an appointment with them a week in advance. When I showed up, they changed it to the day before without telling me. The work being done would take AT LEAST 4 hours, and they said they couldn't give me a loaner car. I bought the car being worked on from them. I've gotten loaners from dealers I didn't buy my car from for work that would take 1 hour. I understand that one of the issues couldn't be done today, but that's why I planned on leaving the car until it could be done. I can't get a loaner until the work could be done, so I'd be stuck without a car for 3+ days which is rediculous. At least the waiting room is nice, which makes sense because you'll be in it for a long time while you're stuck there.

Portsmouth Ford keeps sending emails to review my recent truck purchase, or to call if not completely satisfied. I have called, but they don't return any calls, and they don’t care…so as requested, here is my review. The minute I signed the sales agreement, the roles reversed, and they suddenly became the customer, and I became the service provider. Like they were doing me a big favor to let me spend 45k$ there. For the several trips my family and I had to take to get a cracked windshield fixed, (btw - cracked when I took delivery), NEVER once did they apologize for the significant effort, cost and inconvenience they caused us. After all, they were the customer at that point. It got so bad that when the windshield cracked all the way across in just a day or 2, they refused to send a glass guy to my house to replace the windshield. Instead, they insisted I endanger my family and drive 40 miles to Portsmouth instead. I've bought 4 new cars and 1 used car at Portsmouth Ford over the last 20 years and have had mostly good experiences. My thinking was Portsmouth Ford would treat us as valued customers. The opposite happened. The Sales guy was fine, it’s poor management that made the experience so distasteful. They have simply lost their understanding of the supplier-customer relationship. There's much more to the story, but I'll stop there. They could have done something (and I gave them the chance) to make the purchase and follow up less painful and maybe temper my written review, but they chose to not even return my calls. I would not purchase a car from any other dealer. I purchased a 2003 ford Escape in 2003. It had 298,000 miles on it when it died on me last week. I had never owned a car for that long before. I was on my way to back to Portsmouth Ford last week when I heard an advertisement on the radio for another dealership, so I decided to stop by and give them a look. I was honest with them when I went into the dealership about my loyalty to Portsmouth Ford. I spent about an hour with them. I left and headed to Portsmouth, within about an hour and a half I had my new 2014 Ford Escape. There are on gimmicks, hidden fees or other "crap"....just straight forward people. I will always buy from them and send anyone that I know to them.

My first time here for a recall on my Ford Explorer for what I was told was a 90 minute service. I dropped the car off at 10am and after eating lunch with my family came back to get the SUV. Finally the car was ready for me to take home at 3pm. I was not updated on the progress until I asked. The service was poor and I will not be eager to return. Comparatively autofair in Manchester has better service.

I purchased a leftover 2015 Ford Super Duty diesel truck from Chris Sawyer at Portsmouth Ford. The experience was pretty much uneventful, they were the lowest price without any dealing, no Doc. or hidden fees period. I have never experienced anything like this before ! Service is even less of an issue. They have it set up so the wait is almost nonexistent, and even open Saturdays with a quick lane express. Great waiting area with food and drinks. Highly recommend this place.

After a less than satisfying first experience with Portsmouth Ford I left a negative review and was contacted by the VP of the dealership. He apologized and assured me that was not how they normally operate then asked for a second chance to make a deal. I agreed and came back down from Maine. My second experience was night and day better. I was able to speak to one of the owners as soon as I walked in and was given the choice of who I could work with. I was treated very well by the entire staff. The finance department was able to get the exact payments I was looking for and I was extremely pleased with the entire process. My experience as a prospective customer was poor. I should have expected so, from the beginning, as the three (3) managers I encountered throughout my attempt to purchase a car from them exuded an air of arrogance and an uncaring attitude. To make a very long (I tried to purchase a car from them over a two, yes 2, week period) story short - it is my belief that there is dishonesty, and possibly discrimination, happening on the sales floor of this dealership. I had to call the F&I Manager multiple times to ask for an update on my financing - even after asking if he or someone could/would please stay in contact. There are three (3) conversations that I wouldn't believe if someone else was telling the story - but it happened to me. 1) The F&I Manager insinuated that I was lying about my employment/salary 2) I was told that if I didn't include GAP Insurance and an extended warranty (not needed as the car was supposedly a Certified Pre-Owned) on top of the full asking price of the car that they would not sell me the vehicle because "the deal wasn't worth it to them without the add-ons" 3) I called on a Saturday (after attempting to get an update/movement each day during the week) and, even after acknowledging that I was aware the weekends are busy, was told "I will have to call you on Monday. I won't do anything for you when there are 10 real deals happening on the sales floor right now" - even after that I did not receive a call (no real surprise here) on the following Monday (or any other day after). I found out, through another dealer (where I did make a purchase), that Portsmouth Ford Lincoln was not truthful about the financing options they presented to me. Despite what I went through at this dealership I was still successful in my car search and purchase. I was about to find the same vehicle (just put in inventory), single-owner, in better condition, with 15K less miles, and equipped with more features (AWD and Premium Package) and with an asking price of $4K more at another dealer who got me financed through one of the same lenders mentioned by Portsmouth Lincoln Ford at a much lower interest rate (~5% less) and monthly payment. The vehicle I attempted to purchase at Portsmouth Ford Lincoln has been (and still remains at the time of this writing) in inventory for over 90 days. It has a broken louver vent (which they refused to repair) and a couple other small issues - yet it was still being sold as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. One of the other cars marked as CPO even had a large (3+ inches) tear on the passenger seat and exterior paint damage in 3-4 places. I not sure Lincoln HQ would agree that either of these cars met CPO standards. In the end I came out better with another dealership than I would have with Portsmouth Ford Lincoln. For that, I am grateful. Although they are the closest Lincoln dealership to my home I will not be taking my new vehicle (which has only been maintained at a Lincoln dealership for the 35K miles on the odometer) to Portsmouth Ford Lincoln for service or repairs. Instead I will drive 30-50+ miles to another Lincoln dealership. They lost a customer, oh wait - I was also told "you aren't a customer until the sale is closed" (that's why I began by saying "prospective" customer) for life!

The power steering on my Fusion failed while on vacation in Portsmouth and had the vehicle brought here (nearest Ford dealer). The vehicle was undrivable and we were stuck on road for hours. I had called ahead to the service department and told them this was an emergency given we had no transportation and were stranded over 200 miles from home. Finally got to the dealer, was forced to wait while the tech filled out receipts for other customers, then was told I got the car there too late (they were still open another 1.5 hours) and they would look at it Monday. I begged them to just run the code and try a reset, but refused to even hook it up, no compassion for our situation...a complete lack of customer service. A friend comes to get us (Albany to Portsmouth and back). On Monday I hear nothing and have to call myself to find out they still hadn't looked at it. 45 minutes later they call and say they ran computer and reset code, the steering is fine and it is ready for pickup since they cannot locate the source of the problem. I then have to get a ride back out to Portsmouth to pick it up. All could have been avoided if a tech had just stayed 15 minutes late to help us. Worst experience with a car repair ever (and I've had my share in the past). Probably going to get rid of my Ford and go by a Hyundai Sonata.

We bought a 2014 Escape Titanium and did all the work via the internet with Kurt. He provided us with accurate information and responded quickly to all our questions. We went to a local dealer to see and test drive the vehicle. We received quotes from several dealers and none of them could come close to Portsmouth Fords price.There was no hassle no game playing and absolutely no pressure. When we went to pick up our car, it was all clean and ready to go when we arrived. Kurt was just as nice in person as well as every other employee we had contact with that day. Took my 2016 mustang to the dealer to address a check engine light, they wanted to charge me 450$ to change spark plugs not even gareenteeing it will fix the issue because it’s “maintnance” on a vehicle with 11 thousand miles. Taking the car to another dealer to get it fixed. About to go on a deployment in the military and this dealer was trying to screw me over before they could give me an answer to the problem. Even Fords customer service agreed with me they where trying to screw me.

Worst experience ever had with them. Customer Service staff was totally rude . Had an appointment for 9:00, check my car in, waited 2 1/2 hours till 11:30. Finally the girl came over to tell they were going to replace my water pump. Sat in waiting room, finally at four I when at Jen the girl how much longer will it take ,she said she will check and then sat down and ate her lunch. Finally after another half hour when back over and she was chatting with the mechanics, so I ask service manager if he could check. Jen yell at me and said was an all day job. I reply you never told how long. I was straving, sitting there from 8:45 to 5:05. Jen walked over to me drop my keys on my lap, gave papers and told my car was outside and walked away. Have to go out and find my car. Jen was the rudest person, I would have fired her on spot, if I was her boss. The place wasn't busy. Was going to buy a new truck there but after that service we going to rethink about getting it there. This was our third car we brought there. She just ruined our experience with Portsmouth Ford. I had to drive up from Boston. My oil light was on to change the oil but they never change it. So I have go back in two weeks . I'm not going sending husband.

DIY-friendly service department! Went there because I inadvertently got air trapped in the ABS module while bleeding the brakes after replacing the rear calipers. They could have given me a hard time about it, or even tried to blow smoke about the problem being expensive to fix, but they didn't. 45 minutes and one brake system flush later and I was on my way. Great waiting area too, the free coffee and water is appreciated.

We were "looking" for a car and went to look at Portsmouth Ford. Yasser Elaziz introduced himself to us even though he was only 20 mins away from the end of his shift. He was GREAT! He was friendly and outgoing, letting us ask all kinds of questions and showing us all kinds of cars. He was knowledgable and informative about prices and options etc. He never made us feel pressured. He worked with us until closing time that night, 4 hours later than he should have gone home to help us chose a car that is right for us. came to the dealership a couple times to check the place out wanting to buy a new car. but now i won’t consider buying a car from this dealership now seeing that i noticed a familiar salesman from the dealership came through my work with the windows up smoking not one but two cigarettes.. first he tossed the cigarette out of the window he rolled down, then rolled the window up and lit another cigarette in one of the sales vehicles with the dealership plates on the vehicle and still with the price tag on the window.. no thank you? Not a very good look on your dealership your trying to run, i don’t think anyone would appreciate the smell and stains of the cigarettes on or in the car. i looked on your website to find the salesman but i guess it’s a new one considering he wasn’t pictured, he looked short probably around my height and i’m 5’2 so around there, a little bit bigger, had black hair, wore sunglasses as well and i’ve seen him before in the dealership. Not a good look at all on your dealership, again. i will NEVER be buying a car from your dealership now. unfortunately that’s the price you pay for someone else’s ignorance and actions, i thought i would never see something like this but i guess it is what it is.

I purchased a 2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid from Portsmouth Ford just three weeks ago. So far the car is great, loving the mileage. This car the third vehicle I purchased from Portsmouth Ford, including a 1995 F150 (RIP) after 134K and a 2016 F150 that I am keeping. The new fusion is to make the truck last longer, and at 40 plus mpg, I am saving plenty on gas. I bought both the F150 and the Fusion from the same sales rep. Mike Shannon. Mike was great to deal with. Not pushy but easy going and very knowledgeable about the vehicles. When I test drove the first Fusion model and decided that I did not need some of the options he simply asked if I wanted to test drive another car, rather than try to push the first one on me. I appreciate that and his patience. As for the dealership, you will be hard pressed to find a better price or more selection anywhere else. Put that together with the finance deal that Ford offered and you just can't loose. I should also mention that when I bought the 2016 F150, I had traded my 2013 Ford Fusion hybrid and got top blue book value for it. And a great price on the truck as well. I'll probably be back in 5 years to trade in. But not the truck, Like I told Mike, "I'm getting buried in that"

THIEVES and LIARS! Came in from out of town and my truck had a code pop up on the dash. Wanted for them to check and reset a code on ECU if nothing major was wrong. 4 hours later they claimed to find metal in fuel system but did not have any sampled. Then the next day came back and they magically had a cup full of metal debris. Drove the truck almost 4 hours back home and brought it elsewhere for input...surprise, no metal in the fuel system anywhere. Gary (head manager), Travis (Service manager), and Wayne (Service writer) are all poor character people and apparently don't have customer's best interest in mind.

Friendly staff. Their no haggling policy is nice and the salesman/saleswoman don't go with you on the test drive (always a plus in my opinion). I picked up my new car on a Monday, washed and waxed the Saturday of the same week. Noticed a gash on the plastic rocker panel......went into the dealership and they ordered paint free of charge so I could touch it up. Very accommodating! See salesman Eddie Francis for a pleasant buying experience.

I showed up ready to purchase a truck. I knew the trim level I was looking for and wanted to compare a few of my top choices. Didn’t feel like I was treated like a serious customer at anytime during the process. Salesman made me feel like I was wasting his time. Took a test drive and when I got back, he completely ignored my wife and I while he took a phone call. Then he collected the keys. I told him we were going to grab dinner to talk over the options and I would call him. I called him after dinner and he said he would call me back. Never received a call back. I ended up driving the next morning to the dealership’s used car center on US1 and bought the truck from another salesman and had a completely different experience with the entire team. I can not recommend that place enough. To top it all off, they sent a form email from the sales manager asking for feedback on my experience and to see if there was anything they could do to sell me a car. I wrote back explaining that I was no longer looking because I had already purchased and gave a brief reason why I didn’t purchase from the main dealership....no response. From beginning to end just disappointing customer service.
