Payless car return was horrible. It took 50 minutes to return a car. No key drop off and only one employee to both process returns and outgoing rentals. The agent had to leave the counter to go get the keys for the outgoing cars so obviously there was no one else to help. Luckily we had plenty of time before our flight or it would have caused us to miss it. I never would have expected the car return to be the part of the journey that wasted that much time. I will never use them again.

Doing anything in Boston is not easy! if you don't need to rent a car and you're staying and boston-area do yourself a favor do not rent a car!! use public transportation, Uber, many hotels have shuttles! here you can take the blue line from the airport to downtown, hop on the tandem blue bus that circles the airport it'll take you to Blue Line and Rent-A-Car! Parking in downtown Boston and surrounding area is sparse if you find one it's expensive use Hotel shuttle Uber or the subway very easy, enjoy your stay!

As with many central car rental facilities with buses for transport, this airport does not have enough buses in circulation so all the buses are always packed and you have to wait a while for the next bus. It makes it a dicey proposition if you're running late so be sure to get to the airport with extra time.

Our own fault we left our transponder on the dash when w dropped it off BUT...one of the busiest locations at Logan and nothing was listed under lost and found????? Very hard to believe..and no personal response to my inquiry as we left it when we dropped the car off. Smh

Easy to follow signage to rental drop off as you near BOS. Once on property and until point of return, everything went well. Fast and efficient. Make certain you get on the correct shuttle back to airport. I didn't have a problem, but I have to admit it wasn't well marked to guide a traveler not familiar with the proper shuttle to take.

It took nearly 1 hour of traffic jam just to get into the rental car center. Plan extra time just to return car. 2 lanes of cars for about 1 mile leading upto the rental car center

The company was Alamo at Logan airport. We upgraded from a compact car to a standard or midsize car when we booked our vacation from our travel agent. When we got to the rental center the agent said we could upgrade to an SUV for an additional $99.00. Yet when we picked the car up moments later, another employee in charge of dispensing the cars insisted we only upgraded to a midsize sedan. She pointed to our pick of two sedans and we took one. She never came over, showed us the car, or how to operate anything, including the transponder for tolls. The transponder, mounted on the windshield, is suppose to cover the tolls. We didn't realize until AFTER the trip that you had to open the transponder to activate it. Now, we will be charged by the state for all the tolls. Unreal. I complained upon the return of the car, and another employee said, "don't worry, it happens all the time". Not hardly the point. It goes to show you, they don't care, as they are not being charged for a service they are suppose to supply. Then there are all the hidden fees on the rental contract. Oh my gosh! What is $2.00 police training fee? Pkg book schg $.60? Conv cntr fin schg $10.00, VLC Rec fee $13.80, Concession fee recovery $69.72 and then of course taxes, 43.62, for a grand total of 789.46 for 6 days rental, actually returned on the am of the 6th day. We still have all the tolls to pay when we get that bill. We have rented many cars, but not in the state of Massachusetts. Seems like a very high price to rent a car. We have never paid that before in FL. I think we will stick to our home state.

The traffic is very congested on the way to this location as it is beyond the Boston downtown. The rental car pick up and drop off is a Quick transaction here. The rental center is near to the airport.The staff are friendly and informative. The bus service is provide to the terminals frequently.

Getting the car was easy, for all of us smokers there is no smoking in the cars, they do NOT say anything at checkout and it's a 500 dollar ticket/charge will I rent from them again NO.... THAT IS LACKING CUSTOMER SERVICE.....

The car was great. I had requested booster seat for two year old when I made reservation. So on top of rounding him up and carrying and rolling three bags trying to install carseat was a bit of a problem. I was wondering why they could not do that.

Really easy to get to. Clear signs to the rental center and inside to specific rental company. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. The bathrooms were clean and we'll kept. The shuttle bus signs can be a touch confusing for a second, so just make certain you know your airline and terminal info and you'll fare well. Overall, this one one of the more pleasurable rental car experiences I've had across the country. The ride from to the terminal was quick, and I look forward to my next trip here. I never thought I'd say that as a NYer, lol.

Nice facility - generally friendly staff but not much help with luggage from drivers. You are on your own if you have a lot of luggage and no family to help. Convenient location especially now that Massport added a gas station nearby.
