The shuttle driver to take us there was excellent. It was after that the experience went South. They made you take their insurance even though I have it on my car insurance and credit card. This is because they lease not own their cars. Ok so I pay this because I am already here. When we went to drop off, nobody was there. Several people were there trying to drop off as well. If it wasn't for the guys coming in to clean the cars we would still be waiting. The workers were frustrated since "their boss never comes in on time." They weren't the best price after adding on "their insurance" which wasn't quoted. We could have missed our flight if the cleaning guys didn't help us. Hats off to the detail guys boo to management/ownership. Also they tried to charge me roadside assistance in case of mechanical failure. Wouldn't that be their responsibility??

Returned the car on 9/21/18... getting the runaround over 2 weeks later about the $200 “hold” on the credit card. It was no hold! They charged the card! Also charged me $75 for insurance when I had my own!! Not worth dealing with them!!!

Zero customer service never do rental from this company

Electrified DJ Services

I will never, ever rent from this Ace/Economy car rental again. Stood in 3 different lines for over an hour just to rent a car. When I did get a car the inside of car was dirty. Will stay with Hertz. Never again... Trying to save a few dollars but pay more with this company. Bad experience.

Very long line. Slow and painful. Plan on needing extra time

Let me start off by saying that this was one of the worst rental experiences I ever had. I was over charged forced to take insurance due to Nevada being a “scamming state” I used my debit and was severely over charged due to not having a return flight I work for a airline and flew in standby. I tried several times to book a reservation but kept being redirected to third parties. So I figured I would try my luck by going directly to economy once I arrived at the airport I had to take two shuttles to get to the rental car place when I arrived I was greeted at the desk and explained my situation at that point the agent stated that they had no cars available for the price that was provided to me online and I must book a reservation online. So even though I was a little bit worried about the website I continued and book the car online for $15 a day. I provided the agent with my confirmation number when he told me that I must wait 45 minutes because that’s how long it takes their system to update with online bookings this was a huge inconvenience as I had prior engagements. After my 45 minutes was up and I was finally able to get a car I went back-and-forth with the agent about the price due to it going from $15 a day and the total being $86 to the new total being almost $200 agent stated that he would speak to his manager to see what he can do after 10 minutes agent came back and stated that he was unable to do anything to assist, now I was super frustrated. If I knew that the rental car was going to be that much then I would’ve got it from the rental car place at the airport and avoided having to take a second shuttle. After reservation was completed I had to wait in another line to get the keys at which point the agent told that he was giving me a “free upgrade” to a Nissan Altima ! This really irked my nerves because I PAID FOR A FULL SIZE and was overcharged so I let him know he wasn’t do no favors and that I paid for it ! The rental was dirty all windows was smeared and if it was wiped with a wet towel. As a company trying to expand you should be ashamed of your company policies especially the lies on fees and the 45 minute wait time for online reservations.

Our reservation was wrong but the employee was nice but they did charged us more for the correction and then tried to get us to get a bigger car and more and more stuff. We said no to all extras. If you want a cheap car but not everything great but doable then yes you can use this service but I will not be coming back.

Jeff Carter

Waiting, Long Lines, more waiting, hidden policies, $500 deposit if you are local, to rent a nasty dirty POS. WORST RENTAL COMPANY EVER

Jackie Simon

Good service, inconvenient location far from the airport.

Casondra Parker

It did not benefit us cause they told us that they start at 4am and come to find out they don't open until 6am and out flight leave at 6am and they Lie

If I could give this business 0/5 stars, I would. Absolutely horrendous customer service. Please disregard this review if you're a fan of hidden fees and brazen scamming. We had booked an SUV through Economy a few weeks prior to our trip, printed out our confirmation email, and were left happy with this. Note that nowhere on this confirmation sheet we had printed noted any additional fees or charges, and this vehicle would be ready for our arrival. When we arrived after our flight to Vegas, we wait in a long winded line to the two open registers. It's a long wait, around 25mins to finally get to the front of the line, but with papers in hand we were sure this wouldn't take long. It was then at the counter, the young man working there presented us with a slew of hidden fees. $11/day for having two drivers, even though both had extended car insurance that was better than what they were offering. On top of this, there was a sudden $25/day insurance fee he said we needed, economy brand insurance. Boyfriends parents explained their insurance was better and they didn't need this insurance on-top of theirs. Now, this is currently an additional $252 they wanted to throw on us, on top of an already slightly above mediocre deal for an alright SUV. When explaining to the young man they had better extended car insurance than what economy was offering, he had began to interject himself very rudely, cutting the parents off when they spoke calmly to him. Boyfriend's father spoke over him when this happened, to continue his sentence, when the kid backed away from the till and decided to decline us service all together because "he was yelled at." He wiped his hands clean of it, asking us to leave while reiterating it was company policy that if he was yelled at he could refuse service. Not only had he baited my boyfriend's father into talking over him, but the couple at the counter over said we had done nothing of the sort and it wasn't fair. Now we were left standing outside the Economy center with all our luggage, no car, and we could not get our $100 deposit we placed back. The couple from the counter over apologized that Economy had done this to us, claiming they had been scammed with hidden fees as well, claiming because they had chosen to order their car online with their debit (they had no credit), there was an addition $11/day fee for using debit! What company operates like this? Outside there was a wait for cars, impatient travellers hanging around for their cars to be brought over. Not one person outside this lot was happy, they'd all been bullied into buying out on these hidden fees, and because Economy is not in the rent a car center (two shuttles away), most people are forced to accept this scam because they're tired and trapped on this lonely secluded lot, (there was a long wait for the shuttle that can take you back to the rent a car center, further isolating you from other options.) It seemed as though they were running out of cars/were too busy to bother with the rest of the customers, so they allowed their workers to bait people into breaking "rules" so they could deny service. There's a reason Economy has a long list of 1 star reviews, none of which differ from this. We ended up waiting for the shuttle back to the rent a car center, showing up with only our Economy confirmation papers, and within minutes were given a better deal for a better car. Don't shell out to this scam of a company, the rent a car center has a wider selection of companies that were a delight to work with!

First off you have to take TWO SHUTTLES to get there. Not one. That alone is not worth it for most. Second shuttle is smaller. Customer service is 1/5. Feels like juveniles behind computers telling you how the system works. Felt very shady. They lease their cars, instead of own them, so require you to provide your own proof of insurance and policy if you don’t get their full package. Felt shady again. The guy didn’t know quite how to explain it to me and had to get someone else when I said my credit card had primary coverage. Location 1/5: far away in run down building. Price 5/5: could not be beat but probably not worth the savings. Luckily nothing happened and no sneaky charges added. Car 3/5: we booked a full size and they gave us a compact/midsize Jetta because that met their class requirements. They option was a more expensive suv or Nissan Juke. No thanks. Luckily the Jetta fit our luggage. But selection wasn’t great. Plus side: shuttle driver lady was nice and shuttles were efficient.

coalminerp2000 .

Agent was rude and only tried to get more money out of me. They were that way with everyone there. Won't use them again

igor k

Worst place to rent your car. Expect the whole proses to take anywhere from 3-4 hours. Stay far away. Go anywhere but economy.

Jenee B

My experience was very pleasant. Prepare to go offsite for the rental. You'll catch the rental shuttle to the rental terminal, then you are picked up by the Ace/Economy shuttle..like the offsite location is 5-8 min away from the airport rental terminal.. Once we got to the location, we were in and out in about 20 min. The cashiers were nice and there was no long line..upon returning, the shuttle driver took us back to the airport rental terimal almost immediately..no wait..not sure where all the bad reviews come from but I think they're a good choice especially to avoid the long lines in the onsite rental terminal. The prices were cheaper as well.

Nightmare. I wish I could give 0 stars. We arrived when expected, and had to wait about an hour before we got our car. It wasnt busy. The car came with almost $300 in surprise fees and a deposit even though I paid ahead. They did not have the kind if car requested, so they gave us a "free upgrade." We left and had to return to ask a simple question because no one would answer the phone and we tried 5 different combinations on the robo call, including the one we were given that would "lead to a person." But it was a voicemail and they would call you back. The car was only unlimited in 4 states. We were driving in a state that wasnt unlimited but we were verbally told we could drive in, so I returned to have them write on my contract that I could drive in the additional state. It took 45 minutes to get someone to write, "+ Utah" on my contract. 40 miles down the road THE UNDERCARRIAGE DROPPED DOWN and was dragging on the road. I had to call my own AAA because economy doesn't offer roadside unless you pay extra. AAA wired the undercarriage up and said it would probably hold. There were other problems with the car during our trip. The AC would turn off randomly and we would have to turn the car off and on at times to get it to work again (a 2019 car). It was making a terrible sound through the second half of the trip. It took 1.5 hours to drop the car off when we finished with it. Then, they cleaned the car with the WIRED UP UNDERCARRIAGE and gave it to someone else even though I told them it was broken! Never never never never never never again. You DONT save money in the end. And you'll have to wait 3 hours during pick up and drop off. The worst customer service, the slowest service. Dont do it .

My first experience at Economy Rent-a-car with Kevin back in July went great. Kevin was very friendly and he made the car rental process very fast and smooth. However on my second visit in August, the lady with red, curly hair and glasses tried to scam my mom. She made her pay double than what she was supposed to pay and forced her pay for insurance thats not mandatory in the state of Nevada. Priceline said it would cost $160 to rent the car for one week but when we arrived at the rent a center, the lady said we have to pay over $300 because we only had one way tickets to Nevada and we would be considered local residents. We knew something was not right because rent a car centers NEVER ask for a airline ticket. So we called customer service and luckily they refunded the money back to us. Be aware of the fees that they will impose without your discretion because a lot of the people who work here are shady and will try to get every penny out of you so they can get a higher commission.

Kayla J

I was charged 590$ (200 of which is a deposit that allegedly will come back, hasn’t yet) when Priceline said it would be $210.... no added insurance, no explanation for why it cost more. Just a bunch of shady fees added. The vehicle had NO front or rear license plate. There was a small paper in the front window with some sort of 30 day permit to make this legal, but needless to say, I was a nervous wreck the whole week driving around with no plates. An invitation to be pulled over, really. Picking up the car took me 2 hours. You have to take a shuttle bus from the airport to the car rental center, then a small shuttle van to the Economy car rental place. Confusing, and there was no way I would have known this without asking an airport employee. The line at the center was long and the building not air conditioned. Positives: Return process was easy, and the shuttle van drivers were nice and informative. But overall... DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Daryl Hayes

Very slow service when trying to get your vehicle. Quick when returning. I dealt with someone at the counter that said my insurance wont cover before they even looked at it. They will try to milk you for money for their insurance, be careful.

Marco Almazan

It was to expensive they charge more than enterprise next time I going with other rental car

stefania rios

I give 1 star just because I HAVE TO in order for me to write a review This place is a JOKE worst service ever starts at the airport takes 20 minutes to get the shuttles they take you a scary place super sketchy in the middle of no where there are only 2 people working at the counter and they take forever rude people you can see people walking in the back and nobody comes to help spent over 70 min in line to get the car don’t ever get a rental form here this type of people shouldn’t be allowed to be in business

Frank Snyder

Very unfriendly customer service. Staff at the counter were very rude.

JJ

Waited 45 minutes at airport to be picked up. Shuttle time pick up could be much better. Competitor pick ran 3 times more.

Alex Dailey

If I could give these clowns a -100 I would. They are unprofessional they DO NOT HONOR the online rates they have magically fees upon arrival! They trick you into getting their insurances even if you have your own it magically doesn’t work. They take a 200-500 deposit and state if everything comes back how it left you’ll get your whole deposit back. But hit you with random fees to prevent that I will be going to the better business bureau along with corporate this place needs to be shut down !!!!!!! It’s not worth it

Allen Keilers

Do not use this place it is a rip off and you have to ride 2 different buses to get there

Sohan Yennu

One of the worst customer service. Employee doesn't have respect towards their customers. When I asked about the model of the car he sarcastically replied saying Ferrari which I felt was very rude. I would request management to give training to its employees before on-boarding. I regret for choosing your service.

Brian Cook

Ace rental car.. Offsite, long long wait

Scott Davis

Two rides from airport and did not cover tireblow with insurance

Mike Yaple

Sold me insurance... Called it a hold on my card. Individual agents are friendly scam artists. Stay away from this place.

Bruce Eanet

Long slow line at 11 pm. Took an hour to get my car with a reservation Not acceptable.

Mercedes Sanchez

They have a wonderful customer service Treatment me with respect on all my needs

Ansen Wu

If I can give an 0 I would give a 0. Echo some of the other reviews - (1) address was not correct so we wasted an hour looking for it. (2) this place closes at midnight would we’re not advertised as such so we could pick up the car and had to stay in the airport for a night. (3) when we get to the counter, were told that our car is no longer available and they have to “upgrade” us to a more expensive car but we have to pay the extra difference. (4) the rep was not helpful and rude. Warn everyone to stay away from this scam.

Natalie De Leon

I never write reviews, much less bad ones, but I feel like it’s my public duty to write this to keep people from making the mistake I did. My family and I recently rented from here and it was the worst car rental experience I’ve ever had. First off, we needed to take two shuttles from Mccaren to the rental car place. The directions to get to the shuttles and to the destination themselves were very confusing. We would have been completely lost if we didn’t ask for help. The rental place is located in a somewhat sketchy looking lot, and the rental pickup desk was located in a very small room that was PACKED with frustrated customers. Many of whom were so frustrated that they debated cutting their losses and Leaving to rent a car elsewhere. After waiting in line for two hours, the sales associate kept trying to get us to buy their insurance even though we denied it multiple times. Other than that, the associate was nice and got the job done. When we finally got the car it was dirty and gross inside. There were crumbs everywhere, it smelled like pee and smoke, and there were scratches on the car. At this point family was so frustrated that we didn’t even fight it, and just took the car. It was ridiculous. On top of all this, returning the car was a hassle. We had an early flight so we had to drop off the car at 4am during their “closed hours”. Directions on how to return car were unclear and there aren’t no shuttles at that hour. My family and I had to get an Uber from the rental facility to McCarran. Honestly, Save yourself the trouble and spend a few more dollars to rent from a more reputable place.

Kenneth Dunning

I rented a car for one day. Some confusion arose about some of the specifics of the rental, however, the folks at Economy Rent a Car handled it well and to my satisfaction. I found the staff there to be courteous and professional. (The car was great.)

J BM

It is about 10 minutes from the airport, and need to take 2 shuttles to get to their location. Super friendly staff

Victor Carpinelli

You're better off paying a bit more and renting a car from a company inside the airport. Doesn't worth the hassle and all the work and wait they put you thru. If you pre-paid, expect to pay the double if you want the car you rent as they will push insurances and other stuff on you. Plus, employees are not particularly nice or friendly, making you feel uncomfortable. Also, the car had no plates as other people mentioned, although it had more than 20k miles on it. Their office is small and depressing. Definitely the low point of the trip.

Dean Lumbert

Do not use this agency. Two shuttles required and an extra hour of time. The car was pretty new, no problem there. But they charged an additional $12 airport fee when they are miles from the airport. Bet they pocket it!

Jamie Lakko

I PRE-PAID for a standard SUV, but when I arrived they tried to pawn off a compact car on me. I refused and eventually they got me a small/compact SUV. No apology, no refund, no acknowledgement of their error. Stear clear of Economy Car Rental! They run a sham company and do not train their staff!

Karl Davis

Not what I expected when I got to counter had to upgrade and pay more deal sounded to good to be true.

Aaron Malagon

Cars are New, but they doesn't respect online prices, I reserved an economical car they didn't had one so give me the next level car a mid size at their "normal" rates and added unwanted insurance ...

D B

Had an email sent to me; someone forged my signature, so clearly no one is checking ID at this company. Bad for business, dude.

Gregg Ferrill

I have never wrote a review for any company. DO NOT USE THIS RENTAL COMPANY!!! Shuttle guys were the only bright spot. Shuttle vehicle only holds six people (1st wait). We were driven to an old warehouse. The line for checking in was almost out the door. There were only two employees at the counter (2nd wait for over 45 mins). I got to the counter. They had no vehicles to rent. Had to wait for vehicle to return (3rd wait). Got the paperwork and went outside. Our vehicle was in line to be cleaned (4th wait for 30 mins). By the time we left the facility, it was about two hours later. AGAIN, DO NOT USE ECONOMY RENTAL IN LAS VEGAS!!!

Tamra Windsor

DO NOT RENT HERE!!!! OFF SIGHT LOCATION, NEED TWO SHUTTLES TO GET THERE, WAITED OVER AN HOUR TO GET THE CAR!!!

elisa gardner

This was an awful experience and VERY frustrating! Very LONG wait in lines just to be told you were in the wrong line and would need to go to a completely different building (which, by the way, was outside the building and across a big lot, around a corner-you get the picture). It was inconvenient, especially for those of us with limitations walking, especially in the heat. When we FINALLY got our vehicle it had not been thoroughly cleaned and there was actually weed (as in pot) particles, etc. left behind by the previous occupants. Upon returning the car, the employee was less than professional and there was a big deal regarding the fuel, etc. and our contract. Do NOT use this company if you don't have to. There were many frustrated, angry customers.

Aaron Cox

This is literally the worst company I’ve ever had to deal with. First of all the car rental place is not at the airport, second they close at midnight and our flight was delayed and they would not work with us and gave us the runaround and I’m talking about the corporate office! and there was no number for the Las Vegas office on the site. When we finally did find the number for the Las Vegas office, NOBODY answered. I had to get two Uber’s. One to my hotel and then one in the morning to economy. I should of never had to pay for Uber when I had a rental car. I finally got my car at 9:30am....10 hours later then I had booked it and the manager gave me the corporate number after telling me I can’t get a refund for the unused 10 hours then I called the corporate number and they said they couldn’t do anything that I would have to go to the Las Vegas location. LITERALLY CORPORATE SAID THEY COULD NOT DO ANYTHING!!! Hello!! you are corporate that is like your job!!!! I called the corporate number 5 different times in that 10 hours and nobody would work with me and they were very rude! We finally got a car and then they told me it was a full tank and I showed the manager that is was not a full tank but 3/4 of a tank. When I drove off I looked at my paperwork and they had me in a Hyundai but gave me a kia so I had to turn around and get that fixed. All in all, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Complete trash that will not work with you and if you book with them regardless if you get the car or not they will not give refunds and they give you the runaround!

Cristal Mendez

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!! I booked through Expedia thinking I would save money. We ended up paying an extra $100 for their insurance because even though I'm listed under my insurance policy as a driver I needed to have been the main policy holder. COMPLETE BS just so they can make money. I've never had an issue renting with other companies. We could have gone to a another car rental company and gotten a better car for the same price. I now know that not all rental car companies are created equal. 0 stars!

Ashok Balasubramanian

Stay away from them. Everything bad about them. Would have given a negative star if there was an option. 1. They are very far away from the airport and they have a very small vehicle for transporting people so it will take a long time to get the car. 2. The phone number listed in Google Map goes to Ace-Rent a car and not Economy, so there is no way you can reach out to them. 3. The main issue. they were listed as the cheapest option in Expedia, we made booking for 2 cars. At the center they offered us to combine the booking for a mini van for a little extra cost and they smartly told us to call Expedia to cancel the other booking and when we called Expedia for the cancelling it got declined because Economy wouldn't allow the cancellation. So we ending paying for the mini van and also for the original booking. Feel cheated on this but still Expedia or Economy wouldn't do anything about it. The only reason they are listed cheap is to attract people into this trap.

Nirav Arora

Never had worse experience than this, they shuttle takes forever to arrive, restrictions over geographical location. Employees take forever to get job done, stay away from economy and ace rent a car service and have peace of mind.

Michael Vo

Had no complaints besides getting there takes two shuttles but I wasn't in a rush. Arrival: take shuttle to general car rental location and then economy specific shuttle (about ten min away, goes not stop really so about every 20 min) Location : Location looks like a wear house and I waited about 45 min from start to finish (3 people at the counter and about 8 people ahead of me, reasonable amount of time. After I was done there wasn't really a line, I guess I came at the busy period. Service :Kevin helped me (which he was great). Each contract you sign and designed for you- printed out(so double check the accept or decline options when you sign. It's not a yes or no spot, but instead it prints out what you tell the staff, but staff can make mistakes) got a 2018 car good contion. No complaints there. Drop off: drop off was little confusing for me but just look for the big sign and someone will come out to help you. Took me like 5 minutes to be done. It's more of the affordable car rental place which is off airport. So I would expect lines if you are going during busy periods.

Chris Hove

Ronnie G at economy/ace was awesome. Super friendly and accommodating. Thanks for the awesome hook up!

Leslie Cates Schauer

Okay so they ckise at midnight or a few minutes before and hidden behind Fox car rental. Rental cheapest, taxes lowest, and they fixed my rental after a plane delay. :)

pNathan Brewer

The rental car was great and the staff was very nice. The rental price wasn't bad. The site is not at the airport and the bus was filled to capacity both ways. Im happy for them but it is a little uncomfortable.

Claudette Hall

Alright so you wanna charge your phone in the car that took about an hour to get, congratulations you played yourself. Any cost you get ie probably not clean very unclean

Avshalom Chaver

Friendly, quick, good prices

Stormie Lee

This company was evicted from this building. I arrived to pick up my car from the airport. Only to find out they where out of business! They had no problem taking the money off of my card for a car I never got though! I have spent my ENTIRE vacation trying to rectify this and get my money back. This is the absolute WORST COMPANY I have ever seen! While at the next rental place we found, we discovered four different people who experienced the SAME problem and had to scramble to find a new car some where else. We ended up paying TRIPLE, last minute with a com pany that was actually open!!!! Now trying to get a return call has been impossible

Steve Cook

Long waits, you have to take 2 different shuttles to get to the airport. Don't use them!

Robin Perez

DO NOT USE ECONOMY! 45 MINUTES IN THE LINE, ONLY 2 PEOPLE IN FRONT OF ME. THIS HAPPENED LAST WEEK IN SAN JOSE. THOUGHT IT WAS AN ISOLATED INCIDENT. YOU HAVE TO TAKE 2 SHUTTLES TO GET TO RENTAL CAR FACILITY IN LAS VEGAS. PAY TJE ECTRA 10 BUCKS FOR A BETTER EXPERIENCE!

Rosie W

This company discriminates against Las Vegas residents. If you are a local and want to rent a car, have all your paperwork on hand. They don't tell you on the website, but they require your car insurance declaration and two utility bills every time you want to rent. Tourists are not required to do this. They want to discourage local residents from using this service. They told us that people are using the cars as Uber/Lyft services. This gives them the right to discriminate and treat residents as common criminals. Better to spend your money on a company that values you as a customer and not insult you. This is the America we live in now.

Jimmy Kanaan

Charged twice for same thing, staff and location are terrible. Never again

Jennifer Aube

I was very disappointed in how far this rental place was from the airport. But was greeted by Eddie who was amazing. Quite the pleasure to deal with. This made the beginning of my trip awesome

Danielle Willis

The worst experience ever!!! Never book here they are slow unhelpful and dont communicate. We waited 30min to get to the counter with only 2 people in front of us then walked out and had to wait at another counter for an additional 30min with 8 people in front of us and finally called a Lyft.

Dom Tanglao

Took almost an hour for a shuttle. Disorganized and poor customer service. The name says it all...

veronica vazquez

THE WORSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thieves!!!!!!!! I am a local but I rent so the utility bill is not under my name. I prepaid a car, showed up to pick it up with a bank statement, pay stub, car payment stub they would not rent the car to me. No refund not nothing!!! I am beside myself that a company can rob you like this. STAY AWAY!!!

Lois Thoreson

Friendly staff but two shuttles from airport

Joel Richards

Worst service in the history . Should have know. Better too try too save a few bucks and go somewhere cheaper biggest mistake ! Horrible staff having 20 minute conversations about smoking weed when there’s a 30 minute line out the door ! Never again

Hani Yaqo

My experience was similar to everyone else's - just terrible. It's amazing to me how a firm with this many 1-star ratings can stay in business. Ended up cancelling with Economy and going with Enterprise.

Nichole Smith

Horrible experience start to finish. Waited in line for 45 mins, the lady tried to charge me $161 (my actual cost was $49), and my car was on empty. The contract they have me said it was full and to bring it back on full. Then the new car had no license plate. Took 1.5 hours start to finish.

Christen Pollo

DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM HERE! We arrived around 10:30pm to pick up our SUV. They attempted to double our price after we had already paid in full. First, because they wanted us to use a credit card (not debit). Then, when we worked that out, they kept finding issue after issue with our insurance. I swear they were making stuff up on the spot. While we are trying to call Progressive and get our policy changed to their liking, Economy starts telling us that they close at midnight and we are out of time - we'll just have to pay double. Progressive's rep told us, "I have never in my career with Progressive had a rental car company ask for all this." She couldn't make sense of it either. We've rented countless vehicles and never experienced these issues. After 10 calls to Progressive and about 2 hours of trying to jump through their hoops, we still lost and had to pay their higher rate. While we dealt with this fiasco, we watched other customers who faced other issues and were so frustrated they gave up and left. Do yourself a favor: pay a few dollars more per day to rent from a reputable business. This place is a scam. If my experience doesn't prove it, their other google reviews do.

Kelly McDermott

Off site from the airport. Shuttle service is quick and efficient. Check in and out was quick. Car was a little dirty but this could be because we upgraded and they rushed to get us a vehicle. Nice staff and decent prices. Just a note...look at your receipt. They charge you for that shuttle service!!!

Raul

My experience was good. They were very efficient in explaining the SUV rental and terms. Very friendly, I would go to them again.

Thuan Vanho

Wait 1 hour and 45 minutes to get a car. The guy gives me the car is very rude. I will never visit again. Think twice before you go to this place.

Mel Barefield

Went online, found a nicely priced rental for 7 days, made the reservation. Thats the end of the pleasantries. After taking the rental car shuttle provided by McCarren and arriving at the rental car terminal we find that Economy is not in this facility but another private facility some 5 miles away. So we board Fox/Economys' "local" and i do mean local (imagine the old used shuttles of the third world) shuttle packed with frustrated car renters and luggage and minimal at best air conditioning. On arrival with reservation was informed that i had to have my proof of Insurance on my person to rent or pay $25 a day insurance as well as an additional $500 deposit in addition to the fees and charges on my Credit Card!! Needless to say i cancelled that and took an uber to Budget Rentals and received the same advertised price as Economy!! Classic bait and switch money grab!! Shame on Economy Car Rentals!!

Bob Moorman

Nice car for the price

Nathan Johnson

Worst car rental experience ever! the first problem was we took the initial shuttle to the airport car rental place then we had to take a shuttle from the airport car rental place to a different car rental place. We are told the shuttle would come in about 5 or 6 minutes and it took about 15 to 20 minutes. we got there and there were only two people working the desk, one person stayed with a customer for a full 35 or 40 minutes. They didn't even address anyone waiting in the line. the other person was working as quickly as possible, but for some reason it still took 20 minutes to get through the other customer the worst part was our flight left at 7 a.m. from the Vegas airport and the person we rented our car from said the shuttle buses start at 5 am. So we get there five minutes before 5 a.m. and they're closed and we waited for a little while and no shuttle buses showed up so we had to Uber it to the airport. Turns out they don't open until 6 am. I will never, if I can help it, use economy race at the Vegas airport anymore.

Eric Reines

Low on oil and no windshield washer fluid

ALLISON Lafon

When we landed, we had to take 2 shuttles to get to the offsite facility. We we finally got to the nasty looking rental place that is off the strip in some sketchy warehouse, we stood in line for almost 45 minutes while the only 2 counter attendants tried to help a long line of customers. Then when returned our car, we were told that the shuttle would arrive every 15-20 minutes. That was not true. Additionally, when it did arrive, it was a small minivan that would not hold all the people who were sitting and waiting on this nasty couch that came from someone's house when it became too gross for them to keep it in the house. So, we had to wait for a 2nd shuttle which nearly made us late to catch our flight. I would not reccommend this company to even my worst enemy. Very low-class operation.

Stacy Dewald

No comment. If your in line... Dont worry you only have another hour. & I hope you hve your insurance policy # ready!!!!

Jeff Coupland

Hmmm... We had an awesome car (New Jetta w 12k) For an awesome price and everyone that worked there was fantastic... Yes it was in an old warehouse south of the strip but we weren’t staying in the warehouse so I didn’t give a S about that. Car was clean, newer and I used my own coverage... You just have to say no about 9 times like most car rental companies... If you require a bottle of water and cookies at your rental counter this probably isn’t the place for you. Jeff.

Matt Ivy

After a 30 min shuttle ride. Waited in line for 1.5 hrs, staff was apathetic. One of the worst experiences renting a car I have ever had, and I travel weekly for a living.

Melissa P

Had to wait in line for 2.5 hours to pick up our car. Signs for the shuttle at the airport are not clearly marked. No signs on the road for car return and GPS takes you to a closed community a block away. The car itself was clean, which is the only positive thing I can say

Blanca Bruni

If I could rate No stars I would!!! Omg! Worst ever. Do not even bother. Shuttle took over 30mins to pick us up...at car rental location...AFTER taking a shuttle from the airport to that place...then ANOTHER shuttle to this place where we have been standing in line for an HOUR!!!!! People ahead of me (6-8) people have been in line 30mins more than me. This is BS. This company needs to be shut down.

Shane Egge

Never again...no shuttle service!! Waited longer then you should!

pamela mueller

They said I had to take OPTIONAL insurance as it was mandatory within state. Doubled my price which I had booked through a different vendor. Than the car would kill out any time I put on the break. Called customer line to get a replacement only to get a voice recording to leave a message. Now told on new vehicles there is a button to turn off this low idle feature and I have to do it everytime I get in the vehicle or it could kill. Really would have been nice to know this.

Eric Glover

The line was long and few agents working. Francine was pleasant and helpful. I was offered an upgrade due to my patience. Very nice car and the best rate I could find.

Thomas Pope

If you are in a hurry forget about it and you need to be careful if you are planning on using third party insurance. They will demand you buy liability insurance from them so the price you book online is not the price you will pay. You might save some money using them but it comes with a different price.

Hoyi Chan

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! In Las Vegas, you usually take a shuttle from baggage claim to get to the car rental area. With Economy you have to wait for ANOTHER shuttle, that only takes 6 people at a time, and comes in 15 minute intervals. Such a waste of time. The "discounted" price with them is NOT worth it, STAY AWAY!

William Komraus

Pay the extra money to go somewhere else. This is a hole in the wall place in every way possible. They gave us a rental to find that even they couldn't locate. The car reaked of smoke and they attendant could care less and said the last people probably paid the fee... like yeah just deal with it.

Kevin Liang

This is perhaps the worst place you can rent a car from. The location is like a warehouse and it's super sketchy (you need to hop on their shuttle from the McCarran rent a car center, to begin with). Once there, the reception area looked like it could use a renovation ten years ago. The line was super long (I waited 40 mins for mine) despite there being three staff members at the counters. The staff who greeted me was extremely rude and borderline racist. He was not in uniform and spoke to me with contempt, intimidating me into buying their insurance despite I repeatedly tell them that my credit card already includes rental car insurance that I needed. The guy said stuff like "you obviously don't know what you are talking about" and "can you read?" which is not how you should treat a paying customer. I don't know what Mickey-mouse customer service school they went to, if at all, but I would give this place a zero star if I am allowed to do so. ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS.

Kevin Stanfield

500 for locals and 250 if you not for a depost not worth it.

Missy

Left Out In Cold For Hour and Half Never Got Car I Paid For! Had car rented for Dec 30. took airport shuttle to get car. Was told van driver would not be back, they had no cars, because none where returned! Was 30F I was in feaving cold with child and Economy never came or picked up phone! I had to spend another $300 doller to get car with another carrier. Still no refund or reply from Economy . This is FRAUD!

Jesus Castro

Same experience as others had already experienced. I should’ve had read these reviews before booking with this rental place. I ended up paying double of what I was originally quoted online, on bunch of fees. It gets better, if you are a local you get a higher deposit fee charge, you need two utility bills and proof of car insurance. None of these requirements are required for tourists, only locals. I declined auto insurance but as previous reviewers I accidentally initialed “yes” to getting insurance on their questionnaire. Front desk didn’t even bothered to explain what these questions were. At least car looks decent, but it doesn’t have tags. Just a piece of paper on the windshield. Cheaper doesn’t always equal to less. It ended up coming out to be the same as enterprise. At least at enterprise I get way better customer service. Don’t recommend this place.

Lauren Houck

Do not rent from here. They made us jump through all sorts of hoops for over an hour at 11pm. They made us change our car insurance policy and tried charging me double what I had already paid because my roadside assistance wouldn't transfer from state to state. Their shuttle service doesn't even take you directly to the airport like it says online. The employees were not helpful and their customer service was terrible.

Vasanth Vemula

Terrible shuttle service, waited 45 minutes and finally called Uber to not miss right, manager just walked away when complaining about the bad service.

Abhijeet Patkar

They charged me for fuel even though the car was full tank when I returned it. The girl there told me they will email me the receipt. I did not pay attention to the receipt as I was in a hurry to catch a flight.

A R.

Friendy staff Friendly price Open concept Flexible over all!! Peace..BC

Spencer McPhee

Worst rental experience of my life. Payed for and wasn’t allowed to pick up or change or cancel

Amber Mahurien

Double charged me for my car rental. I prepaid for the rental and then when i returned the car they sent me a receipt saying $0 was due but then went back and charged me again for the rental.

Denita Walker

My husband and I waited over 2 hrs to get into a rental. On top of that we was given a dirty/ stained up vehicle. That was upgrade by the way. Customer service was horrible. No more $$$ from me. Thanks

Max Gomez

Proffesional and frendly service

Moi Luu

Please read the reviews before. The employees here are like govt employees..probably get paid minimum wage... Walk around, talk too much, little work is done...

Mike Olain

Do not book with this rental place. Takes over an hour just to get your car when you arrive. Extremely slow service that it is beyond belief.

Keli Keener

By far the worst rental car experience. There is no way to contact local office. When I called the corporate office. They had thought the Las Vegas location was shut down. VERY FRUSTRATING!

W Cortez

Worst car company I have ever dealt with. While I was waiting in line, their was a lady that spoke very little English and when she asked the agent to repeat what he had said he talked back with the most disrespectful tone. To make matters worst, the manager/supervisor was standing right next to him and smirked!!!! When I got to the counter I was asked top show a current bill. After I wad told I had to get their insurance or else I couldn't get the car.. i advised them i had purchased the collision online and had already talked to my insurance to add the rental for the days. He said it didn't matter. He expected me top pay $50 a day giving me an extra $200. They never answer the phone and I have not been able top get my money back

Michelle Binkley

FYI you have to take a shuttle to the care rental center and then wait for a 2nd shuttle to another site. Then waited in 3 seperate lines to get my car, and then they wanted me to esit even longer for them to clean a car. Gave the guy in front of me a car with only a 1/4 tank of gas. This place is a joke and I CAN NOT believe that Hotwire supports them.

himanshu patel

I would not recommend this company to anybody. Long wait for shuttle to pick up from airport - 30 mins. After reaching to car rental, there were 5 ppl front of me in line for check in but it took almost 50 mins to get my turn for checking in. No doubt they offer low rates but the whole process is time consuming not smooth as other car rentals.

Patricia Chang

Long lines, an hour and a half wait off site from the rental car center not counting the half hour wait for the shuttle at the rental car center at the airport, two agents serving a room full of people, too much upselling and trying to pass off a Kia Soul as a mid sized car causing me in utter frustration to upgrade to a full sized car. Never again!! If I could give a zero star, that would have been my rating! You get what you pay for, pay the rate at the major agencies, save yourself the time and headaches! We arrived at McCarran at noon and did not get a car until 3:30 pm and checked in to our hotel after 4 pm!

Becky Flanery

You have to take 2 shuttles from the airport. We waited 40minutes before the second shuttle picked us up. They promised 10-15 minutes wait time. The employee was nice but our experience was ruined by the rediculous wait times. Wont ever this company again!!

Viking T

Terrible service. Completely unhelpful. Everything felt shady. We will never return to Economy.

Luis Diaz

I’m glad I took the time to read the reviews...totally canceling my reservation after reading all of the spooky reviews!!

Doyle Brown

Economy Rent-A-Car is not on the airport. They are relatively new so there is a longer time to get to your car. Esmeralda helped me behind the counter. She was positive and helpful and got me out of there quickly.

Brandon Lisle

I had not issues with my vehicle rental that I had for 8 days. I first went to fox right next door who I had my reservation with and they gave away my reservation and were out of cars. I came upon Economy and they worked their butt off to give me a car right away. I did have an issue at checkout because I was told to have the car dropped off prior to them opening at 6am. My contract said to have it back at 10pm the night before. They charged me for an additional day. I contacted them and they were more than willing to remove the additional charge by me simply replying to the email they sent upon checkout. Very great people and very easy to work with. The price is super affordable and the vehicles really are great quality.

Jer

What a joke. Take two shuttles to get to your car. Wait 2 hours to get your car. Car is completely out if gas, and no plates! The return was just as much of a pain. Showed up early for shuttle. Waited in line and missed the shuttle out because we got checked out after someone who has just arrived! Major major inconvenience and rude employees to boot!

bupoi sav

Nightmare....40 minute wait for thier one mini van shuttle.

Lisa Hornick

Worst service ever!!! Over an hour wait for shuttle blamed lack of security. Now waiting at counter those in front have been here for some time and we have been told that even though we have reservations they do not have cars. Will now not make scheduled events in time. DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!!!

Kendall Smith

Good customer service but honestly in certain areas they need a 24 hour service or early drop off

Yeejtseeb

Charging fees too high

Anita Shaw

First thing -BRING ALL YOUR INSURANCE DOCUMENTS, they like to argue with you over what coverage you have to force you to buy their insurance. The insurance cost more than the car rental itself. The bill ended up being almost TRIPLE the original price when we booked online after all their extra fees and insurance. Also - they say they are at the airport - this is incorrect, you have to take not one but TWO shuttles to get to their location from the airport. 100% not worth it. Do NOT book here, I promise you can find a better option.

Lane Reese

My company paid for my rental with corporate card. Since my id didn't match the card on file they had to charge mine. Not a big deal, but they refused to refund the originally payment so we paid twice for the same rental car. Expedia couldn't resolve. Unreal.

M D

The worst car rental experience I've ever had. Took 2 hours to get our reservation processed

Erik Louie

I had to write this review because all of the bad reviews are outdated. We were really scared when we saw the reviews and going in, but the experience was much better than we expected. Economy rent-a-car has since merged with Ace. The location is no longer valid here. Look for where Ace and Fox rent a car are located. Pretty much your standard rental company experience. All things about this company are frugal, which you should expect given the price you're paying. The location is hidden in an industrial / warehouse area at the back of the lot behind other rental car companies. The sign up area is spartan. There is a couch while waiting for the shuttle. The car that I was given was decent, a fairly new Ford Focus with USB ports and bluetooth streaming. Only modest mileage. They have upgrade options for a more luxurious adventure. If you order a more economy vehicle and they have bigger vehicles in stock, they'll try to upsell you around $8-10 a day, not sure if that's a better option than getting it ahead of time. The shuttle experience was great. Come every 15 minutes from the airport rental center. You will need to bus from and to the airport from the rental center, so expect another 10-15 minutes. The shuttle driver was pretty social and kind and a better driver than most. If you're still concerned after all of this whether or not it's good, the only things you need to watch out for: 1) They will upsell you to try to get you in more luxurious cars and sell rental insurance (make sure your insurance covers rentals) and 2) you can only drive unlimited miles in four states: AZ, NV, and a couple others.

Qabas Qutaiba

I paid double what it should, long line, ride twice to reach them.

Brandon Seilinger

After two shuttles from the airport to the economy off site location in Las Vegas, 45 min from baggage claim we start the car rental paperwork process 1hr 15 min later we’re on the road. Come to find out after being pulled over for no reason other than having NO License plate?... Shocked that a company i trusted on vacation to provide a safe LEGAL vehicle to show my family a nice time would do me dirty like this w/o even telling me they don’t put license plates on new vehicles lmao. Good luck and thanks for still charging me for 12 hrs I had your vacation ruining rental. Never again for me folks, save yourselves. Side note both shuttle drivers were great not there fault. Counter help was horrible and condescending upon returning the car first thing the next morning.

Steven Celestino

Must say after reading all these negative review, I was by faith I'm going to give this place a 5 star and mr king did a great job getting me in and out in no problems.

Joeanna Clark

Terrible! Being the second person in line, the whole process took a little over 3hours just to rent a car and 4 cars later we finally got a vehicle with working air in the 114° weather. Kevin and Jeremiah were really nice and helpful so that star is for them. But the vehicles there just seems as if they do not maintain them at all for them to be newer cars, and be careful some cars dont even have plates. My friend and I call this place jankey car rental

Dhruv R

Awful experience. Staff is not properly trained. Gave me wrong paperwork and charged me twice. Also far from airport in sketchy location. I regret my choice and experience.

mehul B

Terrible experience! Charged me $200 (supposed to be deposit) in addition to rental car charges! When you call them on numbers provided on their website, I was bounced to another center with a different number. When called that number, I was bounced to another center with a different number. After 20 min, I couldn’t get hold of right representative in right department.. All I got was “ I don’t have access to details . Call this number...”

Bahu Prakash Bahumanyam

Ok value, considering that this place is off airport, and user experience has to improve, before I use this agency. Employees are good, systems ......

Leonardo Cavestany

Rented car at this agency on April8, 2019 11:00 AM.Vehicle issued had a "TEMP" plate. Later that day, I was issued a citation by Las Vegas Highway patrol for driving and "unregistered vehicle". Operations Manager said "that's OK" and a replacement unit was issued. Despite assurances from Economy Rent A Car Agency general manager and business manager that they will "take care of this", the issue remains outstanding at the Las Vegas Municipal Courts. I hope that Economy Rent A Car agency can help me with this citation. To date this has remained as an outstanding nightmare and I hope no customer will have to go through the same experience.

James Az

I have never given a bad review in my life but this place has be 0 out if 5 stars. Made a reservation online and reservation was 9am by default. Now I've been renting cars for 20 some years; in fact rented at 4 different places, including lower end like Fox Rental in last 2 months and that didn't happen. First thing I was told that becaise I'm local I will have provide 2 bills with my name and address (WHAT!!...Did I just apply for Payday loan?) and $500 deposit, oh and by the way, we don't have the car you reserved and your reservation expired 4hrs after stated time so you'll have pay more!!! That was not mentioned anywhere when i made resresrvation but buried somewhere in Terms & Conditions (probably true but when did you last read terms and conditions line by line for renting car). All that could've been acceptable but instead of trying to help, the 'we don't care attitude' from agent and manager was over the top. I ended up picking up at Advantage for few dollars more but got treated with respect and only took minutes. Especially for visitors I would suggest to pay a few dollars more and stay with On Terminal companies, you'll safe time and headache. Economy Rental is far and built under a shed, not to mention no customer service whatsoever.

Lauren Schrotenboer

Awful experience from start to finish. Poor customer service when picking up the vehicle. A staff member became evidently frustrated with a customer, walking out on them in the middle of a reservation. Waited in line for over an hour. When I finally got the car (and got to my hotel), I realized there was no license plate, registration, or anything. I continually called & was forwarded to voicemail, so I had to drive back to economy for proper paperwork. They told me I could receive my full deposit back & return the car on empty, but they did not follow through. They took half my deposit. Stay away!!!!!!!!!! Not worth the discounted rates as it has only been a headache!

Darren Miles

Felt like Circa 1985 - you really get what you pay for. Know what you’re getting before going in. I waited 40 mins to get my car and there were only 4 people in front of me. It literally took 10 to 15 minutes per customer to get their car rented. Sure it was a great deal, but at what cost? 2 shuttles to get there and they have limited hours, so if your flight arrives late.... it wasn’t all bad however, the gentleman who helped me actually had a really good attitude, his name was Al. And I got a very nice vehicle at a minor increase in cost. Not the worst experience I’ve ever had, but lower your expectations upon arrival.

K Thibodeaux

I stood in line for about almost an hour and when I got almost done with the paperwork, the rep told me they don't have any SUV as per my reservation. After a tense 15 minutes and me explaining that I expected them to find me a comparable car and I wasn't paying a dime more for it. Soon an SUV arrived. Never again.

Abul Huq

I went to this place because it was "cheap", well not really. They forced me to buy their insurance even though I have my own comprehensive coverage. The sales person said that they only accept four insurance companies. I wanted to cancel the booking and they did not let me to do that. So I had to pay an additional $150 for insurance. They made us wait for hours while the sales persons were busy with their up sales. The sales persons are con artists and act like mafia in terms money extortion. Expedia should not let this place to post its rental advertise to protect Expedia's reputation.

Michelle Ifill

The wait was little long with checking out but the service was good. Very disappointed with all the extra fees which was unexpected.

Irene Orr

Amazing experience twice in a row. Malik one of the managers is very professional and has AMAZING customer service as well as great communication. Everything went as planned and in and out within 15 minutes!! For sure worth the extra drive from the airport ask for Malik he’s the best !! Best prices as well and great selection

Dean Litster

Rented thru online. After 2 off site shuttles and not reading the fine print. Got juiced for double what I booked online. They fast talk you and in my opinion pull the old bait and switch. If you are looking for a low cost rental. Please. PLEASE. Look elsewhere.

Ivana Parcetic

Very, very bad experience. Clinton, guy who works there, is rude and unprofessional. If you ask him something, he will say NO for sure. He knows only that word. Also, they are NOT at the Las Vegas Airport. Economy Rent a Car is almost 4 miles from the airport. We booked fullsize car, they gave us intermediate, the smallest car without TAG. Yes, their cars do not have tags. Be very careful!!! Also, they tried to charge us extra for the insurance and "extra services". Clinton took our Geico insurance information, charge deposit $200 + my husband signed 6 papers and he must take full responsibility for any demages, flat tire, low battery.... It was horrible experience. Please, run away from Economy Rent a Car Las Vegas.

Ellen Badudina

AVOID this place for any price!!! People wait for hours for a shuttle and then hours in a line. Stuff is super slow and not helpful. I have plenty of time to write a long negative review, while standing in a line. The pavilion itself is horrible, I would think in a place like this people keep stolen cars; and the location is perfect to hide from everyone. I didn’t see my car yet, so fingers crossed.

Mrs Tshili Billingsley

The worst ever. Waiting for an hour for a shuttle and charging us double what Priceline had quoted. I have called them everyday to fix this issue but no response. I will just have to dispute the charge on my card.

Melissa Anonson

Priceline you should be ashamed to even affiliate yourself with this sketchy rental car company!!!! It is not near the airport and in some off the road dirty warehouse. I was quoted $86 for 3 days. However, after waiting in line for 20 minutes I was told the total was $190. I was like WHAT? They added on full coverage insurance. I was like I do not need full coverage. I do not need the insurance and he was insistent that I had to take there liability insurance which brought the total to $140 PLUS &200 deposit...not a hold and actual charge on my card. So yes the total was 339 of which $200 is supposed to be credited back to my account. Still am not sure what is going to happen but it better be credited. They make you sign like 7 waivers on this tiny screen which doesn’t scroll well and when I started walking to get the car I noticed it said they charged .50 per mile outside of the state of Nevada, Arizona and California. This was after the guy asked if I was going to Zion which is in Utah. Seriously!!!!! I went back in there...He was like it is totally fine. I was like no it isn’t and I refuse to pay that. So the guy was like I am the manager and I was like I don’t care who you are I need a new agreement. He wrote some little note on my rental agreement...I know they track all their cars via GPS but I WiLL GET MY $200 back. Avoid this place at all costs!!! The only positive thing I do have to say is that we had no issues with the car. It was a 2018 Ford Escape. Overall I was so disappointed!!! Never again will I use Priceline and have no idea what I am getting!!!

Bennie Allen

Too damn long in line

Alicia Aguilar

I hope you are reading before booking! I prepaid for a vehicle using Hotwire and was told it would be an extra $200 deposit when I got there. $73 on top of that of which is was a magical non-explanatory fee. The guy then told me he would only hold $1 for the deposit but still tried to charge me $73 for something.. card declined ( jokes on you!) then I was told later that it would be and extra $11 a day to add my sister as a driver so I could let them “hold” the deposit. When we went BACK the terms were completely different. She paid $21 dollars after she told them she wanted to know exactly what she was paying for. Nothing was as it should have been. I will never rent from them again! It’s a scam!!!

Adam Sweeney

More expensive after their hidden huddle fees, not the car you asked for, and takes forever to get to their offsite place and get a car

Ken Crichton

never go through Hotwire

Eric Chuang

If I could give it 0 star, I would. I never had such horrible experience in my life, I spend 2 hours in line and another half hour to finished the paper work, then guess what, another hour for them to prepare my rental, what a BS! and the worst thing was that they change 100$ more for stupid insurance. If you are considering this rental, just don’t bother and try the other.

Jose Flores

I guarantee that I never return to this place the worst of the worst

Darren Burden

Don't do it. This is the worst I've ever seen. You can pay $1 more elsewhere and save yourself alot of headache. This place takes 3 hours to pick up a vehicle. The employees laugh at you and say the lines wouldn't be here if they weren't so cheap. There are other discount places that don't have these problems. Well, they got me once. They won't get me again. Happy to free up a line space for everyone. We really need negative stars for a place like this.

Andrew Campbell

Overall terrible experience - try anywhere but here. After declining insurance online when I booked the car I was asked at the counter when picking the car up if I'd like insurance which I also declined. The clerk then highlights all the areas she told me to initial/sign showing I "agree to the rental terms". So after declining insurance twice, I thought I was simply signing and initialing the terms I advised the clerk I wanted. However, it turns out (which is my fault for not reading the fine print) that I initialed agreeing to insurance! Since this was the case, why didn't the clerk mention to me that I was purchasing insurance when I just clarified two seconds ago I didn't want it? It was extremely shady and I feel undermined. Then when I returned the car realizing I'm being charged insurance I asked to see where I signed. The manager then takes me in the back (presumably knowing I'll cause scene) to show me where I signed. I described how I declined insurance twice and only signed where it was highlighted by the clerk at the front desk because I was instructed to do so. The manager goes on to explain they have to highlight those areas to emphasize the importance of what you're supposed to be initialing you agree to. Overall I feel duped by this company and it's employees. I was going to rent a car through them again if they were willing to work with me on this issue but the manager only offered two days free rental and honestly that's not enough for me. I paid an extra $350 for insurance that I declined, twice. Instead of working with me and getting a good review they've lost a customer for life and hopefully many more based on all the terrible reviews this company is getting! STAY AWAY!!!!

Joshua LeBlanc

This place is a complete rip off. I reserved a car for less than $100 and when I got there I was outright lied to by the sales associate who told me I had to buy their supplemental insurance because Nevada legalized cannabis and so they claimed my personal insurance wouldn’t cover it. He then told me the car would cost me $475 ($200 of which was a deposit) and told me he would give me a breakdown of costs only after I swiped my credit card. I walked out of the place when he refused my declining of the insurance and then tried to charge me a $10 per day “energy fee” plus some $4 per day misc fee. I went back to the car rental center and rented from enterprise and got a larger car for $188 taxes included. Avoid this place like the plague as they are liars and cheats.

Lynda Barkley

esmarelda the front desk was awesome i will come back just to see here i loved her. lynda barkley kimberly bauers customers for life myself have rented 4 times i wont go anywere else

Kris Korpela

A bit of a hassle to take two shuttles to pick up from airport. While waiting, was sold a $20 offer to a neighbouring casino for brunch and a credit which turned out to be a time share pitch. We didn't go as the reviews were awful. Car was great. Staff were pleasant and actual pick up and drop off were fine.

Leaky's Bike-It

Read this and prepare before you book. 1. Get a copy of your insurance showing coverage and bring it with you. These guys will try and talk you into their insurance... it’s their job. Be prepared to say no over and over. 2. Bring a copy of your online reservation showing your price. They will try and upsell... it’s their job. Be prepared to say no. If you can’t say no, go smaller in vehicle and let them talk you up to what you want. Remember there is a deposit, ours was $200 3. It is true that you will need 2 shuttles, one to the big rental center, then one to their warehouse. Allow 30-60 mins. Or get Uber $12-$18 and beat the crowd 4. I did not have a long wait but others did to get vehicle, be prepared. 5. Take pictures of any scratches on vehicle and especially windshield and gas level. Do not check on their incline make sure car is on flat surface. Bring back full or extra charges. 6. When bringing back may want to take pictures again as before. And if the guy says 12-24 hours for deposit return... may not be correct. If you return on weekend it will take longer. On average 2-3 business days. Prepare for that. I prepared myself by reading reviews and lowered my expectations. If you know what they will do, then you will know how to react. —they will try and upsell, you may have wait times, you Will have long shuttle times. But vehicles are clean, new and most importantly.... cheap. 4 stars cause prepared, 2 stars or less if go in blind

ACE rent a car is fair, 2 shuttles to,/from airport, average car no frills.

Nandakumar Sundaresan

Had to take two shuttles to reach. Long queue - I guess short staffed . Good staff though

Sungha Lee

I regret to rent a car here. Location is terrible and price was different from when i booked from online. It was almost double from online. You should read these all reviews before you book here.

Monica Paczkowski

This is THE worst rental car place I have ever been to. People waiting over an hour and. A half for a car, incompetent employees, and no organization whatsoever

Joel Bonnette

Extremely slow. Staff not helpful. Would never do business with these guys again.

Sidharth Datta

Far from the airport, took too much time to get the car ready!
