Overall a pretty good experience but the actual terms and policies are so different from the corporate Budget chain I was use too. I feel those should be stated and clearly define in beginning of process/transaction as your facility is located within airport , which means travelers mostly not just locals.

Horrible experience! Rented and PAID for an explorer over a month ago. When I go to pick up my vehicle I'm told I can't have it because I don't have a major credit card although I have already PAID IN FULL. Then I"m told without a credit card i can't rent anything but a garbage mini van that was gross inside, all scratched up and cost even more. I have to take it because I'm stuck at the airport. Then to add insult to injury im told if i can't prove that i filled the gas within 5 miles of the airport upon return, i will be charged a full tank of gas.. if anyone is looking to file a class action lawsuit please contact me. BAIT AND SWITCH! THEN THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUR VULNERABILITY TO CHARGE YOU MORE!

The woman at the counter was helpful and friendly. Once that was done my family and I could hit the ground running. We just went out to our row and number to find our van waiting with the keys inside. The van was a Toyota Sienna (you can Open the doors with your key, but not the trunk and no blind spot lights on your mirrors). The car was a smooth and spacious ride. Returning was just as easy. Sign some paper and you’re in your way. Catching the shuttle there and then back to the airport was easy and the people were friendly. The only cons - 1. The check-in line moves slowly. Maybe the desk is understaffed? 2. The car had some left over wrappers and when you turned on the air the car smelled like feet. Yuck. Thank goodness the smell went away after running for a few minutes.

First and Most likely the last time to use them. long line at pick up after waiting 30 min they have no more cars only trucks which i took one, more on gas and limited on room. my reservation was from 12am Sun till 8 pm Wed, by the time we got to the truck it was almost 2 am and returned about 4:30, no refund for unused time like other companies do. people were not friendly, helpful nor did they have answers.

Read all the bad reviews on google so I was afraid of having booked a budget car. I had no problems picking up my car quickly on a Monday morning and dropping off on a Monday afternoon. Car was as expected, clean and ran great. Would definitely book again.

The customer service is horrible, and they have ridiculous requirements for locals to show two utility bills as proof of address. I have an NV driver's license, and due to traveling abroad for quite some time don't have any utility bills associated with my address because my mail is being sent to a PO box. They would not issue a refund to me at the counter, overall I got a better deal, better service and a better car at Dollar rental car.

I picked the car up with 3/4 of a tank of gas in it. I rent from Budget all of the time and I always bring the car back with the same amount of gas in it that I received it with. When I returned it they asked why I did not fill it up to full and I explained to them that I only received it with 3/4 of a tank and that is what I am giving it back with. They said we gave it to you with a full tank and I said no you did not. They charged me $40 more to fill the tank. I am very displeased and I more than likely never rent from Budget again. I am a Fastbreak member and I should not be treated this way considering Budget was the only rental car business that I used. That will probably change now.

This is the worst car rental experience throughout the years. 1. the price I got at the airport is different from the price I reserved online. There are extra fees. 2. The car selection is really limited. 3. $12/day to add driver, this is universal for Budget though. Higher than other company. 4. This is the worst part. When we returned the car, the man told us there is a dent on the right back door, while there is nothing there!! The door seems different from the left side but it looks like a design thing. Nothing happened to the door! I am not sure if I will be charged but we were angry and disappointed. I will never suggest this place. The price seems cheaper than others but after all the extra charge I found the final price is same with Sixt. I'd rather use Sixt, much better experience.

They tried to sell their auto insurance so bad that it was annoying after one point. It seemed like their business model is solely up selling anything other than car rental. It was ling weekend and he spent more than 10 minutes scaring us for insurance in spite of huge line behind me waiting.

They accept debit card, but will over charge you to use one. Full size car is largest "allowable" debit card rental unless you agree to buy the unneeded, everything possible including UFO head on collision insurance or being bombed by Japanese Zero bombers insurance. Like really, why does a debit card need more restrictions when its guaranteed that the money is there vs a credit card that does not guarantee funding? ALSO THEY DO NOT ACCEPT PROGRESSIVE RENTAL CAR COVERAGE

I Really didn't care for the front counter person. The guy was all about selling me additional products and nothing about actual customer service. When introducing the additional insurance options... rather then going through the optional programs and the benefits, he just named 3 types and asked which one I would be choosing. When I told him that they are optional... he tried to scare me into taking them or else. I honestly expected more from Budget.

At the time of returning my rental running out of time to catch my flight I forgot a bag full of new shoes with tags still and more items I didn’t realized until I was at airport 15-20 min later so I tried calling no one answered I went back and talk to manager supervisor person in car wash area front desk Every one there about my bag and no one knew anything about it I requested to che k cameras and they didn’t all they said was to call back and they will try to find out what hapuwirh my over $400 value bag of shoes and items Is unbelievable the manager couldn’t do anything not even one hr and the bag disappeared How could a client trust this company with the workers keeping the clients forgotten stuff in their vehicles And the managers customer service was very pathetic and unprofessional Never ever again will rent from that place

Usually get a good deal through Costco's website for rental cars. Always seems like a line at this rental counter so expect a wait. They didn't offer a choice on the vehicle for the category I was renting. Vehicle itself was in good shape, but windshield had fingerprints in the driver's line of sight. Rent here for the price, not for the experience.

I had my parents set up to pick up a car at this place. They are older and were taken advantage of and charged a different price. They ended up paying over $100.00 of original price. I attempted to get them to honor the price and was basically told no. Never renting from here again be careful if you pick up a vehicle there.

We paid online for our rental car when we made the reservation & we were not aware we had to pay an extra $164 for extra insurance fees. But when we got there we were told we had to because in the state of Nevada our insurance will not cover this. Kind of frustrating when we could have went to Enterprise, the fees are all of front & would have ended up a better deal for us. Instead we got to the rental desk & found out we owed more than what we paid online & it would be mandatory.

Terrible customer service by MICHAEL. I booked my car through Costco. When I got there, the attendant DOUBLED the cost of the reservation. I said that can’t be right. I denied all add ons. And so then he revised it and said it was $30 extra versus $50 extra. Now I’m looking at the cancelled receipt and it says I had accepted a $28.16 fee a day. I did NOT agree to this. I said I have insurance and don’t want any extra coverage. So I lost a car for a weekend because of this. I will NEVER rent with Budget. I will take my business elsewhere.

Terrible, will never use again. Had a reservation for SUV for our week long vacation. After waiting in a long line, they said there were no cars available. Just told me to just wait there for as long as it took for someone to return a similar car. Walked across the lobby and got another car from a competitor in 5 minutes. Avoid to save yourself frustration.

Requested a car at 11 am, got there at 12:20 pm and my car was not ready. It wasn't in the correct spot and it was not even washed yet. We asked multiple workers (3) for help. One said that it was still being washed, one said they would go get it, and the other had no idea what to do. After 20 minutes of waiting we had finally gotten out car. The current lady that was helping us said it was not our car, but the worker who jumped out said that it was. Our car had 2 scratches in it. Over all it was a very nice car, but from my experience, the employees have no communication or knowledge of what they are doing.

I made reservations for a convertible months in advance for my birthday. My reservations were for 5pm and they did NOT have what paid for. I had already been waiting there for one hour in the 108 degree heat and still nothing. What's the point of reservations if they aren't going to have the car. They also tried to trick me into buying another insurance which I already purchased when I initially rented the car. Be careful with these people here!!!

Initial problem with this location was the desk agent misinforming us about insurance coverages in Nevada. The rental car we were assigned had no plates and only temporary window tag and upon leaving the garage we were informed the tag was expiring the next day. That would have been day 1 of a 3 day rental. I guess checking the tags are in date is added on the list of things to do at rental car locations in the future. Budget did switch the car for us but another issue with both cars was the smell of marijuana that was present in both cars.

Victor told us it was sate law to take out the additional insurance coverage that is covered by our car insurance stating it was required in NV. He insisted that it was required Flat out lie!! Also, we were required to have receipt for gas within 5 miles and he was rather instantant they fill it. When. We returned,.the guy had no interest in the receipt. We rent cars often, this was the least pleasant experience to date. Our car smelled like weed and vomit- great smell for a week!

I read all the negative reviews and still decided to rent from this location. Terrible mistake. I am a Fastbreak member, so I went straight to The counter in the garage. My name was not on the screen and the guy called Raheel told me I had to wait 20 min. There was no one around and plenty of cars parked right in front of me. I explained that we have a little baby who needs to go to bed (it was midnight). So I needed the car ASAP. He only replied in a very rude manner that there was nothing he could do. Then people started arriving and all of them got their cars immediately. We were the only ones waiting. And no, I didn’t book any special car, just a regular intermediate sedan. So don’t make the same mistake and don’t rent from here. And if anyone from Budget reads these reviews, they should fire Raheel and the whole management team of this rental office that allows such behaviour.

Don’t waste your time. We had a pick up/ reservation at 11:50pm last night. After waiting in line for almost an hour they told us they didn’t have any mini vans available for our 7 passengers. They told us to come back the next morning and it was still not guaranteed they would give us one. Even tho we already had it reserved. The next morning we went in and tried to see if they would give us an upgrade or waive a fee or even apologize for the inconvenience they caused but we didn’t get anything. I won’t ever be renting from this company ever again. Please save yourself a headache.

The guy checking my car in point out a "nick" in the windshield, about the size of a sharpened pencil tip. I thought he was joking, but no. Had to write an incident report and apparently they want me to pay for it. It looks like a water spot on the windshield and they think someone should catch it on a self inspection. The people on front of me had a similar incident. It seems like some sort of scam is going on. I've rented a lot of cars and never seen anything like it. I can't wait for their phone call.

I've rented a car here 3 times in the last few months and the quoted price has been the out the door cost. One time I did get a really dirty car (exterior) but I never bothered to go back and ask for a different one. This is still my go-to company until they force me elsewhere.

We rented a vehicle from this location to drive to Salt Lake City. During the reservation process, I was able to reserve one car seat but I needed another. I called their customer service line to reserve the second one without a problem. On the date of reservation, I called them because our flight had been delayed and we weren't going to arrive until several hours later. Again, there was no problem. I called them a third time since our flight had been cancelled and we weren't going to arrive until two days later. When we finally arrived to pick-up our vehicle, we were informed at the counter that corporate does not allow for car seats to be taken from out of state. I spoke to one of their employees THREE times before we picked-up and none of them gave us this information. However, the most upsetting part of our experience was that the employee behind the counter's first suggestion was that we go to their local Walmart to buy two car seats. She did not offer any type of credit for us to make this transaction, she simply said "Well you can try returning them once you're home." After she noticed that we were upset about this since we have two children under 2 and we would have to Uber or Lyft to Walmart, she proceeded to speak to her supervisor and they ended up borrowing two car seats from Axis Rent a Car. However, this whole process took one hour to resolve. If I had been informed in any of my initial calls about this rule, we would have reserved elsewhere as we will be doing for future reservations.

Seems to be a recurring scam here, WATCH OUT. If you let them know you already have insurance on your credit card, they’ll charge you anyway even though they say they won’t. Charged me $80 for insurance and now will only refund half! Filed chargeback with my credit card, as well as with the Better Business Bureau. I won’t let this continue to happen!

We rented 3 cars for a big family, but we rented it on one persons name, which the website allowed, without an alert. Now when we went to claim our cars they proceeded to tell us that we can not get the cars because “one person can’t drive three cars”. So we explained the situation and they said we would have to pay a $100 fine to change the names and claim the cars. Why did they allow for the cars to be put on one name in the first place? Seriously, thanks for wasting our time and starting our trip off in a horrible way.

The best part is that we just went to a different person same place and she got us a car with in 5 minutes. Slowest freaking staff. It's a long line here and and 2 people to assist. And the lady is literally taking 15 mins for one customer. Do they even have a target time for a customer or not. I have seen other rentals handling such situations in a better way.

This was the most awful experience ever! Melba is an employee there who is very dishonest and scandalous! She will lie to you and say that there is a 40% tax for the state of Nevada and say you have to pay it! Be aware! Ask all of the questions! I know it is difficult if you have been traveling all day! But do not let her fool you! Horrible customer service dishonest! Plus they have a line for Costco customers and let other people who are not Costco customers go ahead of you! If that is the case they should just make it one line!

tried to scam me. Car was dirty when I inspected and then when I returned the car, the low-rate employee goes over the car with a fine tooth comb. He says I damaged the car -- a windshield chip the size of an eyelash. Good thing I bought the additional coverage or I'd be buying them a new windshield. Terrible.

Trust me. Don't go here, they surprised us with additional little fees that were not mentioned and were quick to take our money. The car was in perfect condition when returned. I ended up having to pay 80 more dollars because of this. It cost even more than the car itself.

Everything was great. Very accommodating. I didn't get in until about 1 hour after I was supposed to arrive (plane delayed because of weather). There were no cars: only trucks and vans! The clerk found me an SUV and swapped it for the same price as the economy that I had booked. My only suggestion is that directions to car rental return would be great. I drove around for an hour trying to find the car rental return at McCarren!

Came to rent a car, as I've done many times with this company. The woman helping me and my wife was very rude. I asked her a question and she told me i could NOT talk to her, and she repeatedly spoke over my wife. The manager was seated next to her, he did NOT do anything about her poor customer service and dismissed our complaint about her service. Leaves me to think the whole morning team including the lead/manager needs to take a training course

I made a reservation ahead and arrived on time to pickup the car as I do very often when I travel. I had never been treated with such a bad attitude by any car rental company around the world. Once I declined insurance since I’m already covered by my credit card company as a primary insurance, Rosalie (claims to be a supervisor) became nasty and offered that we rent elsewhere if I won’t provide her with my personal car insurance information or buy her insurance. We ended up getting a beat up car with bad brakes and returned the car the next day. They demand that you provide them with a fuel receipt even if you returned the car with a full tank of car or else they will charge you $15.99 flat fee. Rosalie mentioned that this location is privately owned and has different policies than other Corporate owned budget locations and the owner of this location can set any policy. My suggestion is not to rent a car from this location. Pay more and rent with a company that will respect your business.

The agent I delt with at the Las Vegas Airport location was not going to give up on my buying additional insurance. I told him I was fully covered and didn't need any more, he told me that there was no way to be covered without buying their full package of insurance. He told me that if I was okay having the value of the car charged to my credit card I could go without their insurance. Told me they did not have car I reserved, gave me worst car in category. Car had been in a major front end accident, poorly repaired and after taking 9 pictures of existing damage I look down the row only to see multiple cars of model I requested. I went to rental office in pick up garage and they had no problem changing me to another car. This has happened to me before when I refused insurance, car I was originally given was in bad shape and I had to request a change.

We reserved and paid for a mini van online when we got there they said we had no reservation. We stood at the counter for over an hour waiting for them to find a mini van. We ended up walking away we walked over to enterprise and had a van in less then 5 minutes

Companies should not be able to get away with lying, cheating, and stealing from customers, yet this one has done it MANY times. Just read the majority of the reviews! Their logo should say, “If you like hidden fees, lying employees, being scammed and ripped off, and enjoy HORRIBLE customer service look no further, budget rent A car of Las Vegas has got ya covered!” My husband and I were in Las Vegas for one day visiting a friend we had not seen in years. We rented a car from this place. The check out guy, Mario was extremely difficult to understand, we were exhausted from a very long day of travel, and he told us several lies! We originally rented a small car, Nissan Versa or simi, which would cost, $71.53 (we were going to be charged for two days because we were picking up at 6 pm on a Friday and returning at 4 am on a Sunday). Mario asked us if we wanted to upgrade to a bigger car for an extra $15. I couldn't understand if he said $15 or $50 so I said $15, as in, ONE FIVE? And he said yes, 15, as in, ONE FIVE. So we said yes. He upgraded us to a Ford Mustang. He asked us if we wanted any extra coverage, we BOTH said no we had our own coverage! When my husband was signing for the car Mario said to him, “you have to sign accept or it won't work.?” We did that thinking that was normal. The bill came to, $303.18. We asked Mario why it was so high and he said it was because there was a $190 deposit that we would get back at checkout. We have seen this before when we've rented cars so we didn't question it. At checkout, Penney checked us out and when we asked her about the $190 deposit she said there was no deposit. We told Penney what Mario told us and then she handed us a receipt that we had never seen! There were SO many overcharges, hidden fees, a loss damage waiver we said we didn't want! Penney claimed she could not do anything for us and had us fill out a incident report. When I spoke with budget a few days later (I had to call them, since they were not calling me) they refused to do anything to help us except refund our $15.99 flat rate fuel charge that Penney added on even AFTER we gave her a receipt showing we had already put fuel in the car! We were charged an extra $130 for the upgrade, not the $30 ($15 each day) we were told it would be. They also added a loss damage waiver for, $56.32, that we had BOTH said we did not want! There are so many hidden fees that can't be explained even though I asked them for explanations! The one time I was able to talk to someone about the incident report we filled out, I had told the assistant manager that Mario told us the upgrade would be $15 per day, and that because he was hard to understand I said, "15 as in ONE FIVE?" And he said, "yes, ONE FIVE". When I told her this she said, "no it's $65 to upgrade". He definitely did not say 65, 15 and 65 don't even sound the same, there is no way to mistake the number 65 for 15! I could understand if we got 15 confused with the number 50 because those numbers do sound similar. That is also the reason I clarified, because I couldn't tell if he had said 15 or 50. He DEFINITELY DID NOT say $65! Then for him to tell my husband he has to press accept or he can't sign for the car, that was dishonest of him because he knew we specifically told him we did not want or need any additional coverage since we had our own. He should have been telling us to decline the loss damage waiver fee, not accept it since just 2 seconds before we said no extra coverage!! When the total charge showed on the credit card processor and we questioned why it was so high, he again lied to us and said there was a $190 refundable deposit we would be reimbursed for at checkout. It just isn't okay to be dishonest to your customers and rip them off, then tell them all they can do for you is file an incident report and that someone would contact you, but then no one does! This is HORRIBLE customer service! I went to the BBB for help and my bank. Don’t rent from this place!

I really hate giving a one star review to the whole company because of the actions of one person, but that person is the customer service representative and it is he who should represent the company in a professional manner. RENTERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!! I wish I could give ZERO stars here!!! The lady behind counter said I could upgrade to the Convertible Mustang for an extra $60. I gladly gave her $60 in cash and drove off in the Mustang. Upon returning the car I was hit with a plethora of extra charges, including $60 upgrade fee (THAT I PAID). The counter person STOLE my cash! I opened an investigation claim to which I STILL have never heard anything back from Budget. I will never do business with them again and will do my best to tell everyone I know to never rent from them again. SHAME ON YOU BUDGET!!!

Horrible service, had a reservation through Costco, first they tried to charge me extra for the additional driver, then she did a soft credit check and flatly refused to rent me a car. I was stuck in Vegas without my agreed to ride and budget could not care less.

Every time I am in Vegas and need a vehicle I go straight to budget. there's a shuttle bus from the airport terminal to the car rental facility which takes about 5 to 10 minutes. after that I have the fast break program so I can walk straight through and pick up my car without having to get in line which is awesome. the rates are competitive and the vehicles are always in perfect condition. what more could you want from a rental company??? I would consider budget a complete home run for anybody that's looking for a company to use once in awhile or on a regular basis like me. The last time I needed to go to Vegas I also had to be in La for 2 days so I rented a SUV to pick up some gear and drove it to LA and back. There was tons of cargo room. Well done!

At first you think that the sales folks are providing good customer service by asking personal questions but it turns at that it appears it is so they can hit you with extra fees for insurance coverage that you didn't elect at time of making your reservation. I wish I could give zero stars for this business. I rented a car from budget and the car was dirty and within 30 minutes of driving, tire pressure light came on, i had to put air in the tire 3 times. Upon returning the car I asked to speak to a manger and was told why bother. I truly understand the gentleman’s comment now because the manager was no help at all. He offered me $3-5 discount. What a slap in the face. I will never be using budget again. I had scheduled a move truck with budget as well last month for next weekend but I will be contacting a different company. I rather pay more elsewhere. Be very careful when using budget, in-fact stay away for your own good.

A few weeks ago I prepaid for a full size sedan knowing that I would be arriving late Saturday night. I was with my family (3 kids) and wanted to ensure that I had a car waiting, the reason I prepaid. After waiting over 30 minutes in line, to my surprise there was no full size available. I was offered a compact or pickup truck, neither of which would work for a family of 5 with luggage. I took the truck with the promise I could exchange it the next day if I was to drive all the way back to the airport to do so. Upon getting in the truck, the gas tank wasn’t even full, only 7/8. The gate attendant noted it. The next day when I came to exchange vehicles, no apologies for the inconvenience, just questions of why I needed to switch cars. I took the car and once I got out of the parking garage and saw the car in the daylight I realized it was beyond filthy. In the dimly lit parking garage the lighting is bad so you can't fully see everything. There were stained seats and it looked like a soda had exploded with pop on the seats consoles and armrests. Customer service was not open Sunday so I called Monday morning to explain my situation. I was asked to email photos of the car. Here are some of the photos but not all. It has now been 4 1/2 days since I called to voice my concerns and sent the email. I have not heard anything back. I will never use Budget again.

Bad customer service. I was force to buy a loss damage insurance, 28 per day, even I have clearly told them I have insurance to cover it. They just treat me as an idiot and talk rudely to me that I have to buy it. Never rent car from budget again. Good luck for other people.

Yes they did upsell the wife and I after I discovered she'd booked a tiny VW. $5 a day more and we had a Fusion...well worth it. The fella who waited on us (and the man at the return) was very friendly, only mentioned the extra insurance and was helpful verifying how to get to various places. Yes there was a line forming while we were being waited on but for us both picking up and releasing the car was quick and easy. Only person NOT friendly was the woman at the Airport rental center exit. Not a Budget employee but shouldn't be dealing with people.

Love is extreme but the car was great. Just make sure you inspect your vehicle in the light. The cars are in a parking structure and it's hard to see. We had a dent that was already reported (there was a sticker on the dent indicating it was already reported) but we didn't see it until we were parked in a lot at a restaurant AFTER leaving the parking structure. Just take a moment to look at the vehicle in better light when you pull up at the gate before you exit the structure when the attendant gives you the form to fill out indicating damage. Walk around at that time just to make sure.

Beware! They billed me almost $100 for the insurance i told them i didn't want or need!!! After arriving past midnight they didn't have the car i reserved so they tried to have me pay extra for a higher class Not wanting to pay extra, they made me wait there while the agent went to speak to the manager. They finally got me a car but then "something went wrong" with the contract and amid the whole mess they slipped the insurance that the girl said i don't need (because i have my own private insurance) and that i told her i don't want, into the contract. My rental ended up costing almost twice the price. Then, upon returning the car, they wouldn't let me speak to a manager. Instead they had me fill out a complaint form and promised they'd contact me within 2 weeks Obviously i never heard from them. Read below to find multiple other ppl who they pulled this same scam on. Do Not Use!

I was surprised to see the rating as high as 3 stars. The agent, advertently or inadvertently, lied to us regarding insurance coverage on our rental. whether is was intentional or not doesn't much matter, he should have been trained correctly in either case. I talked to corporate on return home, I was told "too bad". Another lapse is that the agent did not advise me to call immediately to protest the double fee for coverage. Shame, Hiram!!!

The first flag was the fact that I waited almost an hour in line with 5 people behind the desk and then another 15 minutes with an incompetent representative. I've rented cars across the US and several times in Vegas, but never had an experience like this. That was strike one. Strike two was the fact that they tried to force insurance on me which would have doubled the price of the rental. I saw the resulting price and immediately demanded it be taken off. Strike three is now that I got my credit card charged, it apparently was charged for some liability insurance which increased my bill by almost $100. Budget is going to lose a ton of customers with this shady practice and I will be taking this as high as possible to see it's fixed and this charge is removed.

I have always had sour experiences with car rental companies in general but she definitely set herself apart from the rest and understood how my needs were important. Pleasant the whole way and always smiling—love her attitude! Also shoutout to the gentlemen on duty who assisted me on the issues I had with my rental. Your team at the Las Vegas Airport location is AMAZING! Thank you!

I have rented from Budget 5-10 times. Their service is mostly miss, including their "Fastbreak" program. Woman at the fast break window is continually unfriendly and will not apologize for any inconvenience nor will she give you any type of upgrade. They also have an awful policy where you have to show your receipt for gas if you drove 75 miles or less. Most gas stations in Las Vegas have broken receipt machines and going inside is way too inconvenient. If you are unfortunate enough to not utilize their Fastbreak program, you will be waiting for an extended period of time at the rental counter as they are always short staffed. Avoid even if it saves you money, your time is more valuable than dealing with this poorly run operation.

We recently just rented a car from this location and had the absolute worst experience. Our flight came inn at 12:30 a.m. and we wanted to make sure that it was an easy process so we paid in full for 2 Ford explorers or similar cars since we were traveling with a large party. When we got counter they had not only given our vehicle away but they were extremely rude about it. They wanted to give us a Hyundai Santa Fe and said it was the equivalent of a Ford explorer but the Ford explorer seats 7 people and the Hyundai Santa Fe seats 5 and was a cheaper car to rent. They didn't want to give us anything off and the man working behind the counter basically said either take it or don't take any car at all after an hour and a half trying to figure out what to do we finally said we would take the car and if they had the Ford explorer the next morning we would come back and pick it up. Now we have rented cars from all different locations many times, the man told my husband that in Nevada he had to pay for the extra insurance and we said no that our insurance company covers on rent-a-cars but he said in Nevada everybody has to have it. My husband unaware then paid the extra $200 4 the extra insurance. Once we found out we went back up to the counter and said we wanted it refund now it is 3:00 in the morning and we were traveling with two kids the man tells us that he never said it and that since we're calling him a liar he was going to cancel the car reservations all together after not having the vehicle that we paid in full for and then not discounting us for the cheaper car and then charging us an extra $200 which more than one person heard him say, he was going to cancel our reservations. The next morning when they were supposed to call us when they got vehicles in they never did so we went down there around 10 a.m. to see if they had any Ford explorers they did and we were able to exchange the two cars for the Ford explorer but as my husband got into the car another gentleman came up to him and said I believe you have my car they looked at the paperwork and sure enough they rented the same explorer out to two people at the same time! Needless to say, we will NEVER, NEVER use Budget rent a cars again and if I were you traveling to McCarran airport use a different Rent-a-Car company they were extremely unprofessional rude an outright obnoxious.

I called today to get information on renting a vehicle for the weekend. I kept having to call back because I wasn’t getting all the information on what they would ask for, if there was a deposit. If they would just take the time and explain these things then they wouldn’t have to be so impatient and have a lot of calls back. It’s called first call resolution. Patrice was rude both times that I had called.. the first time, she was like “is that it?!” And you could hear her sighing as if she didn’t want to explain anything which she didn’t. My last call, I ended it with a “Thank you” and she just hung up in my face. Disrespectful. If you don’t want to work your job. I will gladly take it from you.

Sadly we also had a negative experience. After reserving and pre paying for a ford explorer they told us all they had was a nissan frontier, then a 15 passenger van, we ended up with a nissan rogue and no price adjustment was made for a lesser vehicle. On top of that they hit us with the 28 dollar a day fee for the complete coverage insurance after telling us our full coverage insurance from Progressive didn't cover loss of use. We were hustled, lied to and taken advantage of. With it being the first day of our vacation and 3 hungry kids we had no choice but to comply. or be stuck without a rental. Karma will find each person working for Budget who does this to people. Bad deeds always come back to find you. I am now a former customer.

Made a reservation and got to the counter and women said it hasn't showed up. That we would have to wait this is at 12 am we showed her on our phones ask if she could just match it. She said no we had our 11 month old who just flew 5hrs from Florida. We walked over to enterprise explained our situation guy was very helpful and upgraded us and had better rate.

Very unorganized, really bad service, they closed the fastbreak counter half an hour than they should i.e. @11.30 pm instead of midnight 12am. When I asked them if I should use another counter they said since we closed early unfortunately I have to use regular queue. What is the point of taking all the trouble to register for fastbreak if the counter closes early?

Worst rental car pick up experience ever. Waited in a line of 10-15 customers as they were able to clear someone out about every 15 minutes on a Thursday night at 10pm. 4 or 5 counters open, but reps would just disappear and the process was well over 10 mins each. No idea why they were having so much trouble, but the manual walk back to the back room to check on a car didn't help matters. Will avoid if at all possible in the future. Costco should reevaluate their relationship with this location. Giving it 2 stars because the car was OK (Kia Soul for an intermediate car ?? ) and return was instant.

I like Budget car rental, just not in Las Vegas.I had a reservation that I verified because of it being a midnight flight. Yes, your car will be waiting. I arrived I was told no cars available, just take a Taxi. We will call you when car is available. Beware - Haven’t yet returned our van but I’m already dreading it. Pick up was slow & very unprofessional - for a prepaid rental - they tried very hard to get us to buy their extra insurance even after we made it clear we didn’t need it. I particularly hated the person who seemed like the manager lifting a piece of paper up over her mouth to clearly ‘talk’ to our clerk about our decisions she looked at us, & nodded, then smiled from behind her paper. I felt like I was buying a used car from a sleezy dealership! Afterwards- when we where finally done with the paperwork- I swear they intentionally made us walk around looking for our car and waste our time - with out giving us a parking place # and just a “oh go out to your left it’s ‘description’ parked right there with the keys in it”. Well, surprisingly, it wasn’t- we had to waste time looking then going to the kiosk in the lot to get a specific parking # spot. Maybe drop off will go great and I can add to this review with a silver lining... I hope I can!

I travel to Las Vegas frequently and rent a vehicle when here. Budget consistently slips in without making it clear their $28.99 daily insurance even when I make it perfectly clear that I have full coverage and choose to decline theirs. They will then still include it into the contract and quickly have you initial in hopes you won't notice it. Listen to your customers and stop pressuring them. Go with another rental car provider, I surely will.

The setup at this location is far from ideal. We had rented through Costco and there were two lines set up: one for Costco and one for everyone else. The problem was that the agents didn't call people up from both lines, leading to a ridiculously long Costco line and very short regular line. I waited over an hour before I was able to get to the desk, the line took longer than my actual flight. I felt bad for the staff since while they were courteous, the place seemed very unorganized and understaffed. Cars weren't ready for other customers, even for people on FastBreak. Other people were getting seriously angry waiting in line. This place needs major help. My pictures are from the waiting area in the garage but I was waiting in the rental center building.

Absolutely the most disorganized rude group of workers. They have made it nearly impossible ti resolve a simple flat tire. Got different answers from different departments and never call back any messages left. I had a great experience with Budget. Special thanks to Marcel who was fantastic. I waited in line to get my car. My opinion is, if you get a great deal on your car, which I did with budget prepay, chances are that others did too. For this reason expect a wait. It’s the ‘price’ of getting a great deal. If they had more staff, it would cost more to run their business and my cost would go up. Still, there were enough agents to cover the crowd but each rental takes some time. Thank you Marcel. When we called to extend rental they said it should be $250 for an extra day! Called the 1800 number and local office and nothing was resolved. The actual car and rental process were fine once I got one. Super clean car. One star because people were waiting an hour or more to pick up their rentals. The process was so slow and inefficient. I don't know what the problem was but waiting that long to pick up a car is crazy. After about 15 minutes in line without ot moving I figured out a shortcut by using their app and bypassed the line. If I had not done that I might still be in that ridiculous line.

Dishonest bait and switch operation. Bought the rental online. When I checked in, the rep added almost $100 of loss of use insurance to the cost without asking me. When I objected, he tried to color the insurance as required by Budget (it's not). Then they gave us a car with temporary license plates that were set to expire during the rental period. I have had plenty of good experiences with Budget. For whatever reason, this branch is not doing business right.

IPicked up a reservation at 1227am, they description they have is full size Malibu or Simular, we drive to hotel and sleep, next morning tlwe realize that the gave us a mid size car Jetta, called them and they say since we prepaid we have to keep it, I explained that we where not told that the car was being changed out, they said if they are out of the car we reserved that they get the next best model, I said next best model would not be a step down to a smaller car it would be next level up. Basically I was told nothing they could do. I travel alot and suggest that no one rents from such a shady set up.

This is the worst experience ever in our life with Budget car rental in Las Vegas international airport location on end of Nov. 2018. We are so disappointed with Ms. Beth’s customer service and so upset about how we be treated unfairly. We are the couple from Canada, first holiday trip to Las Vegas, had the reservation with budget through online application. That was our sixth time renting a car with Budget, which we were expecting to get the same and good customer service from previous experience. However, as a representative of Budget in Las Vegas international airport location, Ms. Beth didn’t offer any professional or friendly customer service to us, which definitely ruined our trip in Vegas. The situation was I booked the reservation with my husband’s driver license information online, but we have to put the matching name credit card to pay, which we totally understood. So we asked if it is possible to start a new booking in store with my driver license and my credit card information with the same online price deal. The representative refused to offer us the same deal and asked us to do a walk-in application which doubled the price comparing to the online deal. She suggested us go to another co-operate car rental company for better deal. but the result is the same, we treated as walk in client with high price. We did the online application again with new info and went back to Budget desk, which was an hour later. Ms. Beth was available at that time, but she didn’t take us until we asked if she can. She was with a poker face and gave us hard time about confirmation email even she just need scrolling down to next page for the confirmation code. It was pass 10pm and we spend 3 hours in the airport just want to rent a car. We were so tired and wished to finish the whole process as soon as possible. However, since the co-operate car rental representative directly walked into Ms. Beth’s counter, and talked to her with their own language, she was rude with us, gossiping with that representative using their own language in front of us. We were mad about her unprofessional customer service, so I interrupted them. Unfortunately, she said she is not talking to me and refused to serve me anymore. It was a whole mess even we got manager involved, which still didn’t change anything about those her attitude and wasted our lots of time for renting a car. She even did not give us any apologize. We have never be treated like that with any other customer service companies, and we feel so upset and disappointed.

Terrible car rental location. The cars that are picked up here can ONLY be driven to the 4 states (Nevada, California, Arizona and Utah). If your travel plans include other states, then you will be terribly disappointed as I was when I went here the other day. I had to pick up a car from a different car company and pay a higher price. To top it off, budget also charged me a 150$ cancellation fees!! Avoid BUDGET

BEWARE they will try to upsell 30$ daily insurance EVEN IF YOU HAVE ONE. If you have pre- paid rental car you are done my friend they will keep the the car ransom until you pay the insurance and will refuse to refund. I have spend litterly an hour at the counter until they gave up and accepted my insurance while making sure they didnt charge anything extra. I have been renting cars all over usa this has been the worst experience i have ever had. Apart from the horrible customer service the car provided was ok

If I could give negative stars I would. My husband book a car for a week on a site through work. $155 that was what we were told it would cost paying at counter. Get to the place, they added insurance and whatever other taxes and fees. $313 later we we're promised a $100 deductable back at return of car. We filled the tank, brought it back in perfect condition. I waited a week considering it was Easter weekend. Nothing was deducted from that amount, full amount cleared. Called and was rudely told that was the amount we owed blah blah blah. They have been reported to BBB for not only not sending us a copy in email form of what was owed when said they said they would, but for lying about taking a $100 security deposit and never returning it.

Booked my car with the customer after me, then the rep tried to "blame" us because we went to the wrong stall (Avis not Budget though there was a mustang in the same stall she gave us, honest mistake) and was mocking both of us. I recommend to never rent from this location. They have THEE worst customer service. This location is privately owned so they make up their own rules which are crazy. Joining the Fastbreak program is a waste of time because it promises you faster easier service and that is far from the truth. Only good thing about this location is the agent Mike. So if you have to rent from this location ask to only deal with him. After all the back and forth he at least was as helpful as he could be.

Bad customer service, I had my reservation ready prior to getting to Las vegas, I get to the airport at 1am and the woman who was at the reception was forcing insurance upon us and since we didn't want to shop insurance she said I don't have an 800 credit score so I can't purchase a rental through them. She also said she'd cancel my reservation, I come back home and check my account the charge was never taken care of. Ps. Went next door to Enterprise they didn't check my credit score, I was relieved to know there's a company that actually values their customers and won't hassle you over commission.

All I needed was to confirm my booking and evidently the very limited-skilled girl was too inept to do this.
