1 star is generous. With 40 minutes before their service department closes. Its pretty sad the a business can’t and is not willing to stay 15 minutes to 20 minutes late to help people who are traveling, especially a women and 3 children with no ac in a vehicle that is 500 mile away from home. If I owned the dealership I would be proud to have that guy in the service department work for me. The best is when he made the comment if you could have gotten here 45 minutes early we could have looked at it.

AVOID!!! Brought my car here to replace a transmission line and add transmission fluid. They call me back saying my transmission is blown and the car was unable to go in any gear and wouldn't move and "deemed unrepairable by his technician". Estimated price to repair was 5000! I wanted a second opinion and on picking up my car I started it up and it went into gear fine (even drove). They told me they had added transmission fluid because they have to in order to test the transmission. Upon taking it to another dealership in Grand Island they told me that there had been NO fluid in the transmission (so they lied and didn't check my tranny at all), and that it was (No joke) FINE!!! I ended up getting my transmission line replaced and fluid added (which I already knew) and VIOLA!! My car is running like brand new. I strongly urge anyone to avoid this company at all cost. I wish I could give a negative score. People like this are the reason mechanics get a bad reputation. I'm your average joe and $5000 is a crippling amount of money. So at the end of it all that $69.95 I payed them for diagnostics wasnt worth it. Swindlers. It was a $250 fix.

I really liked how they physically showed us the problem areas in my car rather than just telling me. I liked the estimate sheet that they gave me, it lets me know what I’m expecting to pay in the future. Normally, I would wait at least 2 hours for an oil change (rediculous), but in this dealership it was fast and easy!

This dealer NEVER ceases to amaze me! So long story short my wife and I traded in our daily driver and our “Summer Car” which BTW was a hard one to convince my wife on trading as it is her dream car in on a beautiful brand new 2019 GMC SLT 1500. The salespeople, the Desk Manager, the Finance Manager and the Parts Guy all made us both feel like we bought from a small town store with a big town discount! Almost like they knew us! Anyways.. We had less than 1000 miles on it and someone hit us at a local store here in McCook, Ne.. So I immediately called Mike at the collision center and sent a million pictures of the damage. BTW Almost 4K in damage as a hit and run! GRRRRRR! But none the less Mike and his team was off to the races and got me fixed up with a loaner car and the vehicle repaired. I am VERY OCD and I can’t even tell where they painted. Great Job to ALL at Midway GMC in Kearney, NE! Just one final tid bit.. All good people start from the greatness from their leaders or their superior guidance. So I thank the upper management also! Massive KUDDOS to Midway GMC, Kearney, NE and their staff! This is the local Chevy Dealer. They have a very nice service department with free wifi while you wait. Prices are competitive with third party mechanics. They have a nice selection of vehicles and if you buy here you get some perks, like free car washes.

While traveling from MN to Denver we had issues with our SUV. We decided to stop in Kearney and the fist repair shop off the interstate was Midway Chevrolet. The staff at Midway were very polite and eager to help us and get us back on our way. They were able to move around their scheduale and replaced out caddilatic converter in no time at all. We had a great experience. We'd been shopping for a few months and the staff was super great at letting us know when they had anything that might be of interest to our family. At one point they called about a car, but then called back the next day to let us know it wouldn't be available because it didn't pass their inspection process. THIS WAS HUGE to me. To know that they weren't comfortable selling something just to make a sale, and instead making sure we were offered a dependable vehicle. When we finally got out to visit and test drive the vehicle we eventually bought, the staff was amazing and kind. They even offered to wash our current vehicle free of charge, just because! The negotiation was simple and painless. We would buy from them again any time!

i would leave a review on yelp, but they're honestly a terrible joke, so going to give the review here and hope it helps the dealership. We live 520 miles from Kearney. The service was impeccable from the initial contact phone call, to the purchase of my Denali. They treated us as though we lived next door, and would see us frequently, despite the fact it was a 9 hour drive apart. When looking for a vehicle again, will definitely give them another opportunity!!

Every time I have my vehicles serviced, the staff is friendly, knows my name and who I am, keeps me informed on my service, gives me recommendations for my vehicles for future services needed and are timely in getting me in and out. The renovated building has extra amenities for charging cell phones if needed and beverages for while you wait. A+ service!!!

Bad service. Ridiculously expensive. Went to get my heat fixed, the front and back actuator needed replaced (among what they claimed was several other things requiring 36+ hours of labor and 5,000+ dollars) I could only afford to replace the front. Both blowers worked fine at the time. So 6 days and 500 dollars later my front blower conveniently goes out. I called and they said tough luck basically I could bring it back and they would fix it and charge me again. Mind you this was end of February in below zero conditions that me and my kids had to be in a car with no heat. I took it somewhere else and got the blower motor and the back actuator fixed plus an oil change that cost me less than 400 dollars.

The third brake light was not working properly on my 2017 GMC pickup. I scheduled a Saturday appointment, brought my Professional Grade pickup to Midway GMC to have the problem fixed. Within 1-hour the bad bulb had been replaced, and I was back on the road. As I have said in the past, if you want Professional Grade Service, you need to take your Professional Grade vehicle to Midway GMC. They are the Professional Grade GMC Dealership. Need I say anymore?

I like that I can use my credit on the chevy app but to wait more than an hour for an oil change is ridiculous. I live out of town and work nights so the last thing I want up have to do it wait so long for my car. Most other places get you in and out more quickly. Then let's hope they reconnect all your sensors before you leave town. If I didn't get money off of my service by using my vouchers, I probably wouldn't even step foot back in there. I have seen some reviews of people getting bigger work done to their vehicles in less time that must be nice. I make an appointment and it still takes me more then an hour everytime. My kids had dentist appointments finish before them before!

I was impressed how they came and picked up my pickup at work and then when I had a family emergency and had to leave out of town that day that they sent a shuttle to pick me up and got my pickup done quickly so that I could get on the road. They fixed it so that it runs like a dream now and that's what I needed done to it ever since I bought it from Midway Outlet about 2 years ago, but I didn't know it had a problem when I bought it as the 'Reduced Engine' happened once in awhile, but not all of the time, so when I test drove it and bought it that day, it ran fine. It's now fixed and its water under the bridge. Love my Chevy!!!
