My Ford van broke down during a cross country. Big Country Auto took care of me. The service manager Sylvia squeezed me into their schedule to help get me back on the road. They diagnosed the issue of a throttle bottle and repaired it by 1PM. I really appreciate the service.

Buyer beware!! The lack of professionalism and forthright dealing shown by this dealership was astounding. They clearly demonstrated they would rather make a quick dollar than a possible customer for life. Ford Motors should be ashamed at the way this dealership represents their brand. @Ford And yes I can provide exact details of how senior managers handled the situation poorly. From reneging on a deal, to their lack of communication, to misrepresenting facts surrounding the situation so they could feel better about backing out to make a better deal elsewhere. It's dealerships like this, and examples from their senior leaders, that give the auto sales profession a bad name. It truly takes a lot for me to leave negative feedback on any business, so if you take any of this to heart, don't hesitate and take your money elsewhere.

we had looked at a jeep liberty, and there was some work that needed to be done on it and they were not going to cash the check until it was done, because there was a possibility that it would be to expensive to fix. Come to find out three days later, that they tried cashing it. We will never be going there again. You don't just go and cash a check that you'd say you'd wait to cash. Our salesman was completely rude. He was not people friendly. (2017)- Norfolk Also went in just to look a few weeks ago. (2018- Madison) I called the lady to say I didn't want to do anything right away. She was very pushy & then she got very defensive & hung up. Will definately never return. Very unprofessional

So randomly I check my credit, Some weird inquiry shows on my credit showing that my credit has been ran without any written premissions I call and leave many voicemails and then when I finally spoke with someone. I was told that sometimes SSN can be messed up or entered in the system by mistake. They admit to it being their error but don't do anything to help contact anyone to have this taken care of and corrected. Very VERY! unprofession & fruad.

I had to call to try to get information about my application and was informed by the MANAGER that he has been too busy. He constantly interrupted me and then told me to take my business elsewhere and hung up on me. So now not even week later another individual named Mitch called me after seeing my original Google review to try and rectify the situation. So he proceeded to interrupt me just like the manager had. Clearly not looking to fix anything. Then he proceeded to inform me I had bad credit which I had told the manager that before I even had him do an application. Upon telling the manager this I was told my "credit would not be an issue" just my income. Now they are throwing my already difficult situation in my face. As he continued to interrupt me he then told me that my joint applicant's repossessions were my fault. Apparently (as the manager had previously told me) there are only 7 guys working there. STAY AWAY FROM JIM(the manager) and MITCH!!!! Clearly customer service is NOT their priority!!!

Review for Madison location: They are lucky to get 1 star from us. Only reason for the 1 star is because when we first got there we were dealing with Mitch and he was a decent guy, a little pushy. But then Tony got involved and he was extremely arrogant, rude, very pushy and just down right unprofessional. Their finance guy is also extremely rude. He kept throwing a fit over what we said we could afford for payments and it was extremely unprofessional that while dealing with all our personal financial information he had several people sitting in his office. The whole sales team was just unprofessional. They were extremely pushy and couldnt take no for an answer. We will not recommend them to anyone we know. Good luck if you chose to deal with them!

Big Country Auto, is worth the trip for car shopping. I actually do enjoy the selection they have here and the staff isn't pushy, which most dealerships are. Baxter motors which is a competitor is a rip off. I was scammed at a Baxter on their different service warranty deals, as well as scammed at Anderson motors in Lincoln, both of which can NOT compete with Big Country. I feel as though there is a big opportunity here in Nebraska for more big country auto group stores to go in. I went in and looked at some ford pickups and would rather buy a ford truck than a dodge, as there is a reason why they call them a dodge, as in dodge that truck! If you buy a Ford truck do NOT buy it in a 6.0L, biggest mistake you will ever make. If you buy it in the next size up, its worth your while and you can not go wrong. 6.0s break down very fast at low miles and are not worth it. Even though I did not buy my 6.0 here, I should have took the advice of the salesman and took the next size up. Wished i had done such. But most people feel dealers are dishonest, which this place they really aren't that.

Don't give them your phone number if you don't buy a car from them when shopping around. They will call you constantly. And be sure to mention not to run your credit app a million times and destroy your credit. Otherwise they have a low selection of high priced vehicles.
