I usually rent from companies located in the airport, but all rental cars were sold out. I booked Dollar rental car, which I did not know it existed until recently. Staffs were all nice and helpful. I was very satisfied with the car I received. Value 5/5. Service 5/5. Dollar picks you up at the airport and take you to their office. When you are done with the car, you can drop it off at the designated spot, which is very easy and convenient.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Great price on our car for the next 5 days. Off airport, so you need make sure you call for the shuttle, as I don't think it runs regularly.

Had a great time renting from Dollar for 3 days in Kalispell. As we arrived at the airport, a very friendly man had a sign with our names on it and drove us from there to the actual Dollar rental location (about 2 miles down the road). We didn't have to call anyone; they just waited for us based on arrival time. Pros: - Car ready to go the moment we arrived. Clean, fuel full. - Speedy check out, 1 min and we were ready to go. - Speedy return. They just took the keys back and drove us back to the airport so there was no delay. - The most important: this was the only rental company that didn't cap the miles and charge for extra miles!! Not saying things won't change in the future, but before signing anything in Kalispell (or anywhere, actually), be sure that you have unlimited miles if that's what you need. It'd be horrible to have a surcharge because you didn't know. I checked Hertz and Avis at the Kalispell location, and they both capped the miles. Dollar was the only one that didn't (Enterprise sold out on our day so I can't say). Cons: none!

It is a great place to get a rental on a budget, lots of subarus, last time i got an outback, this time i got a nissan sentra. I always pick managers choice but that is because i dont worry to much about what car it is. The sentra is not my favorite car to drive but its better that public transit

Worst place to rent a vehicle. Reserved a car a week in advance. Showed up on time (8pm) and no one was there. I called them and the gentleman asked me how I got to the rental agency. I told him I was dropped off. He said no new flights had landed so he didn't expect anyone to show up. Apparently renting a vehicle here only makes sense if you schedule during airport arrivals.

Reserved my car two weeks in advance, the day before my reservation I receive a phone call informing me my pick up time is too early. In addition the representative that called was extremely rude with his questions and tone of voice. He also informed me if I didn't currently carry full coverage insurance that I was not allowed to rent. I have rented before, not with this company, and never had an issue. He informed me he was "surprised I was allowed to rent a car from anyone" (I have always paid for the additional insurance, it's better to be safe than sorry) My reservation price was under $100 for a one day (24 rental) however, with having to purchase their full coverage insurance, and the "additional taxes" it was going to cost well into the $300 range. I also received very snide and rude explanation about how to tell the difference between a credit card and a debit card. I know the difference, I have several of each! I was extremely insulted by this phone call and the way I was treated by the representative of Dollar Rental Car! The representative further stated prior to hanging up on me that he was canceling my reservation!!! It was 6pm, the night before I needed a rental at 7am!! I quickly was able to find a more reasonable rental through the same agency I rented from before without hassle. Customer service was always pleasant at Alamo/Enterprise. Although a tad bit more spendy, it is worth it. I will never recommend Dollar Rental Car to anyone after the way I was treated!!
