I would definitely use Campervan North America again! While planning our weeklong vacation to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons we didn't want to be tied to expensive hotel reservations, in specific locations (what if we wanted to keep going or explore another day before moving on?). We knew there had to be another way. While searching for options, we stumbled across Campervan North America. I called the number and chatted with an amazing sales person, who we later learned was the person in charge - Kathy. She was friendly, knowledgeable and fun! She answered all of our questions (and I asked a lot, multiple times). We ended up renting the Treasure Chaser van. It was perfect. We went outside the park every night (we're self-appointed explorers) and it only cost us $100 in diesel for the week. Some of the campsites were as cheap as $7/night (Kathy had great recommendations). We had a big bed, kitchenette, stove/heater (for those cold nights), mini fridge w/ freezer (that conveniently held a fifth of whiskey) and HOT water. It was perfect. We went wherever we wanted (it's smaller than a full size pickup). The van was definitely a huge part of making our vacation extremely memorable. Kathy and her team did a great job of covering everything when we picked the van up! We flew into the Bozeman, MT airport and stayed at a nearby hotel. They picked us up and even dropped us off at the airport after we returned the van!!! Things I would definitely rent from them: kitchen set-up (plates, pots, utensils, glasses and coffee pot - it came with a wine opener

We hired Edelweiss for a week to explore Grand Teton and Yellowstone. It was such a wonderful way of exploring the national parks - great value, had everything we needed and let us wake up in some stunning locations. Customer service is fantastic too. Would 100% recommend!

A friend from college and I rented a campervan to take all over the Pacific Northwest for Memorial Day Weekend. We had an INCREDIBLE experience with Campervan North America. The customer service was great, the prices were excellent and our van was brand new with only 2,600 miles when we got into it with awesome fuel mileage so we didn't have to spend a fortune on gas. Something fell through with the Edelweiss we had reserved and we had expressed a desire to get on the road earlier so Jay and the team at headquarters made certain there was a van ready for us, upgrading us to the perfect vehicle. We got compliments all along the way and had several people at campsites stop to ask us about our van! We definitely will rent from Campervan North America again! Thank you for such a memorable vacation! :)

We fell in love with our campervan!! Everyone was so friendly from the moment we picked it up till they gave us a ride back to the airport. The best thing about campervans is that you have access everywhere at Yellowstone like a regular car. Strongly recommend it.

I rented the Edelweiss. It was just me so it worked great. It might not be great if there were 2 big people though. The service was more than should be expected. Very pleased and recommend this company.

We had an OUTSTANDING experience with Campervan North America! We were 1) keen to have a great outdoor experience in the Glacier Park area, 2) being mildly wimpy wanted to glamp, rather than camp, 3) very keen to get insight into the sprinter van lifestyle but 4) not keen on spending $5k+/wk for some of the decked out sprinter vans. Campervan North America hit all of our requirements. Tom and Kathy were incredibly pleasant to deal with and very helpful. We rented the Bunkhouse to sleep two 50+ year old parents and two teenage girls. We got two 500 mile packages (returned it with about 10 miles to go), kitchen gear (propane tank, two burners, plates et al for 4), and sleeping bags. Blackout screens for windows were included and would have been dark enough to develop film (dating myself?) except didn't cover the very useful (really! both for venting and for white noise (birds in the morning are VERY noisy) ceiling fan. The van did not have running water, but between 5g water jug (part of kitchen set up) and facilities at national park camping facilities, was not a problem at all. Roughly speaking was about $200/night for both car, lodging and gear (not including gas which was about 16mpg x 985m = about $160) - compare that to a rental car and lodges and it was a great deal. We stayed a few nights in Glacier's classic lodges - were to do it again, would stop by for a meal, but probably stay in van for the night and save the money - lodges are more expensive, louder (very thin walls), and not much better in facilities outside of the very pleasant public spaces. Van was a great way to camp - nice balance between not having to fold up a dew covered tent, nor isolated in a mega-RV. Sleeping was comfortable for the four of us. Girls had privacy screens for their bunks to give them their space, we rigged up a privacy screen for driver seats so I could read in the morning before the rest of the crew arose. At 19' was allowed anywhere in Glacier (over 21' and can be curtailed), and still easy for a novice van driver to maneuver. Strongly recommend Campervan North America. Really enjoyed the experience and very pleasant/helpful service.

Very good customer service, willing to give rides to/from airport. Not price competitive with Escape campervans, especially since they nickel and dime you for stove, miles, bedding, etc. But they threw in a stove and cooler without charge for us. We got the Edelweiss, it was small and cramped, should have gotten the bigger one, but it worked ok.

I had a great experience, would highly recommend. I rented the Eidelweiss for 4 nights to take into Yosemite. The campervan America folks met me according to when my flight arrived (and several days later, really early when I was leaving). They outfitted the van with warm bedding, a camp stove, propane, a cooler, and even bear spray. It had me pretty well covered for all of my cooking. The van itself drove great and gave me no problems. I'd recommend bringing an 1/8" aux cord to connect some tunes. Overall: super convenient, flexible and friendly staff, money well spent.

Great Concept for someone who wants to unplug and see the country

I decided to do an adventurous 10 day vacation to Yellowstone and Grand Teton with my sons and invited my friend and her youngest along. I needed an easy way to travel but wanted to "rough it" at the same time. We have two scouts among us, so we figured staying at campsites would be more fun than a hotel for the boys (plus cheaper). Kathy at Campervan was awesome. She answered all my questions and reassured me that we would be fine. Everything about caring for the van was explained to us. I think in total we spent about $200 in deisel, and that was with a side trip to Cody, WY to see that annual Plains Indian pow wow and visit the Buffalo Bill Cody museum. She even let us borrow bear spray so we didn't have to buy it. Thank god because during a hike on our last day we had a very close encounter with a black bear, we didn't need the spray but I was grateful it was in my hand! We had an incredible experience. Once we got back to Belgrade, my son played catch with her son as we were unloading the van, then Kathy gave us a ride to the airport in the van. She is super sweet. Thanks Kathy and staff for making our vacation memorable!!

We rented the Bunkhouse for our family (2 adults, 2 boys under 6) and it was fantastic. Very roomy and comfortable. We all slept well, had plenty of storage for all of our fishing gear, and other extras (camping chairs/coolers/stove and propane tank, etc). The van experience is great - we had total freedom to explore the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Kathy was fabulous, great customer service, really couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will definitely rent from Campervan NA again, and can highly recommend the company.
