Our Dodge 5500 Cummins work truck sat outside of Moberly Motors for 2.5 months while they "worked on it" so they said. This is the worst business I've seen operate ever. I went in to talk to them to see how it was going, and Dave (the fat one, there are two) at the desk, just sat there and couldn't answer a single question; talk about customer service, I feel like a monkey with an egg beater on his head could do Dave's job better. They put new tires on the truck we didn't ask for. We had an ELECTRICAL problem not a tire problem. We took the truck to Capitol Chrysler in Jefferson City and in 1 week! Yes, 1 week; not 2.5 months, they had it fixed. Safe to say Moberly Motors will never see this truck again! They weren't even smart enough to fix the factory recalls on the truck. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY with this joke of a business. If you can't fix a problem, be straight forward about it. Anyhow, Capital Chrysler has an amazing diesel mechanic, take your business there. You'll thank yourself later. I promise.

Moberly Motor Company made my day on a Monday morning. I love their fast track lane! It was moving day and the movers were ready. My car needed a new battery. After getting the movers started I went in search for someone replace my battery quickly and was happy when my first stop was so accommodating. In 30 minutes they had me on my way. Cost was right and service was over the top good with even the car clock reset!

Car dealers are quick to make a sale, but the customer relations manager, Jayme Clevenger, was so quick to answer my questions and get me what I NEEDED! She was fantastic to talk to, very real, appropriate, and worked to get me answers quicker than I expected. If you have any problems, she’s the lady to talk to! She creates relationships instead of closing sales. Come back a year later and bring them another client after, Weston tells me to come in to see about refinancing. Weston’s excuse for having me drive 2 hours was that, “I called while he was swamped.” So instead of answering my questions on the phone or telling me I only needed to drive to Columbia, 2 hours for a waste of my time.

Super fast service!! I had an oil change, tire rotation, and inspection in 20 minutes! Everyone was friendly and nice and even talked to my 5 year old and made sure she had a nice time to. The new waiting area is so nice. Lots of toys for kids, a coffee maker that can also work for tea or hot chocolate, and a large TV with comfortable chairs. There's even some desks with electric outlets if you need to plug in your laptop or phone. They also have free wifi.

I was really impressed with the body shop. They did an awesome job repairing my car. Worked with my insurance company to cover repairs and parts the appraiser originally missed. Set me up with a good rental car ahead of time so I could get around while my car was in the shop. I was super pleased when an employee made time for a quick adjustment on my dented door so I could easily open and close it, even before the scheduled repairs were to start. He reattached my hanging license plate so I would not lose it. Excellent customer service. Would highly recommend to everyone.

While on a 425 mile trip a dash light came on indicating a problem with the tires. We were approaching Moberly, Missouri and while we weren’t driving a Ford we stopped at Moberly Motors, hoping they could help. They went out of their way to have the Service Dept check the vehicle over quickly as we had explained we had a long drive ahead of us. They diagnosed the problem as overinflated tires, adjusted them and had us on our way in less than an hour. And they refused to charge us for this! Amy and everyone else in the Service Dept were absolutely fantastic in helping us salvage our trip! We highly recommend them!

I had to have my farm truck towed to Moberly Motors due to a transmission problem. Unfortunately there were delays in getting the truck inspected and work performed. I contacted the owner Dean Miller. Dean and his team explained that a series of health and illness issues had affected his staffing. As a small business owner I completely understand that things like this happen. Sometimes bad things happen, but Dean and his staff pulled out all of the stops and professionally assessed the problem and fixed the vehicle quickly. Often when businesses experience a problem they do nothing to correct it. Dean and his team went above and beyond to ensure that the vehicle was fixed quickly and to ensure that I was completely satisfied. That is what sets this business apart from others! Roxanne, the Service Department Manager was professional, personable and friendly. She too made the experience pleasant and clearly cares about her customers even after 26 years of working there. I would highly recommend this dealership for their courtesy, integrity and professionalism. Great job of turning a bad situation into a great experience!

Lies and lies. Was there to buy a new car only 1 of them on the lot, told we could go home and they would call us asap soon as the loan approval came through and the car we wanted would be moved to the back and held for us. The next day we called in and they forgot to call and tell us we was approved but we needed money down. Even though we are trading in a fairly new vehicle towards the new one. A few minutes later we were in moberly and someone else was driving our car were wanted that we were told would be held. How interesting, not even 24 hours later not like it was weeks later. What a joke dealership. Beware of the snakes.

The service staff was courteous, and the work was done in a timely manner. I was told that, in addition to tires, I needed a passenger-side lower ball joint. I was surprised to see that the part cost nearly $200. When I got home and looked under the vehicle I found that the entire lower control arm had been replaced. That explained the $200 part instead of a $30 ball joint. I do not understand why the lower control arm was replaced; an explanation would have been welcome.

Our experiences have been top notch. It time is not right for us to buy a new vehicle but we have rented several times from Moberly Motors and they have always been extremely helpful. They have made it so easy from the reserving a vehicle to pick-up. They have it ready and pulled up right by the door just waiting for our arrival - knowing that our time is precious. The vehicles they have provided us have been outstanding with no problems at all. The staff has even taken note of why we rented the vehicle - this latest time was for a family vacation - they had something in the vehicle for our kiddos to take on the vacation with them! We will be returning again soon - and when the time is right this will be where we purchase our next vehicle.

I found a used car online as I was out of state, Jayme at Moberly was extremely helpful and quick with her conversations and answered all my questions. I drove from Chicago to pick up the car, and it was not exactly what they had promised. My sales man Buddy Smith had no idea about the car. Their 100 point check was a scam and totally inaccurate. The things that they said passed their check did not work (e.g sunroof, glove box did not close). Car had no damage reported on Carfax, but the driver side was entirely painted, while driver side fender was changed. Mechanically the car was very strong, and they gave me a decent price. If you know your car, then only get a used car from them, and please don’t trust their 100 point inspection.

This was probably the best car buying experience we’ve ever had. We drove from St Louis to check out a truck we had seen on the Autotrader app. The truck was in the exact condition as advertised. There was no pressure to upsell us to a newer or more expensive vehicle. Calvin went above & beyond to please us. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from Moberly Motors again. After each they would ask my likes and dislikes and guide me towards a different vehicle until I found one that was perfect. I think I tried about a dozen different vehicles and they were very patient in the process. I love my new Taurus...color...fit...features...you name it. Making car buying easy is what Moberly Motors is all about.

Heater core started leaking in my 2002 Lincoln Navigator. Contacted the service department who ordered the necessary heater core and scheduled the installation. This is a lengthy installation which takes 8 hours. Install was completed and I was notified. Service bill was very close to quoted cost.

Difference between night and day from the last time we purchased a vehicle at a different dealership. That was a 6 hour process.

Wondering why the offer free car wash with service ofor vehicle. It seems selective who the offer this to. Neither my wife or myself have been offered this.

Absolutely disgusted with the phone call i had with a parts technician. After inquiring about 2 different parts, neither of which were in stock, he informed me he needed payment in order to order them. Which was not a problem at all, however he then informed me that they were non returnable after the order was placed. I inquired what if the part they ordered was wrong? To which he replied very rudely that, it wouldn't be his fault so i would have to keep it. Certainly will not be buying parts or vehicles from a company that allows customers to be treated this way. Not the first time i have had parts issues with this certain individual. But I assure you it will be the last.

Moberly Motors is the best. I dropped off my Edge at 1:15 or so to have them change the oil and give everything a once over (hoses, fluids, tires, etc). I got back to work about 2:15 and my vehicle was at my work and they had graciously washed it!!! I took my 2011 ford fusion in cor an oil change and tire rotation last week, around November 1st or 2nd. I was advised they could not rotate the tires due to my lug nuts being rounded, and they could not get them off. They did the oil change and called me to say "You have a significant oil leak." They put a dye in my oil and told me to drive it for 1 week. Okay, during the week, I have had no oil in my driveway nor my parking spot at work. Dropped off the vehicle yesterday for them to replace lug nuts and replace front brake pads, and resurface my front rotors. So far, so good. What I was appalled at it that they did not even have the decency to wash my vehicle after spending $310.00. Service told me that they only wash Lincoln vehicles. I have been in customer service all of my life, 45 now. I know what customer service is and Ford/Lincoln needs to send all of their employees to customer service training. Service people at their brand new dealership sitting and eating McDonald's in front of customers. Come on folks. Does anyone know what professionalism is anymore. I was completely dissatisfied with the service received today and am seriously contemplating not returning to their place of business.
