Not only were the facilities run down and in need of maintenance, but the staff seemed uninterested in customers. The customer service definitely needs work. If you take a job in an industry that deals with customers you should at least pretend to care. The staff here lacked tact and seemed like they were just there told hold a spot.

Really horrible customer service, reserved a car and went to use a card in my husbands name. They denied us using it and we had no ride back to our vehicle...and no rental for our trip!

Hertz is great, esp this location, they are knowledgeable and helpful. Hertz is absolutely the best price when pickup and drop off locations are different.

The team @ Hertz in Downingtown always do a great job. Have rented from this location for the past 5 years and the cars are always clean and in great shape. Would highly recommend them for all of your car rental needs.

Scheduled to pick up a car on a Saturday, only to find a hand written note on the door that they no longer have Saturday hours and to contact the West Chester location. Should have gotten a courtesy call to notify of the new office hours. Lost 1 1/2 hours to get started on my road trip because I had to drive to West Chester to pick up the rental.

I have dealt with this location regularly for the past two years or so and I have had exceptional service. They are quick to get you in and on your way. I would recommend Hertz to anyone who asks. They always have a nice selection of cars to chose from at anytime.

Pleasantly surprised about my recent rental experience. The agent picked me up from my home on time. The office transactions were handled efficiently. The car was clean and performed well. I would rent from this location again.

We have found Hertz helpful or cooperative when it is at an airport. Within our own communities of Santa Cruz and Gilroy, customer service is sometimes lacking. For example, we ordered our car a month in advance at our local Hertz but it was not even on the lot the day of our trip so we were an hour late starting our trip. Same thing last year at the Hertz in Capitola.
