We recently purchased a new SUV from Levi Florek and had a great buying experience. All of our previous buying experiences were terrible, so we weren't looking forward to buying another new car. Levi listened to what we wanted, offered valuable insight, and made a deal we felt good with. He ended up finding the SUV that fit our needs at another dealership and had the car transferred the next day, washed with a full tank, and parked inside. Over priced vehicles, no room for negotiation, poor trade in estimates, use all the worst used car sales tatics. Best to go elsewhere... buyer be ware! Also once they have your phone number expect lots of follow-up calls...and text messages.

I had them service my car last week. I had a couple of things fixed that were covered under my warranty. I was surprised at how easy it was to get warranty related repairs covered by Honda. They washed my car and gave me coffee. The Honda dealership where I used to go washed and vacuumed when the car was serviced, Crown only washes it.

Made an appointment to have a smart key programmed and two keys cut. The person I spoke with said it would take about 1/2 hour. After waiting over 90 minutes I got the smart key back minus the keys cut. Back to waiting. Took over 2 hours for something that should have taken 30 minutes. Not impressed.

Being recently widowed I felt the need for a more reliable vehicle. I went to Crown because I had dealt with them before. We all know the stories about unscrupulous car dealers and so I was cautious to say the least. It was the first car I had bought by myself. I found Crown to be very understanding and not pushy at all. They helped me find the right vehicle and made me a good deal. I would definitely recommend them to all. My salesman was Taylor. Look him up and tell him I said hi.

To preface this review I would like to note this isn't a reflection of the dealership as a whole but mostly the service department. In late 2017 I purchased a car from the Crown Motors Wholesale Outlet, it was stated on paper that the car had passed a full safety check from the Crown Motors service department. Roughly 2-3 months after driving my vehicle I took my vehicle into the Volvo dealership to get the 90,000 mile services done early (I had driven the car all of less than 2000 miles at this point). As I was waiting for my vehicle the service manager came and got me to show me a few things on my car. First he showed me that the front tires were worn unevenly so bad that the inner section of the tire was almost completely corded while the outside was 50% tread. He then showed me that my front ball joints were completely blown out as well as my front left axle was missing the axle bolt to hold it in place. So now a car that was stated on paper to have passed a safety inspection could quite literally have killed me on the highway. I came into Crown Motors to get these issues addressed, the car needed 4 new tires now because it is AWD, 2 front ball joints, and an alignment. I had to argue with the service manager for roughly a week because they wanted to cheap out and buy non OEM parts to fix their mistake and I ended up having to pay for the rear tires because they no longer make identical front tires. About 3 weeks later my car was done and I reluctantly paid my bill (in which they marked up the price of my tires, so I again had to argue with them to give them to me at cost because it was the right thing to do) and picked up my vehicle. I made the mistake of not visually inspecting the car for any damage upon picking it up, but I also assumed a dealership with such a high status would own up to their mistakes. I guess I was wrong each time, every single one of the wheels on my car looked like they had been scrapped with a tire mounting tool by some amateur tire technician or something. Upon noticing the damage I immediately contacted the service manager via email with picture proof of the damage done to my wheels (it was visually unmistakably done by a machine or some kind). I was told that they would offer $50 for every wheel that they damaged. to the toll of $200 I couldn't even buy a single OEM replacement wheel, they then offered to have them refinished by a guy who was a "trusted wheel re finisher". At this point I had lost all confidence in this dealership to be transparent and I had certainly lost all trust in them to do the right thing without having to show them what exactly that would be. That vehicle is now long gone and has been sold, I want everybody to read this review to know that while the majority of these reviews are positive if you are the one unlucky customer that they decide to screw over again and again you will regret ever have even stepping foot into their building let alone doing business with them. TLDR: Crown Motors has a way of trying to cut corners on everything, they're dishonest and downright unethical. Avoid this business if you can, I'm not the only one with a terrible experience with this business nor will I be the last.

Professional. considerate and accommodating! That's how I would describe my experience at Crown Motors. Being my first time in buying a car, I was very nervous and inexperienced, but Crown Motors made it as easy to me as buying a potato from a grocery store. Each one of them in the team - The Sales Representative, The Finance Manager and the others were very very kind and patient and saw to it that I get the car that matches perfectly with my expectations. It was a wonderful experience doing business with them and I would definitely recommend others to go visit them before making any purchase.

I brought in my 2009 mazda 6 for two recalls I had one of my doors came open with my 10 year daughter in the car the screws came out of the latch and the door opened which was one of the recalls I brought the car in for the recall they were supposed to replace all the door latches Instead they added locktite to the screws and never replaced the door latches like they promised I was Mechanic for years I had told them that my handle on the outside of the door wasn't working because the connecting rod had came off I figured when they replaced the door latches they could reconnect it for me I picked up my car and noticed the door still wouldn't open so I took the door panel off noticing it was never removed Now keep in mind to replace doors latches you got to remove the door panels to get the latches out and that never happened they basically put my family at risk and I will never go back there again or recommend anybody else to go there again If you can't hold up to doing the work your supposed to do you shouldn't be in business

I was not impressed with Crown for many reasons. I purchased a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country while expecting my second child, and one very important requirement was that the vehicle had to have air conditioning which I had made very clear with the salesman Tony for my children. I was assured that the vehicle was in excellent condition minus a few minor rust spots. I purchased the vehicle when it was still pretty cool outside, however just within a couple of weeks the temps were in the 80's and I went to turn on the ac and nothing but hot air! I went back and fourth with Crown for almost a year on this issue and I am left stuck with a very expensive repair. They did a recharge to the system to find the leak, it lasted for a little over two months and slowly became warmer and warmer in the vehicle. Crown claimed that the ac was in complete working order when it was sold to me, however I had a reputable mechanic take a look at the vehicle and was told that the part that is bad has a very slow leak and could not have gone from working order to not working in the short time I had it. Which made sense since the recharge lasted for me a couple of months. I had purchased another vehicle in the winter from Crown further back in 2011, and guess what? No ac on that car either. I made a huge mistake returning to them and giving them my business after the first car, that will not happen again. I am glad others had a better experience than I did.

Husband went to look at a town and country van they had for sale, they wouldnt budge on the price, whatsoever, the finance guy kept pressuring my husband to put a deposit on the vehicle, which my husband clearly stated he didnt want to do that at this time, but their finance guy continued to press the issue several times after that. So then since they didnt want to budge on their price we asked if they would throw in a full tank of gas. Salesman said they put a half a tank in it so my husband could test drive it. If we decided to buy it, that was the best they could do. But included that if other people came into test drive it before we signed paperwork then there was nothing he could do about that, we would get the vehicle with whatever gas was left in it. I keep reading reviews that say you strive for customer excellence. Seems to me you guys strive more for money in your pockets than you do for customer excellence. Being the holiday season, you would think you would be a little more giving. I am not asking for a steal, just a couple hundred off the price, or a full tank of gas! I dont think that is too much to ask for especially if you want my business in the future!

Brought in my Toyota Carolla 2004 for a recall. Negatives: -I had an appointment at 10:00am, and the repair was listed as taking an hour and 10 minutes. Didn't get it back until 5:00pm. Positives: -They were willing to send out a shuttle to pick me up in the evening, even though I live 16 minutes away. -They installed a splash guard replacement (one that I had previously bought, but never got around to installing myself) free of charge. Overall, I am very satisfied with the service I recieved, and how I was treated. I'm happy to have that part fixed. As with all reviews, I think the experience highly depends on the people you work with, but from my limited experience, I am happy to give them my full recommendation.

Mitch took great care of us through the purchasing process when buying our TDi. He was super busy on the day we came in but made sure we were well taken care of. He made sure the car was in good condition and took care of a couple requests we had on the car before purchase. I got connected with one person by researching cars for my wife. I clearly stated two items after noting the exact make/model I was interested in: best price and no shenanigans. Having already looked at a few local dealers, I just wanted to show up and buy the car. One person said ok, no problem by email. Then someone else sent me a text. A third person, the manager, then contacted me. Shenanigans. Seems to me this team doesn't know what other people on the team are doing, and I do not have time or patience for games. So we went somewhere else and did what I said I would do - showed up and bought it. If you enjoy people who will scramble over each other to contact you, this might be the place to go. I prefer to deal with professionals.

The minute I walked into the dealership, I felt welcomed.Having a receptionist directly in sight when the customer enters the door is very nice. Having said receptionist ready and willing to help is even better. There is a laid back approach the employees seem to have there, which is a plus in my book. I bought a 2011 Chevy Cruze from Rod, and his approach seemed to be perfect for me. He knew what his vehicle had, and wasn't too pushy. Rather, he let me figure out that his vehicle was the best for me. With Rod, it wasn't just about the car; he cared about who I was, as a person. He made sure I felt comfortable whenever I was around him, a sentiment which is priceless and works time and time again. He cares about the people as people first, and then as customers. He took the time to answer all of my questions, which I had plenty of. And, when he wasn't absolutely sure of the answer, he wasn't embarrassed to ask someone who was sure of the answer; humility at it's finest. I would highly recommend going to Crown Motors to anyone interested in a new or used car, and specifically seeing Rod.

Those dealers would not even return calls and still haven't. No need to buy locally when Crown can deliver the vehicle with the best price and service right to your front door. Wow! I've been avoiding the dealer for both of our Honda Accords for years, always under the assumption that we'd get better prices at competing local tire and oil change stores. We had to take the 2003 in for some tire cupping that I was afraid was caused by the tire store not knowing how to set the proper rear alignment. When all was said and done, we were in and out very fast, the people were professional and nice, the waiting area spotless, and the car got a wash. That was a wonderful unexpected nice touch! The price was actually less than if I had gone to other tire and oil chain outfits. We'll be back for sure!

During the test drive of my 2008 Honda Accord, the salesperson and I noticed a rattle in the rear of the car. The salesperson, Lee (Edson?), promised my wife and me that if we were to buy the car, they would have it fixed before we picked it up. Some time after purchasing the car while I was driving it, I noticed the exact same rattle. When I called to report it, Lee said that because we purchased the car so quickly, they didn't have time to fix the rattle- which is a direct contradiction to what was promised before purchase. Issue 2: A month after selling Crown Motors our 2012 Hyundai Genesis, I received a phone call at my place of employment. This call was from a prospective buyer of the car, who had some questions about the vehicle's history. (Let it be noted that I never approved the release of any of my personal information to Crown for any purpose). After talking with me on the phone for 5 minutes, the man interested in the car decided to purchase the car. I called Crown and talked to Lee about this. He talked to the man who sold the Hyundai, who has been in the business for 23 years, and assured me that they would never have released that information without contacting me first. This, to me, seemed suspicious, as we were sure to remove all documents and effects containing personal information from the vehicle before selling it to Crown. On the same note, after surfacing this 'confidentiality conflict', I looked into the glove box of the 08 Accord to find all the personal information of the previous owner- name and home address, showing that they are not taking any reasonable measures to ensure the safety and privacy of previous vehicle owners.

I felt like I was taken care of. the work was done in a reasonable time that far exceeded my expectations. if I may add...i think the writer was great and the technician should get a raise for all the hard work that the tech had to do. often everyone do not see or recognize the guy behind the wall in the far back of the building. these are the guys that do the hard physical labor to keep all our vehicle running.

Crown Motors does not provide everyone the same service. I was disappointed to find they do not fully inspect there used cars as they advertise. "We change the oil" is what I was told, only to get a quote for $900.00 of service needed after one week. :( I recommend asking for the documentation on the service they did to your new purchase. They do not disclose what they know is wrong with your purchase util you are closing the deal, including any recalls on your vehicle. This is bad practice. They will try to up sell you on everything, but don't take the time to tell you how to use the service you purchase. I am still waiting for a return call on regarding the service my vehicle needs. I would shop else where for my next purchase. I did not get the service I that I expected from Crown. Still waiting for them to contact regarding my recall. Don't you want to know the vehicle your buying has a recall before you agree to purchase.. Shady!

Used their shuttle service- great driver. The only thing that was bad was that I dropped by car off at 7:30 am and didn't get a call back til 1pm. Luckily made it in time to get to work.

After five days of having my brand new 2019 Honda HR-V, I noticed my safety features were not working. I called the dealership and they brushed it off and insisted that the safety features (lane assist, collision/break control, and cruise control) were acting up because of the extreme cold weather. Then after two days later, after another car nearly collided with me, I realized that my horn did not work; I tried to press it and silence. Additionally, my steering wheel features (e.g. radio controls) did not work either. After countless times of trying to schedule an appointment to fix my horn, they finally did, but nearly four weeks later. Apparently, I had a defective clock spring and it was due to how the part was installed. It did take a week for the replacement clock spring to arrive, but all the dealership did to compensate me was me a free oil change. In the past, I have never had any issues with Crown Motors…until now. All the representatives always forget to call me by my preferred name and it’d be ok, but I have visited the dealership five times in the past two months. Also, I did not like that they pushed an extended warranty on me and it was quite an inconvenience to cancel it. They were very adamant that I keep it, but I was convinced otherwise. All in all, I would not recommend going to Crown Motors, if you have a choice.

Called regarding Car stock #R5679 between multiple locations they did not know where the vehicle was at. At the time it was listed at the Chicago drive location for about $18,400, once tracked down, the vehicle was moved to the Regent location. Sales person did not go on test drive with us (Joe Verde rule #1-for those who work or have worked in car sales) he also admitted that because it was moved to a new location price was being increased to about $19,500....as of today it is listed online for $20,495. Gave no wiggle room on price with the exception of going down $100 as their best offer (again because it was just moved to a new location per our sales person). All cash offer and honestly, we would’ve paid above the offers we were making, but instead of the manager coming out to close the deal, find out more info on us as to what kind of vehicle we were in the market for, and potentially suggest a different vehicle in the budget he thought we had, he came out and told us that he can not work with us. Heck, he should’ve even suggested “ok so you are willing to put down $17k on a pre owned- why don’t you put down $17k on a brand new vehicle and have a super low payment”—-if I was the sales person or manager I would’ve gladly suggested that. Although Pre-owned sales pay faster, when it comes to monthly bonuses hitting X amount of new cars leaves a heaftier bonus check.We never revived a follow up call from our sales person, or Crown’s BDC staff thanking us for our visit or attempting to once again make the sale. As somebody who has worked in the car business-the entire encounter was handled all wrong and felt very rushed. Especially being told they would not do business with us. They lost business from a respectable doctor who was willing to pay all cash for a vehicle, instead of a Toyota, we are purchasing a Lexus.

We were shopping in greater grand rapids area for a minivan and zeroed onto two dealers including Crown Honda. I dealt with Michael Johnson (client advisor). My current vehicle is from a Grand Rapids dealer and Mike was keen not to lose my business this time. We were there on a Monday to take a look at the minivan during their convenient after-work hours. We test-drove one and looked at/inside of several others for look & feel. I returned two days later with our preferences for price estimate. Since we were in market for 2013 model when 2014 was just out, I was expecting significant reduction in pre-tax price. Mike & his manager exceeded my expectations and offered a great deal. Dealers outside Holland could have potentially matched the price, but I was swayed by Mike's affable nature and decided to buy from Crown. Crown had an efficient post-purchase service and took care of registration/financing formalities. They did not have in stock minivan of my color/trim choice and got one through dealer swap.

Stay away from this repair facility. The worst ever experiences I've had with a repair shop. Episode 1 was 3 days waiting for them to (never) diagnose a rough start. At the end of day 3 when I needed my car back, I had to come down and wait for my car to be "found." My service advisor had gone on vacation without notifying anyone else of the status and there was only 1 overworked (of 4 normally) service adviser there to handle everything. They never did figure out the problem - I had to with Google's help. The second one was worse. I had a bad engine mount. I left the car there for the repair. My son had to pick up the car since I was out of town. They replaced 1 motor mount and left 2 others in place that were completely destroyed. I'm sure they were like that when I dropped it off but why would they send out a car with 2 bad motor mounts? When we called the service manager to complain about this poor service, his response is summarized by "Well that is a bummer." No "What can I do to make it right ?" or anything similar. Poor service group from top to bottom. STAY AWAY!

Jonathan VanderLaan. was extremely helpful and professional. I would honestly recommend them to anyone. On a side note. I found it weird that they only offered me $800 for my 2004 Odyssey that is loaded. It has bumps and bruises, but that offer was really low. I sold my van the same day they offered me $800 for it. The buyer asked why I was selling it for only $3,000. I'm not hitting Crown up on the score, because trade-ins are discretionary. I just found it weird. Other than that, I really enjoyed my experience, and will probably get my next Honda from them as well.

I had to bring my car in for a recall for a new light switch. While they were working on it they raised the car up and poked holes in my exhaust so it was louder than when I came in and told me I had to replace it. Nothing at all to do with the recall! A previous recall the service guy called me an idiot when I refused to have them do an alignment. I had just had an alignment done elsewhere that week and had not replaced the tires. They may know mechanics but their attitude is absolutely terrible. I will never have them fix anything more than a recall.
