Hands down, the best service I've ever experienced with ANY company! Zina Robertson in Service is AMAZING. My girlfriend and I were on a road trip last month when we began to smell a strong odor (what seemed like coolant) inside the car. The odor persisted all day; and when we got into Mackinaw City that evening, I looked for a repair shop to get it into. I found Bishop GMC Cadillac about 15 miles away in Cheboygan. The next morning, we drove down there to get it looked at. And, of course, there was no odor at all the whole way down there! So when we arrived, all they really had to go by was my description of the smell and what I thought it might be. Naturally, they thought it might be the heater core or the evaporator.....both of which are inside the dash and require taking the whole dash apart. An all day job. And they didn't have the parts in stock and would have to wait for them to be delivered. After explaining we were on a road trip....tight schedule, different town every night, going through Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota, then back to St. Louis....and our plans to go to Mackinac Island that day and spend the night there, Zina offered to have Bob take us back to our hotel in Mackinaw City so we could catch the ferry and enjoy our day and evening on Mackinac Island - and they would call me when the car is ready. The next day, Bob came up to Mackinaw City and picked us up at the ferry terminal, and brought us back to Bishop. When we arrived, the car wasn't ready yet, and it was going to be several more hours before it would be. Well, we had reservations in Munising that evening and tickets for a Pictured Rocks boat cruise. The whole time we were there, Zina treated us like family......assuring us that they were going to take care of us and make sure our vacation wasn't ruined by car problems. Zina offered us a GMC Acadia so we could continue on our trip.....and they would bring my car to us in Munising by the next morning! 2 1/2 hours away! I explained that we had to leave that next morning by 8:00am, and she said don't worry about it.....we'll get it to you. So we continued on our trip..... The next morning about 7:30am, Bob showed up at our motel with my car! Where else have you EVER seen service like that? Now, by the time Bob arrived with my car, we smelled that odor again! Bob got under the car and noticed something dripping from under the rear seat onto the catalytic converter. He noticed that it smelled a lot like the odor we were smelling. Bob knew that my car's battery was under the back seat, and that it has a vent tube that drains out there. So he pulled the back seat up.....and found that the vent tubes were off the battery, and there was a lot of moisture under the seat. So Bob put the vent tubes back on and secured them, and suggested we drive it and see if the odor goes away. It didn't; so we stopped at Frei Chevrolet in Marquette the next day - and sure enough, it was the battery! They put a new battery in, and the problem is gone. Thanks to Bob for checking out my car further when he arrived with it, we figured out the problem and got it fixed. And to their mechanic's defense, he really didn't have anything to go by when we brought it in because there was no odor, and we all thought it might be the heater core or evaporator, so he pulled the dash out to get to those, knowing we were on a tight schedule. So I had this car problem.....on a tight schedule road trip vacation....that resulted in an all day repair job....and because of the INCREDIBLE service provided by Zina and her team, we didn't miss a single thing on our itinerary! I can't even begin to thank them enough for doing everything they could to keep our vacation on track and not ruined by some time consuming car repairs. I've never experienced service like this ANYWHERE. I don't typically buy new cars; but if I'm ever in the market for a new Cadillac or GMC vehicle, I have no doubt I would drive up to Cheboygan from St. Louis and buy one from them. That's how impressed I was!

I want to give a huge shout out to #BishopGMC in Cheboygan Michigan. My 17 duramax fell on its face this morning on I75. Hot side pipe blew off the turbo causing my rig to come to a stand still. Turbo is throwing oil out of the intake and dpf is clogged. #Bishop_GMC not only got me towed back to their dealership with help from OnStar, but i was towing a loaded 40' gooseneck that the roadside assistance wouldn't cover. The service manager went out of her way and made some phone calls to have her friend come and grab my gooser to bring to their lot. Now their techs are all hands on deck working to get my truck back on the road, stopping all other projects. Thank God for kind people in the world.

My huband made an appointment to come buy a vehicle because we have to travel a fair bit to get there. Glad I'm not a trusting person and called before we left. The car was being sold as we were on the phone. I would have been beyond upset if we had wasted our time and money to get there and not have the vehicle. Why even offer appointments if it's just a chance it might be there? What a joke.

Incredibly impressed with my experience at Bishop GMC Cadillac. We were in the market for a new vehicle for my sister and had some specific needs. Bishop got us a great 2017 GMC Terrain and we couldn't be more satisfied with the vehicle or the buying process. I live in Detroit and they delivered it to my door. Easy, low pressure sales process, great staff, we worked with Tj and David and they ensured we got exactly the vehicle to meet our needs and were receptive to our specific requests. If you don't live nearby, the drive is certainly worth your time as few dealerships offer a similar level of customer service. I drive Buicks and plan to buy a new Regal from their Buick store in Rogers City next year.

I bought a 2012 Jeep on Friday. During my test drive I didn't notice anything significant. I picked it up Saturday morning. I took it to Walmart and on the way home it made some noises underneath. The hill on Lincoln bridge it hesitated going up. I called and left a message to the sales person to have Aaron call me which was a hour after purchase. No call back. Called this am and talked to him. Apparently they don't precertify Jeeps which I did not know. I was transferred to the service department. I have no cash to make repairs. I am a single mom who wanted a safe vehicle to Travel down state to my daughters wedding shower and wedding. Not too happy right now. In a position I didn't plan for. So I give u 4 stars for the return of my vehicle and money within 10 minutes. I'm wondering why it just couldn't of been fixed? Was this a problem You we're aware of and it would of been expensive to fix. Are you going to sell to another person or fix it and sell for more? I get that it was as is. But I notified you 1 hour after purchase. Is this good customer service or are you just out for good reviews?So basically it's my fault for not having a mechanic look at it before purchase. Are u not a reputable dealership? Just honor the customer, do the right thing, fix it. Problem solved. Now off to auction to sell cheap, fix, then make profit. Here's an idea. Sell it to me cheap. I'll fix it. No Matt I won't call you to help with finding a new or used car. Thank you for the lesson learned

Make sure to ask for the inspection report!!! Had my Trailblazer only 2 months when I found out there is a deep crack and a spot rusted all the way through in the FRAME. Took it to the service dept. to have it looked at and found out the driver side control arm was more dangerous than the frame! They fixed the control arm and are now claiming “The frame is fine. I’m not worried about it.” I’m a single mother of a two year old whose lives they put/are putting in danger from not fixing the broken frame. Very disappointed in Bishop. Also never saw the inspection report after asking 3 times... be careful with these guys. Especially the single mothers out there. I’ve heard I’m not the first single mother they’ve done this to.

Bishop's dealership is by far the best (and only) place to get your vehicle from! I have used several different dealers to get my vehicles over the years. Bishop's is the most friendly, knowledgeable dealership that I have ever used. Their adorable greeting dog Dexter adds so much to their friendly atmosphere! I was treated so well by the entire Team. David was my salesman, he worked close with Rollie and Jules to get everything in place, making my time spent there very quick and painless. They made it work from the price to everything I wanted in my vehicle! Now I finally know what a real dealership is like!

This dealership ripped me off. I paid for a full inspection on my car and it was done surprisingly quick, well that is likely because they didn't actually check anything. I found out not even a month later that the wear and tear of my brakes was so bad that it was dangerous to even be driving my car. Thank you GMC Bishop Cadillac for giving me a false sense of security and putting my life at risk on the road, to add insult to injury they wouldn't even refund my inspection, they should just be glad I haven't taken them to court.

For a dealer who says they care. It is not true. Went into the dealer and was dressed in my work clothing so was my spouse, and wow judge a book by a cover. That is clearly what they did. He said he was the Manager. and when we told him the car we wanted, He automatically tried to sell us a Used Chevy. We wanted a new black Cadillac. And seeing they did not have the car we wanted. And he clearly said he would not locate this car with out us being approved for financing. We chose to drive to another town and we are happy to say our dream car is in our garage every night. Financing odd, They must not take cash at car dealers anymore? who would have thunk? I will never go to Bishop Cadillac Buick again. I will drive 100 miles to buy what we want. He must sell more cars than he needs monthly, did not need our business?

Having lived the majority of my adult life in the Detroit Metro area, I found my recent new vehicle shopping/purchasing experience through Bishop GMC a rather refreshing change from my prior dealings with auto dealerships. From the first time I stepped into the dealership and the owner Tom Bishop walked over to introduce himself and start up a conversation, through the whole selection and negotiating process, up to driving off in my new truck was hassle and pressure free. Even though over a month elapsed due to my inability to zero in on the exact truck that was right for me, I was always met by polite professional staff members that appeared genuinely interested in what I wanted to buy rather than what they wanted to sell me. My salesperson, Adam, was very personal, he treated me like family as we progressed through the entire process. When I finally made my decision on what I wanted, Adam searched for a vehicle optioned out the exact way that I wanted and I never sensed he was dismayed in the least with my reluctance to except a vehicle that was a “close enough” build. The exact configuration I was searching for was not available anywhere in Northern MI so he kept expanding the search area until he found one. Tom had stated that they would travel out of state if necessary to get the vehicle I wanted; fortunately, they were able to secure one about 200 miles south of here. Adam and Tom as well as everyone behind the scenes worked diligently to find a truck optioned out as I desired and deliver it to me at a fair price. This was my first experience with a dealership treating me as a valued customer rather that a means to reach their sales goal, I would encourage anyone in need of a new or used vehicle to visit Bishop GMC Cadillac.

While traveling to Michigan’s U.P. on Friday the 13th of January 2017 at 3:30 pm, our check engine light started blinking. We were just a few miles ahead of an exit which would lead to Bishop GMC Cadillac. A quick search in YP app connected us to one the most prepared, efficient Service Associates I have ever dealt with, Mandy Maltby. She patiently guided us to the exit & then led us to the wonderful Bishop GMC Cadillac Dealership in Cheboygan, MI. where my wife Linda and I, along with our Golden Retriever Reilly, were welcomed by Jan & David Bishop & their Golden, Dexter. We were welcomed into their very nice service waiting area, offered drinks and treats for Reilly and treated like family members. After a complete diagnostic process, it was discovered we lost a cylinder & needed some serious service. Technicians Bill Clark & Doug Carlton went to work immediately to complete this repair, they worked beyond normal hours to assure we would be able to continue our trip Fri. evening to Sault Ste. Marie, MI. The Techs were thorough & neat, very professional. We were on our way by 6:00 pm. As a longtime advocate for using Genuine GM service I have never been more satisfied as a GM owner. Later in evening after our vehicle sat for a few hours, the check engine came back on. We contacted Mandy at Bishop on Saturday morning after obtaining codes. Due to full schedule for Saturday, we were not able to return to dealer on Saturday. Mandy arranged for us to meet at Bishop GMC Cadillac in Cheboygan on our way back down state early Sunday. YES, Sunday-the true definition of a loyal dealership who are committed to customer satisfaction! Mandy & Doug once again wanted to be certain that the work they performed, in such an expeditious fashion, was performed correctly. As it turned out additional repairs would be the cause for the return of check engine light on a very well-worn 2004 Envoy w/230,000 miles on it! My Wife Linda & I could not be more pleased with the exceptional service we received at such a fine GM Dealer, Bishop GMC Cadillac, Cheboygan Michigan!

Appointment was for new tires, brake pads and oil change. I left with tires, front and rear brake pads & rotors. NO OIL CHANGE. Expected a bill for $800.00 ended up with a bill for $1583.00 . Very unhappy with my Jan 2017 purchased of the 2014 Buick. I haven't had the vehicle a year yet and repair costs have already exceeded $2000.00. I doubt very seriously I'll ever buy another vehicle from the Bishop dealership.
