They are warm, friendly and have the best prices around.Their cars are new, well cared for and even come loaded with all the bells and whistles. Not a satisfying customer experience. Office staff is not pleasant - always an attitude. They don't seem to like their customers - I'm always treated like they're doing me a favor to talk to me. It's clear their operations focus on billing insurance and moving on to the next person. I highly recommend Norm's in Hadley instead. I've used Amherst Motors several times. The worst experience was when it came to repairing my paint - subpar attention to detail. The texture didn't match the rest of the car, they didn't get into the grooves, and they didn't buff out all of the wet sanding marks. They didn't stand behind their work when I brought this up to them. Again with their typical attitude. They billed insurance for waxing and buffing labor that never happened, and told me I'd have to come back to actually get it done. Go to Norm's instead. Cody actually enjoys dealing with his customers.

When my last car was in an accident and brought here for evaluation, we went through them for the rental as well and every aspect of the experience was outstanding! When my car ended up being totaled they let me hold on to the rental with no extra charge for a few days until I figured out what I was going to do next. I ended up really loving the rental (a 2013 Sonata) and ended up buying it from them for an incredibly reasonable price, and every step of the way the people here were so nice and accommodating! I'm typically very wary of car dealerships and mechanics, but I never felt anything less than completely welcome by everyone here who I interacted with.

Amazing experience for car rental. The service at the desk was really great from start to finish. The friendly gentleman who checked us in was very personable and chatted with us about our trip. He remembered who we were to ask us about how it went when we returned the car. I was able to reserve online and the standard daily price was almost 20$ per day below the other big national companies. They don't charge extra to have your spouse or SO as your additional driver. That would have been almost 20$ per day extra at other places!!! There is a limit to the mileage per day, 100mi per day at base price or 400mi per day with a 10$ per day up charge. Even with that it was still considerably cheaper than anyone else. Obviously they don't do one way rentals or rentals for beyond the New England region, but barring those conditions it was way better than anyone else we've tried. The cars were Hyundai Elantra for small, Hyundai Sonata for medium and a Chevy Malibu for full sized. The car we rented was nearly brand new and in perfect condition. It was a pleasurable and easy experience all around and they will be our go to for local/regional rentals from now on.

Really amazing work, I had to get the roof of my toyota corolla replaced and it looks amazing. You can't even tell the roof is different, usually for these jobs you can tell because the paint doesn't match exactly between the replaced and old pieces, but they blend the paint and sand it so it doesn't look any different. Really cool stuff, looks great and I feel safe in my corolla again. Service was fast and friendly too, great people! 5/5 would recommend to anyone needing work on their car.

A few weeks ago, my tiny Honda Fit collided with a moose on the way home from work. Honestly, I don’t know how I survived, and there wasn’t more damage to my car. My insurance company suggested North Amherst Motors, because my car was towed to Ernie’s, across the street. From the first phone call I made, until I picked up my car today, North Amherst Motors was amazing. We had an excellent experience at North Amherst Motors. Our car’s doors were damaged after failing to navigate a tight parking space at our garage. We anticipated the repair cost to be a lot higher, and in the worst case scenario, perhaps the doors at the right side of the car needed to be replaced. After we took the car in for a professional evaluation, Matt, one of the staff, called to deliver the good news. That the doors are fine and the scratches were not as bad as they looked. The car was fixed perfectly and only with a fraction of what we thought we would pay. We appreciated North Amherst Motors’ excellent customer service and integrity. As non mechanics who are not knowledgeable about fixing cars, we could easily be told that the car needed go under more severe repair so the garage could get more money. They did not! So We saved both time and money. Thank you so much for your excellent service. Highly recommend this place.

I use this place to rent their 16' box trucks. I have a small moving company and occasionally I need to rent a truck. I have been using uhaul for years and I finally got fed up with them so I decided to take a look at my other options. A friend had mentioned North Amherst Motors so I gave them a call and rented a truck. I was very impressed. The guy who handled my reservation, Josh, was super friendly, very knowledgeable and good at his job. He set us up with a truck and away we went. Now I have rented from them a couple times and each time is as good as the last. The trucks are always clean, they always have a full tank of gas and they have always kept my reservation. Unlike Uhaul, who almost never had the truck I had reserved nor was it ever at the place I had intended to pick it up. Oh and I almost forgot to mention it's CHEAPER than uhaul. Honestly, how can you beat that.
