Got to Dollar rental at 1am, waited in line for 30 mins and was told to wait because they had a skeleton crew. proceeded to wait 2 more hours at 3am still no car. Had a blast will never rent a car from this company again.

Weird access road layout, missed the entrance initially. Was nobody there when I arrived. Eventually found a small sign saying to just leave keys in the car. Bit uncomfortable with that and meant I didn't get a receipt.

Google maps directs you well to the rental car return facility. It's not crowded at BWI so I've never experienced traffic lines and dropping off is very fast. About a mile before there's a gas station which is really helpful!

This facility ONLY has magnetic card swipe readers and ABSOLUTELY NO backup system in place. They refused to hand-type my travel card that had recently been demagnetized. I'm very confused as to why there is no backup system, chip reader, or Tap-to-pay system and only the one way to take electronic payment. They apologized many times, but offered no solutions, nor did they seem to care that they would lose my business and reservation if a solution was not found... fortunately I was able to use the card of a colleague who arrived shortly after I did, but it did not solve the underlying infrastructure shortcomings. Not satisfied.

Prepare to wait forever in line for your rental. Some clerks try to sell you everything they offer some clerks are rude when you tell them upfront that no extra services are needed and up charge you if you don’t refill the rental car within one mile of the rental location and you must have proof that you bought gas at that location.When I question this I was informed that they have the cheapest rental prices. That was not the case when I booked my rental so I will choose another company for now on!

It was great the hardest thing was signs to return the car there was two of both tring to figure it out we both took several attempts to get it right that you need to make left after the one way out from the parking garage. We both ended up doing u turns after passing the building twice I then saw the words return up on sign just way to high for people to see normally. Otherwise this is the second car in a month both went great and fast in and out. I will use again !!!

Love the drip off process but if you're not Budget or Avis you wnd up following arrows all the way around the place. The entrance should be better 8lluminated so depending on direction (I fill up at Arundel Mills) you may miss the turn in....

The shuttle is consistently overfull and late. While completely full, they stop at additional stops because... We aren't over capacity enough? No place for bags or people other than that one step by the driver that, then held four people. With this many people, he blew a red light.

Returning my car, a Camero was stunning easy. Followed signs for Budget. I drove all the way in pulled and got my bags while a gentleman checked the car and took the key. No wait, hastle lines or paper. Utterly smooth, flawless, efficient.

Exiting towards BWI airport from I-195 East needs lights especially along corner turns at night and very early morning car rental returns. Hope there will be future mishaps or accidents from occurring. Please correct this very dangerous flaw!

It is nice that they have all of the rental car companies at this one facility. You only have to look for one shuttle. However it is a good 15 minute bus ride from the airport. Why on Earth did they put it way the heck out there? Might as well just bus you all the way into Baltimore.

I used Enterprise. There is a bus schutte that takes you from here to the airport. It is a good 15 min for the drop off and pick up. This is convenient since all the rental car companies are under the same roof. Pick up was a breeze. With drop off you have to follow the signs. As for enterprise, the bro culture is real. Their posture is a little aloof. Stand firm and you will be fine.

Pick-up and drop-off procedure is archaic and slow. I was at the BWI airport pickup location at 8 am. There was 1 person behind the counter and about 5 people ahead of me in line. Obviously, it took a while for me to pick up a car. Seems to me that, for people with a reservation, there could be an optional kiosk to scan your license, put in your credit card and get your vehicle assignment. Same thing was true upon return. Park the car in the line and wait for someone to come scan it in. That wait wasn’t nearly so long. Other than the process, the car was fine. Even the offer for them to fill the gas tank was reasonable.

Large and clean facility. Instructions were very clear when using the facility and shuttle bus. However, even during non-busy times make sure to add 30 minutes to your agenda for the time it takes to return your car and get to the airport.

You can take the shuttle to get to the rental center. Once the bus drops you off, all rental companies are located in the same building. Returning the rental is easy. You go onto 1 road that takes you to the garage.

Aside from being off-site (which adds time you have to account for), this is a rental experience that I've seen replicated in other places such as Las Vegas. However, the BWI experience feels smoother and my interactions with the staff at Enterprise in both places tips my preference towards BWI.

Rented a budget car. Easy to get a car. Waiting in the line to get the car is prolonged. Nice place for the kids to play inside while the parents are picking the car. Provided high quality child car seat. Cars are new and nice. Return is a breeze.

This is a very nice rental car location. I have rented here a lot. Great protection from the weather, and Avis cars are always new and clean. You need to pull out of the garage to get your GPS to connect. There is a small pull over on the left just before you pull out on to the road thst is good for a connection. Sometimes gps is hard to hook up in this area off and on. I believe it is due to all the military action in this location.

Customer service rep was rude, overly apathetic, and misinformed regarding company policies surrounding drivers license documentation. The rep advised me to "try another company" instead of asking another employee for help. Rather than leaving and trying to make another reservation, I waited for the next available rep (Andre). He was able to help me with no problem. Appears this location needs to improve communication of acceptable employees behavior and / or training practices.

Prepay gas and there is not drama.They did charge me $38 dollars for a 12 gallon tank.The rental was with Thrifty You cannot pick up a car from the airport.They did provide free bus to consolidated rental.The 38 dollar prepay charge was based on the price point of 2.89 a gallon. 12 times 2.89 should not equal 38 dollars. YOU do the math.

Confirm you can rent a car before you reserve a vehicle or arrive thinking they will honor your reservation. If your plane ticket is not flying out from BWI they will need a credit card not a debit card... All in all, plan accordingly. Peace and God Bless.

The folks were great, the location easy to find. I rented from Hertz, through AAA. Perhaps I didn't read the fine print close enough, but I was annoyed that there is a catch when using a debit card: they hold $200 in addition to the rental fee. I don't have a credit card, so I had to deal with the unexpected charge. At BWI, you are sent out to "just choose a car" in a designated zone. That was also unexpected.

Quite disappointing. Returned car early after being assured by Budget Corporate no problem - would nw charged daily rate. Not the case - charged for the full contract. When local manager queried only response was I had to call the 800 number. Car was delivered low on gas (3/4) tank, low on wiper fluid, and with a dirty windshield. When I tried to call the location, no answer. Very disappointed. Always make the customer do the work.

I’m torn writing this review...it’s not their fault that they’re in the worst possible place in regard to the location of the airport. However, it is their fault that they have no one on staff to help people with their bags in order to make it to the bus that takes you 5 miles to the airport. Overall, they’re nice people. But they need more help standing out with customer service so people aren’t almost in tears trying to find a way to get to and from their rental cars from the airport. Overall, what the H were you thinking, Baltimore airport?! Seriously!! Just so wrong.
