i bought a 2017 yaris hatchback here in March. I bought the car specifically for fuel efficency. Since purchasing the car, which I paid approx. 10,000 in total for. The vehicle has been getting a shocking 18 mpg. The vehicle is advertised 30 city/35 highway. And the vehicle computer reads it gets an avg of 29.5 Yet it has never got close and the gas mpg it does get, has been declining. The gas light comes on at 200 miles and its a 11.1 gallon tank-avg 18 mpg. I called Hertz to explain issue and they said my only option was to go to toyota dealership. I spent a full day at lakeside toyota waiting for service eventhough I had an apt and they said they couldnt identify issue but maybe replace air filter. So I did, the next tank I got even less and so then took it to Toyota of New Orleans they also couldnt identify issue but said I needed oil change where the sticker hertz provided said I still have 1500 before needing to be serviced. Curious what other lies Hertz told me about the vehicles history. Now I am stuck with Hertz telling me there is no return policy, no warranty unless toyota connects issue to engine or transmission, and no recourse to spending 10 grand on a vehicle that is advertised as fuel effiecient, that is getting the same gas mpg as a truck. I would return the vehicle if I could and I have no recourse, support or compensation from Hertz in this matter. I have now spent two full work days sitting in toyota dealerships after buying a vehicle that was apparently in excellent condition. I would forewarn anyone from buying a vehicle from Hertz and from trusting the condition of the vehicle Hertz advertises the vehicle is in. They clearly do not mantinence their vehicles as advertised. They also do not take seriously post purchase complaints and issues with their vehicles. I feel I was sold a vehicle at an exspensive price, not in the advertised condition with no semblance of professional, responsible recourse when the vehicle failed to function in a viable way.

Fantastic Service. My wife and I needed to find a car quick. We went to several dealerships to only receive high pressure sales tactics. Went to Hertz on a whim and Larry took care of us. Prices were well below industry standards. Highly recommend!!!!

One week ago I bought a 2018 Kia Rio here. Rogelio was my salesperson. He was polite and friendly, patient, and helped accommodate my schedule and payment options. So far the car is running well. I would recommend this dealership, and specifically Rogelio, to my friends.

Had a good experience here with Rogelio when my boyfriend was buying a car. He was friendly and patient as we checked out several cars. The other staff there that day were also nice even those who we weren't working with directly. They kept us hydrated with plenty of water on a 90+ degree day in the sun. Wide selection of cars at good prices and unlike "regular" dealers there wasn't a bunch of price haggling which is a nice change. Recommend checking them out if you are in the market for a used car.

Bad customer service, long waiting and unfriendly staff. Car was located in the back of the lot and inaccessible for test drive. We called ahead of time TWICE (Monday & Today in the morning) with all intentions of purchasing the car, but due to lack of correspondence and follow up, no messages were relayed to appropriate parties.

Saying that I am extremely upset with Hertz Car Sales is putting it lightly. After traveling from the Northshore to the Westbank to view their cars we had to wait nearly an hour to test drive a vehicle because they could not find the keys to the car. Being that they have only been open for three weeks, I tried to be patient. I returned with my father a couple of days later so that he could inspect the car. Everything looked good and we were attempting to purchase the vehicle. Because I was pre-qualified through my credit union, and Hertz is not set up for a funds transfer, I needed to provide a Buyer's Order to my credit union so that they could cut Hertz a check. Since my credit union is located on the Northshore and it was late Friday afternoon, I asked if I could bring the check to them on Monday. The Hertz Manager and Financial Officer said that it was not a problem, that they would hold the car for me until Monday. I left Friday, Buyer's Order in hand, and the promise of a newer car for my daughter from the Manager. I even received a call Friday evening from the Saleswoman stating that my car was being detailed. Monday morning I headed to the bank to withdraw funds as a downpayment to the credit union. Since the Buyer's Order contained the VIN, I called my insurance company and got everything set up and paid the first month of insurance for the vehicle. We drove to the credit union and met with the loan officer who asked me to contact the Financial Officer at Hertz and ask him to change the address for the title and a glitch in our name. Upon calling Hertz this morning, and getting transferred to three different people, I finally told the person what I needed. He informs me that the car had been sold on Saturday....BY THE MANAGER!. This is no way to conduct business! So the word of the Manager and piece of paper that is signed by the Financial Officer isn't worth the paper it's written. They say that things happen for a reason and maybe this is my blessing in disguise. If you are looking for a vehicle, buyer BEWARE if you shop here! This location has only been operational for three weeks and is a Mickey Mouse operation. What a waste of time and effort! I sure hope that you guys get your act together at this location or it will not be open for much longer. I plan on writing the Hertz Co. and telling them about my experience as well as anyone else who will listen. Shame on you!

Well I brought a 2017 Hyundai sonata from here close to two weeks ago and I love the car so far the staff was nice and they didn't sell the car and they actually held the car for me I didn't feel as though I wasn't being screwed over by them the only reason why I'm giving them a four out of five stars is because of this when I got the car they didn't put the correct date on the registration on the car and they didn't give me the titles they actually forgot to give it to me but they gave me free gas from travelling back there to get those two things

I would give them 0 stars if possible. I spoke via email with Bryant Duvernay off and on for weeks. Come to a agreed upon price so I come for test drive after test drive I agreed upon price just goes out the window. I am informed that Hertz doesn't negotiate however when I went next door the manager calls with a different price. That's negotiating correct? I declined and moved on. Liers all up and through there. Don't let them run your credit either.

The prices are far lower than at typical dealerships or lots and you don't have to deal with trying to negotiate cost. The employees who helped us were all very kind and helpful. Slightly disorganized but the wait times weren't overly long. Absolutely would recommend buying a car from here!

Run the other way. Worse than poor customer service and the Hertz Car Sales headquarters doesn't care. I live two hours away and wanted a mechanic down the street to pass by and simply do a visual inspection (no tests, etc) to make sure it was in good shape. But NO, I was the ONLY person who could even LOOK at it! Amazingly stupid and poor excuse for customer service. Enterprise Car Sales is nearby, try them, but don't patronize Hertz, ever.

Can't give good opinion for HERTZ CAR SALES. I called them to ask for information on rentals, and the guy who picked up the phone was very very disrespectful and useless. I don't get why he wasn't able to tell me that the place I was looking for, were next door to his place. Instead of that he hang up the phone. Express drive in Lyft Hub was just great!! They are very nice and helpful..

Worst place I’ve ever been to. Horrible service. Extremely unprofessional employees, especially their managers. They will sell cars from under you after you sign all the paperwork. Don’t EVER go here for a used car. Their cars are not well taken care of and have scratches and dents all over. Some have the smell of a smoker inside and carpets are bleached and their colors do not match. They have no respect for their customers whatsoever.

Best car buying experience ever! Mr. Larry was amazing! If you go there ask for him. Bought car same day it was fantastic. cars are super new, low mileage, in great condition. I'll probably only buy cars from Hertz from now on. Prices beat anything else you'll ever see. 200/10 would recommend! ***HEADS UP*** they only take down payments in form of money order OR check...weird i know but be prepared to have either of those. no debit cards or credit cards.
